Find. Was Chaya invited to speak at the conference in Florida last month?
READ THE COMPLETE POST
Help me understand:
You are involved with RXSF. How many prototypes were made before you happened upon the one now for sale?
Is RXSF still using, today, the same companies for its components used in the manufacturing of its saleable product that it first contacted in the beginning of its development of it product?
Of the components used in today's saleable product, how many were developed by the company and how many were just bought off the shelf and put together to make the product?
Good business DEMANDS a change of direction, despite promises and statements made, if such change of direction improves the company by lowering the cost to produce a product or improves the product to be produced....wouldn't you agree?
If the components are on the shelf around the world, why has anyone not put it out there?
If the SMME card is no big deal, why are other companies finding it impossible to develop a similar card?...one that works in an ATM machine.
If you think 15 years to miniaturize the components to fit within the confines of a standard size debit/credit card is too long, why have these other companies not accomplished the same by now?
How much money is necessary to "dedicate" to the engineering to produce a useable sensor, which fits within an standard size debit/credit card?
Samsung, some years ago, dedicated $1BILLION to work on what SMME has accomplished. I remember this because I thought they may approach Chaya with an offer to buy the company. YES, ONE BILLION DOLLARS!!!
Other cards developed by other companies may have a biometric scanner.........BUT it does not fit into a card that is usable in an ATM machine.
Frankly, no one is able to prove anything to you, because when they do, you deny it. Case in point: you stated you knew "EVERYONE" in the industry and no one ever heard of Chaya. You knew of her because RXFS approached her and the industry knew of her because they invited her to speak at one of their conferences.
As for the purchase cost of The Card the proof is this: a poster on this board has stated they spoke with someone in the industry and their respond was: VERY REASONALBE COST.
Finally, Duke and I are waiting for our card. Prove to us you speak the truth.
SM...Given your comments re: "borrowed" idea for the MKR and "biometrics securing cards" being around for years we would still be driving Model T cars.
An idea from one, added to and built upon by others is what has made America great. Isn't that called PROGRESS?
Duke...Mate...
You are talking to the wall.
Even after sales of The Card are announced there will be accusations of false reporting....
But I applaud your valiant efforts...You fight the good fight.
I wonder why investors would value a company with a $21 million stockholder deficit and no revenue ever reported at a 25% PREMIUM over a company that has a product selling and has an $8 million stockholder deficit.
I wonder why...
I'll take one too! :)
This is what happens when people are not part of the progressive history....
In short, again, improvements were made to The Card. Why bring out a product KNOWING that in a period of time a better product can be offered? Don't tell me Apple could not have bettered its first phone. Rather they sold it; improved it and consumers paid twice, and many more times, for it. That is why Apple has billions of dollars in their bank account...and the money is not in ours.
Card was NOT available for sale....thus NO revenue is expected.
Take a break and let's see what happens in 6-9 months....THEN your words may have relevance and substance.
Apparently many in the industry did not think so since she was invited to make a presentation recently at a major conference.
Please let me know when the RX medical device of your company will be presented and where. I'd like to attend to see it and to meet you. I'm serious.
I applaud any management team who has the courage and foresight to adjust and change direction of company from statements made based on advice from 3rd parties and change in circumstances.
I thought your conversation was in regards to The Card of SMME. However, regarding your comment pertaining to the MKR: It was released with little limited exposure; feed back was received but due to limited resources it was decided by management to focus resources on The Card. Would you make complaint to focus limited resources on the "core" product?
Comment regarding commencement of sales and no longer being a development company, again, was in reference to the MKR, NOT The Card. So please in posting your DD be clear on the focus of the statements made by the company.
One increases AS for many reasons. Perhaps in anticipation of a stock split when the prices rises, would be one reason. So unless you can foresee the future your statement is ONLY a personal opinion.
We are in the year, 2016. Recent search of CURRENT company statements does NOT show statements you posted FROM 2009 AND 2010!!
What relevance do figures from 6 and 7 years ago have to do with today??
SM...What is all this talk about dilution?
Any investor should know that the increase in AUTHORIZED number of shares does NOT dilute the stock price/value until they become outstanding.
Secondly, just because a company has started with a certain number of shares, and then increases the number of authorized shares in no way is a reflection of poor or bad management. To deduce that then we would have to say companies such as Exxon and probably every Fortune 500 company would need to be included in the "Bad Management" category. I am aware on only ONE company who probably has not increased AUTHORIZED shares and that is Berkshire Hathaway...which accounts for its "out of this world" PPS.
And as for YD's DD...he misled posters when he took information pertaining to the Medical Key Ring and associated it with The Card, and only PennyRuss's DD calling him out on that brought out the truth. So much for his DD...and did he acknowledge his misleading or just let it pass??
And apparently the lawsuit "against the company's that you would thing (think) would partner with SMME" has none nothing to deter Visa's interest and wisdom regarding SMME's card.
And finally, comments regarding "zero" revenue is irrelevant since the product was never available for sale. That's like telling the apple farmer who plants young trees which will not produce apples for years to come he's wasting his time since he hasn't sold any apples.........the time is not yet.....but soon.
My comment is to those of us who over the years have agreed to get together in the future. It has nothing to do with electronics.
Tell that to the people who lose their card or have it stolen from their wallet or purse and the thief uses it until it is reported stolen.
It will not be so with the SmartMetric card.
Looking forward to meeting Le Club members...
Bet the first Annual meeting will be at home base in Las Vegas, NV. A really Crazy city!! Then Downunder... Looking forward to seeing the land.
Thanks Duke....
#1 True to date
#2 Not always true. Failure can lead to success; success takes time.
#3 Cost/Benefit study would prove you wrong. Cost per card, true, but cost to person and business NOT TRUE. Over 60% of people said in recent study they would pay $69.99 for The Card. Peace of mind is invaluable.
#4 Opinion
#5 Increased A/S shares does NOT dilute stockholder value until such shares become outstanding. Really, you should know this. A/S shares could increase to 1 billion and it has NO; ZERO; affect on the price of the shares or stockholder value until they become outstanding.
What is the cost to develop The Card?
#1 DD is NOT the statement of one's opinions gleaned from past statements. The card of the past has been GREATLY improved upon into a working debit/credit card. Circumstances change, new information is acquired and past statements and decisions should not be held up as bad or fraudulent promises in the face of them. I would see such action as good management.
#2 Non-demonstration of The Card does NOT mean or can it be concluded that The Card does not function as described.
#3 Use of stock for payment of services is a reasonable way to conserve one's cash position.
#4 Working at a major retail company at the POS terminal for over 7 years I can attest that fraudulent use of a card with the chip is possible.
#5 The past does NOT always reflect the future.
Thanks for the link....It's nice to see you back in the chat.
You've been missed ....but I trust you've been watching. :)
See what I mean. I just hope those who come here for information will be able to find a site that allows both sides to be expressed....
You are not doing any analysis...you are copying PAST reported statements.
Here is an analysis: Over the 14 plus years Smartmetric has been developing a "one of a kind", industry changing debit/credit card which will reduce fraud thereby benefiting both consumer and companies involved in the debit/credit card industry.
IF you followed the progress of the development of The Card you would know that The Card of today is NOT the card promoted even 3 years ago. Improvements in all aspects of it have taken the time and money to bring it to where it is today.
Those who have seen The Card have suggested additions and improvements to it which Chaya has incorporated into it.
One does not solve all the issues and problems faced in the development of a "one of a kind" product within a certain time frame. So, though your posts are historical, and factual....they do NOT represent the true and complete picture of the progress and development of The Card or the company.
No sense bringing to market an inferior product...like the "competition" to SmartMetric has. Better to develop the best.
would you be kind and copy some of the comments here from there?
Organization is NOT spelled with a "s"
No...
Fellow shareholder....consumer adoption? THAT will be the least of the challenges.
I know at least 8 cards will be bought...and we are only 2 families in America.
Stockmedic....please don't take this in a negative way....but in the past you have said that those you know in the industry did not know who Chaya is. Just wondering if they are now aware of who she is?
And I dont't mean because of her presentation at the convention, but may be she didn't stand out before as being a significant member of the community of biometrics
So Dr. is your skepticism regarding The Card all based on your assumption that it has not been tested by the company?
I would think only a fool would go to the lengths Chaya has without being CERTAIN that The CARD would function.
Are you aware that companies have looked at The Card and have given Chaya suggestions for improvement, which she gratefully incorporated into The Card.
If the above is true then buy more stock...you'll pay a lot more after sales are announced.
Just wondering...did you introduce yourself as Stockmedic or offer a business card to the people at the booth?
Wondering, too, did you talk with Chaya or David at all?
If you did speak with one of the above, what questions did you ask and how would you access the response?
Would like to know.
Thank you for your review. Were you able to speak with Chaya and ask her the questions you have?
Any reasonable competition you saw at the conference??
Bale out...I'm not really sure who you are or where you stand but when I asked my 10 year old grandson why do you think there are no people in the picture he said, "Grandpa, maybe they didn't let any people in yet."
Duke...Thank you for the report. Still waiting to hear from stockmedic. I trust he will be true to his word and share his observations. OR he may have no negative things to say..
Stockmedic....what did you see and hear at the convention? Please give us your observations and let us know how busy the Smartmetric booth was.
It appears today's transactions toward the end of the trading day (after Chaya's scheduled presentation time) were small amounts with only 2 over 20k @ about $.085. The final transaction of $.07 was around 10k shares, some 4-5 hours after Chaya's scheduled presentation.
Given the amount of shares transacted over the last 3 weeks or so I would guess today's transactions were from traders and not investors....
Of the one credit card I know of that my wife and I have :) we pay an annual fee of $100 American. It allows us to accumulate points toward air fares...but I must add my name to the list of those who would gladly add $50 to protect ones information in Credit Card transactions.
If The Card does last 5 years an additional $10/year is CHEAP protection of our information.
And yes, we've had our information hacked. $300 was taken from our bank account...They may have taken more but thank God we are poor. :)
Prof....you're talking grapes and coconuts here. (Size matters)
I work at Target and there is NOT a week that goes past that someone tells me how there were hacked and how disturbing and frustrating the whole situation was.
Seems like a $50 cost to distributor and a $70 cost to user would be a small price to pay to many of those I've talked to.
And if my memory serves me well The Card is to last around 5 years...seems to me a small price to pay for peace of mind...
Thank you...I trust if they are at the conference in April you will seek them out.. :)
Prof...what do you know about Cardlab?
