Happy Easter, Kiel. And Happy Easter to the others that post on this thread.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: Dr. Phan. . .We've trusted you and waited a long time ~~ please deliver. Bad markets are one thing, but bad kharma is another. A StreamingAsia IPO would certainly heal a lot of wounds.
Have a very Happy Easter, everyone! I would not think that CHAG will have anything significant to report until next week, at the earliest. The volume dry-up today, was not that far out of the ordinary (considering this market we're in!). In fact, volume dry ups often preceed major runs in a stock's shareprice. However, it doesn't appear that anything is following historical patterns in this market LOL!
Okay. . .EZ. . .remember two words. . ."natural gas."
Lets hope the best for all the longs. With all of these new "oil companies" emerging. . .one has to wonder if we're entering the next phase of a market bubble ~~ which won't happen, simply because. . .too many were burnt on the tech bubble of 99' and 00'. At least we'll grow in increments instead of leaps.
Peace. . .and catch you all on Monday. . .
M&M Man
Hi wjr!! Congratulations on the new baby! I haven't heard anything new today beyond what has already been posted (the potential of a new report on production, coming soon). Will keep you all posted if anything comes up.
Keep the faith! And congrats!
Peace,
M&M Man
Hi Mcenulty ~~ LOL! Perhaps we'll have more posts on this site than we had trading volume on this day. Anyway, good to see you over here. Lets hope we have plenty to talk about ~~ in the near future.
Peace,
M&M Man
Hi Arch ~~
It is much more relaxed in this neighborhood. This will probably be the site where future shareholders in CHAG will have a reasonable conversation/dialogue without getting the psycho bashers/market manipulators aboard. We'll give it time. But I think we're on target by getting ready now (for the big one LOL!).
Anyway. . .great to see you here. I'll keep you all posted if I find any other news on CHAG. Lets see how far this little puppy can go.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: EZ ~~ I "read" and I obey LOL!
EZ ~~ Something must be going on with that one. I need a couple days to read up on it and find out about it. Perhaps, they would be a good partner for CHAG LOL!
Keep the faith!
Mark
EZ ~~
You're not going to believe this. . .I'm actually due a refund from the Feds LOL! I sold all of my losers last year (and a couple winners) along with buying a new home. Had good write-offs secondary to my travel and expenses for purchasing my home and efforts for a charitable foundation. AND ~~ I got to use my last year's tax payment for the state of California as a write-off this year. I sure wish I could have used the FED payment I made last year! Anyway. . .
The house is coming along well. I injured my back (again) so I'm taking it easy (lots of heavy lifting ~~ bricks, rocks and the like) for a week or so. Cindy and I are slated to get married in July (probably in Utah ~~ where my parents live) and we're still contemplating where to go for our getaway.
Now. . .CHAG ~~ Lets hope, once and for all. . .that we have found an OTC BB stock here that is worth holding. By the way, khfspring on the Raging Bull's site (which is now very much a "second place" to the ihub message board) posted that the AMEX listed company and CHAG should be releasing news within the next couple of weeks. There is apparently a small matter of about 20 million dollars that needs to continue to be discussed LOL!!~~ I'll keep you posted if I can dig anything else up.
Peace
M&M Man
Just a tidbit for Investorman and EZ ~~
Insider selling does not always indicate that a company has internal problems. "Insider selling" is often not, "insider selling" but rather a sale of stock that was acquired from the company rather than purchased over the counter. Also, there are sales that stem from individuals within companies (of stock) for the mere reason to adjust their own portfolios, and to take some cash off of their table. Quite often, it has nothing to do with the health or wealth of an organization. Take for instance Bill Gates and Michael Dell. Have you guys watched how many shares they sold in the past two years? Did it mean they felt their companies were bad or not healthy? No. Not at all. It's merely moving capital in accordance with their own investment strategies.
Anyway. . .peace, and lets hope now that the American crew members are safe. . .the world can once again focus on getting along with each other and HRCT can build their dream.
M&M Man
Update & EZ ~~ I for one am not familiar with that company. It sounds interesting. The question I come up with is ~~ "If their mechanism for increasing oil production is so successful, why are they on the pink sheets?"
Just an observation ~~
Anyway,
Here's the latest note that the CHAG club members received from Tom Bustamante:
*****
hey guys, i just talked to Ashraf a few minutes ago....and things sound great. I was told that acidization was complete on a few wells, and is continuing on the others. 2 wells were turned on and oil was flowing. Remidal work continues on the other wells as well.
The company wants to just verify & touch bases with a few people to make EXTRA sure that things are in order...a formal announcment will be released from the company shortly. Will keep you guys updated!

Treasureseeker. ..Yes. .eom.
afceast ~~
The low volume is primarily due to lack of attention in the OTC BB sector. Investors are not willing to put "risk" money into the markets. And, there is also a high degree of belief that there are good values out there in both the Dow and the NASD. I don't follow the AMEX but consequentially, the belief is probably the same.
We'll see an increase in volume as CHAG continues to develope properties. . .and increase their revenenues. Should CHAG actually attain a merging agreement with this reported AMEX company they are dealing with. . .an increase in pps could happen quicker than one may think. I'm just going to continue watching the company and EXPECT good results. OTC BB stocks are always high risk. I'm willing to take the risks, with this one. Lets see how management of the company will be able to deal with this market.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: It will probably take at least 6 months to get the remainder of the Kansas property going. My focus is on the natural gas. My estimate is merely speculation. I hope management can deliver sooner.
Very nice chart signals for those who are interested:
Although the spread is wide, it appears the stock is positioning for the next upward slide ~~

PS: Treasureseeker ~~ sorry I didn't have time to highlight the radio interview "high points" with Bill Stinson. By the time I had "time" ~~ news already hit the market that production was underway. I'm still watching very closely. Will keep you all informed if I dig anything else up. Would appreciate some postings on the world-wide oil situation so we can stay abreast of the demand for crude. Also, any recent articles on natural gas shortages would be nice. Come forth Glass Mountain! ~~ Right now. . .time to complete my taxes (yuck!)
EZ ~~ Will you please delete my previous message, the POS person's message that I responded to (since once again, it is clearly falsified information) and this message when it's all said and done?
Thanks.
M&M Man
Well. . .if it were my message board I would have deleted your BS. Anyway. . .you never seem to be able to find the facts ~~ but I won't slip into your useless world of BS. The chances are very good that ~~ nevermind. Those who "know," know. Those who "never will know," never will. Easy as cake.
M&M Man
Oh ~~ by the way FU for the commentary on the name calling.
Minddoc ~~ That's good news for SA's future. However, until we know something about SA's IPO ~~ how can this news effect HRCT's PPS? Nonetheless. . .it's nice to hear the update on SA. Lets hope for the best.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS ~~ This site is working a LOT better than Raging Bull. Everyone should tell their friends and neighbors about these message boards. They are much faster and much more appropriate in content.
Stay life's course!
M&M Man
EZ ~~ I believe that's a pretty good evaluation. It will be interesting to see how much oil the Kansas property ends up producing. It could take several months before anything is known about the KY properties. I know we've heard it in "months," but knowing how the legal system works. . .I would say that if someone wanted to battle hard enough over the ownership rights ~~ it could take substantially longer. One step a time, however. One step at a time. Hopefully, this will be one of the very FEW companies that states they are in merger talks to get off of the OTC BB ~~ that will actually end up making it.
Keeping the faith. . .
M&M Man
Treasurechaser ~~ You're welcome, LOL! Anyway, I wouldn't give one ounce of credit to that individual. That market report was provided to the market prior to my reading it, I can assure you of that. In fact, I took that from a post on the Raging Bull's site.
Everyone: Tom Bustamante is probably the closest you will get to attaining quick updates on CHAG. He typically posts on The Raging Bull and at CHAG's website under the "CHAG Club" reports. The radio interviews are also well worth listening to (with Shane Rodgers and other CHAG execs). Anyway, I look forward to hearing anything pertaining to the volume of oil beginning to flow from the pumps. Keep us informed if you find anything out.
Peace,
M&M Man
Notice to bashers and anyone else out to make false accusations. Mindless pradle is not permitted on this message board. If you'd like to invoke stupidity into a conversation, the Raging Bull is the site for you. Here, we will be sharing diligence on the company (CHAG OTC BB) amongst CHAG shareholders. Others are welcome to join in the conversations permitted they are mature enough to act as adults. This message has been posted because of message on this board that needed to be deleted secondary to wrongful accusations. Any basher or other that cares to make false and misleading information about CHAG's operations will be reported to the company. Hopefully, by every long term investor the company has.
Okay. . .everyone, keep the conversations to the maturity level and be careful out there.
Peace,
M&M Man
EZ ~~ Fair warning. . .now that you've wished the RB board goodbye (on HRCT's thread), be careful. There are about 1/2 dozen longs that will cut your liver out if you should ever go back.
Anyway. . .folks. . .that are willing to listen without crucifying one another (and I know there are a couple of you here that continue to boast of your confidence in OTC BB stocks) ~~ we may be in for some very bad times. Nonetheless, I still believe HRCT will succeed in the long run. Now, don't get me wrong. . .that doesn't mean I feel the need to hold any stock issue through market turmoil. Not this year, anyway. Just letting some of my family and friends know to keep their guard up. If the markets are going down. . .continually, for another month or two. . .there is nothing any of us can do. Just be careful out there. Even companies with earnings are taking a beating.
Peace,
M&M Man
Chancellor Group Begins Oil Production at Kansas Field
LOS ANGELES, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Chancellor Group, (OTC Bulletin Board: CHAG - news) announced today that it has begun oil production on its oil and natural gas property in Greenwood County, Kansas
Ashraf Khan, Chancellor Group CEO, said pumps on two of the field's wells were started recently and the initial outflow of oil was extremely encouraging. Remedial work including acidization was completed on some of the wells and this process is under way on the other existing wells. Negotiations with the buyers of the crude, Plains Transportation, have been finalized and collection of oil is to commence shortly.
In full production the field is expected to produce more than 2,400 barrels of light crude oil a day from 10 existing reopened wells and 20 new infill wells in addition to more than 10 million cubic feet of natural gas a day.
``It has been a long road with many unforeseen delays and we want to thank our shareholders for their patience in the run up towards production,'' Khan said. ``No one was more frustrated by the delays than we were. Now we look forward to bringing more wells online in the coming year and to begin building our company's bottom line.''
Chancellor Group Inc., currently has 28 million shares of primary common stock issued and outstanding and 36 million shares fully diluted.

Looks like the market rally on the previous day may be short-lived:
March Jobless Rate Highest Since Mid-1999
Unemployment Up to 4.3 Percent; 86,000 Jobs Lost
from Bloomberg News
WASHINGTON (April 6) -- Businesses eliminated workers in March for the first time in seven months and the unemployment rate rose to 4.3 percent, the highest in more than 1 1/2 years, government figures showed.
Payrolls unexpectedly fell by 86,000 during the month, after a revised gain of 140,000 jobs in February, the Labor Department said. The decline in payrolls was the largest since November 1991 when the economy was emerging from the last recession.
Jobs in services declined more than any other month since November 1991 and factory employment fell for an eighth straight month. Companies such as Citigroup Inc. and Delphi Automotive Systems Corp. are firing workers to cut costs as the economy slows, profits slump and the stock market weakens.
``The premier signal of economic distress is job losses -- big ones,'' said Chris Rupkey, senior financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi Ltd. in New York, before the report. ``This may be the tip of the iceberg in terms of job losses. The Federal Reserve will need to stay on the job for a while longer.''
Unemployment rose from 4.2 percent in February and is the highest since July 1999. Analysts expected an unemployment rate of 4.3 percent in March and an increase of 60,000 jobs after February's previously reported gain of 135,000 positions.
Fed officials reduced their benchmark overnight bank-lending rate three times since Jan. 3 to bolster the economy. In the final three months of 2000, the economy grew 1 percent at an annual rate, the slowest in 5 1/2 years. The economy probably grew close to 1 percent in the first quarter of this year, analysts said.
Economy's Effect
Central bankers have said in the last week that the slowdown in the economy would probably push unemployment higher, though they expect economic growth to rebound later this year.
``As long as the economy grows at a rate that is less than that of potential, we're likely to see the unemployment rate move up,'' San Francisco Fed President Robert Parry told reporters after a speech yesterday. ``This is roughly the time when you would begin to see unemployment pressures rise.'' Until growth picks up ``rather smartly,'' pressure on the unemployment rate will continue, he said.
Average hourly earnings rose 0.4 percent, or 6 cents, to $14.17 last month from $14.11. Analysts also expected a 0.3 percent increase in average hourly earnings, after a 0.5 percent increase in February. Average weekly earnings rose to $486.03 during March from $482.56 in February.
Manufacturing
Factory employment fell 81,000 in March, the eighth straight decline, after a 97,000 decrease a month earlier. Delphi said last month it will eliminate 11,500 jobs, or 5.4 percent of its workforce, in the next year as the largest auto-parts maker seeks to cut costs because of slowing demand.
Manufacturing hours held at 40.7 in March. Overtime fell to 3.8 hours in March from 3.9 hours in February. In all industries, hours worked rose to 34.3 from 34.2 in February.
Service-producing employment -- which includes government hiring -- fell 19,000 -- the first decrease since July 2000 -- after rising 227,000 a month earlier. Retail employment fell 46,000 after rising 78,000 in February.
Personnel supply service companies, which provide business with temporary help, eliminated 76,000 jobs in March, the sixth straight decrease.
Employment at financial services firms rose 17,000 in March after rising 13,000 in February. Still, some companies are starting to eliminate jobs.
Citigroup
Citigroup, the largest U.S. financial services company, said this week it's firing several hundred employees to trim costs as the stock market falls. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has declined 8 percent this year on concerns earnings will suffer because of the sluggish economy.
Citigroup's firings follow similar actions this year at other financial institutions, such as Bear Stearns Cos. and Credit Suisse First Boston, which have witnessed a drop in equity underwriting and mergers-and-acquisition activity as the stock market falls.
Construction jobs rose 12,000 in March after rising 7,000 in February and 157,000 in January when workers returned after severe winter weather late last year damped the need for employees.
Meanwhile, the pool of available workers -- which combines the number of unemployed job seekers, plus those not looking for work in the last 12 months who said they would take a job -- fell to 10.3 million in March from 10.4 million the previous month.
The Labor Department also said the percentage of the U.S. population holding jobs fell to 64.3 in March from 64.4 percent in February.
Other Manufacturers
Solectron Corp., the biggest contract electronics manufacturer, said this week it plans to fire 1,075 workers, or 1.5 percent of its workforce, and will close a plant in Georgia because of slowing demand. These cuts are in addition to the 8,200 firings the company announced last month that lead to a $300 million to $400 million charge against earnings for the quarter.
Visteon Corp., the third-largest auto-parts maker, said on Wednesday it will eliminate about 1,800 jobs worldwide, including about 950 U.S. employees, as North American vehicle production slows. Parts suppliers are seeing less demand as the biggest automakers in the U.S. pare production to trim excess inventory.
The government's monthly job growth figures are based on statistics provided by businesses, while the unemployment rate is based on a survey of U.S. households.

Tinberry ~~
China and the US will surely overcome their differences. I do not doubt that. However, our shareprice has dipped down to the thirty-cent range. . .and somebody has been buying at those ranges. They will be selling to take their gains. Now, we need the company to actually deliver something. No doubt, HRCT has delivered many things. . .but we really need strong support at this level to overcome all of those that bought in at "value" and will sell to take "profits."
Well. . .the story could go on and on. I really think EZ is to blame for the market tanking LOL! ~~
Hey. . .everyone else wants to point fingers (take note of the Raging Bull's site). . .why not me?
EZ ~~ You guys made me to be a villian LOL!
Peace my friends. . .
Mark. . .the M&M Man
PS: I am just joking. Other individual's insecurity is based on no man's thoughts or ideas ~~ nor their honesty to their colleagues.
Tin-berrygood. . .
There will need to be a lot of turnover in this price range to move us back up. Lets hope the positive news coming out of China can swing us back towards the more appropriate end of the scale. The market sure finished strong. Can we sustain?
Hmmm?
Peace,
M&M Man
Okay. . .time to get together with OCErnie over a late lunch.
LOL!!~
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: Sorry Tinberry and EZ ~~ but there's really nothing of news to report on HRCT/Enova/SA. I suppose we'll hear soon enough.
I'll tell you what, rip52 ~~ Why don't you have Tinberry and EZ delete all my messages. It would sure save me a lot of time from having to respond to you.
Later. . .

Tinberry ~~ This is a very serious issue that I wish to put to an end. This individual not only posts on the HRCT threads, they continue to play their games with other longs. Now, I'm offering to send OCErnie to China. I'm sick and tired of these people coming in to discredit everything on the face of the earth. Lets shit or get off of the pot. Period. That goes the same with HRCT.
Peace,
Mark
Blah, blah, blah. Your genius is losing credibility.
Peace,
M&M Man
EZ/Tinberry. . .Yikes! My last message disappeared LOL!
Hey. . .I'm serious. . .I'm willing to send the genius to China!
LOL!
Peace,
M&M Man
Brian/treasureseeker ~~ Have you found this thread, yet? If so. . .I have noticed that there is someone posting on the RB site that is of the opinion that a PR should be coming to the market, soon. Then we can get rid of Greenwood's commentary (or at least, discredit it) from the CHAG message board.
Keep the faith. . .I'll keep you all posted on what transpires.
Peace,
M&M Man
Rumor has it that oil started coming out of the pumps, yesterday. The individual that posted the rumor on another message board. . .is reportedly someone with credible information. We may see news soon. Stay tuned
Peace,
M&M Man
There is no doubt in my mind that I do not fully agree with that response. Market makers do not necessarily need to be "short-selling" any stock if a market order is placed for xxxx number of shares. They can bid against one another (based on what someone else has as a "buy" on their budget) and bring the price down to the lowest bidder. Now, placing a "limit" order for someone who is bailing ~~ at xxxxxx amount of shares, or whatever, will assure that price spikes like what happened yesterday, do not occur. Say for instance the stock trades up to 1 1/4. . .and someone decides to sell 10,000 shares. If they place a market "sell" order, they can bet someone is bidding to get in at a much lower price. And on low volume, the market makers can only work with the present bids. If they place a "limit" order to sell at $1.15 per share. . .their lowest execution will be 1.15 per share. It may go all at once. . .or in small increments. But it should not trade below 1.15. On low volume and a major increase in shareprice. . .a market order could take the stock down substantially. It is not "short-selling" that appears to be taking place. However. . .some of the hypothesis could be correct.
Staying life's course. . .
M&M Man
Lets hope we can get this SA IPO off . . .smoothly. Hopefully, that will get rid of some of the "excuses" that stem from everywhere LOL! (Smile as David would say.
Minddoc ~~ Exactly! LOL~~ I guess I should stop beating around the bush ~~ but I know I'm the fool, here. I do believe that HRCT will eventually be something. Possibly, significant. But I truly thought that an American Partner and supportive financing was "secured" for Sinobull. It's probably just my own mind playing tricks on me. However, I'll speak the truth ~~ that cost 50% of my faith in HRCT. The sad thing is. . .one more mistake like those (financing, announcement of American partner, mentioning "big gurus" are coming) and I'm out of HRCT altogether. It's not merely this market. . .it's bad timing on behalf of management since the market sucks, anyway. What management should have considered was that markets change. And they should have listened when they were warned about the bubble. And trust me, I sent notes to everyone at HRCT expressing concerns about a "bubble" in the market. So. . .the statements made after the warnings are a bit frustrating. Particularly now that the market bubble (in the tech sector) has burst. But. . .hey, live and learn, I suppose. Down times now mean "up" times at some other point.
Staying the course. . .
Peace,
M&M Man
Da!~~ There's definitely a lot of things that have gotten my attn over the past couple of months. However, the #1 item is this OTC BB market. Right now, there are companies going under like sand in a tidal wave (on the OTC BB). Welcome to the economical crunch from hell (or the market bubble of 99' and 00'). The quick and dirty of the situation is that companies need to readjust in order to survive. HRCT is doing just that. However, I was of the opinion that we would have a strong financial backing coming into HRCT. That never happened. The American Partner. . .never happened. These, in my opinion, were what could have created a more stable environment for HRCT during these tough times. Right now, I would like to know if anyone knows of a major investor that is putting money into an OTC BB stock. If so. . .could you please keep me posted.
There have been personal attacks on more than Dr. Phan as it pertains to HRCT's devaluation. Investors all over the world are trying to brush blame all over the place ~~ for their lack of intellect in understanding how the market moves. Many feel they have been misled by company reports. . .many companies feel they have been hammered by "bashers" and "cockroaches," many elderly feel they have been taken advantage of by professional stock analysts. But in the end, the only people we have to blame for our foibles are ourselves.
Any person/individual/investor, whether that be a "short term" or "long-term" investor, should understand the concept of selling stock while it is going up. Otherwise, they will be crying while it is going down. I am not upset with HRCT's stock performance, at all. HRCT was one of the best performing stock in 99' and 00'. The chances of "high performing stocks" to continue the trend. . .are much better than other stock issues that never performed. Therefore, I continue to hold enough shares of HRCT to make me a happy man in the future. That is what "risk" and "investing" is all about. Put aside what one can afford to lose. . .take from that table that which is best left in one's wallet.
You know, I can't believe how many people forget the "defensive" plays in a market. And I know for a fact I have posted defensive plays. . .as well as "on the offense" plays, pertaining to my own investing beliefs. Unfortunately, many people base their beliefs on today's technological world. They are swayed by bashers, and encouraged by cheerleaders. Instead of doing the real "book-learning" and "trial-by-error" approach. . .they dive right in to message board reading. That, my friends, is dangerous.
Anyway, Da!~~ You have hit the button right on the nose. I'm most certainly respectful of everything you have to say. You have always leaned towards common sense. . .and based your opinions on what the market knew at those times. However, my friend. . .in a market of turmoil ~~ don't be afraid to jump ship on whatever you need to take off the table. One can always buy back in at a lower price provided they have that particular strategy. But don't get taken by anyone. Never. And for some reason, I feel you won't.
Okay ~~ I'm going to continue to watch HRCT develop and believe that something will come up. My primary disappointments were posted in earlier paragraphs. All the "failed acquisitions" and everything else. . .pertaining to the recent 10!~~ were only a matter of financial adjustment. Had that financing (that I believed was coming) of happened. . .or "the American partner," turned out/up/whatever. . .I'm certain HRCT would be faring a little better during these troubled times. Unfortunately, neither one of them ever came to reality.
Notice: I am not a "defector" of this mission. However, I am not walking through life with blinders over my eyes. I would strongly recommend that everyone keep their minds open to overall market events. . .and set strategies in accordance with their risk level (at whatever age they may be at). Now, that has been stated ~~ AGAIN. . .and will always be stated by this individual. Anyone who is under the age of 40 should eventually see good results from HRCT. Anyone over 60 who holds this stock is probably at a higher risk level. At this point, I'm like many ~~ I just don't know. There are health variables and many other variables (market/company/leadership/earnings/new developments/institutional sponsorship. . .etc, etc, etc) that can change things overnight. However, today's beliefs are based on present events. But there's always. . .tomorrow.
Stay life's course. . .

OC ~~ Are you impressing yourself by showing up on all the message boards and posting false information? Do you actually believe you have an idea what you are speaking about? What is it that you are trying to establish with your rhetoric?
Oh. . .by the way. . .I recently sold 100,000 shares of HRCT, not 60,000 like you posted on the HRCT RB thread. And, yes, at one point in time. . .I would have held the shares for a long time. But markets change. . .circumstances change, and what is based on fact at one given point in time, changes as well. Perhaps that is why the markets are now tanking? No more irrational exuberance. But thanks for continuing to bring my name into the game. It appears that the only person you are targeting are the longs ~~ and those with the cognitive sense to set up market defenses. Which, apparently, you never learned how to establish. But good luck on your way back to wherever it is you perceive yourself as elevating yourself to. Oh. . .yeah, never fall in love with your stocks. Or did you forget that one.

It's amazing. . .the bashers will now proclaim their genius as the market heads down. But to tell you the truth, it's kind of nice not having to sort through their dung on this thread. We're all going to "sell" at some point, and "buy" at others. So. . .let the other threads live on, I suppose. Gotta let the playground children have their day in the sun.
