A nice .04 spike after hour.
I would say it is speculative not stupid.
Although I don't believe a buyout will happen but more in a partnership
or consortium.
80%/20% -- 80% chance for a partnership and 20% chance for a buyout.
Nak will demand too much in a buyout in which no company will bite.
They know that they are sitting on a fortune with this long term
mining operation.
A buyout will surprise me.
Just my humble opinion.
I'm on board with that.
Nice volume.
Nice spike into the 1.90's.
Shades of things to come?
We need more institutions to come on board.
It is around 7 % right now.
They should make the opposition an offer they can't refuse.
I am still trying to make the connection.
The fact that NAK has not done an update since 7/11/17 but
the affiliate did on 9/9/17 but nothing new makes you wonder what is going on.
What games are going on behind closed doors.
Right now it is about 5/1 b/a
When is the slap ask supposed to happen?
Yes.
Why an affiliate would post it on that date?
I believe we have to wait and see by the end of this month before making any rash judgement.
Yes I know you did, but the actual date of the link was not posted?
The only posting about Nak from other sources was on Saturday 9/09/17.
The company connected with NAK, HDI.
Link date of 9/9/17 but nothing new to report.

I guess they had a reason to post it?
The latest posting by anyone ---

What's going on? No posts or updates?
Thanks guys for your take on this stock.
I went by my stop/loss and still hanging on.
Good luck to all longs.
When you say, "rapidly approaching", I hope that means before 2018?
Price of gold and silver going up has some influence.
Partnership pending also a big factor.
What is going on???
I believe a lot of people get a little edgy but this one was a false
alarm. No problem
HDI is a private company.
So I can see Nak as a Subsidiary, no problem.
Try this one and type in norther dynasty in the search box,

Went to the HDI web page below.

Sorry about that -- got the wrong mining Co.
This makes no sense at all.
IDMMF is trading @ .11
Who should be a subsidiary of who?
Maybe we should be invest in IDM.
Yeah, I know that but Trump backs him and this project.
Jobs,jobs,jobs.
Revenue for local, state and federal government.
I will not believe he will block that.
Just because Trump gave in to some issues does not mean he is doing
a complete 180.
Scott Pruitt is at the helm of the EPA, so not to worry.
There is still Obama left overs in the EPA and other government agencies.
It could be inside the EPA this is going on.
Trump was going to drain the swamp but instead of congress start with the
government agencies.
Something is in the works.
Ditto!
Not to be holding long on this stock today would be foolish.
If you can afford it, accumulate @ these prices.
Just my opinion.
A Seeking Alpha Sept 1 update.
A much more positive tone going forward by Seeking Alpha on Northern
Dynasty.
https://seekingalpha.com/article/4103671-northern-dynasty-minerals-update
I didn't mean the partnership just no problems going forward but
that is not the case as many in Alaska are against this project
as well as Hollywood and the environmentalist in this country.
Didn't you know that it will have an effect on climate change.
They are already blaming the two hurricane's this year on global warming.
I am still waiting to see if Manhattan Island will be under 2 feet of
water by 2012.
I am still waiting 5 years later Al which he predicted in 2000.
These people make millions alarming the public by writing books and
giving speeches.
I never said this was a done deal.
But the potential is huge if the company can get by these hurdles so
I am sticking with Nak, hopefully for the long term.
It maybe that finding a partner or buyer may be hard because of these
hurdles.
Sorry, I thought this was in the main posting and not a sticky.
Why would NAK drop the law suit against the EPA if there was still
open issues with the EPA?
I don't get it.
I want to see what the Army Corp of engineers comes up with in their
environmental impact study before making any judgment on the project
going forward.
This I know is no slam dunk because of the native Indian opposition
to this project and also the Hollywood environmentalist.
So much will be lost in revenue for the area and the state including
cheaper electricity and roads if this project is stopped.
Not to mention good paying jobs for the locals.
I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I thought this was resolved already when NAK agreed to drop the law suit
after the EPA withdrew their blocking of the pebble project. (EPA overreach
under the Obama administration)
Early July this was resolved.
The next step is the environmental impact study by the army corp of
engineers. This will take about a year and another added cost for NAK.
Maybe there is something I am missing with the EPA.
Please enlighten me.
Why NAK is in such a great position right now.
Read the entire report below and the above statement is obvious.

A partnership or buyout (less likely) one or more of these companies
below will probably be involved.
