snoot, Yes, I'm suspecting everything of a bullish flavor we watch around here is due for a pullback after this run of about five days. The hourly / MACD combo is always worth watching.
A key question: Will we see a higher low followed by another move higher in price action?
My Daily model shows $BKX also started its rise on 7.7.2010.
My Daily model Up signal for FAS is similar to SPY ($SPX) that occurred at the close on 7.7.2010.
Positive response to Alcoa earnings helped move $SPX (and SPY) higher in after hours trading.
Here's a cute example of "App Inventor" in action:
Yes, Google's "App Inventor" will bring kids and teens into the App market, and build market share and loyalty. Some of them will turn out to be the App and GUI developer stars of tomorrow.
Smart move, Goog!

Will AAPL do something similarly?
If whoever is in power (or wants power) can credibly fix the economy without money (and related interventions) they'll get lots of votes.
I'm a skeptic.
Although, far from ideal, the available evidence, indicates the economy is improving and headed in the right direction.
Earnings season will tell us more about what we can expect.

Watch this Chart:

The rise started on 7.7.2010.
Good chart.
Yes, with strong iPad and iPhone, etc. sales numbers this earnings season I expect AAPL to challenge and likely move above its recent highs.

TREND1, two questions:
1) Regarding the 10 min RFC chart: Does the vertical green line on the far left mean "Buy" and does that signal then carry forward through to the close today and on into Monday's market?
2) Red vertical lines, in general, mean "Sell" and the condition continues until there is a change to the opposite, green, is that correct?
My daily model has $SPX Up from 7.7.2010.
Strong performance by the futures (which started about 0620 (NYT)) supported Bullish action in the major indexes today.
FAS rises over 13% today.

Big. . .when does a smart phone become a tablet?
Android evolution is feverish; there's something new every week, it seems. Where does it go from here? And what does it mean for AAPL over the next 1 to 2 years?

Again we learn why SJ is the keystone and driving force in the AAPL product development, company management process. May he live long and prosper.
Congratulations, Heywood! You're doing well in your options explorations and making money in the process.

Apple Is Hiring iPhone Antenna Engineers:
http://mashable.com/2010/06/30/apple-hiring-iphone-antenna-engineers/
I thought it went out about 1400 (NYT). It didn't.
I've had two ISP disconnects today; I thought the post was sent. It wasn't.
So be it.
FAS: Flat now.
I thought I posted an FAS Down signal about 1400 (NYT).
Didn't happen, not sure why. So it goes.
My solution for the present to the battery drain problem associated with iOS4 is to use airplane mode and turn off notifications when I don't need the Internet.
Battery life is OK with those provisions.

AAPL will take a big, perhaps huge, hit when SJ is gone. The first few days are likely to be very scary and brutal. And if it does recover, it will take several successful products cycles and earnings periods to demonstrate its renewal.
You want to see something really scary, take out a powerful, charismatic leader with a long history of collecting followers who believe nearly everything connected.
Here's a semi (VTSS), on a 15 year monthly chart, I followed years ago (and sold short) while there were, it seems, gazillions of bulls praising its future and sustainability:
