This is a huge international market as the Times of London points out:
"Several online sellers have begun marketing CBD as a treatment for pets that suffer from sleep loss, arthritis or pain."

Elephants get cannabis oil to help them grieve
The elephants in Warsaw zoo are receiving doses of cannabis extract in a grief counselling experiment after the death of the herd’s matriarch.
Since Erna died in March, aged 35, keepers noticed that the zoo’s surviving females, Buba and Fredzia, were displaying signs of stress and anxiety. In what appears to be the first study of its kind they have been put on a course of cannabidiol (CBD), one of the non-psychedelic active ingredients found in cannabis, to soothe them.
If the experiment is a success the zoo plans to begin administering the drug to other large mammals.

excellent post, Funman.... imo, 20s CAD could be on the cards for Aphria next year if dems flip senate and pres...
...'the illegal cannabis seized is estimated at more than $42 million.'
WOW, Funman, that's a major brick out of the black market wall...
looks like hundreds of customers will be looking for legal supply...
back to the roaring 20s...
"$50 a share..." that has a favourable tone to it...
This is very encouraging, thanks Funman:
"Aphria has by far the highest growth potential in the shortest amount of time. If the company continues to make a profit and expand its business, it could easily reach pre-crash, pre-cannabis bubble, pre-controversy share prices of $22 per share. That’s a potential upside of 250% as of writing. "
agreed... however, the powers that be here in Europe, the hidden powers - the real powers - they are moderate to staunch conservative, both catholic and protestant, military orientated, business controlling, banker slave driving their mediocre bureaucracies, and they are anti-canna... that's why they are holding back medical canna from the UK to Denmark to Ireland and France and.... some, like the right-winging catholics, really hate the herb... they are anti-life anti-fun paltroons... sad fecks...
I am so surprised that Spain and Italy are not further along the road to legalisation. Both the present Madrid and Rome coalition governments are the most sympathetic towards cannabis legalisation of all previous governments. And both need tax money to pay for the virus crisis, however, the European Central Bank and the Brussels governing bureaucratic elite are hell bent on borrowing, printing euros, and more borrowing their way out Covid's economic collapse. Sometimes I think we Europeans are already down the Mad Hatters hole as economic common sense seems to be an alien species on this continent... in fact, common sense seems to be an outlaw on this continent.... maybe when we wake up, and see the need for real money, then Italy, Spain, Greece et al will legalise, regulate and tax the plant...
Love that one, GoSing, thanks:
"With Aphria's stock tumbling in recent weeks, now could be an attractive time to buy shares of this top Canadian cannabis company. It's definitely made a name for itself as the best Canadian pot stock out there, and it's hard to find a better buy in Canada right now, especially when factoring in its strong sales numbers and impressive bottom line."
Spot on... so you're still Wheel-ing ... another Deadhead.... once hung with a fella who took Jerry Garcia touristing our old land... what a hoot... lost days in mesmerising haze... no doubt if Jerry was alive today he'd be invested in LPs like Aphria...
you are correct, "so cheap".
you are correct, "so cheap".
What Are Kamala Harris’ Current—And Past—Views On Cannabis?

thanks, GoSing.
Where would you get it but America: Mayor Stoney wants legal pot...

Looking like Arizona could vote for legalisation in November with 62% supporting legal cannabis:
Cannabis Legalization Officially Added To Arizona Ballot
Registered voters in Arizona will determine the fate of cannabis legalization in their state.

All good for Canopy... cannacheers....
Here something that ought to boost Canopy's CBD (cannabidoil) drinks:
CBD DOES help the mind: Study finds that cannabidiol improves blood flow to parts of the brain associated with memory and decision-making
Researchers gave 15 participants with no history of cannabis use 600 mg of CBD on different occasions for a week and then 600 mg of a placebo
MRI scans showed CBD increased blood flow to the hippocampus, responsible for memories and the orbitofrontal cortex, responsible for decision-making
The team says this could offer therapies for those who suffer conditions that affect memory, such as Alzheimer's disease

Ms Harris is pro legalisation, which can only be good for Canopy.
She could turn the key swing states, because ?all of them, except for Arizona, have noteworthy and important black voting blocs...
Ms Harris, whose parents are of Indian and Jamaican heritage, is the first South Asian-American senator in US history and the second African-American woman to be sworn into the upper chamber.
Cannabis legalisation will happen in the US next year, imo.
Is cannabis legalisation far off in the US with Joe Biden picking Kamala Harris as his running mate...?
Joe Biden picks Kamala Harris as his running mate .... if this pair win then is legalisation far behind...?

Canopy also appears to be in the early days of a broad-based U.S. strategy aimed at securing a top spot in the burgeoning CBD market. The company recently signed NFL all-star Patrick Mahomes to an endorsement deal for its Biosteel sports nutrition subsidiary, launched an online sales portal for its U.S. CBD brand, and restructured its deal to acquire U.S. pot producer Acreage Holdings Inc. once it is federally permissible to do so.
Klein said the company is moving "as quickly as we can" to expand its U.S. operations under the limitations of only being able to compete in the CBD space. The launch of Canopy's CBD partnership with lifestyle icon Martha Stewart is expected to happen next month, he added.
thank you for your common sense posts.
Noting that Canopy had doubled throughput of its cannabis beverages in July, Klein told Yahoo Finance’s YFi PM that the company was set to double capacity in August, yet again, due to strong demand as the cannabis giant eyes expanding its beverage footprint into the U.S.
Canopy Growth (CGC) shares spiked 8% Monday after the world’s most valuable cannabis company reported fiscal first-quarter results that topped expectations on its top and bottom lines.
Net revenue in the quarter increased 22% from the year prior to top C$110 million ($82.17 million) and the company’s C$92 million adjusted EBITDA loss was much better than expected, thanks in part to an 18% reduction in headcount and falling expenses.
