WattUp recently improved and FCC approved near field charging system similar power delivery as Qi but better for reasons you described (placement relationship to pad) so it would be reasonable to assume iPhone could have that tech then adapt to Mid and Far when FCC approved. No hardware change. Simply software upgrade.
Sensible.
Andy's apparently out there spreading the word. Need buyers. Need volume. Long term play
Nice buy volume today. Let's see how session ends.
Even though Andy hypes SpacePOP based on YouTube views I still find the property second rate. I also don't see the movie theater viewing as something that will do well considering how unknown the property is. At this early stage.
That said Llama Llama should be a hit. It's a great children's book and millions of readers already know this. Throw in Jennifer Gardner as the voice and quality animation it should/will succeed. SpacePOP is a ground up project and again, think the quality lacking.
Rainbow Rangers is another ground up project but seems the market lacks a current (hit) property in that area and with the lineup of creative and production talent is slated to be well received and successful. That said it will take time.
More patience required.
Rick. I too was confused why Andy didn't have the CFO there to answer questions. He should have had her there. Made him look like a rookie.
I was also confused by the dismal retail sales numbers in the 10-Q, thinking Space Pop revenue should have boosted that metric. BUT, did you hear Andy say something about the Space Pop revenue NOT recording (none of it) in Q1 due to the fact the series had not been completed? If that's the case it's "deferred" revenue which Andy alluded to increasing Q over Q and continuing to grow thru end of year.
Do you hear that on the call too?
Elliott. Thoughts on the 10-Q?
Was a great CC. Rizzone ordered by Tier 1 to "go dark" until Q4 has Apple written all over it. Coincidence that new Apple products go on sale to public around that time?
Market forward thinking.
Hockey stick trajectory begins
Tim Cook is looking to create a zero net energy or carbon neutral manufacturing ecosystem at Apple. He's mentioned it before.
I wouldn't be surprised if Apple was the visitor trying to determine how Aqua Metals could be part of this system and part of their team.
Seems logical to me.
Good luck to you and all longs.
DK
Nice find King Trader. That's huge inflow of institutional buying with nil outflow.
Very bullish signal.
Enough cash until Q3 2018 leaves a lot of time for positioning this company for sale.
Highly likely and would go so far to say eminent in that period
Good luck all longs
DK
Very helpful. Thank you.
King. In layman terms what does that mean? Positive or negative for longs?
Thx in advance
Love them tweets from AQMS CEO. Good stuff.
Shorts on borrowed time.
Annual premium. Also some brokerages have lending programs where shareholders can collect some of that premium for themselves. Sim to a dividend, taxed as ordinary income.
Also correction. Short interest closer to 21% not 31%. Regardless. Many shorts with motive to distort.
KingYrader. You got your $18. And then some. Congrats
31% short interest. plus 14% borrow rate raises stakes for shorts to act. This is what they do. Create fear and panic through distortions and half truths. Quite clever actually.
Picked up another 500 shares at cost av 15.51.
Patience and perseverance will prevail. Good things happening for AQMS. Looking forward to upcoming conf call.
Seeking Alpha short article creating fear and panic. Buying opportunity. Good luck longs
True.
So more patience required as story and company develop. Q1 results will give color on initial retail sales of Dec merchandise keeping in mind it's just at its infancy (only one of three months of Q since SpacePOP product launched early Dec).
It's good to see Genius Brands included with significant players in the space.
Article:
TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 4, 2017) - Premier Holding Corporation ( OTCQB : PRHL ) announces that it has signed agreements with Coral Sustainability Services, LLC of California and EGW Enterprises of Colorado to generate sales and help grow their business through its subsidiary, Energy Efficiency Experts (E3).
Coral Sustainable Services' rolodex of relationships and introduction capabilities include government officials, executives at major corporations, and others. Their experience in greentech, wellness, and sustainability has been forged through a deep passion for these issues and a commitment to making a difference in the world in improving people's lives and the natural environment.
Bronwyn Jones, CEO of Coral Sustainable Services, LLC said: "Sustainability Partners has a niche on the green building Market that building owners would be smart to take advantage of. Their modern offering to green retrofit large facilities to be energy efficient at no initial cost to the owner and then manage the future maintenance of the building or development is something that is very innovative and attractive to many owners and decision-makers who simply don't have the funding, the time or the knowledge to do it themselves." She adds: "We work with developers and building owners to fulfill our collective mission to safely and effectively modernize facilities to be green and energy efficient not only for the energy savings but for the direct benefit of our planet."
The principles of EGW Enterprises have extensive relationships with large hospital organizations, medical associations, non-profits, commercial property owners, municipal entities, universities, colleges and other organizations seeking energy solutions. They have already opened communications with a large hospital organization, municipalities, developers and a well-known beverage company. Charles L Gamber, Principal at EGW says: "I am very excited to bring our network and relationships to Premier Holding Corporation, Energy Efficiency Experts and ultimately, Sustainability Partners for all of their energy solutions. We look forward to providing our network and relationships to enhance PHRL's growth and market penetration."
As previously reported, Sustainability Partners has an industry-disrupting alternative to the painful cycle of RFI, RFP, budgeting, financing, bond, taxes, rental, PPA's, leases and shared savings arrangements. Their model provides sustainability in a similar fashion as utility companies provide power... on a month-to-month service agreement.
SP pays for 100% of materials and installation while continually providing maintenance, upgrades, and eventual replacements as newer, better technology arrives. This simple, utility-structured SaaS® agreement gives customers high impact solutions with no cash outlay, no institutional guarantees, and no security interests or collateral, thereby strengthening the clients financials by reducing debt, reserves and operating costs on a continuing basis.
President and CEO of Premier, Randall Letcavage adds: "We continue to add impressive strategic partners into E3 to help grow our business for Sustainability Partners. These two companies fit our model perfectly for their existing client base and their geographic reach. Our growing network of lead generators will help us tremendously to spread the word on SP's innovative model."
More good news today. Business is growing and expanding with two new partners.
Nice find Rick. Appreciate the post.
Seems it was a very positive review.
Concerning she'd "never heard of it" (SpacePOP) as this speaks to shortfalls of the Company's marketing IMHO.
Regardless seems it was very well received and then distributed amongst friends. May take time for word to spread.
Of course you think it is Ben Lurkin. Of course you do. What do they say about the "smartest" guy in the room?
The truth will be revealed in time.
No point wasting any more of it.
It's a dumbed down explanation of the science. But it's accurate.
And clearly written to speak to those not familiar with evaporative cooling, and the forces that type of cooling effect can create.
But I'm sure that's not enough and you'll continue to speculate it's bad science and a fraud.
Ben Lurkin. Not Ken.
Also read last part of report and supports why recently heard talks continue about building one in Mid East. Not sure if same ongoing discussion from 2014 announcement or new.
There's a reason Ron and sons have been buying shares (2+ B at .0001 see SEC filings). Why put a single dime back in this if it's a scam? They would just let it die and walk away.
But they continue to try and move it forward. Albeit to the erosion of shareholder (and their own holdings') value.
That's pretty funny Ben. But it's not a scam.
Good luck to you though.
It's been proven effective through extensive computer modeling at a university that I know. It's the only way to test the project because of its scale.
Again. It's a long shot for reasons that are not about the science. And it's not a scam.
But I'm smart enough to know folks will continue to claim it is, because why? goodwill? No point in trying to argue scam or no scam on an investor message board. Fruitless.
Just sharing what I know about facts.
Do what you will with them.
I know people close to Ron. It's absolutely not a scam.
Is it a long shot and has it been painful for shareholders because the funding to push the concept to fruition has been challenging? Absolutely
But it's not a scam
Just sharing information I have with investors
Picked up some 3s today. Caught word Ron is progressing talks on Middle East site and have run computer models analyzing its effective operation.
Make no mistake it's a lotto ticket (not an investment) and admittedly has taken way longer than expected to inch forward, but it's moving. Albeit now with a new five year plan.
However with any positive real news this moves back to $100M market cap area like it did at first AZ site announcement. Unfortunately it was $.03 at the time (remember those days?). Massive dilution since to keep the pursuit alive has destroyed shareholder value. Obviously.
Good luck all. Key term "luck"
The company has a habit of not releasing a lot of news which is frustrating. Does not help being quiet. Share price slipping on low volume and high amount of shares held short. Might get news just before earnings. They did that last time with Dialog announcement. Earnings is 3/8.
Elliot. Thank you for your continued informative posts.
Nice find Rick on Stone Newman. Thanks for sharing.
On low volume
True. Saw the press release.
But oddly the stock sold off on the news with high volume.
Thoughts on that?
Moxa,
Rex Dwyer (aka Richard x Roe) is a short seller trying very hard to discredit the company, scare shareholders into selling their positions for his own personal gain and the profit of his clients. Do some DD on Rex.
His early background is EE at Berkeley turn day trader in the dot com bubble days (late 90s). So he talks just enough RF tech talk to sound credible, but in fact are distortions of the truth.
Don't be fooled.
He's a fraud.
Moxa,
FCC approval for WattUp Mid is not an "if" scenario but "when". Energous CEO was clear in recent statements about that. They believe they have a clear path to FCC regulatory approval.
They may have been overly optimistic with deadlines in the past but that has been their only misstep one could hold against them.
Developing a disruptive tech that nobody on the market is close to achieving is challenging. But they've consistently met those challenges. And ultimately I choose to believe someone that knows the behind the scenes workings of the company with a fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders. Not a JPM analyst that issues soft hit pieces on options expiration day.
It's just a matter of when. No dice necessary.
JPM "report" was thinly veiled hit piece. It said nothing in definite terms nor did it have any clear evidence of anything for or against Energous. Frankly more of Broadcom promo. Speculative.
Also extremely suspicious considering options expired today.
Elliot. Agreed.
But today we're seeing .075. Currently. Haven't seen .075 in some time. Ceiling breaking.
Good luck to you.
More on Pudzer.
Rust Belt factory workers second. Robots first. This is the type of Labor Secretary "leadership" that would have brought back American jobs??
Oh. And he allegedly physically abused his wife. Class act. Good choice Donald. Glad you consider your nominees carefully.
Or do you?
"CEO of Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s fast food chains, Puzder’s embattled nomination had suffered from revelations that he employed an undocumented worker, numerous wage and hour violations at his company’s franchise locations, and allegations he physically abused his ex-wife.
Puzder had received criticism from the left for his opposition to raising the federal minimum wage and an Obama-era rule raising the overtime threshold. He has spoken in favor of automation, saying robots “always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there’s never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex, or race discrimination case,” and has spoken disdainfully of his chain’s workers, calling them “the best of the worst.”"
Clearsign will overcome this Administration as it focuses on what it does best. Something GOOD for the environment GOOD for the health of the Public and GOOD for the businesses using Clearsign tech that reduces operating energy costs while adding to the bottom line.
Win. Win. Win.
Good luck all CLIR longs.
