True dat. Guess we'll see it on the quarterly if a payment was made, no?
bank
That's correct, Jet. It hasn't been officially announced.
And, yes, only company officials would really know for sure whether there really will be one or not. God, you really nailed that one!
I'm sure that if you emailed Barbara Johnson yourself, she'll tell you the same that she told me and Warp. But, then, you wouldn't really believe that either, would you?
Based on the company's correspondence with me, I AM surmising that there will be a shareholder's meeting. Pretty amazing deduction, huh? And I would also surmise that your inuendos and paranoia far exceed your holdings in the stock.
bank
It hasn't been officially announced yet.
"This guy has millions of shares still in his posession. He has been privy to everything that has been going on within the company for years."
Is that jealosy rearing its ugly head?
bank
Well, if true, and I have no reason to doubt you, that sucks. My experience has been quite different. As a point of reference, my earlier communications had been with Karen, who returned my initial call within the hour and invited my questions via email. I will also add that I've always communicated during regular business hours - maybe that matters, maybe it doesn't. However, I think it's obvious that we have a very small company trying to do the best it can - at least I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I'm not happy that the communications are hit or miss - you're not the first to express the same inadequate experience. Let's hope the meeting in May is fruitful and let's also hope their communications skills develop right along side with their air-readiness.

Great post. Meant to say that earlier.

Why don't you call Barbara Johnson and ask her? Or send her an email? Or do something that is other than supposition? And when you have an actual reply, then you'll have an actual fact to post here on the board. What a concept!

What will all the sad individuals do now that the daily sales will no longer be seen?
Probably make them up.
Anybody see today's 8K?
Thomas Seifert has resigned from the Board of Directors as of 1/19/11 for personal reasons.

You make an excellent point. The company officers are taking extra precautions with everything, hence, no unnecessary PR's or announcements. Do we all want more info? Yes. But, should pumping at every small turn in the road be what we want from this company? No. I'm pretty sure the bashers will all chime in and say we've had plenty of that in the past.
Given the collective professional backgrounds of Clark/Estrella/Johnson, there is a methodical, almost plodding, mentality to the steps for success of the company. Everyone needs to remember (bashers go in the other room until I'm done, please) that they are in it to win it. Let me repeat - they are in it to win it. That means that things take time if done right. Let's not get caught up in this instant gratification world of ours when it comes to our investment. Some of the sentiment on this board of SP tanking - must be something wrong - has no bearing here. WW says this company is an R & D company and he's right. Products take time to come to market - period. And that's only when things are done correctly. IMO, the company has only recently started doing things right. The good news is that the new regime was given a head start with a group of inventions that already had a number of years of R&D in the bag.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that patience will prove to be our friend in the end. My belief is that there are a number of announcements coming our way and we can all benefit by taking advantage of the SP lull to buy more. (not advice, just an opinion.)

Nil, 10,000 this morning at 9:18am. I'm not familiar with a form T trade. How does that work? Thanks.
bank
Figured that on the after hours. How does a premarket trade happen?
bank
Nope. Caught my eye, too. But, checked them out and definitely 2 different guys. Weird, huh?
bank
Nil, BBB,
I see the last trade today printing at 4:37pm. Any idea how a BB stock gets activity after hours? I see some on occasion before the open and after the close. Thanks.

GTC's registered office is listed as being in Katonah, NY.
Did you post your spy picture yet?
I was kind of interested in seeing that video. Why don't you go ahead and post it? Even a photo would be OK. It would save me a trip downtown to see for myself. But, then again, if you really had no intention to begin with . . .
bank
I would love one.
bank
Nil,
This is exactly what Howard Rubell from Jefferies and Co. was referring to when he spoke of L-3's participation in the intelligence/surveillance airship arena. Given our involvement with L-3, it only seems logical that we will participate as well on some level. And, yes, it is a no-brainer to use our less expensive tech.
The brass ring is within reach.
bank
I didn't mean literally ready to deliver, obviously. But, still if there's a contract for development and subsequent sale, there has to be some cash on the barrelhead, no? Like the rest, just trying to figure out where the capital might be coming from.
bank
Who knows? Maybe they decided to buy 2? Ha!
Pure conjecture, but, do you think there's a down payment from L-3 in the works now that the camera package is probably installed and operational? After all, Jefferies and Co. seems to think L-3 has data acquisition airships to deliver.
bank
I would hope GTC for one.
be real -
I asked Barbara Johnson the status on that and, although she is obligated by SEC regs and can't divulge info privately, she did say there would be an 8-K filed. She also mentioned a proxy statement would be forthcoming with details on a shareholder's meeting in FL in May.
I have to keep reminding myself -patience really is a virtue.

On last night's Kudlow Report, Howard Rubell of Jeffries & Co. makes an interesting comment in regards to contract awards for air support. At 4:02 in the following interview, he specifically mentions that "and, um, interestingly enough, L-3 got some additional intelligence collection aircraft."
Interestingly enough, indeed.

I'm still here and I really thought we'd get to .12 or .15. I guess contracts are needed first.
bank
If true, good trading, indeed. This stock may lend itself to another good bullshort or two, but I wouldn't want to get caught in an updraft when it runs through .25. Best of luck, though.
By the way, lay off the "look it up" crap. An honest question deserves an honest answer and I sure have better things to do than follow your posting history.

Warp, there are also those unregistered/restricted shares that have been sold to Basis clients in the past 6-9 months or so. I know of some that have recently become unrestricted and are in the process of being registered. I'm unclear as to how many total shares fall into that category, though.
Warp, and why would they agree to such a change from the previous arrangement? Let's see . . . maybe because THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A WINNER? Ya think???
Can't wait to hear a certain waffler say how "astounded" he is. Ha!
Bank
My point exactly. Can't wait . . .
That works for me. EOM
Good commentary Kreskin! It's amazing how you're able to just see through everything. Can't wait to see what you say when L3 puts a $90,000,000 order in for 30 units. I'm sure your post will read "Well. No surprise there."
Bank
Well, does GTC exercise its option today?
I know, right? Just a couple of months off . . . I didn't say which Friday! LOL
Bank
And merry Christmas to you, Warp!
Bank
Ah, speaking of clarity . . .
Thanks, Nil.
Bank
Warp, Cole knows full well what the quarterly filings state. I think at this point it's obvious that he would never let clarity and truth get in the way of a contrived argument that only serves his short position. Experience will tell you that the most boisterous person in the room is generally the most insecure. And, if you're short SNSR, you are probably feeling mighty insecure.
Bank
Cole,
You may notice that, for those of us who are confident in our assessments and investments, we don't need to use words or phrases such as "engine of theft", "scrape", "miraculously" and "trick" to explain our point of view. Of course, then again, I'm not short this stock.
Best of luck.
Bank
Thanks, Warp.
Nil,
Thanks for the link that WW couldn't provide. But, for those of us who don't deal with that part of the world, can you please explain why this has any real meaning? When you go to the FBG website, it's a lot of ill-defined blah-blah-blah. So they registered in September to lobby for Sanswire - big deal. Are they important players? What's the scoop? Who are they really? Can you or WW vouch for their track record?
Thanks.
Bank
WW -
Nice gratuitous post! What's your point? And what's your basis for the opening statement; or, more accurately, the opening incomplete sentence "Registration by Federal Business Group, Inc. to lobby for Sanswire Corp.?"
TIA
