Wonder how long it will take them to scale up this lab size prototype. Focusing on the low cost high voltage solar cell, I wonder if that means they have already achieved a voltage like 1.7 or higher, 2 volts maybe? I would imagine at some point in the juicing up process of the prototype they would have that as a goal but maybe the can achieve a commercial scale one before that. Excited to see where this goes by years end!
I have 2 more semesters after this one to get my Paramedics license and after that I am seriously thinking of taking some finance and economics courses just for the backround. As a kid, like 2nd or 3rd grade we took a field trip to Wall street and got to see the exchange and I loved it. Always been fascinated with the idea of investing money to make you more money lol. Still a ways off but a very likely goal for my future and something that would definitely be utilized at some point. Again my biggest leaning tool so far is just talking to people with more experience, so those classes would be great.
Sorry if that came out wrong. I wasn't being rude and absolutely no ill will towards you, that's just me being adamant about something I believe in. I was raised in flushing New York and my family are big mouthed Italians lol. I'm still new to investing I only have a few years under my belt with no major gains OR losses so I never mean anything I say in a bad way. I still need lots of experience. That's actually how I learn too just getting on these boards and following conversations and such. Glad you got out in time that's a lot of money. I have 1.1M shares here so I'm either going to win big or learn a big lesson the hardest way haha.
haha did you just pick my post at random to comment on? Your not on the same page as me with that. What I mean by just starting is that they are just starting to make real progress and yea I already know you and a few others here laugh at the word 'progress' we get it bro. Yeah they have been around for years and yes they have been working on this current project for some years to. I for one believe there is a lot of potential here. But if you can provide me with something factual that actually suggests what the proper timeline should be when working on this sort of tech, ' and I already know you cannot' then yea maybe I'd be more like you and just pop in here when I feel like raining on someone else's parade. haha So much emotion I mean, are you even invested here bro? If not then clearly you have too much time on your hands. LOL
Exactly! HYSR has just started. Off to a hell of a start too, imitating what nature already knows. That's freaking amazing! If HYSR continues this sort of progress I'll hold onto this for years! As long as noone else comes along and reaches the finish line first I say hold onto this. Play the ups and the downs best you can and cash in on the mothership when it comes. As far as I see on the world wide web they are one of a kind. Like it was just stated the coating itself is potentially worth a lot! Great things to come here!
You are right about all of that. Let's see what next PR says. If they go right back to new voltage or photocurrent with no timeline or anything, just the usual, then yea maybe were just paying Tim's bills. We need more info on this prototype. If this is all for real, then any new info we get should be on scaling up this prototype specifically making it cost competitive.
The video from 2 days ago says their using their proprietary hydrogen production particle, which consists of a high voltage solar cell encapsulated in a protective catalyst coating integrated into a membrane separator. It's the coating that allows so many hours of H2 production in corrosive water. They say the solar cells their using are expensive and they are integrating their own low cost high voltage solar cell component. Sooo what's the problem here? How is it that nothing has changed because as far as I can tell that was not the goal from the last video demonstration they did a long time ago. If that's the case then clearly this demonstration has something new to offer does it not? They are vague no details about anything but the goal of a low cost solar cell is new as far as I can see. They took care of the corrosivity problem, tweaked voltage, photocurrents, etc, now their working on bringing the cost down for the whole project. That seems like progress to me so what's the problem? Am I missing something here?
I know, 250K is a lot and WE pay his salary. You could definitely be right. I know you've been following HYSR for years and they've switched things up a few times. But at least this is the most promising thing they have claimed so far right? Or at least it seems like it to me. I'm not saying that this prototype will for sure change the game however their at a point where they either start making ridiculous amounts of progress with this prototype, improve the tech, make it viable for real world conditions OR they will pull a 180 and do what they did a few years back with the solar cells. If they kick all this to the curb for something new then yes you were absolutely right and I will start day trading my position for whatever profit I can take till I am completely out. HOWEVER.. I really hope your wrong and we all make some money!
haha I share your dream. I can't wait to see how they improve on their current position and once they unfold a business plan. So much excitement still ahead!
Also thanks for your all thoughts on here PJM. I have learned a lot on this board and much of the science from you sir. Please don't stop sharing your knowledge here.
So does anyone have any idea what their next move might be? Maybe incorporating their own cheap catalyst and bringing cost down? Perhaps it's still increasing voltage or photocurrents? Just looking for thoughts if anyone has any.
I like when some of you wizards here start talking science. You guys are smart! Makes me want to take some chemistry or physics next semester. Chemical engineering just so I understand the tech better.
At the end of 2015 the U.S. Department of energy had H2 at $3.10 kg. Didn't HYSR say in one their last few PR's that with all goals achieved and through their own catalyst they should be producing H2 at or around $4kg? That puts them in the ballpark, not to mention that's with saltwater or other contaminants, which is not in the equation for the Dept. of energy. Then with scaling up the tech I don't see why price would be an issue at that point the tech pays for itself. They should have given us more facts about this prototype but till now they have done EVERYTHING they say their gonna do. Affordable, efficient H2 around the corner:) imho
What has to happen in order for them to get listed on a bigger exchange? Do they need a product to actually market? Do they need a bigger financial cap? I'm just curious what the odds are of that actually happening.
You were absolutely right! We are going to have our glory day in the hot sun haha I'm so freakin stoked right now! GREAT DAY!
HELL YEA!!! HYSR isn't just fluff and jibber jabber they are serious and obviously ready to do big things. Spectacular day! Not selling any on this pop either I'm waiting for this to get scaled up, partnered/sold, whatever they decide to do. Great job Tim! I'm proud to be invested in this company.
If it drops enough I will buy in again. Can't wait for that next PR though! Gonna be an exciting day when it all comes together. When it does I will fly to where your at and we will cheers over ice cold brews and to our success. Then I'm going to CA and cheersing it up with Tim!
That's very informative thank you for that link. I also didn't know that the H2 has to be 33% renewable over there. They are raising the bar and that's a step in the right direction for the industry as a whole.
Soon HYSR will change the game rules with H2 from a 100% renewable source.
I wonder who they are getting all that H2 from?
I'm with you guys on that point. If they suddenly have some new necessary goals that are farfetched in order to complete the prototype I will reconsider staying here. However my gut says they will be moving on to the prototype. Can't freakin wait to find out lol
Come on Timmy boy lay it on us what's the scoop. Are you reading this? How close are we to all goals achieved? Timeline? Give us something real.
How many shares you sitting on now bro? Still at 1.1M here but I will buy more only if we drop to a new low. Other than that I'm done buying for now too.
I know and I remember thinking at that time it won't be long now. They've come a long way I really hope they can wrap things up for a working prototype by years end, or maybe at least a plan set in motion. Can't wait to see what they surprise us with.
Sure would be nice to get an update right about now. Maybe there's really nothing else to update, and next move they drop the curtain for the prototype? lol Wishful thinking. I'm not sure that will be the next update but I'll bet it's right around the corner.
One things for sure this sun up to sun down BS has gotta go. Routing for all green energy companies, like it's been stated here before rising tide lifts all the boats and by God I'm gonna catch one of em. lol
That's what I'm hoping/expecting too .25-.50 easy maybe higher. At that point the last 3 years of progress would finally spell real results that's gonna be worth a lot pps wise. I think this is on a lot of people's radar to.
Haha I know, that's another reason I like this company too bro I like the suddenness. It keeps me guessing. Wonder what the 10k will look like. Even if it's not pretty that's fine by me I don't think you can put a price on real progress. Can't wait to see what Timmy boy's got cookin! Still sittin on 1.1M if it hits a new low I'll jump in but if not I feel good where I'm at but keep buying bro if I made more money I absolutely would be.
Wow what the heck happened lol down 10% and a 008 bid. Maybe we will get another shot at new lows next week. Not exactly what I wanted lol but it's alright. One of the next few PR's will have something good it's around the corner.
Hopefully we end the day in the green tomorrow. Sloooowly moving up the last few weeks gotta keep up the momentum. September is here let's see if we get some good news. This is a paradigm shift, everyone racing to be the first to exploit this incredible tech. I for one cannot wait to cash in on my piece of the pie.
I am right there with you. They do what they say their gonna do.
How in the world can a company that's working on new technologies, trying to bring those techs to market 'NOT' be in debt?? What up and coming company ever made a profit before they had a viable, marketable product?
Long HYSR
Can you post an article about them? Or a link? I can't find anything on them more recent than 2015.
I agree with you. Nice range so far today to let's keep moving up! I'd really like to see some good news in September. All goals accomplished? Maybe new agreements with new Universities, speed things up? Prototype timeline, expectations? Maybe even a mention of a possible future partnership with someone big, granted they successfully build the prototype. Anything lol
Wow you know him? That's auzome! I looked him up he donated heavily to those kinds of conservations and protection of wildlife. That's really cool that he was so involved in the BVI. I did not know that.
I agree with you there are people out there who could care less. But I think there are also quite a few oil magnates who could help make great progress towards all green energy but they don't because that's a loss of money, power, influence etc. These guys have built empires and they don't want to lose a bit of it. John D Rockefeller was worth billions. But his climb to the top also broke many other people. Cutthroat. Lot's of those guys have just passed on the power to new generations and their not interested at all in helping someone like HYSR. Nor is Donald Trump and he just may be the next president. I think that lack of support hinders growth. Let's say Larry Page donates a 100M to growing companies for R&D. That's like you and me giving a dollar for every hundred that we have. It will only go so far meanwhile great possibilities get swept under the rug IMHO.
Uber's self driving cars partnered with Volvo. Now they just need to buy HYSR's tech and make it all environmentally friendly. Just crazy seeing the tech advance so much so fast. Self driving taxi's, drone delivery, smart home devices.. What will these technologies be like 50years from now?
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/post_new.aspx?board_id=18754
I think All of it. Price it will soon be cost competitive if not beneficial, Ecologically it's a no brainer providing power without disrupting the ecosystem, it's the most abundant element in the universe, it can be used to power almost anything and who doesn't want to do what's best for the environment right? If HYSR makes that prototype that's a huge step towards an H2 nation. For the most part I think greed is one of the biggest factors holding progress back. Old money doesn't want to pass on the power.
See I think we will have a similar pop to that soon. Once they build the prototype, then start talking major deals and scaling the tech from that point, who knows where this will go!
Nice!! I really like hearing that. I'm just as sure as I've ever been as well. The market is getting ready to take off and soon HYSR will be positioned as a dominant player.
I honestly hope your right. I want them to make all this happen. History being made right before our eyes bro.
lol I wish i had a chance to buy in the trips. I'd put everything I have in this at that point.
I think new 52week lows are around the corner.
Haha Well, I can't say for sure but I hope you are wrong sir!
