Language from FDA website of GRAS piggyback: again imo CW will have one by time required and im guessing the best way it can be done like everything they do
1) FDA Responds to Three GRAS Notices for Hemp Seed-Derived Ingredients for Use in Human Food
2) The GRAS notices were submitted by Fresh Hemp Foods, Ltd. ( Manitoba Harvest ) an individual company like CVSI
3) FDA themselves said -> The GRAS conclusions can apply to ingredients from other companies, if they are manufactured in a way that is consistent with the notices and they meet the listed specifications.
So any company can piggyback a GRAS if manufactured in consistent way.

agree they could be as their CEO made point that hemp extract can be approved now imo
if Manitoba submits GRAS to FDA and its approved then anyone can piggyback it if they produce the same way. Also think CW will have GRAS by time its needed imo.
Not saying CV will have to change label but isn’t this the point CV CEO was making to the FDA ? That hemp extract has not been an ingredient in a drug, while CBD, in isolate form , has been an ingredient in a drug, and so it can be subject to the IND preclusion
My point exactly on hemp extract
Anyone read my last post ? Thoughts ?
Interesting comment / thread on Twitter ....it’s all about being hemp extract perhaps and that’s why CW switched it long ago?
With the FDA hearing on CBD, I'd be surprised if $CVSI can continue moving forward with "CBD" in their product titles. https://t.co/2GFNN8dGrg$CWEB $CWBHF & other top CBD brands have all switched to the terms "Hemp Extract" for their labels...@CV_Sciences $GWPH

To me CW biz plan never seemed to be dependent on CBD in foood and drinks
Awesome! Now we just need the Congress and stated to step in front of the FDA
Welcome back and hope recovery going well
ELLXF did a dilutive below market raise with market and CBD stocks in the tanks.
Great point
Great post. Upside bill case timeline is if congress acts for the FDA
great point as thee are over the counter supplements and medicines out there that if you took too much there will be negative effects. cant control how much someone takes of anything. thank you
do you see this as a threat for CBD in general because GW said negative side effects at that dose ? o will just limit daily recommended doses ?
Actually that’s where I was going. Same exact thought process.
Notice how they talked about CBD and nobody mentioned hemp extract ? Or am i wrong
I like CV and own it. Just tired of all the subtle back and forth trashing. Also to be honest I was out drinking. No offense intended. Have a good weekend
You are naive if you think CW won’t have one soon. I will say this about Manitoba ....it blows the entire pipe dream fallacy about CV ever having or being exclusive....”we will be the only one that is GRAS” ha laughing
This is best case scenario : Interestingly, Miller said his organization has been working with lawmakers in recent weeks to draft standalone legislation to regulate CBD if the FDA determines that the task is too complicated for the agency to complete on its own. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who led the charge on hemp legalization, previously suggested that further legislative action may be necessary to unlock the full potential of the hemp economy.

Exactly and also CW is working on listing to Nasdaq NYSE as aggressively as CV and others to clear up Jefra other false accusation. Also agree fda meeting biggest concern right now
Great post
what i have said recently is expect many others to attain it well before FDA requires it if they do . then it all comes down to branding and marketing and strategic moves
like i have said CV is and will do super well because of branding and early mover. smart thing for all top 4 brands is partner with bigger company imo.
expect ELLXF and CWBHF and YCBD to get self affirmed GRAS soon as well as well as many others
this why CBD weak perhaps - Acting FDA chief says regulators don't know much about CBD despite 'explosion of interest' https://cnb.cx/2W34sPJ

CVSI is no longer the only self affirmed GRAS - expect many others to follow they are in the works

You may be correct but Congress is our ace in the whole . It’s a farmer issue now and farmers getting hurt as it is
And I’m long all 4 CBD Co’s
They are not three steps ahead . Know the competition. We can agree to disagree and we shall all find out in due time.
Why would anyone believe that ? CV doesn’t even have cash on hand for .18 dividend . But it’s misinformation so I get your post my friend .
Other CBD stocks not exactly lighting world on fire are they ?
with liquidity on TSX and right news perhaps big short squeeze
CWEB has 1.4 million shares short on the CSE as of 5/22 and 396k short on the OTCBB as of 5/15
http://www.iiroc.ca/industry/marketmonitoringanalysis/Pages/consolidated-short-position-report.aspx
https://www.otcmarkets.com/market-activity/short-interest-data
yes i kind of fell they wanted to get on TSX before releasing strategic moves
I know for a fact other competitors are in process of GRAS .
.18 cents on approx 95m shares o/s like 17m cash ?
