WTF! Labor Day week script implosion! OUCH!
Yeah that makes sense, the more fast food junk we introduce over there the more they'll need Vascepa.
Please explain. Article says need to control diabetes which I don't think they'll be searching out EPA for. Association with high triglycerides but they're just saying "modern" life style, not need to decrease triglycerides. Also says high HDL both good and bad?
I actually already made some, bought at low $5, but just like losses it's all on paper.
Oh sorry. Yeah but probably throw some antibiotics in with the Vascepa
"Beach Boys?" that's that bearded guy that from SF that plays for the Dodgers
Yeah I don't think you have to worry about that new drug you take with a needle, imagine the refills on that
Don't you have to be a moderator?
Yeah that's what I figured, except maybe meningitis
Thanks, I guess you can go from Crohn's to UC and or seal oil to fish oil
I can tell you that I have chronic lower back pain from trauma, I used to take aspirin but had easy bruising. I used aspirin instead of ibuprofen because afraid of renal problems and also aspirin recommended for cardiac. But now that I started Vascepa back pain greatly improved and hardly any aspirin.
what do you think about Vascepa for ulcerative colitis? steroids are bad news
Yeah that is autoimmune, lots of autoimmune diseases have arthritis as a symptom
Osteoarthritis is not autoimmune
Why do we need REDUCE-IT?
Diabetics die or get severe symptoms if even daily injections are missed, Bydureon was developed to deal with non compliance among this group. Missing anti lipid meds aren't noticed for years and even then it's a chance thing it will even make a difference.
Diabetics do subcutaneous shots but they get immediate results, who's gonna do it for a lab check once a year
Yeah I think I'll try to compete with all those lengthy positive reviews and promote Vascepa instead
Easy, Chemport had to modify the part of the factory that produces Vascepa, get inspected, approved and continuously monitored by the FDA. Chemport can produce but not sell the patented Vascepa.
I don't know where you're getting your information, certainly can't be from Kaiser. Hospitals will have preprinted order sheets stating must fail other listed meds before using certain other or sometimes requires pharmacy approval. Specialists don't get a bye on this. The law doesn't require the best available standard of care.
I liked slide 45 where the new guidelines will include testing for hs-CRP. I didn't like slides 43-44 where guidelines are based on cost of meds
No the normal process is that these rules are written by administrators and they start cheap and go up in cost, side effects or effectiveness don't count, the drug just has to be approved for the symptom or sign
what specifically did you think supports Vascepa? I noticed the discussion of inflammatory markers JL is always talking about.
Consumer Reports (the one that doesn't take money or advertising to remain uninfluenced) in the October edition warns about dietary supplements' claims don't need any evidence nor do they have to tell the truth
Yeah but that's just as bad, who wants to have to take such a large volume of capsules consuming stuff you don't want including DHA
That's what they did with GSK's antiemetic Zofran. Patients had to suffer and fail three others before being allowed Zofran. Anyone that knows anyone that had cancer and chemo knows how it's now the drug for nausea, but it took a lot to convince hospital administrators.
Cardiology groups' recommendations come under suspicion when it was noticed certain protocols they were advocating promoted meds they had a monetary interest in. I never trust anyone telling you something when they benefit financially and there is so much money involved.
In business you have to determine the costs of giving customers reasonable prices vs. losing them to a competitor.
Just demonstrate that your LDL went up, that's intolerance. Or you have a fear of atrial fibrillation.
Whenever I stop my Model S I try to not make eye contact and get out quickly if parked. I have a prepared speech to answer all the questions but getting annoying. I've become a celebrity for buying a car. Vascepa and Model S greatly improved my life this year.
I'm sorry I have Anthem.
Anthem and others have maximum charge for non-listed drugs. They don't practice medicine as Kaiser does, lets doctors do that.
Ok I checked out Consumerlab as you suggested. I was going to use a fake name so no one would think I frequented health food store stuff. But to ask a question you have to pay a monthly fee. You aren't allowed to comment or answer a question. Consumerlab answers any question and do you really think it will give an honest answer about any FDA approved product and anger its paid sponsors?
If all stays the same Anthem will charge you $50 per month after January
I don't agree with your math. With plusepa you don't get 500mg EPA in a 500mg capsule, there's a significant quantity of other known and unknown stuff using up the 500mg. Plus most take 4g and insurance doesn't charge by the gram, it charges by the month. In addition a lot of doctors write scripts for twice the amount the patient is taking to reduce the cost to patient by 50%.
That's the problem, the FDA has no power to keep these dietary supplements from entering the market and no governmental agency monitors what's in them, you have to believe them and then notice the warnings in small print at the end to keep the trial lawyers away
Yes I get my Vascepa at CVS every month no waiting
Scripts this week 5382/2905
Like most people, Aetna doesn't check you labs, I'm charged $50/month for 120 capsules Vascepa without coupon, don't worry about burping or have to hope the odor-blocking capsule works, or how much mercury and Japanese radioactivity they removed before concentrating it into a capsule.
Like which ones?
