True, we have overcome some obstacles. Nonetheless, the SA IPO is really wearing many out. During 99' and 00', one would have thought we found the greatest investment in the world. Then. . .the market turned around. Not HRCT's fault, at all. However, their failure to deliver on the SA IPO is leaving many wondering whether everything that was stated to the market was a bunch of "hype." Those who went to China to see the HRCT subsidiaries, should take more of a stance. I do not see many of them around, anymore. And those that do come around, voice their own concerns (with the exception of 1 or 2). I believe it is past time for HRCT to get in gear with their shareholders and inform them of what is going on. Now, since that was mentioned. . .it will probably take place.

Good read from another ihub message thread:

Yeah George. . .perfect example of the Raging Bull's site. Anyway, it was nice to find that CHAG's leadership was willing to listen to his/her concerns. Yesterday's performance on the Raging Bull's thread is exactly why this thread was created. Things will not get better over there. However, in the future, I wouldn't think we'll need to worry about it.
Solution: I think that once the initial income from oil production (CHAG's) is announced, a lot of credibility will be established. Also. . .the tapping into natural gas reserves will be a solid blessing. I don't feel there is much to report, as of yet. But everyone keep your eyes peeled. News could come at any point in time.
Peace,
M&M Man
David. . .
OTC BB market, doldrums. This stock will not be taking off until the OTC BB market begins to gather attention. If there is some sort of AMEX listed company merger, it's all dependent on the merging variables. While it is a good industry, I wouldn't expect much to happen until further development of the Kansas properties and the Glass Mountain projects are initiated. It will take some time. We'll just have to wait and see how management can deliver.
Peace,
M&M Man
wjr ~~ she's a tiny one~! ;)
Anyway. . .has anyone heard anything out of Kansas pertaining to the quality and volume of crude oil being produced? George, if you are there. . .let us know if you've heard anything. I enjoyed Shane's post on the CHAG Club's board LOL!
Peace,
M&M Man
"I'm" should be "Am" BTW. eom
EZ ~~ You're not the only one that thought KOOP was a big listing joke. I can't believe some of "those companies" can pass the listing requirements. Perhaps the NASD should not look at share valuation on a company's stock. They might fare a bit better by setting their recommendations in accordance with EARNINGS and P/E! If the market truly wishes to get back to honest-to-God valuations on stock. . .that is the probably the first step to take. Then, who cares if a company's stock is selling for 50 cents? If they are profitable, they have earned their wings!!! I just can't believe the nonsense in our legal system and the patrolling scouts for our indices. Hey, even this latest political BS between the US and China is so nonsensical it is rediculous. I'm I going to get deleted for posting this message??!! LOL!
Peace,
M&M Man
Thors and EZ ~~ Here's an interesting thought on those articles. The NASD wants companies to keep their shareprice above the $1.00 range. They get warned to bring their shareprice up when it falls below a buck. But any attempt to manipulate the market is scrutinized by the SEC. So it appears the NASD says, "Go get investors or you get delisted!" The SEC says. . ."No information to the market before it's time!" It seems to me that the indices and officiating officers (patrolling personnel) aren't on a similar wave-length. I mean, really. . .how in the hell can anyone expect to get buyers in this market when they have a .com company? By magically creating earnings? I don't think so. There would certainly have to be a marketing event involving paid stock promoters to get the stock prices up. Just a thought, I suppose. How strange. That would certainly be an interesting Master's Degree study LOL!
Peace,
M&M Man
Part II response from CHAG on the CHAG club message board:
"Further to the previous comments, Chancellor management has always been willing and available to answer any and all reasonable questions or concerns in not inconsiderable detail, and we can always be directly accessed via ceo@chancellorgroupinc.com or president@chancellorgroupinc.com, or by telephone in Los Angeles at 310/277 6595.
We have reviewed the amateurish and nonsensical comments posted by the comedians on Raging Bull. For the record, Chancellor is a Nevada corporation and it was incorporated in Nevada many years before the present management team took control of the company. At all times, Nevada Corporate Services Inc. have maintained the registered office of the company at their Nevada address. NCS is a large and well known and well respected financial and legal services company with a large staff of secretarial, accounting, and legal professionals. Never once have we had reason to question their integrity or professionalism. The operations of the company are run from Los Angeles, Kansas, Houston, and Australia. What is the point that the comedians are trying to make? Further, Chancellor management has a considerable investment in the success of the company. Where do these comedians get off by denigrating a fine and committed management team? What is their true motive? For that matter who is their psychiatrist?
It is, incidentally, a matter of record that our principal corporate offices are at #313, 1420 Peerless Place, Los Angeles, 90035. We guarantee the comedians will never have the courage to visit the office, which any shareholder is more than welcome to do. After all, they wouldn't want the facts to get in the way of their story!"
Keeping the faith. . .

1moodyblue~~
Accolades to you! I'll definitely keep an eye on that one.
Tinberrygood: ~~ Have you contacted HRCT recently?
1MoodyBlue: Have you spoken with Yuanta, lately? Can we get an update, if you have.
Others: It appears that the Nasdaq and the Dow have reached their final bottoms and have begun to stabilize (despite the volatility in the past two weeks). I'm hoping that was the final shakeout period. EZ sent me a private email showing me a long-term chart on the Nasdaq. It looks very good. The correction from the market bubble appears to be over with. And as the commentary on that site said. . .no-matter what the price of stocks in the tech sector are, or how gloomy it may be. . .tech companies will be driving the future of the markets. So. . .hang on tight! The next year-and-a-half to two years, should prove most profitable for those with the savvy. I'm sure keeping my fingers crossed on HRCT. Has anyone considered the possibility of a buyout? I know Dr. Phan was planning on retiring at the end of this year. I believe he could stay on target with his desires of stepping aside if he were to sell HRCT. Also, he'll probably yield the greatest result by getting another company with power, influence and capital, involved. This is the right market for negotiations. That's just a thought. . .I hate to be speculative. But I just can't seem to ponder why there has been "0" mention of the SA IPO to investors. Particularly when investors were led to believe the IPO would be complete by the first quarter. . .now, it is 1/2 way through April (in the second quarter) and all we hear is that Yuanta is dragging their feet. Hmmm?
Keeping the faith. . .just looking for some clarity, here.
Peace,
M&M Man
EZ~~ Thank you very much for staying on top of that question that was submitted to the CHAG Club's message thread. Now we can clearly see the agenda of the bashers on Raging Bull. They have absolutely no strength to go on, nor valid facts. Here, we post the "truths" as we collect them from diligent investors and the company itself. Great work, everyone. Looks like things are coming along just fine.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: I use the CHAG Club message board to get the REAL information on this company. Otherwise, it's very easy to make a phone call.
I'd like to know how you reached those numbers? 99%? Perhaps you would like to take the initiative to get a message board set up for longs to be able to read without bashing BS? I, for one, give two-thumbs up to EZ for taking the responsability (response ability) to get this thread going. There's always the Raging Bull's message thread for those of you that wish to place opposition against one another.
Topic: Has anyone heard anything on the SA IPO? Either from speaking with the company or any other media? I believe that Dr. Phan will be returning from Hong Kong, this week. Does anyone have the exact date? TIA.

'SI Bob' Joins Rival Web-Chat Site
After Ouster From Silicon Investor
By Riva Richmond
Dow Jones Newswires
NEW YORK -- Bob Zumbrunnen doesn't just get mad, he gets even.
Mr. Zumbrunnen, known in online-trading circles as SI Bob or SI Admin (Bob), was police chief at stock-discussion site Silicon Investor until he was laid off in February by the Web site's parent company, InfoSpace Inc. The move sparked a user campaign to bring him back, to no avail.
But now Mr. Zumbrunnen, 42, is back in the game. On Thursday, he became operations manager at startup stock-talk site Investors Hub Inc., Tallahassee, Fla., and assumed a new screen name, IH Admin (Bob). From his new home he wants to build the online community he always dreamed Silicon Investor could be.
Investors Hub "reminds me more of the old Silicon Investor than anything I've seen out there, from a philosophical standpoint and from a technological standpoint," said Mr. Zumbrunnen in an interview with Dow Jones Newswires. "We think we will become more popular than [other stock-talk] sites by taking the best aspects of those sites, and avoiding the worst aspects."
Investors Hub promises to be both a kinder, gentler place to talk about the market -- absent spam and personal attacks -- and highly responsive to community complaints and suggestions for improvement. The way it's programmed also makes it "speedy and secure," he said.
A Taste For Worlds Of Passion And Risk
Mr. Zumbrunnen chose Investors Hub after being "inundated" with other offers. It was "basically the site I wanted to write myself," wrote Mr. Zumbrunnen in a message on the site Thursday.
He will be a key figure at Investors Hub, acting as both liaison to the community and one of the site's programmers. He has not invested his own money in the site, but part of his compensation included a stake of less than 5%, he said.
Mr. Zumbrunnen, a resident of a Missouri town with less than 200 inhabitants, which he likes to call "Boogerville," will be "100% telecommuting."
The jump may seem risky considering the current environment for financial Web sites, which are facing both dot-com disdain and a steep stock-market decline. Most message-board sites have seen large drops in usage as surviving online investors seek more reliable educational content. Analysts, and participants like Mr. Zumbrunnen, expect the sites to rebound with the market.
It helps that Mr. Zumbrunnen has a taste for worlds of passion and risk. When he's not immersed in the online stock world, he's racing one of his souped-up Mustangs. "This [cyber-cop] role does test your sanity," he said. "I really only truly relax when I'm on a race track and going as fast as I can go."
It also helps that he apparently found a site with founders who share his vision and will give him wide latitude to act.
"He was basically my golden opportunity," said Matt Brown, the 18-year-old president and co-founder of Investors Hub. When Mr. Zumbrunnen was fired by InfoSpace, Mr. Brown quickly offered him a job, figuring Mr. Zumbrunnen's experience in managing an online community, and his good name in the stock-chat world, would be a boon.
With Mr. Zumbrunnen on board, Mr. Brown could focus on the business. "I don't have the patience to deal with a bunch of kids," he said.
Investors Hub was founded a year ago and is still in the beta testing stage while a number of other tools and stock-research features are developed. Its message boards receive about 800 posts a day, said Mr. Brown. Mr. Zumbrunnen's debut Thursday caused a jump in usage, he said.
Another Product of SI
Mr. Brown is a pure product of the golden age of Silicon Investor, where he was part of an investing club that ultimately became the seed for the site.
He was introduced to stock trading at age 13 by his mother, who was an assistant to a broker. His first stock purchase was ValueJet the day before the bottom fell out of its stock when one of its planes crashed and killed 110 people. Mr. Brown lost most of the $2,000 he had saved during summer vacation.
"That's when I got mad, and I got on the investment boards," to learn about investing, he said.
But Mr. Brown became disillusioned as the quality of the discussions deteriorated. "It's like a trailer park out there," he said. "I don't want to lose what was once there and I enjoyed so much."
Mr. Zumbrunnen and Mr. Brown are of one mind about what their task will be -- "making sure spam and personal attacks are no longer part of investment discussion forums," as Mr. Brown puts it -- and how they will accomplish it: Community self-policing.
"There's nobody that knows the community better than the community. And the community can take care of itself if given the chance," said Mr. Brown, who disdains the "centralized government" style of the leading message-board sites.
The heart of Investors Hub's strategy is the "chairman of the board," the founder of each discussion, who is charged with keeping the conversation clean and on the topic. The chairman may quickly and easily remove spam and objectionable messages and ban habitual offenders. Mr. Zumbrunnen will act as an advisor to the chairpeople as well as the contact person for community-member complaints.
While Mr. Zumbrunnen prefers to be as unobtrusive as possible, he will intrude as necessary. "You try to keep a lid on the pressure cooker," he said. "If you try not to interfere at all, you will have chaos."

Excellent News HUSKER!
Pretty soon the ihub site will be the ONLY place investors go for rational discussion over their investments.
EZ~~Thanks for the discovery!

Believer ~~
Hi Mike,
I was at the HRCT shareholder's meeting in Long Beach. Anyway, good to still have a few shares in that one.
Other: EZ ~~ Thanks for the latest post on the 10KSB update. It should be an interesting week, with CHAG. It will be fun to watch the upcoming news.
Not worried at all about this one. . .
Peace,
M&M Man
Tinberry ~~
I think it's going to be a close call ~~ but things shall come to pass. I, for one, know that Dr. Phan would sell his soul before he lets shareholders down. He does, however, need a couple of strong companies to support him. This "one man band" thing has to go.
Peace,
M&M Man
CHAG 10KSB update as posted on the CHAG club site by executives from CHAG:
"Chancellor Group Inc. today filed its annual report with the SEC for the 2000 fiscal year, on Form-10KSB.
Chancellor in the next 21 days will file its report for the first quarter of fiscal 2001. "
~~~~~
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: Mike. . .great to have you around!
EZ ~~ One good thing about being followed. . .there's a reason. That's all I really know.
Peace. . .and lets "call the ball" like we see it!
Mark
George. . .there are rumors that one of them is an ex-con from LA. He's the one that chases me around the message boards. Allegedly, associated with an outfit nobody prefers to speak about. Interesting, indeed. Anyway, several of the HRCT investors have been taking a good look at CHAG. Most of them are well-aware of the individuals posting on the CHAG site ~~ so they are not intimidated by the twisting of language and distortion of facts from the past. . .by applying them to the present condition of the company. That is exactly why the ihub board was created. Because when CHAG does begin their success story. . .those naysayers will become more prevalent. I'm not sure whether they work for market makers or illegitimate pumpers/dumpers. But they are obviously employed by someone. At any rate. . . .I'm not too concerned. Two years ago one of those dudes was all over the HRCT board, predicting HRCT's demise. . .and the stock ran from 30 cents to over 20 dollars. Oddly, they disappeared while the stock ran. Then, they came back to pledge their allegiance to stupidity (professing to have been the harbinger soothsayers from the past). Weird. Just weird.
Anyway. . .we'll find out who is right in about 12 to 18 months. And I can assure you, this will be the site where the real concerns of the company will be discussed. The Raging Bull will turn into the same bozo outfit it has always been (with CHAG) as the company progresses. Hopefully, we'll get off of the OTC BB (that they obviously make attempts at manipulating), soon.
Peace,
M&M Man
Ray ~~
I read your post on the Raging Bull's site. I'm also wondering if the 10K was brushed aside during negotiations with the AMEX listed company. Why else would the executives risk going to the dreaded "E" land? Particularly since they are beginning to show some market attention on their shares/company. I've also been monitoring what LBJ has been posting on the Raging Bull's site. One of the greatest reasons for a company to keep a "clean slate" is so that when the critics come along (many are hind-sighted) they will expose everything bad about the company (from the past). We'll have to see if CHAG's execs can keep the focus forward.
Anyway. . .will be nice to hear an update this coming week. Lets hope all went well with Shane's meetings in Australia.
Peace,
M&M Man
kazs ~~
My understanding on the financing is that an initial 50K dollars was provided to CHAG. That is all it took to get the initial pumps going. It would appear that once revenues start coming in ~~ there will be the necessary capital to get the other pumps on the field in gear. Review of the CHAG club's message board will probably reveal a little better understanding of the situation with the financing. And on that message board, questions can be directed directly to Shane Rodgers of CHAG.
It should be interesting to see how the initial flow rates/volumes are on the startup wells. Hoping we hear something next week.
Peace,
M&M Man
cjp01~~
Excellent catch, Chris. That would sure be a neat rabbit to pull out of the hat!
Peace,
M&M Man
Happy Easter, Kiel. And Happy Easter to the others that post on this thread.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: Dr. Phan. . .We've trusted you and waited a long time ~~ please deliver. Bad markets are one thing, but bad kharma is another. A StreamingAsia IPO would certainly heal a lot of wounds.
Have a very Happy Easter, everyone! I would not think that CHAG will have anything significant to report until next week, at the earliest. The volume dry-up today, was not that far out of the ordinary (considering this market we're in!). In fact, volume dry ups often preceed major runs in a stock's shareprice. However, it doesn't appear that anything is following historical patterns in this market LOL!
Okay. . .EZ. . .remember two words. . ."natural gas."
Lets hope the best for all the longs. With all of these new "oil companies" emerging. . .one has to wonder if we're entering the next phase of a market bubble ~~ which won't happen, simply because. . .too many were burnt on the tech bubble of 99' and 00'. At least we'll grow in increments instead of leaps.
Peace. . .and catch you all on Monday. . .
M&M Man
Hi wjr!! Congratulations on the new baby! I haven't heard anything new today beyond what has already been posted (the potential of a new report on production, coming soon). Will keep you all posted if anything comes up.
Keep the faith! And congrats!
Peace,
M&M Man
Hi Mcenulty ~~ LOL! Perhaps we'll have more posts on this site than we had trading volume on this day. Anyway, good to see you over here. Lets hope we have plenty to talk about ~~ in the near future.
Peace,
M&M Man
Hi Arch ~~
It is much more relaxed in this neighborhood. This will probably be the site where future shareholders in CHAG will have a reasonable conversation/dialogue without getting the psycho bashers/market manipulators aboard. We'll give it time. But I think we're on target by getting ready now (for the big one LOL!).
Anyway. . .great to see you here. I'll keep you all posted if I find any other news on CHAG. Lets see how far this little puppy can go.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: EZ ~~ I "read" and I obey LOL!
EZ ~~ Something must be going on with that one. I need a couple days to read up on it and find out about it. Perhaps, they would be a good partner for CHAG LOL!
Keep the faith!
Mark
EZ ~~
You're not going to believe this. . .I'm actually due a refund from the Feds LOL! I sold all of my losers last year (and a couple winners) along with buying a new home. Had good write-offs secondary to my travel and expenses for purchasing my home and efforts for a charitable foundation. AND ~~ I got to use my last year's tax payment for the state of California as a write-off this year. I sure wish I could have used the FED payment I made last year! Anyway. . .
The house is coming along well. I injured my back (again) so I'm taking it easy (lots of heavy lifting ~~ bricks, rocks and the like) for a week or so. Cindy and I are slated to get married in July (probably in Utah ~~ where my parents live) and we're still contemplating where to go for our getaway.
Now. . .CHAG ~~ Lets hope, once and for all. . .that we have found an OTC BB stock here that is worth holding. By the way, khfspring on the Raging Bull's site (which is now very much a "second place" to the ihub message board) posted that the AMEX listed company and CHAG should be releasing news within the next couple of weeks. There is apparently a small matter of about 20 million dollars that needs to continue to be discussed LOL!!~~ I'll keep you posted if I can dig anything else up.
Peace
M&M Man
Just a tidbit for Investorman and EZ ~~
Insider selling does not always indicate that a company has internal problems. "Insider selling" is often not, "insider selling" but rather a sale of stock that was acquired from the company rather than purchased over the counter. Also, there are sales that stem from individuals within companies (of stock) for the mere reason to adjust their own portfolios, and to take some cash off of their table. Quite often, it has nothing to do with the health or wealth of an organization. Take for instance Bill Gates and Michael Dell. Have you guys watched how many shares they sold in the past two years? Did it mean they felt their companies were bad or not healthy? No. Not at all. It's merely moving capital in accordance with their own investment strategies.
Anyway. . .peace, and lets hope now that the American crew members are safe. . .the world can once again focus on getting along with each other and HRCT can build their dream.
M&M Man
Update & EZ ~~ I for one am not familiar with that company. It sounds interesting. The question I come up with is ~~ "If their mechanism for increasing oil production is so successful, why are they on the pink sheets?"
Just an observation ~~
Anyway,
Here's the latest note that the CHAG club members received from Tom Bustamante:
*****
hey guys, i just talked to Ashraf a few minutes ago....and things sound great. I was told that acidization was complete on a few wells, and is continuing on the others. 2 wells were turned on and oil was flowing. Remidal work continues on the other wells as well.
The company wants to just verify & touch bases with a few people to make EXTRA sure that things are in order...a formal announcment will be released from the company shortly. Will keep you guys updated!
Tom
Treasureseeker. ..Yes. .eom.
afceast ~~
The low volume is primarily due to lack of attention in the OTC BB sector. Investors are not willing to put "risk" money into the markets. And, there is also a high degree of belief that there are good values out there in both the Dow and the NASD. I don't follow the AMEX but consequentially, the belief is probably the same.
We'll see an increase in volume as CHAG continues to develope properties. . .and increase their revenenues. Should CHAG actually attain a merging agreement with this reported AMEX company they are dealing with. . .an increase in pps could happen quicker than one may think. I'm just going to continue watching the company and EXPECT good results. OTC BB stocks are always high risk. I'm willing to take the risks, with this one. Lets see how management of the company will be able to deal with this market.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: It will probably take at least 6 months to get the remainder of the Kansas property going. My focus is on the natural gas. My estimate is merely speculation. I hope management can deliver sooner.
Very nice chart signals for those who are interested:
Although the spread is wide, it appears the stock is positioning for the next upward slide ~~
http://host.wallstreetcity.com/wsc2/Chart.html?Timespan=130&0fval0=104&1fval0=216&3fval0...
Peace,
M&M Man
PS: Treasureseeker ~~ sorry I didn't have time to highlight the radio interview "high points" with Bill Stinson. By the time I had "time" ~~ news already hit the market that production was underway. I'm still watching very closely. Will keep you all informed if I dig anything else up. Would appreciate some postings on the world-wide oil situation so we can stay abreast of the demand for crude. Also, any recent articles on natural gas shortages would be nice. Come forth Glass Mountain! ~~ Right now. . .time to complete my taxes (yuck!)
EZ ~~ Will you please delete my previous message, the POS person's message that I responded to (since once again, it is clearly falsified information) and this message when it's all said and done?
Thanks.
M&M Man
Well. . .if it were my message board I would have deleted your BS. Anyway. . .you never seem to be able to find the facts ~~ but I won't slip into your useless world of BS. The chances are very good that ~~ nevermind. Those who "know," know. Those who "never will know," never will. Easy as cake.
M&M Man
Oh ~~ by the way FU for the commentary on the name calling.
Minddoc ~~ That's good news for SA's future. However, until we know something about SA's IPO ~~ how can this news effect HRCT's PPS? Nonetheless. . .it's nice to hear the update on SA. Lets hope for the best.
Peace,
M&M Man
PS ~~ This site is working a LOT better than Raging Bull. Everyone should tell their friends and neighbors about these message boards. They are much faster and much more appropriate in content.
Stay life's course!
M&M Man
EZ ~~ I believe that's a pretty good evaluation. It will be interesting to see how much oil the Kansas property ends up producing. It could take several months before anything is known about the KY properties. I know we've heard it in "months," but knowing how the legal system works. . .I would say that if someone wanted to battle hard enough over the ownership rights ~~ it could take substantially longer. One step a time, however. One step at a time. Hopefully, this will be one of the very FEW companies that states they are in merger talks to get off of the OTC BB ~~ that will actually end up making it.
Keeping the faith. . .
M&M Man
