You're going to make a lot of people cranky with those words.
Think of NETFLIX......all it was, was a mail in DVD company....but those that held for 10 years, reaped
an amazing reward....but few did....because they could not see the future....no one could...
that's the same way we are....but to a lesser degree.
Nice post. I guess you're more positive today.
About the "how long". Well, if you're just looking at the PPS, at some point it went to 6 cents...
and then went to 40 cents...That's about a 700% increase. But not everybody got in at 6 cents...
The question is how much percentage gain are you looking for??
Check out the HUGE gainers...as I have posted before...AMAZON, GOOGLE, NETFLIX, TESLA, and look at their charts and see how long it took for them to reach the heights they are at now. Some its been
TEN YEARS. Time does fly. And all along those ten years, people have been jumping in and out of the stock. And no one knew where the companies were headed....MANY guessed wrong....on the upside.
So yes, lots of us have been holding this stock a long time....but it also has been going through drastic changes...just like the ones I listed......so we're not that much out of the situation....
Also, its a penny stock..we don't have to wait for LQMT to go over 100, or 200. Most here will be out
if it went to $2. And then it could go to $4, thus some leaving hundreds of thousands of dollars
on the table....
What got me was the subject of tuning forks. I remember that subject way back during Steipp.
That's why I asked about the date.
I know what he said, but he seems to be the only one that got such e-mail. It does not make sense.
Where is the date on this? It sounds like old old old old news??
I just did.
Good Grief...
121,000 buys and 1,052,000 sells....considering how much LQMT fell, how is that possible....
and what IS going on.
Also, some try to confuse.......its been a very strange couple of weeks as far as posts.
We got an executive blog, but that didn't help some.. Well, it helped me. Especially Haucks comment
on the items/samples they were making NOW.
It wasn't a dream list....it was a definite samples list now being developed.
Welcome back.
Have you read the theory that the moon may be hollow?? This is from NASA. They crashed two modules into it, with sensors on the surface of the moon. Both times the moon "rang like a bell".
The larger module rang much longer....also, the impacts on the moon are very shallow which is also strange...if it was hit by meteors....plus its position...in the exact spot to create perfect eclipses....
which to many beats all laws of probability. Hard to accept it was just a coincidence...
Very good find. Two weeks ago I was thinking of "gears", and I believe its on the Houck Executive Blog.....I checked failure rates and even thought about robots....and all the gears in those...
and here you find exactly that. And for space missions. I dont remember anyone posting the article.
Robots are showing up everywhere and there is no stopping them.
Yes. I don't know how many individual investors are in LQMT. But whomever is in it, we all seem to be waiting for good news and few want to release any shares.
But a seller isn't taking it down hard today, nor yesterday. That should mean even more.
We are in the "BITCOIN" of the Small Caps.
Love the optimism. I need it this morning.
I just watched Curse of Oak Island..a series on History Channel....they seem to be getting close
to solving the mystery and finding the treasure.......
Sounds so much like LQMT.
Hmm.....Car Panels?? Will this come under the CIP?
Quite a load of information.....well done...
I agree. I thought Haucks Blog was great.
I explained twice about the pressure gauge to you and how it could be much more than a sample.
That they must have made it to spec, but you didn't seem to get what I was trying to say....which
I thought strange because you have posted some in depth posts before. What I said was not over your head, but somewhat positive to the stock price. Then I remembered you said several times that
you had planned on buying more if the PPS fell. Then it all became quite clear to me.
I can't see a tire pressure sensor development being a long time away from now.
This isn't Steipp who had no money for any kind of development....the technology for the tire sensor
is developed....they aren't starting from scratch. And the medical device and gears are the same way.
Not sure if you got what I was getting at. Just one example, the pressure sensors.....they are making samples of them...and I would imagine those sensors are made to spec for the automotive industry....
so its not really a sample of what they can do....its a product example that they want to sell.
The same for the other items. They have to be going after specific companies with the tire sensor.
And he's making them....MAKING....not "oh wouldn't it be nice in the future."...but making them now...
to gain a contract.
I can't make it any more clearer than I'm trying to. Unless you just don't want to understand.
I want to post this section of the Executive Blog by Hauck so it doesn't get lost in the fog.
In the segment below they list FOUR SAMPLES, UNDER DEVELOPMENT NOW !!! GET IT??
This isn't a STEIPP DREAM LIST...Li is MAKING SAMPLES OF THESE THINGS NOW. OKAY?
MAKING THEM NOW !!!!! PRODUCING THEM !!!! OUT OF LIQUID METAL !!!! OKAY???
And at the top of the list is an AUTOMOTIVE PRESSURE SENSOR !!!!! That used to be on the STEIPP DREAM SHEET...NOW IT WILL BE A SAMPLE REALITY...OKAY??? And if that PRESSURE SENSOR is accepted by just ONE AUTO MAKER....THEY WILL ALL BE BUYING IT..OKAY??!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2018 is the year Liquidmetal is making that possible—bridging the gap in client’s minds between the unknown and known. We currently have 12 projects underway to develop industry and/or function-specific product samples that highlight Liquidmetal advantages such as elasticity, precision and durability in a way that potential clients can relate to their businesses. Samples under development include:
Automotive pressure sensor
Hot-forming sample that combines two amorphous metal parts
Custom gear application
Medical samples such as a cardiac rhythm device and orthopedic bones plates
These samples will demonstrate that Liquidmetal isn’t a process reserved for the distant future. It’s for innovators who are ready to take action and get ahead of the competition today.
I'm back from the new STAR WARS movie....My review....I can't give one....I walked out on it
when it was half over. Its day has come and gone.
Was almost as boring as watching the ticker quotes on LQMT...
I sold 20% of mine a few months ago. Nice to have the KACHING in the bank....
I'm thinking of cashing in some of my $100 Million in BitCoins and buying more LQMT...
decisions decisions....
So as I head out to the gym. Looking over Haucks list on his blog....I would think the item at the top of their list would be the tire pressure sensor....a basic design, one size fits all, and potential sales in the millions....and the funds to make it and then sell it. That will not fall under the 18-24 month schedule.
That will be immediate...I would imagine design drawings are already done...
Hows that for an uplifting post..Hmmm???
Have a good day...now I gotta go pump iron.
Well, this morning I changed my ignore list....so I think it will be reasonably decent to come read a few posts...
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE....
I wish you had sold all your shares...
SELL SELL SELL SELL SELLL.....OH THE HUMANITY...SELLLLLLLLLLL
What's changed?? They are getting a machine in March that can make bigger pieces, which was probably the big hold back for all the RFQ's that came in. Then it seems they will go back to those potential customers....and make proposals for bigger pieces at a lower price....
Thank you for your support.
Eagle, if its something like the Pressure sensor...it won't be sold to one buyer...in my opinion...its like
an air bag...Many car manufacturers bought the same air bag from the same manufacturer.....I think Li
is taking a different road than Steipp.....he's making a product to sell to many...but also looking for contracts for specific items.....that's covering two bases at least...
Steipp didn't have the people or the money to do anything...Li has it all.
So, feel free to get a little excited about that possibility.
About the tire pressure gauges......if they are making some....it has to be to specs that are now used....
and from what I understand, tire gauges are a big problem with failures.....and they may even come from
just one or two sources......
How many would be needed for just say Ford??
I'm sticking with that and the med device...that I feel must also be designed for use....so Li is making
product to sell. Steipp just had a "list" of possible uses for LQMT...Li is actually making some that can
be sold. Maybe its just a good day for me, but I'm a wee bit excited about the list that Hauck put up.
All items that can be made in advance and sold to many buyers...
I hate seeing the 18-28 months....that was STEPPS estimate......and I thought it outrageous......
and later he backed way down on that estimate....Perhaps if it was something designed from scratch...ok, but many things will be made that are already designed. All dimensions figured,
the only difference is it will be LiquidMetal.
I'm going to keep my scenario that the items listed in Haucks Executive Blog are actually prototypes
for contracts. the Pressure Sensor will be huge. That list was a heads up to stockholders.
Well, I re read the blog and saw the "prototype" comment in a different light. They seem as I said, to be producing "prototypes" for shows....but these prototypes may be able to be sold to a mass market...
That seemed to go over everyones head, including mine, on the first read...I hope I am right.
So those so called prototypes for show, may be production prototypes....if one reads between the lines.
I hope tomorrows posts are a little more positive. We had an avalanche of negativity today....
Thank you.
So, hopefully my last post for today....
A little OPTIMISTIC NEWS for you. Just heard on a Business Discussion on TV....on what to expect
this year.......
One said that individual investors will come back into the market.....I had no idea they were still out
of the market, but considering the geopolitical atmosphere, and the continual Gold and Silver Hawkers
on TV, its understandable.....
And unfortunately its when the individual investors come pouring in that a market top is about to be reached....but perhaps not this time...
..its the individual investors that look for the BIG BONANZA play in a stock and its usually Small Cap that they go after.....that little jewel that has yet to be discovered......we are just the crazies that came in too early....
Anyway....that could be a bright light on the horizon...the small investor that drives up small caps...
OR it could be a locomotive heading for us....I thought I'd throw that in because I knew someone would.
Have a GREAT DAY and KEEP WARM....
So with the list of "samples" that Li/Hauck said they are going to produce for shows etc....
(its on the blog)...
and they listed specific items....can't we assume those items will be built to spec for certain car manufacturers, or medical equipment companies?
"First you build it and they will come". Why would they make "generalized items", when they can make
specific items to fit specific companies.
DO I YEAR AN "OH YEAH" out there??
STeipp had a list....but no money to make anything.....
Li is a different kettle of Sushi..
