There are many reasons to do it. One reason is to make a few billion dollars with no more headaches. And think about how many PRs could have been released to the stockholders already.
If there is any truth to this hypothesis about M&A, then it makes sense to keep stock price at these levels until they can acquire as many shares as possible and then Baltia & Partner release a PR and release any price per share. It can be a stock for stock transaction, and it could be for a certain amount of shares of Baltia you get a certain amount of stock of the acquiring company. (my guess is that it would be a good price, the owners and management of Baltia wouldn't accept anything less than a decent stock price for what they have.)
The idea is to buy Baltia's stock under the table without running it up. This way, the true longs and investors will get the big benefits.
DEFINITION of 'Confidential Treatment Order - CTO'
An order that provides confidential treatment for certain documents and information, that a company would otherwise have to file. A confidential treatment order (CTO) is issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and may only be in effect for a certain period of time, rather than indefinitely.
BREAKING DOWN 'Confidential Treatment Order - CTO'
Companies would typically seek a CTO in order to keep information that would otherwise put it at a disadvantage, a secret. For example, a company may apply for such an order to keep information regarding a pricing arrangement made with a partner, secret, since competitors finding out this information may go after the partner with a more competitive price.
The acquirer would have to file a registration document unless it has a CTO
More proof of quiet period; Baltia PR'd the fight crews recurrent training on or around July 28th.
Baltia did not PR their three crews going to do recurrent training.
Why not, they PR'd it before and now they're quiet?
a billion shares at .005 would cost 5 million dollars, again chump change to the company that has 3 billion to buy back shares but doesn't have to do that with those funds.
I'm just putting out ideas, it is common sense that something is really going on and it's not just the vendor because Baltia could have PR'd that too.
you wouldn't see that information from anyone because the pps would go wild and the acquiring company is wanting to buy shares a cheaply as possible.
Look at our volume on the 22nd. That amounted to chump change ($300,000) to a big NYSE airline company.
We need a PR; but any information cannot be released officially if there is a waiting period or quiet period.
I'm only sharing facts with the filings, the silence from the company and UAL's filing for a confidential treatment order.
Just wondering. UAL is just an example; but they have 3 billion dollars for a buyback program that they don't have to use to buyback shares. you gotta read UAL's financials very carefully and word for word.
I'm just using UAL for an example, maybe I should say ABC company.
On September 21, 2015; United Air Lines filed a CT or (confidential treatment order)
Our stock went wild on the 22nd of September.
It could be just a coincidence. We filed required Audited Financials on the 10th of September. Audited financials are also a requirement in M&A's
"Quiet Period:
The federal securities laws do not define the term "quiet period," which is also referred to as the "waiting period." However, a quiet period extends from the time a company files a registration statement with the SEC until SEC staff declare the registration statement "effective." During that period, the federal securities laws limit what information a company and related parties can release to the public."
It has been very quiet and we are waiting, lol.
juseftl wouldn't it be awesome. UAL's stock was around 60 per share then yesterday it went to 58 and our stock went up. Usual behavior between an acquirer and company being acquired; Plus UAL wanted those routes accorging to some IPO posted from awhile back and UAL just got 3 billion dollars for its share buyback program. They didn't hurt the stockholders with a reverse split.
They have big planes that can do now what Baltia is trying to do.
I'm just saying for example.
I did do that and that isn't all. I really believed in Baltia and I am deperately hoping they have one ounce of integrity as the Marvel CEO for the shareholders.
very positive juseftl. To explain what I am saying about a friendly buyout or merger and acquisition is that the airlines about which I speak already have planes certified and flying around, they could capture a gigantic increase in revenue with what Baltia does have in their company.
Thank you speckulater. Thank you. eom
okay, now we're putting negative doubt on the board via attacking the airplane with nose gear and landing gear and it already has new engines and I am fairly certain, Baltia would have already handled the above when they acquired the plane.
We don't have to wait to get certified before we're a buyout candidate; the money is in the flight to St. Petersburg and CARGO and other Eastern european destinations.
The acquiring air lines (if that is an option) already have certified planes flying around.
Could be accurate emit; however what if we already passed the mini and we cant get the proving flights before the mini passes and why wait till they get certified; then they're already an airline.
Further, UAL, DAL, LUV, etc. already have their certification and the pure revenues are in the routes and cargo that Baltia already has.
Firestream, nose gear, landing gear, new engines, what kind of air craft do we have. I was thinking (besides a buyout or takeover or merger) that our only question is about the R1 slide and maybe haveing to redo that; but it has been too long for that. Baltia would have been prepping for another mini or test of the R1.
I have a lot invested in this stock and it's not just money. It's very sentimental things that I took to the Pawn Shop just to get a better position.
I even traded a diamond and sapphire necklace and that is painful even though it's just "stuff"; baltia is supposed to provide a good future in a very fast amount of time. That is why I chose it.
Thank you
i'm looking for a buyout or merger. The companies that bid for the same routes that Baltia won are very in demand and competitive and worth millions to an air line company that is already up and running.
A buyout would be great, or a merger and acquisition or something like that and they can pay the stockholders a certain price per share while they're maybe buying as many as possible at this price.
Just another opinion on this situation.
I thought they're awaiting proving flights; this is the first I've read about landing gear. It landed fine when it did the air show last year.
maybe yes and maybe not; but we know it's imminent. We are on the cusp of a big PR.
If a PR about the mini is released, this WILL gap up. If they release it during regular trading, the SEC can halt it for a few hours and then it's going to a dollar...and it will have a retrace.
If the PR is released after hours, gap up. People think that the stock chart has to close the gap, i.e. come back down to where it gaps up and runs again, but it's hard to predict if that would even happen. I've seen both ways.
It's rare to not see a stock retrace to where it gapped up; but it can happen.
This international air lines is so important I don't think anyone can accurately predict the stocks behavior.
Because we know the recurrent training was successful and the mini getting a final YES is all we need to be officially an up and coming airline; even if proving flights aren't complete.
Nobody is going to bet any other way. They will do proving flights and they will succeed.
We need a PR or some communication from Baltia instead of all this guessing about the mini. I think it passed. But I want to hear it from Baltia or the FAA
We can always trade at 10, 20 or 30 times earnings when we make revenue from the inaugural flight. Tech companies trade that many times earnings and so do some airlines.
Luna, if we have the following reverse split scenerio, then let's look at an example of what usually happens:
100,000 shares at .005 = $500, then 50,000 shares at .01 = $500. Then the shorts attack the company and if the price goes back to .005, we're looking at 50,000 shares at .005= $250 (before reverse split we'd have the 100,000 shares instead of the 50,000 shares used in this very good example.
A reverse split on this stock is a crime and unacceptable. IMO
That is for sure finna_make_gains. I noticed the MM manipulation on level II
You don't know how an RS works. They give you less shares worth more money supposedly. But shorts just short it back down and you get less shares worth less money.
The only dignified way to correct a share structure with integrity of management is to institute a share buy back program like United Airlines.
Management has to demonstrate that they care about their shareholders and respect our decision to help them raise capital.
reverse split = unacceptable
A reverse split is absolutely unacceptable. United Airlines emerged from bankruptcy and began a share buy back program because of all of the convertible debentures it got itself into. They did NOT do a reverse split, they instituted a share buyback program. A much more equitable treatment to their shareholders.
I'd rather see a merger and acquisition before seeing a reverse split.
PERIOD.
The article forgot to mention that Baltia just finished recurrent training for proving flights; that they didn't fail the mini, that they're in the performance stage of the certification, they actually have pilots and an HQ is JFK but operate in Michigan, they secured the competitive flights to St. Petersburg; Kiev; Minsk, and other Eastern block locations, that they currently have 70 employees (stated in the audited 10K), they also have three flight crews THREE verified to do training, and completed recurrent training at the Kalita (sp?) airport.
The article is "materially misstated" and should not be taken at face value.
Maybe they're trying to comfort the shorts the way longs post facts that are positive.
Robodog, I remember your prediction and today is a very important day in the world for peace and goodness. It's like you have a crystal ball... i totally recall the date being predicted.
The stock held its general foundation at .004 and that is pretty surprising considering the volume. Just think, somebody bought all those shares. WOW
Thats our potential when we become an air lines in the very near future, I hope.
And you can bet those air lines have heard of Baltia, it's their business to know about any future competitors.
I'm suspicious of the big air lines too...trying to hold Baltia back. UAL also bid for those routes according to some IPO prepared awhile ago.
UAL just got another 3 billion for its buyback program but they can use it for anything. At least that is what it says in its 10Q.
Corporate espionage, corporate sabotage, it all exists in the real world.
They passed according to the FAA Eastern Michign FSDO. We could of heard at this point unless some merger or acquisition is going on with negotiations.
It's just too quiet.
Watching level II is like watching paint dry on Baltia. Watching UAL, DAL, LUV, JBLU is soooooooo different. The trades move constantly T&S ver busy.
Baltia is just sitting there while, imo, MMs pick up shares at these prices.
Baltia Bull, it's hard to say; but I think if it were me, I wouldn't let the FAA BF Goodrich screw around while I waited. I would have done like you said, we could have already had a mini instead of wasting two months sitting around waiting for FAA BF Goodrich.
Maybe next time they can get the slides from the carnival vendors, they work.
I am trying to get more funds to pick up some more shares...after watching it a bit
Once proving flights begin and they are successful, the certification will be obvious...It's an Air Lines. It will be official. Proving flights we just need a PR about proving flights and we'll know they passed the mini and they're actually an International air line company.
Ameriprise they posted earlier before it was posted that this place holds positions for individual investors.. I don't know ask whomever posted it. Thank you.
Agree emit. If Baltia has half the integrity of Marvel's management we should have a PR, we can't stay in limbo.
Wow, our first institutional investor that we know about, it's huge discovery. Thank you both for putting that on the board! Great research.
I am up late Robodog, just saw the video of the slide. That is why Baltia should get a yes on their mini. How many planes flying 1000's and if BF Goodrich did all those slides there's an absolute chance of some slide malfunction.
At the same time, we're really lucky that flying is safe; so we don't know how long the same slide has been packed on an aircraft.
Baltia has so much upside potential and I'm happy for them to be able to begin proving flights ASAP.
I read a novel called "Airframe"... about the flaps on the wings accidentally deploying which apparently can start a nose dive with the plane, in the novel it explains how that little box used to not have a cover on it and a pilot could accidentally trigger those flaps on the wings of the plane..and then the industry decided it was safer to put a cover on it to be more safe. It's a really good read...a novel...but educational.
Position: long and strong buy
I am trying to figure out how to buy more shares at these prices because I believe they did pass the mini...
There could be all kinds of planes in the sky with a faulty slide. At least the passengers get to the point where the slides are necessary. I'm certain that the crew has a protocol in place if something like that happened. Some people would jump anyways. IMO
Do all the other air line companies have to test their slides each time or does the FAA just assume the slides are fine because they got their Air Carrier Certificate.
So this issue with the vendor is pending and on top of that we have a more difficult certification process, a 121 cert. BF Goodrich should be held accountable for that slide..IMO, Baltia didn't make the slide, a vendor made the slide. Thank you for taking the time to post your opinions for those of us who don't understand the process.
testing2, thank you and Carsmax177 eom.
Carsmax177, I cant find North American Airlines on that page, it looks like a translated page from Russian to English.
Where do I need to type North American Airlines on that page please. I would like to see it with my own eyes.
