CCME - The shorts must be having heart attacks.
I keep thinking about that radio reporter describing the destruction of the Hindenburg :
"... oh the humanity.."
Cheers!

"Blue Horseshoe Loves CCME"
Easy buddy.... you are just getting over being sick for month...NO HYPERVENTALING.
-Dan
Hell, I'll toss in a small one:
(weeeeeee!)
SIAF... yep got it this morning
Sweet....a 7.4% annual yield at my buy-in price. (assuming they pay this out each qtr)
-Dan
I agree completely.
But I don't want to sound TOOOO optimistic.
People might think I'm actually just talking up my book...
opps ... I guess I am!
(hehehe)
-Dan
I'm with ya Headley...
But think our forward p/e is closer to four
If you use a FD share count of 47 million for next year (which assumes they get the 7mil of earnout shares for this year, and the preferred and warrants are converted).
I see them earning around 165mil next year (I know.. that is 25% above their earn-out target).... which is $3.50 a share... for a forward p/e of 4 ...here at $14pps.
Think I'm crazy?
Well, on top of that, I firmly believe that we will see eps of around $4 in 2012 EVEN WITH THE FD SHARE COUNT UP at 54 Million.
Stick a FMCN p/e ratio on that .... and ... and .... RETIRE!
(Hey, I can dream, can't I?)
-Dan
CCME - Short Interest
I'm not sure about you guys, but when I saw 4.4 million.... I had the uncontrollable urge to start laughing like Renfield.
... and I can't seem to stop
-Dan
After the bell on the 12th
Here is the schedule from NASDAQ:

While I am in complete agreement with your sentiments...
Let me remind everyone that we seem to be very happy now that the pps has made it into the mid 10's ... but it was not that long ago that the longs went crazy when it dropped down into the mid 10's.
This thing is still dirt cheap.... we have a long way to go, let's enjoy the ride.
-Dan
Chris,
You are 100% right, we have no way to know if they have purchased any shares until they either PR it, or we see it in the 10Q. They announced the buyback on Sept 16th.... so any activity from that day till the 30th must be reported in the Q.
-Dan
I know you were responding to atco1982, but
I've got 180k of them in one account, and another 11k in three small accounts. So I've done my fair share of DD.
So what do you have? ... Since you seem to equate that with knowlege of CCME?
-Dan
That line is in many audit letters... read the NEXT line, and realize that due to the fact that the company is not required to have internal controls for reporting (not to be confused with internal controls for cash/operations, etc) that DT designed their audit to take that into consideration. Thus, their work in this area is even more detailed, and includes more testing.
This is a non-issue
-Dan
I'm not sure what you are referring to?
DT issued an unqualified opinion under GAAP... with full application of GAAS, which included a full review and testing of internal controls.
And to answer your next question: YES, I am a CPA with extensive audit experience.
Your three stacked emails this morning are looking very suspicious to me right now.... but maybe I just need some coffee.
-Dan
Looks like he let them keep digging their hole deeper all day.... then dropped the hammer on them at three o'clock.
Also, as I noted over on the CGS board, the shorts went massive naked in the last few minutes to prevent a close over the 100DMA. It cost them over 100k shares. Looks like our company buyer misplaced that rulebook about buying after 3:30pm.... must have a real messy office or something (hehehe)
-Dan
CCME - Looked more like a:
"OMG! we better naked short the crap out of this before they drive it over the 100DMA!"
This is getting VERY entertaining.
-Dan
Yep, I work a block away from there, and I am exchanging emails with Jacky to try and set up a meeting.
I'm up to 180k shares now (Thanks Shorty) so Jacky is "most interested"
-Dan
Agreed...
But the recent trading leaves me with a question:
But with over 4 million shares traded over the last 5+ days..... I'm still perplexed about who is selling down here?
It can't all be naked shorting and daytrading ... can it?
The float is 9 mil ... but I'm fairly sure at least half of that is in LONG hands, so we are taking about 100% of the float trading in a week.
Any of you folks with more market savy than I (which does not take much) have an idea?
Thanks
-Dan
Maybe it is just me....
But it sure looked like our "company buyer" just stuffed a short attack right back into their faces over the last 45min or so....
-Dan
I think you may have misread the page
The report has not been updated for 9/30 ...2010
The items you are referring to are from 9/30/2009.
the most recent reports are still from 6/30/2010.
-Dan
Bravo Brian !
You have officially thrown down the gauntlet. let us see if the shorts meet your challenge.
-Dan
Any initial up front costs are amortized over the life of the contract ... such as the cost of putting in the LCD's, or any ONE TIME initial payment to the bus owners. Any ONGOING payments are expensed in the year incurred..... Textbook GAAP
-Dan
I'm not sure what the rules are for aggregating semi-related entities for reporting purposes? The totals are more than halfway there... but with using 3 entities. My guess would be non-reportable, since they did it on purpose.
Regardless.... I've got my popcorn ready for next weeks entertainment.
-Dan
It's not just Jacky who is warming up the BBQ for the CCME Shorts.
Some major "ask" pounding is just about upon us.
-Dan
They are finished nibbling.... thanks to the shorts and weak hands.
Next week: "Release the hounds!"
-Dan
Ahhh... I missed that post Ryan.... kudos to you for busting him first!
-Dan
Odd....
That is the same EXACT message posted over on Yahoo by "xjcomxxx" to one of Fernandos posts.
I guess we now know who this joker is.
-Dan
Agreed
We need to nip this in the bud before we start seeing a dozen new posters every day with 50+ posts each!
-Dan
CCME .... yes, it might get into the $7's.
If so, keep some powder dry and 'Load the boat'... or 'Back up the truck' or whatever term you prefer.
-Dan
Bravo atco, well said.
I've been looking at it in the same way.
Some longs have been scratching their heads and speculating about the increasing short position, wondering when it will finally reverse.... but the shorts are smacking thier heads and saying "What the hell do we do now?"
-Dan
Guys,
You are giving the new "Yahoo" way too much board time. He already has 14 posts today ... and I'm sure he gets extra for obtaining responses from Ihubers vs. your run of the mill yahoo poster.
-Dan
CCME - That would be great
I can see Jacky now....
Sitting behind a big table covered in stacks of cash.... several gold World Series of LCD Advertising Bracelets on his outstreched arms...
Saying (of course) : "Wooooow"
-Dan
Preparation for an attack would result in a response AFTER such attack, which is not really the thing to do since it is still “reactive”.
The real answer is to do things that are “preemptive” of attacks.
CCME is already using a Big 4 auditor and already has a large and respected international investor (Starr), these help cover many of the potential avenues of attack, but they could top it off with what has been mentioned several times on this board: a dividend. How many scams actually pay a dividend? It need not be big... just announced, and PAID.
...Just my two cents on issue (hoping a dividend would be more than two cents!)
-Dan
Top 10

I too have a wealthy "friend" who have already taken a nice position in CCME at a low price point thanks to the shorts. They are thinking about taking a reportable position .... And toasting some folks in the process.
I have a conf call sch with them on Monday even though I'm on vacation in portugal for two more weeks
-Dan
I am WAAAY to ugly for TV (I would make Cramer look like Brad Pitt) I'm also just lucky...and dumb as a rock.
Having some cash to invest in march 09, and a dartboard, would have made profits for anyone.
You are right... We can not take it with us, but if we can help some folks before we go (and sometimes after) we do take A LOT with us.
Good luck to us
-Dan
Value,
It is not just me with a large CCME position. Fernando is a large holder too, as is a buddy of mine. Between the three of us we control about 7% of the float.
As for me, I will eventually sell in a year or two along with some other "growth" investments and build a mixed portfolio of MLP's for some long term, high return, tax advantaged cash flow.
(I already have some big positions in XTEX, BBEP, and some others that I loaded up on last march on the cheap)
My "growth" positions include CCME, CNAM, SIAF, CCLWF/TF, LPH, etc in the china space, and some US pharma plays like TTNP (which I am in big).
It may work out... It may not. I have been very lucky so far. I started with 100k... It is now 3.5mil...but it can go to ZERO very fast. So I remind myself that health and a family are more important than money!
-Dan
Yep
With the warrant conversion cost, I am in at just a few pennies over $6. So let the shorts play... I will wait
-Dan
Value...
As posted in the past, I hold 160k shares (almost all via TMI warrants)... I have not sold ANY. Traders/flippers will call me a fool... But when this thing is $60+ I doubt I will get many negative messages.... And would not care anyway
-Dan
abh3vt,
In my mind a stock buyback would not increase their ownership %. The shares purchased would not be retired, they would just be considered treasury shares that could be resold back into the market (possibly at a sizeable profit) in the future, which would provide the company with additional cash. Treasury shares are owned by the company (not management) thus ALL shareholders "own" them.
I think the earn-out shares are a lock, so I have always used 55mil outstanding in my own calcs. Their issuance may show some less robust q-over-q and y-over-year eps results (under GAAP)than we would like to see, but in the long run you will still see $3+ in EPS (Maybe much more)
Just my thoughts
-Dan
