Bankruptcy court likes all common shares.
Hard for those judges to anything but simple math. You know... elected officials and all.
Just sayin...
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyl!
First the website. Next the company.
Last post ever for me.
Done with posting here. It is a joke.
Can't wait to be done with this company.
PERSPECTIVE IS EVERYTHING.
And the inability to do such a basic function like keep a website up shows the lack of ability of our management. Period.
"Ignore the man behind the curtain... he is meaningless!"
If you want to stop some useless noise, stop posting.
This is NOT a web commerce company, and service providers do go down from time to time.
If it were a much larger company with full time web development staff, they might possibly deal with this slightly faster. But it’s ludicrous to suggest this has anything at all to do with their core current focus or competence at keeping actual important and necessary aspects of a still early stage biotech in FDA trials.
The noise on this is just more nonsense and noise. Noise is not worth anyone’s time.
It is a basic management task....
To keep a website up... especially when there is only one or two updates A YEAR!!!
If you think the website doesn't matter, then I guess paying the phone bill or the electric payment doesn't either.
Of course for all we know Linda and Les are sitting there in their offices in the dark unable to call out to their IT people because they forgot to pay those bills too.
If anyone thinks in today's day and age that a website is meaningless you are wearing rose colored glasses. My dog has her own website. Geez. A leading bio-tech can't keep there's up?
This management is inept and should be replaced. The sooner the better.
Are you guys serious? You are still talking about the website? Do you literally have nothing else to do with your lives?
Their website is purely informational. They don't conduct transactions, do business, or rely on it for anything other than to post information about the company that most of the people here haven't even read. So who cares?
NWBO website still down.
Not like I was expecting a press release or news or anything.
Heard a rumor that Les and Linda are on their way to Bali after the offices in Bethesda burned down. Anyone nearby who can confirm or deny?
I doubt the outage in Virginia is disrupting Bethesda, it is a localized outage.
I may joke, but it is odd no one seems concerned about this or they label it as "Fake News". Huh.
Feel free... try it yourself. https://www.nwbio.com/
Doesn't mean the site wasn't down.
Are you their IT guy? I already know their hired IT guy sucks. As does the rest of management.
Nope -- Site is paid up for another couple of year
Nice Try - Fake News LOL
Huh. Would this include Sentiment_Stocks?
Anybody who has been compensated by the Company, either directly or indirectly (even with discounted shares), is in violation of not just IHUB policy but SEC regulations in regards to paid promotions.
JRIII's scenario is more likely.
Since they don't get updates monthly as you already know.
Unfortunately NO ONE knew about the spring refresh data until ASM this year because of the LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. This one key critical piece of information would have changed my investment logic. At no time did any of this information come out previously.
If you want to know the one thing that turned me against management of this company... THAT was it.
Keep your rose colored glasses on... keep believing all the BS that LesLIE tells you. GL.
Setting: Group assembles around conference table as Les Goldman passes out data packet.
Distinguished SAB Member 1: Hey, Les, this looks like the same data you passed out last time, except everyone has lived a month longer.
Distinguished SAB Member 2: Yeah, this is the same data, except everyone has lived a month longer.
LG: Well, the fact is, they just keep living longer.
Distinguished SAB Member 1: OK, then let's not recommend unblinding.
Distinguished SAB Member 2: I agree. It's not time to unblind.
LG: Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. The trial shall go on indefinitely until we at least reach 36 months from something - operation or enrollment. That way, the data from this trial will indeed prove, DCVax-L helps everyone to live longer.
Only to those that believe what they read on message boards and on twitter.
If you are using that for your due diligence without links or proof, I think you are getting what you deserve.
LaCurse is reckless and dangerous for investors.
I doubt Chris will sell in August.
And I doubt he will stay silent.
He is a really nice guy and I love his enthusiasm... although he knows as well as I do that it gets the better of him. lol
As far as reply? Eh, I don't need one. Its isn't that I am pessimistic about NWBO. I have become realistic. Lets call it what it is, not what we think it is or what we hope it may become.
I too had fallen love with this stock years ago. Many longs here have also. First rule of investing that I learned? Don't fall in love with a stock. Broke that one. Won't ever ever do it again. Some of the peeps on this board may want to give that a good long think whether they are being objective or whether they love this stock.
I wouldn't want to sell at $1.60 but I certainly would have to think about it. (just as a side note to others conversation)
Don't expect a reply DJ. I think people (Longs) just want some honesty. Since I invested in '16 there hasn't been honesty in this company. I averaged down and won't put another penny in this turd. I'll be happy to break even at .27. I don't see that in the near future. I'm more excited about Chris L selling his 1.2 million shares in August! We'll see if he's a man of his word or just like NWBO and stay silent.....
There is no comparison for these two CEO's.
I love how you wear rose colored glasses Senti when it comes to Linda and Les. They can do no wrong in your eyes.
IF NWBO shares go to a dollar then maybe there is some kind of success on the horizon. Still doesn't mean Linda is worth a billion dollars for the poor job she has done running this company. And don't even start me on LesLIE Goldman. Nothing that has ever come out of his mouth has even been close to the truth. If I had a nickle for every missed date that he has promised I would be doing better than my investment in this bioturd.
Arie Belldegrun received $610 million for his share of the Gilead purchase of Kite.
https://www.fiercepharma.com/pharma/kite-chief-arie-belldegrun-up-for-600m-plus-payday-from-gilead-buyout
His net worth is a billion now.
If NWBO's share goes up to a $1, it'll likely mean there appears to be some sort of success on the horizon. And that will mean that LP's efforts were starting to finally pay off.
Surely you don't believe a woman should be paid less than a man for doing a similar job like running a biotech company?
IMO Doubtful.
When good news is coming it is usually leaked and volume goes up before being announced.
NWBO investors want news. And in the absence of genuine news, they will listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone. They’re so thirsty for news, they’ll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there’s no water, they’ll drink the sand.
IMO we are indeed very close to (good) news. Volume has really dried up.
Sounds like you're asking him out on a date.
Flipper i miss your passion!! You play golf or tennis?
Doubtful on the short squeeze.
Same as a lawsuit against any short interest.
Same as Adam Feuerstein being investigated by the SEC.
Same as 2017 being our year.
All misinformation from our glorious VP LesLIE Goldman.
Big news in 4-6 weeks... and Free Beer Tomorrow! GO NWBO!
That would start the mother of all short squeezes, I was thinking about trying to start one today. Hmmmmmmmmm.
Bullshit. . . . . . .
Linda POWERS has lost 98% of equity.
We're not just watching the paint dry...
We're watching it rot and peel back from the moldy wood underneath.
The rot is attacking the already disgusting PPS.
SMH. Get me a bucket. They have yet to meet a promised timeline since I have been in this "investment" and that has been 7 &%^#@!)(&$# years.
LP may have meant coming weeks which are turning into months. Business deals are difficult to do and can take years. An efficacious DCVax-L will speed things up. In the meanwhile longs will be watching the paint dry, such as the interim blinded data, that took awhile to publish. IMO
Thanks TC. Hope all is well with you!
Hey, I don't consider 5'8" short!
I guess it is all in your perspective though.
BTW... I am pretty sure name calling is against the TOS.
Soon and very soon, shorty.
We're all rich! Where you been?
What's going on here folks? Are we near the finish line yet?
Thoughts on your thoughts CT

If they had any foresight at all they would have financed all they needed to get through this when the stock was at $12. They fully underestimated what small biotechs go through. If they were at all capable they would have known this.
No one could have seen that coming. They had their sugar daddy providing boatloads of cash and even investing at stock prices higher than where it was trading back then. Who could have guessed it was all a ploy to allow Katherine Wolf and Ondra to attempt to steal the technology. There was also no way to know in advance about false progression or the hold.
You have been hooked into this long enough to know there hasn't always been silence. Whether it is due to all the lawsuits or the FDA not allowing them to explain some of what is happening (e.g. the reason for the hold and why when lifted the additional patients all received DCVAX). We will hear all about this when approval occurs and will know the reason then. I suspect the silence will be well justified once explained.
You have completely lost me on this comment ? ? ?
I am not trying to be all rah rah. I am calling it like I see it. Sure we all would like to already have received approval and the stock price at $100 a share. That doesn't mean that was ever possible at this point in time and many other small biotechs have crashed and burned by now.
Nice spin on a .21 cent stock.
If they had any foresight at all they would have financed all they needed to get through this when the stock was at $12. They fully underestimated what small biotechs go through. If they were at all capable they would have known this.
No one in management had enough experience to prepare for what was about to happen. And that alone is why they should not be paid the big bucks. They have a great product but didn't know what to do with it. Hence all the silence when things started to go south.
Have you read any of the PR's prior to their silence? How about the approval in Switzerland? Go through the PR's on their website. How many of them actually deal with any science?
I have over 400k shares. I may be long, but I don't have to be happy about what has went on here and just be all rah rah rah...
Who is not doing well?
They have navigated through a fire storm of vicious attacks by powerful forces with huge resources and motivation to take them down and are still afloat.
They restructured the trial multiple times and effectively dealt with false progress, an FDA hold, dozen of bogus lawsuits, securing continued financing, etc . . .
The trial is taking far longer than any of us imagined or wanted but looks like it is on course for approval with eye popping Overall Survival stats.
Everyone should be raving about their management of these savage attacks that are preventing and delaying what appears to be effectively a cure for > 30% of the GBM patients is really unconscionable.
This will be a Harvard Business School case study some day on how a small bio start up successful gained approval when many others in this situation have failed in the past.
Say what you like. But if they were as altruistic as everyone would have you believe they would accept less in compensation. Certainly Linda and Les both are already wealthy.
The science may be great, but it is apparent they are less than mediocre management. Way less. In my mind when you don't do well, you don't get paid well or get let go.
What they are worth is in the eyes of the beholder, but, their salaries are not out of a range of the same positions in other biotech startups. One can point out whether they should sacrifice more give the financial situation,... But, the salaries are not unreasonable.
Perhaps if they were not so greedy with their own salaries they could afford to hire some people.
Personally, I don't think they are worth what they pay themselves. I think you will find many longs and shorts that agree.
Yes, Linda has actually said that she would love to hire people. I agree with you entirely, Senti. I think management has been strong and smart, and someday it will be proven, probably, hopefully soon.
It hasn't been PR'd because they failed to pay their IT guys and they don't know how to do it themselves.
Just sayin.
Linda and Les... always looking out for the best for their shareholders.
I agree...one would think PR would be appropriate...I suppose we should be cautiously optimistic...until we hear about next funding round.
Welcome to Happy Hour!!!

Actually many pharma companies would be interested.
Northwest owns many patents and IP that their competitors would love to get their hands on, let alone the recipe for the secret sauce.
You are judging a book by its cover. Open it up and read... read more than this board. They have an incredible amount to offer to an interested courtier.
Well... of course... as long as they don't take ANY of management with them.
Sale? Really? Who in their right mind would buy this company? Have you seen the balance sheet? Seriously, who would buy this company and why? How in the world would any corporate board agree to such a ridiculously outrageous move as purchasing Northwest Biotherapeutics? The company is way, way beyond broke and has no product. Seems like a really smart strategic move for some big pharma giant to drop billions on, right? Give me a break. Would you people please quit talking about a sale. There is nothing to sell.
Won't be long, though, before pretty much anyone will be able to buy a majority stake for a few hundred dollars.
Sounds like a sale is imminent.
Hopefully it is not a FIRE sale.
Haug v NWBO. www.nwbio.com/Stipulation%20of%20Settlement.pdf
Includes in Exhibit A:
Quote:
Northwest shall maintain the following corporate governance measures until the sooner
of (i) a period of at least three (3) years has passed from the time of their implementation as
documented in the minutes of the Company’s board of directors, or (ii) the date on which
Northwest shall have 25 or fewer beneficial owners of its common stock.
Hmmm ... does NWBO anticipate to possibly have 25 or fewer beneficial owners of its common stock ... perhaps in the next 3 years?
Linda's share price is actually locked in, so her timing does not matter.
I did , but I don’t now.
Me too.
I did , but I don’t now.
What we all dream of Basin.
This will set your endorphins rushing...
The story of Intercept and what we might expect with NWBO if the management actually deliver something that attracts real money investors.
I distinctly remember a poster on the other board called 'Etrade2000' who sold out his whole position after an 'insider sell' notice the week before if flew and i think these screen shots show most definitely that none of us know just what might be around the corner...
Couldn't have said it better.
I think most would agree Jack that there has been blatant manipulation on many fronts here. Unfortunately mgmt has made a bad situation only worse by continually over promising and under delivering! Those of us who talk with LG know exactly what I am referring to. To have someone like LG in an IR role has absolutely destroyed the shareholder confidence and trust. Of the numerous shareholders I know and talk with, all share this same experience, frustration and absolute distrust with LG.
Over the past 4 1/2 yrs I have emailed LP numerous times but have yet to get a single reply. That leaves us with having to deal with LG and quite frankly, I'd rather have my nose hairs plucked one by one!
At what point does the damage done by mgmt overshadow that of the "900lb gorilla?"
We are now roughly 3 weeks past ASCO where LP stated we would be hearing of "business developments" in the next couple weeks. I don't know what your definition is of a couple weeks but if we don't hear something this week then this will have just been another example of the company misleading investors and the market as to expected events!
I find it interesting that no one responded with an answer to my question about direct results yesterday. Why has there been no results from the Phase One trial? Not like it was blinded or anything.
Things that make you go hmmmm....
Why don't we have DcVax Direct results?
No ragrets Scotty P.
I assume market doesn't like Linda's crappy deal from yesterday. I guess her begging for money at asco was lagit.
ANOTHER HAND WELL PLAYED BY LINDA POWERS!!!LOL
Thanks. I took my medication.
That's better
