This is a done Deal for number of reasons and I agree he seems to put the blame on ShowTime but the way I see it Dana is famous for pillaging every village he has ever been too and then trying to burn the place down after he is done and no one should think ShowTime doesn't know that, just ask Spike how the relationship works. And yeah look at the remnants of the Promotion that WAS Strikeforce! This Deal is Done and ShowTime wants out!
He talks about it like I'm not going to get into any Deal that is isn't good for the UFC, what he means is the UFC alone.
Partnership, the guy doesn't even understand the meaning of it and has no loyalty to no one or nothing. He did a deal with Fox while had they existing relationships with ShowTime and through that CBS, as well as the long standing one with Spike who he continues use and abuse after they would not bow down to his demands. Good for them not taking this sitting down either though.
All good for ProElite!
Has the fate of Strikeforce been decided?
Submitted by fightlinker on October 7, 2011 - 8:58am
While it seems quite obvious at this point that the UFC is stripping Strikeforce for parts, the promotion's fate technically lies in the hands of the Showtime network, who are going to make a choice very soon on extending the deal all the way until 2013. How soon is very soon? They may have already made their decision:
It appears that day is drawing closer with every passing month. Strikeforce broadcast partner Showtime's deadline to continue with a five-year broadcast deal inked in February 2009 is "now," according to White, and the future of the promotion likely rests on that decision.
White said UFC executive and co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta met with Showtime executives on Tuesday but said he didn't know how the meeting went and declined to discuss it further.
"I'm not involved with that thing," White said. "I have a conference call with Lorenzo right after this press conference, so I'll know then."
Call me a Debbie Downer, but I'm not exactly optimistic about Strikeforce's chances. Maybe it's the roster raiding, maybe it's the complete lack of promotion for Strikeforce events, or maybe Dana White's complete indifference. But something tells me the UFC isn't all that interested in keeping the organization around.

Great and Thanks!
Any word at this point on the Android IHUB App ?
Thanks in advance.
Andrei Arlovski, Tim Sylvia scheduled for action at November ProElite event
The newly re-structured version of ProElite MMA will hold its second event next month with an event featuring a pair of former UFC heavyweight champs at the top of the card, albeit in separate bouts rather than facing off.
According to an official press release, Tim Sylvia will face Pedro Rizzo on November 5 in Moline, Illinois with Andrei Arlovski taking on Travis Fulton in co-headlining action. Though no other match-ups have been announced, the show is also expected to feature some of the Quad Cities’ top talent as well as the opening round of a heavyweight Grand Prix involving eight of the division’s rising stars.
Arlovski is already 1-0 in ProElite after beating Ray Lopez in August at the promotion’s debut show in Hawaii, while Fulton is a legend in MMA based purely on his ridiculous record. The 34-year old “Ironman” has gone 247-48-10 with a jaw-dropping 241 finishes including 91 TKOs and 150 submissions. Fulton is 2-0 in 2011, a significant drop in appearances for the veteran who fought thirteen times in 2011.
“Pitbull” Back to Winning Ways at Re-Debut of ProElite
Though past their primes, Sylvia and Rizzo have both been relatively competitive as of late with “The Maine-iac” winning five of his last six fights and “The Rock” racking up three straight victories including success against Jeff Monson, Gary Goodridge, and most recently Ken Shamrock.

Zuffa's gutting of Strikeforce nearing completion
Submitted by agentsmith on October 4, 2011 - 5:55pm
When someone buys a car for the sole purpose of scavenging the valuable parts and junking the rest, this is known as "parting out" the vehicle. When Zuffa bought Strikeforce seven months ago, those of you who predicted that it would soon end up as a picked-clean skeleton sitting on blocks in Dana White's backyard can start smugly patting yourselves on the back right about now.
"Yeah, we do want to bring Gilbert Melendez over, and we're looking at it right now," White said following Saturday's UFC on Versus 6 event at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center. "We're looking to bring Gilbert Melendez over ASAP."
. . .
White, though, isn't counting out the possibility that Melendez could get an immediate title shot in the UFC. While he's earned top-contender status on merit, White said it'll depend more on the timing of the title picture, which gets some clarity next weekend when UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar takes on Gray Maynard.
"[The title shot] is a possibility," he said. "The thing is with that division, it's so stacked, there are a lot of possibilities.
"We'll see what happens with the timing."
Speaking of timing, Gilbert's already supposed to have a date with Jorge Masvidal at the next Strikeforce show in December, but it sounds like however the log-jam in the UFC's lightweight division shakes out is more important than that shit. Apparently Fabricio Werdum and maybe even Bigfoot Silva are being considered for transfers too, which makes me wonder about the fate of the Grand Prix finalists... you know, presuming the finals ever actually happen.
I'd held out hope that they'd keep Strikeforce operating as a kind of "UFC Challengers" feeder league, but its days are now looking pretty numbered. The UFC has already poached four of the five male champions, to date only one of those vacancies has been filled, and there's no apparent plans for the rest. The defection of Melendez would leave Luke Rockhold as the sole remaining champ, and the only one that the UFC's probably not much interested in. As for the female champs... sorry ladies, I'm afraid there's no remaining lifeboats. Begone with ye to Bellator, I suppose.

WebSite focused on the UFC & specifically Dana White! The Website "UFC = Unfit For Children" http://www.unfitforchildren.org/
It is interestingly enough "Website maintained by Culinary Workers Union, Local 226."
And they indicate to concerned visitors of the site "Concerned About Dana White? Contact us at UnfitForChildren@culinaryunion226.org."
They are highlighting a number of things including bring attention to the UFC's Sponsors. Not sure if the Sponsors are going to appreciate the association especially with Dana and his conduct.
Looks like these things are just beginning. It along with many other things could have a big impact on the UFC and it's business with Dana as the front man. I'm am sure there is more to come!
But you have to laugh at Dana's personal Ego - Dana White "I’m the f..king baddest dude on Earth!", aside from the rest of the things he says which are are often way out of line much less just highly unprofessional in any position especially in a role like his, you do have to wonder what he really does bring to the sport in general much less for the company at this point.
Anyway IMO, the Website will only add to the challenges of the UFC and it's business, this could to turn out to be very good for others while the UFC deals with it and the many others challenges it has to and will have.
ProElite Continues its Return with Sylvia vs. Rizzo and Arlovski vs. Fulton

Strikeforce Deathwatch: Lightweight Champion Gilbert Melendez Called up to the Big Leagues
This is the face one makes when he realizes that Cyborg Santos is now his most marketable champion.
Some of you may have been surprised when you read that the UFC has apparently called Bigfoot Silva up to the majors. Not only was he coming off of a loss, but there were better fighters out there for the UFC to call up. Well, don’t worry. The UFC has called up arguably Strikeforce’s best fighter, lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez, according to a report on MMAJunkie.com. Melendez was scheduled to defend his title against Jorge Masvidal on December 17, but it is yet to be seen how this announcement will affect that. So yeah, don’t worry about the UFC not calling up Strikeforce’s best, most deserving fighters. Unless you love Strikeforce and don’t want to see it go under. Then by all means keep panicking.
The date of his UFC debut, as well as his opponent, has yet to be determined. However, according to the aforementioned report there is the possibility that Gilbert Melendez will get an immediate title shot. If that’s the case, I can’t really make sense out of that. Nick Diaz getting an immediate title shot made sense, given that Georges St. Pierre essentially cleaned out the welterweight division. However, the lightweight division is arguably the UFC’s strongest, deepest weight class. There are already plenty of contenders for the winner of the upcoming rubber match between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. Then again, there’s also the possibility that the Donovan McNabb will lead the Minnesota Vikings to the Super Bowl, so let’s not read too much into what’s possible.
This move shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. We’ve said it before, and it deserves to be said again: Being a Strikeforce champion is essentially being in the on-deck circle for the UFC. Gilbert Melendez, currently riding a five fight win streak with notable victories over Josh Thomson and Shinya Aoki, has essentially cleaned out Strikeforce’s lightweight division. If there’s nothing left for him in Strikeforce, and we’re officially finished pretending that Strikeforce has plans to grow as an organization, then why keep him in the minor leagues?
As for the scheduled bout with Jorge Masvidal, I say let Jorge fight Pat Healy on December 17th. Let it be for all the Rockstar energy drinks that the winner desires. And don’t declare the winner your “new lightweight champion”. It can only end with the winner on the prelims of an upcoming UFC card and you frantically trying to find a new champion.

I would think it's fairly typical for Office Space and I get the idea from the 8k that they might have been paying much more than that before. That's my guess.
I think it's a good indication the company stabilizing and growing which is good. Honestly, I would want them to have a half decent work space for alot of reasons including presentation and if it helps get thing done! I'm in. How many times have Investors much less Clients and Partners went to a "Corporate Headquarters" and they found either it's a Mailing address only or it's in the back of a warehouse. That doesn't at all build confidence in the company or it products. That's my opinion and if you want play in the big leagues you have to look the part or your will not attract anybody including people who want to or will work for your company including top Name and Brand fighters, You won't be attract TV Partners and Product Sponsors for your Events and the public will value based on that which is all bad. So I think if it sustainable great and it's lot better than month to month including the fact it is an indication that the company plans on being around for a while and appears to growing.
Go ProElite
And so begins another Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament!
Friday, September 30, 2011
The recently revived ProElite MMA announced today that they will be debuting their version of a Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament. The event is slated for November 5th, 2011 and will be held at the i Wireless Center in Moline, Illinois.
No fighters have been officially announced for the Grand Prix, however the event is buoyed by a couple of popular MMA fighters familiar with the big stage:
Andre "The Pitbull" Arlovski (#27 Ranked) vs. Travis "The Ironman" Fulton (#133 Ranked)
and
Tim “The Maineiac” Sylvia (#37 Ranked) vs. Pedro “The Rock” Rizzo (#23 Ranked)
Arlovski and Sylvia have already met 3 times (in the UFC) with "The Maineiac" holding a 2-1 advantage over "The Pitbull." One might assume that if both of them can get past their upcoming opponents, that they may face each other sometime in 2012 for what would be the fourth time. One can also assume that the winners of the 2 bouts will probably face off to possibly crown the ProElite Heavyweight Championship?
The nice thing about the timeline, is that ProElite announced their Grand Prix will feature "eight of the best young (MMA) fighters in the world and conclude after three events." This should give time for the organization to cultivate their talent, while the four veterans fight it out in the "veterans bracket."
ProElite's first event in August of 2011, which featured Arlovski, was a went off without a hitch and also featured the successful MMA debut of BJ Penn's younger brother Reagan Penn.
ProElite seems to be taking things slow (the right way) and building back an organization that was run into the ground by previous management. Time will tell if the this new version of ProElite MMA (being dubbed as ProElite 2.0) as well their version of a Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament is a success. While the star power might not be as big for the ProElite version of a Grand Prix, MMA fans know that stars can be born and careers made in a Grand Prix style MMA tournament.

Hey! How's it going! Been watching the chatter on your Board here as well as watching the PR's and thinking the same. Not sure when this company will make change that will matter and I am not sure they know. I guess they can fool some with some of their stuff that they do put but it really is Same old, Same old. LOL! Hope it improves at some point.
ProElite 2 Set For November 5th, Sylvia vs. Rizzo, Arlovski vs. Fulton Headlining
by Tim Burke on Sep 30, 2011 2:00 PM EDT in MMA News
The new ProElite has locked down the details for their second card since re-emerging on the scene. The show will take place at the iWireless Center in Moline, IL on November 5th, and will feature two heavyweight bouts on top. MMA Fighting has the 411:
The main event is expected to be a heavyweight bout between former UFC champion Tim Sylvia and three-time UFC heavyweight title challenger Pedro Rizzo. Additionally, fellow former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski will fight Travis Fulton, regarded as the busiest fighter in MMA history with more than 300 career fights.
Also expected on the card is the start of an 8-man heavyweight tournament featuring Mark Ellis, and bouts featuring Reagan Penn and Tara LaRosa. Promoter T. Jay Thompson says that a fourth meeting between Tim Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski "isn't in their plans right now, but could be down the road". They are negotiating to have the fight broadcasted on HDNet right now, but nothing is finalized as of yet. The show had been scheduled to take place in Atlantic City, but scheduling conflicts forced them to find a new venue, which just happens to be very close to where Tim Sylvia lives and works as a police officer.

Sylvia-Rizzo, Arlovski-Fulton headline ProElite 2, eight-man HW tourney on tap
by Steven Marrocco on Sep 29, 2011 at 2:20 pm ET
The resurgent ProElite has inked Nov. 5 for its next major event, and two ex-UFC heavyweight champions have taken co-headlining fights.
Five-time champ Tim Sylvia (29-7) meets Pedro Rizzo (19-9) in the main event while three-time champ Andrei Arlovski (16-9), who headlined the promotion's first event in August, meets journeyman Travis Fulton (247-48-10).
ProElite 2 takes place at the 12,000-seat iWireless Center in Moline, Ill., which is a stone's throw from part-time cop Sylvia's home.
Broadcast plans for the event have yet to be announced, though the promotion is in talks with HDNet to air the second event and additional ones, sources close to negotiations today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).
An eight-man heavyweight tournament also is targeted for the fall event, as ProElite veteran and planned participant Mark Ellis (1-0) today told MMAjunkie.com Radio. It's unknown what position the tournament bouts would take on the card, a source said.
Additionally, ProElite veterans Reagan Penn and top-ranked women's flyweight fighter Tara LaRosa are expected to fight, according to MMAFighting.com.
Sylvia, who serves as an auxiliary officer on the police department in Milan, Ill., makes his promotional debut after recently getting back in the win column in August. In a super-heavyweight bout typical of the ex-champ's chosen weight class as of late, he knocked out Patrick Barrentine in regional competition. A highly publicized bout with "The Ultimate Fighter 10" veteran Abe Wagner, which he expected would put him closer to a his goal of returning to a major MMA promotion, ended in heartbreak when Wagner stopped him with strikes in the first round.
Rizzo, meanwhile, hasn't fought since July 2010, when he leg kicked the nearly expired Ken Shamrock into submission for a TKO win at "Impact FC 2: The Uprising" in Australia. It was his third consecutive victory with additional wins over Jeff Monson and Gary Goodridge.
Arlovski snapped the worst losing streak of his career in ProElite's inaugural event after stopping the unheralded Ray Lopez with strikes in the August event's third round. Four consecutive losses – which came against Fedor Emelianenko, Brett Rogers, Antonio Silva and Sergei Kharitonov – took his stock to new lows, and he was released from Strikeforce in the spring following the knockout loss to Kharitonov.
Arlovski has long coveted a fourth fight with Sylvia, who avenged a 2005 submission loss to the Belarusian by handing him a pair of losses that took his UFC belt and closed the door on another run at it.
Fulton, who's fought 305 professional bouts (and possibly more than don't appear on his official record), is currently on a two-fight win streak in regional competition. He's 31-3 since early 2008.
Check back with MMAjunkie.com for updates on the card as they become available.

Proelite announces matches for second show in Illinois
By The Fight Nerd on Sep 29, 2011 in News
According to a report from Cage Potato, Proelite is making matches for their sequel, and some things are changing quickly, namely who their two biggest names will fight.
The original report from the site said that former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia would meet in the main event of this next event, but those plans have been scrapped for this event (although if both men win, chances are they could be meeting down the line). ProElite had originally planned to hold its next show New Jersey, but evidently decided that Illinois was a better fit, considering Arlovski lives and trains two hours west of Moline in Chicago and Sylvia is a part-time police officer in Milan, less than 15 minutes away from the venue.
According to the report, Sylvia will be taking on another former UFC champ instead, Pedro Rizzo in the show’s main event and Arlovski will square off with journeyman fighter Travis Fulton (247 – 48 – 10 1 NC ).
The Fight Nerd asked Proelite President T. Jay Thompson for more info on the change of venue as well as HWGP, which he responded with: “We were looking at AC very closely. A great number of factors go into choosing a location/venue. For November 5th the best location was the I-wireless Center. Though we would love to bring the ProElite brand of MMA to the east coast soon. The Pro Elite Heavyweight Grand-Prix will kick off on November 5. Competitors will be named in the coming days. ”

I agree as well! No big Deal! You can bet between POW, NBC and especially the NHL they all have this well in hand and in any case they will handle it and any claim made. IMO there is no chance of this being an issue whatsoever as you can bet the Legal Teams went over the whole thing with fine tooth comb before even launching the whole concept. It is not unusual for people and company's to come out of the woodwork to make "claims" about things they did or didn't do, much less the actual ideas. There are also lots who attempt to engage companies with existing concepts, looking for opportunities to present there own elements to these concepts then they try to lay claim to the original "concept" or "idea" as their own.
This ain't the NBC's, the NHL or for that matter Stan's first Rodeo! They have been part company's worth Billions dollars! They will continue the course with the momentum already building and head for a big push during the Hockey Season now underway! IMO.
Go POW!
Nice! Looks they are up looking to ramp up seating capacity with the size and location of the venue for this Event!
The i wireless Center is a potential 12,000-seat arena!
Interestingly enough the Centre has held a number of other big MMA Events in the past including Promoter Monte Cox's Adrenaline MMA featuring Pat Miletich vs Veteran Challenger Thomas Denny who also was a ProElite Fighter! Along with the likes of Ben Rothwell, Mike Russow, Pat Curran and L.C. Davis. Wonder if Monte has a hand in setting this Event up!
Go ProElite!
Expecting the upcoming days to be big and the upcoming month to be huge with momentum building not only for the next Big Event but steps for the company and Stock!
Any day/minute we can expect to be hearing confirmation and some details on the next big Event thought to be slated for Nov 5 /2011 and we are a little more than a month away! I expect Promotional material along the actual Fight Card Information to be released throughout the month and leading right up until the Event!
We know some sort of a story was being done with the company in Sports Illustrated! This is going to be huge and raise alot of attention!
We know ProElite will be featured in the brand New Hawaii 5-0 Season and Episode 6 in Oct thought to be airing on the 24th with Mixed Martial Arts & MMA Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell playing a ProElite Fighter! This all takes place at the location of the last Event as well as some upcoming Events for ProElite the Blaisdell Arena.
The Episode will be airing on CBS!
We also should expect to hear information on the bookings for further Event Planned for early January 2012 and potentially another one also in Dec of this year as well!
Go ProElite!

Agreed! Looks good on them and no one should underestimate Spike's plan in doing this is also to up the ante in terms of getting out of the UFC business but not without being paid big to do so and they are clearly not happy about the whole Fox Deal while being the station that saved the UFC and their 40 million debt of the day. The word being they are quite interested in making this a war.
Dana has recently said he plans on leaving the the Ultimate Fighter on Spike and this is primarily because he does not want to pay Spike to get out of the Contract which does not technically end until next year. In the meantime everybody knows he will use the platform on Spike to PUSH and promote the UFC on a major competing Network. Spike is not happy at all and will make them pay either way but the real question is which will really cost them more and as specially as and when Spike Counter-Programs the UFC with their own footage much less the Ultimate Fighter Product.
Also keep in mind Spike is also under the corporate control and ownership of Viacom who also owns MTV2 the current home of Bellator who are waiting to jump over to Spike if and when the UFC vacates it which will be eventually either way as Spike has no plans to continue the Contract when it does eventually run out as it now knows the plan of the UFC to compete with them with no intention on keeping the product there either.
The other interesting factor is also the other Viacom properties which include CBS and ShowTime where again everybody knows the UFC has stolen at will and will continue to steal from Strikeforce any and every bit of talent that might otherwise draw it's own viewership to it's station as well as has no real plan to continue any real investment in Strikeforce, making it a dying product with no future and huge declining viewership.
The other key factor being that CBS also has substantial investment of it's own in this other MMA company and product who will be competing for it's own viewership and market share with this company known as ProElite who is currently negotiating hard for a Broadcast partner plans to have one in place by it's November 2011 show, is discussing a December 2011 show as well as already does have a plan for a Jan 2012 show as well as a number of other shows in the works for 2012 as it sits. And if a Deal is not done with them they will otherwise may end up on another competing network and that would not be for them good them either. Hmmm.....!
This is getting good and I think is only going to get better as the UFC is forced to battle on multiple fronts including a huge battle with the US government and the Labour Unions. And lets not forget the interests of the other Stations such as ABC, ESPN, NBC and potentially HBO who are all big players with big interests in viewership uping the competition for that viewership.
Go ProElite!
Spike TV will counter-program UFC on FOX special on Nov. 12
by Jesse Holland on Sep 26, 2011 11:43 AM EDT in UFC Programming
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may be done with Spike TV at the end of this year, but don't expect the cable television network to go down without a fight.
UFC on FOX, featuring a heavyweight title fight between reigning division champion Cain Velasquez and number one contender Junior dos Santos at 9 p.m. ET on Nov. 12, 2011, will be the first televised special under the UFC's new long-term broadcast deal with the mainstream network.
Spike TV, who still retains rights to the UFC library of fights, will also bring Velasquez and "Cigano" to the airwaves with a programming block of "Unleashed" titled "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez: Unleashed for the Heavyweight Title."
In addition, Viacom's MTV2 will try to get in on the act prior to that from 7-9 p.m. ET with a live two-hour fight card featuring the welterweight final in the Bellator Season 5 tournament.

He will live to fight another day much less then get to again Promote the Brand! It's all good Homes"! LOL!
Go MSLP!
First of all your NON-information is completely false and interesting enough can't back up your comments with any real information.
The information that is provided in the article you did provide a link to indicates "Quinton Jackson has been training at the MusclePharm gym in Denver for the past two months, as part of a personalized training camp that has cost over one million dollars. (Not all of that came out of his own pocket, thankfully.)"
The other known and main contributor to the cost of the camp Jackson for the UFC 135 Event( in which Jackson is part of the main Event ) is the actual Fight Camp he Trains with and for is The "Wolfslair" who paid for most of it along with Jackson and yes Muscle Pharm does appear to have provided some sort of deal or arrangement for the use of the facility as part of their Fighter Endorsement Deal with Jackson in which in effect would have some sort of cost associated with it but it reality had not not necessarily in any way included any actual dollars and to this point I have not seen or heard anything that implied in any way it did.
So your comment and point highly if not totally misleading but good try!
But to answer your question to me, Yes I'm cool with that!
Great publicity for the facility since it is there anyway and this will help with the very important Brand Recognition and Brand Association for the buying public with the top athletes wanting to train there. It also may help create potential revenue and/or be least be cost neutral in support in kind to actual financial support to athletes where Endorsement Deals may exist while attracting the top athletes to the brand just for that privileged of use of the facility!
Go MSLP!
For sure! Got to give big credit to the company for taking decisive action.
You do know that was posting from a year ago dated in 2010. My issue is it is now 2011 and we are headed for 2012 and whom ever wrote it did not even include their name! I have trouble with anything that old as many things have changed since that time and a source who chooses not include their name is not someone I would personally choose to buy from whether their point was valid or not! IMO.
I actually agree with you as well! I think he would be fine and I know that T Jay actually still thought Kimbo had great potential on other parts of a solid MMA card but did not think he was anyone at this point who should be a headliner.
Rampage Jackson prepares for Jon Jones at the MusclePharm Facility

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who will look to dethrone Jon "Bones" Jones this Saturday night, gives MMA H.E.A.T. an exclusive look into his training and preparation for the bout at the MusclePharm facility in Denver, Colorado.
Just four days out from the title clash, Jackson's trainer, Tiki Gohsen attests to reports that "Rampage" is possibly in the best shape of his career. In addition to his desire to recapture the 205-pound strap, Jackson has credited his renewed motivation to the 35,000 square foot training center, which he has called home for much of his camp.
That and potentially other things that might lead or be part of the release by all Brokerages on the hold which I think is not too far off but again can't come soon enough. Continued Reporting and the Filings are definitely a big step in the right direction in addition to major company moves showing business activities leading to growth and revenues is always good on all accounts for the company and Stock. IMO.
Go ProElite!
Absolutely! All great News with more on the way! The Guardian Project we know is getting ready for large mainstream push though and with Promotion from the NHL probably gearing to launch in big way in the 2011-2012 Hockey Season. A Movie Deal is very close to being done and a ton of other Projects on the go with all that and more, this is going to huge for the Company and the Stock!
Go POW!
