The world will need gigatons of the stuff!
Outdoor will never have the same quality as indoor, plain and simple.
Outdoor will get flooded with product and will be sold all around for extremely cheap. Additionally, entire crops can get nixed due to bad weather and mold.
Indoor grown bud and quality hash will remain the most valuable.
Sort of how it is now. You have 'mids' sold on the black market which is almost always outdoor grown cheap stuff with a mild effect. Then you have your 'chronic' type bud that is sold at high prices due to the stronger effect, better taste, bag appeal and smoke of the product.
Between outdoor and indoor- one will never take over the other.
Just common thoughts. Financials are one of the biggest 'sell on the news' releases even if they're better than expected.
If you recall, last dip on financials was extremely short lived.
You guys keep your sniper scopes on the pps. Just don't forget to flip the safety off.
Huh?
All this is just communication. It will probably reinforce pps at these levels.
People have been shouting for months for gift news, here is one of the first announcements.
Wouldn't be surprised if we go higher today, but we'll usually have a big push from news first thing, then it will slide down - gaps will be closed - followed by ensuing positive uptrends.
Have you not been watching this one very long?
So, I haven't been keeping up with fitx news lately.
Please advise why pps is tanking.
Thanks so much
Sort of reminds me of watching Fox News.
President does something good? No! It's really terrible!!!
Here's a good analogy for you.
Jimmy wants chocolate ice cream so his mom hands him an ice cream cone with chocolate ice cream on it. Jimmy bats it away saying, "No! I wanted vanilla!"
The cycle continues.
Haha - comical brilliance.
So much blah blah blah about 'phot is worthless without fitx'.
Like people have never seen more than one business deal, sheesh!
Eventually the argument is going to be without these 10-15 other companies phot is nothing, massive dilution, blah blah fat diluted pig. Insert juvenile fear mongering here.
Greens, thank you, Ziggy and the rest who responded.
Things are looking up, nothing wrong with a little lobbying to help out the bottom line.
I hope a key position can be grasped for Trtc to shine brightly after acquiring this license.
Wondering where the "GIFT is dead in the water" people are at this time.
Well the good news is without fitx, the door does not close. I believe phot is gearing towards supplying larger growers and focusing less on the smaller private grower. I do not expect
Fitx was one of the first Mj stocks ever recommended to me in 2013 and I turned it away at sub dime prices believing it would never go anywhere and chaaban was being ridiculed for not communicating with shareholders enough.
Do I ever wish I'd have bought several million shares at those prices!
Bill has actually done, better than expected.
Now back to phot. Those shares are ammunition. While most of the stockpile will be stored away, they'll have power to join and acquire other large providers.
If this fitx thing works out though, it'd be ingenious. Diverting from the slow process of American legalization and into a federally accepted environment with our little brother country above us. This is an awesome shortcut if the federal government doesn't open up to legal Mj in the next two years.
Now what I think is that phot has all these shares just in case of a mass opening and acceptance for Mj on an American federal scale. Think about it, the increase is done, nothing catastrophic is happening, we're in a holding pattern. Banks are just beginning to be allowed to open accounts for Mj shops. 2014 could be pivotal.
Since these will be limited, what does everyone think the % chance is that trtc qualifies?
I'm looking for realistic answers and hoping the consensus is the shot is more than 50/50.
Two more points.
The stock you mentioned with the large run (mjn#) is more a stock newcomers will buy before doing their DD. Once investors review the company and the surrounding issues, they dump and head on to the more stable Mj stocks such as PHOT.
Also, we are seeing an international scale of movement here. It's not just that some states in the USA are opening doors, it's that the world views of cannabis are changing rapidly. USA moving forward will influence more countries to do the same. Have you read up on Uruguay, Portugal and Canada?
Safe to say things are moving a bit faster for the Mj movement this year.
It is also the first year of recreational legalization - and in Colorado it is proving a success. I expect more of a lull between now and June due to WA state about to come online.
In June, we can expect a whole lot of reporting. The Feds and other states may make announcements in between now and summer which will keep the industry energized.
It's always good to refer to the history books, but the movement has gone from baby steps to power walking this year. I can't imagine what happens when we see full sprint.
The last 2 years are not a good way to gauge how this year will pan out IMO.
Soil - organic or regular. Dozens of ways to mix this and different materials used to cut the soil to cause more air between roots. You'll have to decide what to amend your soil with. Fox farm ocean forest is one of my favorites as a set and forget soil, but it still needs to be cut with a healthy dose of perlite. Ocean forest can sometimes run a bit 'hot' nutrient wise as well.
Then you also will decide whether you want breathable pots, I use smart pots. Saw they have a hemp brand now available as well. I prefer air pruning pots versus regular pots which can cause a plant to become root bound.
Hydro - multiple different ways a hydro setup can done. I prefer dwc (deep water culture) for the straightforward operation. There is a large variety of hydro methods and mediums. Rock wool, hydroton, pebbles, etc. then do you want to go organic hydro? Or synthetic soluble?
Aero - like hydro, Very similar besides the way in which water is sprayed intermittently to roots versus having oxygenated water bubbling or ebbing about. Aero works well for cloning as well.
Coco - fibrous material used in drip systems. Dries out quickly and can be amended. Usually on drip systems that drip several times daily.
Perlite/vermiculite mixes - similarly used in drip systems.
Cloning medium - jiffy pellets, soil plugs, rapid rooters, etc.
I can agree with that. Esp. Compared to fitx where the CEO makes Facebook posts about the company (sometimes a bit overboard IMO).
Historically PHOT's revs have been up quarter for quarter. Q4 has potential to show positive cash flow, but I don't expect to see that yet.
And last earnings release they held the big news for right after. They may play a similar strategy this time as well, which will make march a fairly boring month.
If revs come out and we see very minimal cash flow loss compared to last quarter, or the very unlikely scenario of cash flow positive... Then the financials may provide a boost. Regardless, I think we see a dip at revenues followed by some big announcements.
See also: fitx, fspm, any of their retail stores.
I expect biggest revenue from online sales as I was converted to greners.com long ago by fellow growers.
But let's see what happens with earnings. I believe even last year they were starting to ramp up on earnings although overall money lost.
Still, the growth per quarter is there and has been increasing.
They also cut out some fat and did away with sg sensors.
So?
Same thing was said with previous earnings release. Shortly after the dip of previous earnings, we saw new and unexpected highs.
You don't think they'd keep an ace up the sleeve to combat a possible drop after earnings like last time?
I'm just going off the history here.
There are many more reasons to trust them than to distrust.
If I saw the pps of my company consolidating at 52 week highs then I'd probably hold onto my news until the time is right.
FYI there has been news and obviously one big contract already solidified. A bit misleading to claim nothing has been done. This is America though - and Americans traditionally lack patience.
No it's not. That's exactly why I think you should do more dd.
Every grower knows they can get a HID light at a store like that, along with crappy soil with time release fertilizer that is not meant for Mj growth.
Growers who seek high quality yields are not going to go through Rewiring a Home Depot HID light (maximum bulb wattage sold there is 400watts btw), and jerry rigging a hood.
experienced growers won't use the crap commercial soil loaded with all those bits of bark and time release ferts either.
If this is really your perspective, all the more reason you should frequent cannabis grow communities like icmag. Fortunately, this kind of knowledge is my expertise.
If you think it's all light bulbs and soil then you lack clear knowledge on the industry and shouldn't be making assumptions based on a lack of knowledge.
Well thanks to this downturn, RIGH is now the only Mj stock I have that has lost me any money.
Of course timing and will to take profits play a role as well. I take the blame for not selling at highs or knowing what the highs were.
Still, I don't understand why the recent bomb downwards? Righ has a seemingly good service to offer the industry.
Is there trouble in paradise?
Surely the next seeking alpha article will read something like this:
PHOT - expanding like the Roman Empire and doomed to fail.
Then we'll see:
PHOT - the only powerhouse in the Mj market.
Followed by:
PHOT - what did they do with all those shares?
And the world keeps on spinning.
If Phot continues the move upwards I'll not only be able to come meet some of you, but pay out monkey13 in spades as well!
Or is that bananas? Well I'll send him some cash and he can do what he wants with it haha.
You guys may like this article -
I've been looking at setup in Colorado albeit they're one of the most flooded at this time. Answers a lot of questions such as if a list of Mj purchasers can be given to the federal govt.

Holding, but unimpressed with the recent action regardless.
Señor, thank you.
This is more the type of reassurance I was looking for.
Of course with many companies we take a leap of faith. I tire of evaluating in and out of companies I know are geared specifically for Mj versus those who *may* one day enter the market. I honestly don't want Trtc to be a play where we are constantly halted by hurdles into the market.
Of course I have a small hold here, there is too much respect between myself and fellow investors in the few big Mj plays. One thing is interesting about Trtc though - and that is they are able to be considered a big Mj player before the curtains have raised. If they succeed and public sentiment remains positive then they could very well corner the market in entire cities. I always want to see more.
I absolutely wish I could be paid for raising important questions.
I will say that asking tough questions is a big step above what cbd potential posted about on the ph#t boards the other day.
No one is the least bit curious what Mj side their Mj stock will be fully involved in?
I'm well aware of the skill requires to grow quality cannabis on a large and small scale. Skills are easily purchased.
I'm just a little concerned because it seems a bit of a seesaw with supporters.
Critical of trtc's Mj involvement? Well they have edible garden!
Critical of trtc's edible garden? Well they're involved with Mj!
But they aren't yet and I want more comfort and confirmation that their Mj involvement will prosper and not be overshadowed.
For instance I visited California to see if it would be worthwhile to set up grow operations there. By the time my exploration was up, my partners and I decided California had already established enough competition, driven prices down far enough and had too high cost of operation to give us the profit something like a state on the edge of legalizing could offer.
So, I'd like more from Trtc, even a brief mention of the strains they plan to use would suffice.
Haha wonder why he didn't mention phot? Had to cover Timmy?
E.G. Is why I still hold this stock.
I have absolutely no idea where they're headed in the Mj field other than CBD related production that hasn't yet started.
I need more of a timeline from them, or perhaps the state of Nevada in regards to whether Trtc gets licensed or not.
It's all well and good to have effective infrastructure, but there are such things called opportunity costs and every day broadcasting yourself as an Mj company without having your hands in it is a wasted opportunity cost IMO.
Good point, I just want to see Trtc diving in sooner than later.
Seems the way things are going that many states will be growing for themselves. It won't be long before grower profit margins come down across the USA and the most profitable growers stay at the time with most quantity and quality.
The more growers in the game, the harder it will be to make our mark with Trtc. C'mon Nevada!
As a fellow investor I invested in the current business model (edible garden) with high hope that a large amount of space would promptly be set up for hydroponic Mj growing once their Mj plans are sorted.
Perhaps it's up to the state whether trtc's license request stagnates or not, but we can't forget about that potential.
It's a great company regardless of where the wind takes them, but my concern is the ease of big money being able to set up large hydroponic grow warehouses and us investors witnessing a company that overshadows and devalues Trtc.
I absolutely hope this doesn't happen, but I want to prepare myself in case it does.
I'm curious how Trtc will position themselves in the Mj industry.
It seems with all this hype that the window to fully legitimize as an Mj company is tightening.
Yes there was a formal announcement, but wheels need to be turning here. Best to be first to the party than last and with all the Mj companies springing up lately, Trtc needs to hit the overdrive button on the Mj progress.
Specifically how much of Trtc will be devoted strictly to Mj % wise and how much will retain space for edible gardens.
Do we know the status on the NV license at this time? Can't let that one stagnate either.
Well said, any stocks just riding the Mj wave on pure hearsay that they will someday be an Mj company will be dusted by those who have played major roles for years already.
Bet against us? Not so fast.
Not the other way around? Phot supplying Trtc? It would be weird a hydro growth company supplying a supplier?
Sincerely agree with this statement. Couldn't have said it better.
Civility and intelligence.
Reality is not a strong suit here.
Confirmed, most pot stocks were red today.
Attorneys handling sensitive legal information is a negative?
Tell me more.
Good show of strength today. Many closed red, we did not.
Side note about these boards - there is a fine line between bashing and trolling. I urge anyone in support of this company to engage those people in an intelligent manner or not at all.
By stating intelligent points, you may draw more intelligence from any negative poster that could get you thinking. Ultimately however, you will force their argument into an emergency landing into the Bermuda Triangle where you will never receive a response.
I can't tell you guys how much time I've wasted doing that, but best of luck to all fighting the good fight!
Phot and proud.
Well?
