Anyone not able to open the previous link I posted because it is a powerpoint presentation? I have converted it to a .pdf adobe document that can be read with adobe reader. I can email it to someone with a web site to post it on.
Presentation on page 5 talks about "JV to launch stratellites around the world" I assume JV means joint venture.

Rocky - I think it makes sense. So part of the agreement to get the initial 4.5 million was the option for additional warrants at $2.50. If GTE did not agree to additional warrants, then no 4.5 million.
Is this correct, if it is then I understand. Thanks for all the help.
Kevin
Thanks for the response Rocky.
Here is a particular you can help me with.
"Class A Warrants were issued to the investors for the purchase of up to an additional $6,818,181 in GlobeTel common stock. The Class A Warrants are exercisable at $2.50 per share until August 30, 2008."
Does this simply mean the investors have the right to purchase common stock throuth August 30, 2008 at $2.50 per share.
If that is true then is it safe to assume they would not exercise them now with our current share price because they could buy on the open market cheaper.
What does GTE get in exchange for the Class A Warrents? I see we got 4.5 million at 5% interest redemable for cash or GTE shares at $1.65 for the convertable notes, but what is the benefit of allowing someone to buy your shares for example in July 2008 at 2.50 per share when the share price could be much higher? Do we get something for allowing them the option to buy?
Thanks
Kevin
Rocky - I was not really looking for particulars. I was just wondering what your overall opinion was. I don't have a business background so alot of the filings are confusing to me.
Thanks
Kevin
Starboy - you private mailed me a message I think you meant for Rocky. I can't private back, but I thought you would want to know it was sent to the wrong person.
Thanks

Welcome back Rocky. Looking forward to your views on what you think is going on with GTE. Are you seeing great things in the future or do you see any problems? I remain pretty positive, but wish we were being given more solid details.
Thanks

In this segment, national leaders in implementing advanced broadband wireless services for public safety and homeland defense purposes provide cases studies and future requirements (including policy goals). Complementary perspective will come from APCO, the key association of users, and from private sector leaders, both from a system integrator and vendor standpoint. The session is co-moderated by District of Columbia and private sector leaders who are leading additional sessions in the BWA Public Safety, Municipal and ITS Summit at WCA 2005. Concerning the substantive educational matter, a prominent State of California expert will focus upon Bush Administration’s Federal SAFECOM “Statement of Requirements for Public Safety Wireless Communications & Interoperability” (http://www.safecomprogram.gov/SAFECOM). Established in 2002 as part of the President’s Management Agenda, SAFECOM is the overarching umbrella program within the Federal Government that oversees all initiatives and projects pertaining to public safety communications and interoperability.” This session in part will focus on the current and forthcoming Federal vision, and California’s deployments and planning. The goal is better to acquaint vendors with requirements in the public safety market, both the challenges and the potential opportunities.

A little more to chew on: Dust Storms, (Real) Bugs, Intermittent Electricity or No Phone Lines? Intel Says 'No Problem'.
Interesting points from article:
1. "Intel Corporation today showcased a rugged PC designed for developing countries that can better handle harsh climates, intermittent electricity, dust and bugs while accessing the Internet without wires"
2. "The demonstration PC also linked to the Internet via a WiMAX wireless network. WiMAX, short for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is a standards-based wireless broadband technology that can provide high-speed Internet connections to homes, communities, businesses and mobile wireless networks across many miles, making it an ideal way to unwire entire communities and cities"
3. "Intel neither confirmed if or when the concept platform might be developed by local PC makers in India or elsewhere, nor provided any other details"

Wether or not we end up with a direct connection to Intel as some have suggested, it is very interesting to read todays release from intel. The products they are developing will tie in perfectly with the stratellite. Even if we are not working directly with Intel, the benefits of their new products to the stratellite concept are tremendous.
"Intel CEO Outlines New Platform Directions"
Points of interest from the article:
1. "Intel Corporation CEO and President Paul S. Otellini said the industry is on a new "performance per watt" course that will deliver powerful Intel-based computers that are increasingly smaller, sleeker and more energy-efficient"
2. "Otellini unveiled the company's next-generation, power-optimized micro-architecture for future digital home, enterprise, mobile and emerging market platforms -- and low-power products that will enable a new category of converged consumer devices"
3. "Otellini also announced that forthcoming lower-power products will lead to a new category of ultra energy-efficient "Handtop PC" devices that provide a converged communication and PC-like experience but require less than a watt of processing power and weigh under a pound"

I am also not sure about the reports coming out of the shm stating that construction has not begun.
In the 3rd Quarter 2005 Business Update and Shareholder Letter, Mr. Huff states:
"Our Sanswire Two Airship, which is currently under construction, will incorporate all the technological features of our final commercial vehicle"
I hope Mr. Huff's update is correct.

It should be noted that the "State Street Corp" shares are dated 6/30/2005. They just showed up today, so I would assume they had nothing to do with todays market movement. Of course I could be wrong. lol
