They announced at the Greenrush conference in TO that they are working with "top experts who have experience with security improvements in big pharma and the military" -- says John Fowler.
I have a video of this speech and would post it up here if I knew how...
Well below .01! LOL.... When the suits are talking about how undervalued we are compared to all the other grow plays in the sector you are saying that we will regress to an eighth of what we're worth.... Who will sell you those petri dish shares at that price? And if we went down to .01 there is something seriously going wrong with the company -- and so why would you enter anyway, as you've said you're quite the guru with penny stocks?
Seriously. Tired of listening to all the panic. We just gotta keep above the .05 and these warrants will be exercised then we can move with leaps and bounds....And other companies have run like nuts because somebody sneezed "I'm getting into marijuana".... But WE have the substance here....F2 is the mothership....
It's interesting watching both sides of the exchange(American and Canadian).
Seems like we (Canada) trade over a million shares and you guys are trading just over 100k by mid day.... Based on that alone we must lose support, but then seem to hold mid .07s and .08 when we have adequate action on both exchanges....
Clearly there are a lot of 'Murricans who have not had exposure to SPRWF yet...and that likely dictates share price....
But I think this is due to the fact that they've not exposed themselves in the US so much, and so that will likely change once the Greenrush breaks down into Seattle:
"We would also like to invite the participants, attendees, keynote speakers, industry and investment experts to attend our next conferences which are slated for Seattle, WA-Fall 2014 with additional conferences in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, other Canadian, US and European cities 2014-2015."
I don't think it failed to grow tomatoes, and according to you it is overrun with bacterial culture -- so if all that can grow then I'm sure MJ can grow in there....and I am sure that Medman is capable of managing 10% of that space since he has done so in the past.
The biggest problem with the greenhouse will be cooling it down, and so they'll need an adequate air-conditioning system to prevent humidity build-up....This can be costly on power....But we'll be getting discounted power because of our proximity to the power plant...
Also, any idiot can grow marijuana. It's much harder to grow in a large space, as with our greenhouse, and so they are smart to section off growing areas to mitigate damage from other areas in the greenhouse.....But yes, any idiot can grow marijuana....However, can you grow, dry, and cure the buds to achieve medical quality and do this every single time? That's the question everybody is asking, and larger growers, in fact the largest grower in the industry, Tweed, is having issues with quality control despite how much money they have in their coffers. The fact that Health Canada has issued a pre-build MMPR to AMMCAN whilst having knowledge of the facility they are restoring tells me that the greenhouse was in fair condition upon acquisition. They wouldn't spend 4.5 million in cash and shares to acquire something that cannot be lifted off the ground.

to me
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in AMMCan!. On the employment side, please forward us your resume and cover letter (as one document if possible) setting out how you see yourself joining our team.
Also, for now we are not yet enrolling patients as we do not know when medicine will be ready for certain. We anticipate having medicine by January 2015 and will begin enrollment in the fall. Please keep us in mind as we believe we can be the best LP to provide you with the high quality medicine you need, at a price you can afford.
Best,
John
Yup, another day to load up pal. Your posts are inaccurate with regard to Supreme's status as a "mining company". They haven't been involved with that for a while, and prior to the MMJ racket they were a pharmaceutical company geared toward developments in combating obesity. The MMJ deal hit them in the face and they decided to shy away from their previous deal (in the obesity sector) in Alberta, Canada.
Zach Stadnyk, son of CEO, David, and CFA of Supreme Pharmaceuticals, spoke with me and told me that the greenhouse wasn't "overrun" with "wildlife" when I asked him about its condition. He said it has been a job to clean up, but they are tailoring their facility to fit the standards of the big pharma industry. They are also sectioning off the facility, since they obviously will not have enough patients when starting out to necessitate the 23,000kg they are approved for....And so they'll be working with 10 percent to 1/3rd of the facility this year and moving up from there. They have sectioned off their growing space in order to mitigate any cross-contamination from one room to another. I have done some serious reading on growing in a greenhouse environment and so I'm aware of the hurdles Supreme will face in setting up this so-called "disaster" that you incredulously speak of....And I can tell you that they are taking the necessary steps to prevent or rectify any "growing pains" as soon as they surface...
The "almost 40-year-old greenhouse" could very well be the best greenhouse in Canada, since it was designed in partnership with the Canadian government for that failed tomato project....They have state-of-the-art glass and are equipped with a pre-build MMPR license which is completely invaluable; especially juxtaposed to the other startups entering this industry.
It is AMMCAN who has the pre-build license on the facility -- not Supreme. So by Supreme's acquisition of AMMCAN they are grouped into the deal. AMMCAN used to produce under the old MMAR program and were therefore pre-approved for the MMPR.
To my knowledge there aren't any other companies who have obtained a pre-build MMPR. I could be wrong, but this is looking to be a pretty exclusive situation....So be thankful you're here and load'er up!
A Canadian company who has previously had dealings in Alberta with regard to their passion in the obesity sector. This company has turned away from this sector in favour of MMJ and trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange with and OTC listing of SPRWF. I fail to see how this is anything less than a Canadian company....And the O/S will not be in the billions like our American cousins.
This post is riddled with incredulity and should be deleted.... They (SPRWF) will not issue any such numbers....
A tax "right off"....I love the way you articulate yourself...Like a preschool grammarian....
The largest pre-build MMPR license in Canada speaks volumes against the babble on this board...
Happy Canada Day everyone!
I'd rather have some paid promotions, Greenrush conference, and other activity advertise for them rather than a 10:1 reverse split to elevate stock price and prove they're worth looking at (for institutional investors). They're trying to get the word out...trying to get larger guys to load the boat...
Once we get our security updates and follow along with the rest of our timeline we'll be running...Just trying to avoid consolidation in the meantime... We'll trump .25PPS once we get that license approved after security updates.
All other companies are in similar position -- waiting on approval -- but the thing is that several WILL NOT get a license because they are too small.... We have the edge with our massive grow facility...and our prices will be unprecedented when you factor in low power costs. You look at other tickers... LXX (Lexaria), Creative Edge (FITX) etc....and they're in similar position....HOWEVER...we have greater resources and greater credibility with a SUPREME facility and a pre-build license because of being connected to the previous MMAR producer, AMMCAN.
With Medman this will be an ideal mix of the suits with the ideal business plan and the grower who has experience with COMPASSIONATE care for MMJ patients and growing quality plants.
Load the boat.
I have confirmation from the Stadnyks that zoning will NOT be an issue with regard to this facility....They're far too remote. There are only around 10,000 people in the town -- so there is no "city" to speak of. The folks are thrilled with the stimulus of facility 2 and the jobs resulting from it.
Tweed on the other hand is rumoured to be having zoning issues with their recent acquisition in Niagara on the Lake...I can't confirm this for sure, but many of us are puzzled at this acquisition....
Your new low price target of .03s is just as ludicrous as the rest of your posts on this board.
Yeah I saw that too. They had some humps at the beginning, but like Parry said yesterday, Tweed has a lot of money to fix their problems.
I think their acquisition was a poor idea, even spiteful towards SPRWF -- "we have the largest facility now...."
But I think they will fix up their issues with money.... Will be interesting to see who dumps after the IPO lockout period is over.
My SPRWF gains will outweigh any possible TWD losses ;)
No worries! I'll message him later this afternoon when I get some meds in me..... Zach was puzzled by the WCC part as well. I showed him the issuance of securities page and he didn't know what to make of it. It was nice talking to him, a very knowledgeable fellow...
Agreed! And they're not PLANNING on it, but are open to it.... They're approved but management wants to avoid it. They are well-staked and are looking for the same gains we are.
You're generalizing here: "only desperate firms engage in it....falls 50%".
Here's a company I made 50% on after a 5 to 1....I was buying around the low $1 range and they consolidated up to 8 bucks then went steadily up to 16 dollars.
Since you're generalizing by talking about all firms, I thought it'd be appropriate to mention a totally unrelated company..........
If we see a reverse split and they're uplisted, then the big boys will get on board (especially with more Greenrush publicity) and we'll see a valuation similar to Tweed. Then you'll have at least a 5-bagger and you can clean all the shit out of your pants.
It has been on their website and also was mentioned in the Parry article, as mentioned by Sillylung. I suggest you do some more DD...
Stadnyk mentioned in his speech how quickly this whole deal happened. He literally was looking at the sector and put out a PR saying "we're interested in the sector". He says their share price took off. Then when he was in Hawaii later that week he got a call saying that they had a facility and the company wanted to do business with them. He then cancelled their previous "promising" deal with a health centre located in BC (I am pretty sure that's where it was) and decided to jump into this. The whole thing happened in about a week....
However, they are one of the only companies who are putting out regular PR and showing evidence of acquisitions/updates. Companies like Satori resources were there -- and their CEO is still heavily weighted in the mining sector (I spoke with her yesterday) -- with little evidence of them moving anywhere. She seemed unsure of herself and her business is to "get phosphate (from mining) into the MMJ for taste and better yields". I don't believe that is an effective plan for one thing, and their booth was pretty dead all day. Supreme was among the most popular I would say, along with already licensed producers like Bedrocan and Organigram. LXX (Lexaria) also seemed relatively popular. FITX was also there and Chris Parry wasn't completely sold on them either; they were not included in his list of plays.
I don't think the reverse split, if and when it happens, will have a long-lasting negative effect on the company.... They aren't just blowing smoke. They are working with purpose and will gradually bring their greenhouse to fruition. With a projected average price of 4.90 a gram, high-grade strains at 8$/gram and compassionate prices of $2.00/gram they will be stiff competitors on the market. They will also be getting half-priced power when they are up and running because of their proximity to the nuclear plant. They'll be able to produce cheaper than anyone under these conditions -- it's just a matter of getting the money to fund the project....They're working hard on it and we'll see a PR when they're done.....They'll be growing in Q4 and selling in Q1 of next year. Greenhouse growing can be expensive to cool with air conditioning/fans, but since they're getting cheaper power they will be, as Parry says, the Wal-Mart of weed.
Now quit bitching.
Yeah I agree with you there. Mostly I've been involved in stocks that undergo ineffective consolidations.....But I've seen it be beneficial too! So if they do a 5 to 1 and get some bigger guys on board then I think we'll be alright....But Zach said management wants to avoid it and they're adverse to anything more than 5 to 1. I think that's a good sign anyway.
The security updates are on schedule. They had to put up a 4km fence around the building. Chris Parry was there as well and of course included Supreme in his top picks, but he also says that he doesn't like grow plays. He suggests the real money will be in the non-grow MJ plays and once we get branding in there and a recreational market opens up (similar to picking out your Starbucks coffee over the hundreds of competitors). It will be interesting! I'm still heavily weighted in Supreme.
Update from the conference:
It was a nice day down there...Stadnyk didn't have much to say during his speech, but instead left most of the talking up to John Fowler. It is very clear to me that Stadnyk is NOT well-versed in cannabis; however, he and his partners are the business brains behind the operation, and Fowler and the Master Grower are definitely the head and the neck. As discussed in the conference, the most successful grow plays will need a conglomeration between these two sorts of people: the "hippy" stoner experienced grower and the big-wig business buff. It's evident that Supreme has both sides working here.
As for uplisting -- I didn't hear anything about that, but I think they're getting decent publicity on CSE....However, I can see an uplisting to TSX if we go through a consolidation....
On the topic of consolidation, Zach Stadnyk, David's son, was telling me that there is potential for a 10:1 consolidation (that's nothing we didn't know already) but management is reluctant to do anything higher than 5 to 1. These guys own shares....They too believe in the dream. I cannot foresee a consolidation to be a BAD thing at all for this company.
On the topic of Warrants.....Zach is anticipating they'll be dumped within a few weeks (especially at the rate thay have so been doing) as long as we're keeping above the .05-.06 obviously.
On the topic of West Coast Capital in the issuance of shares over Facility 2, Sillylung, I am unable to answer anything right now.... Stadnyk wasn't there for the morning and he ended up coming for his speech, then staying for the afternoon, but I ended up mostly talking to his son who assured me that he'd find out about West Coast Capital .Inc tomorrow. I'm going to email him soon and figure out what I can. He didn't have any idea, and so he said he'd need to ask.
Overall I had a strong impression of the company and would say once again that I believe in the plant, the medicine, the industry, and the aforementioned company. They told me what's going on with F2....They're planning on meeting their deadlines....This is quite possibly the BEST greenhouse in Canada and they will be opening up around 60,000sqft to begin with.
Those who are concerned with maintaining a large space need not worry because they have separated several rooms within in such a way that no one room will be able to contaminate another. If there is a problem with one room, they can simply rectify it within and keep it separate from the rest of the grow.
I listened to some greenhouse sceptics today, and they suggested that hydro would be exepsnive when trying to cool down a greenhouse. Keep in mind everybody that because of Supreme's Kinkardin location -- close proximity to a power plant -- they are getting 1/2 price on their powwer. They have absolutely NO zoning issues with the area. People were approaching them with their children's resumes and were particularly excited about the influx of jobs soon to approach the area.
I did hear a rumour (unconfirmed) that Tweed's latest acquisition is in an area which is unfavourable to the locals (and I can see why, in Niagara on the Lake). Apparently they're stinkin' up the place and the neighbours don't want it! I am surprised as to why they'd acquire this facility.
After attending the conference I must say that my only concern for Supreme is, after they establish a greater square footage, how will they go about licensing new growhouse workers? Tweed mentioned today that this is one of its largest trials -- because Health Canada currently has very particular guidelines on such things -- and growers must go through a screening process. I THINK that a lot of Tweed's problems with supply might be due to this factor, and that perhaps Supreme may have this issue in the interim. Though, since they are approved for the whole 347,000 odd sqft perhaps Health Canada will make their process easier for allowing more grow-op employees.
Otherwise is was an extremely enlightening day on other events, such as the benefits of cannabis in medicine and prevention. I'd recommend you all to see it; I believe next stop is Colorado.
There are some duds there too, IMO, and I'd encourage you all to check out Satori Resources.... They had a booth, but they're an interesting company.... I can provide more if anyone's interested.... But NOT a solid venture, IMO.....
I'm going to the Greenrush Conference tomorrow....Bright and early...(better not drink any more vodka)...
Last call for any inquiries! I've got my notepad ready....Gonna plant my ass there and get all the info I can from current -- and new/upcoming -- LPs.... Send me a message with anything outstanding and I will try and get as many words in as I can!
SPRWF!!!
Agreed! This is a genius idea on their end as well:
The talks have been very preliminary to date, but the thinking is to allow a partner company to open without production facilities themselves, perhaps branding Supreme’s product and, with a warehouse and a call centre, a company could cut 80% of their licensing costs. In mining terms, it’s an off-take agreement, and as other companies find they fail to get an MMPR approval, or can’t afford a facility, there may be a huge market in this area.
Saw this on Stockhouse. A lovely read, and it sums everything up. Hold tight ladies and gents.
Man.... I'd hate to have your anxiety!... This is the game -- go for the gains, take the risks, and learn to come to terms with your losses....
In the meanwhile give this thing time to get off the ground.... We're looking for the 10-20x over the next couple of years. Anything that happens in the interim won't matter much.... Likely the Parry article comes out today, but does it matter if it doesn't - really? Not if you're truly LONG on this stock and have faith in management. I'm heading to Greenrush on Thursday and I am confident that my faith will be even more solidified after talking/listening to Stadnyk.
By that I'd rather have Supreme's chart compared to the other two!
I have TWD shares as well...averaged at 3.40... we'll see where we all go...
Not sure where the support is on FITX......
Also, I challenge all the bums that say this will reach five cents any time soon.... .07-.08s will be the base for greatness. Load up now!
Giddyup! Bought my Greenrush ticket -- so I'm gonna scope'er out first hand! Very interested in all the guest-speakers...Stadnyk, Chuck Rifici, Tweed CEO, Jodie Emery (CannabisCulture Magazine), and the BubbleMan! Awesome line-up right there.
Nice one! I finally got some cash by taking just a 1% loss on my Goldcorp shares. Needed to drum up some money...since it's looking like our base is now the 7-8 range....I hope we explode after the Parry article and Greenrush!
Slapped the SL ask at .08 for another 49,000 shares in the RRSP account.... Let's see the BOOM next week please! :)
Yeah I knew it wasn't Supreme that was the acquired company; sorry that was worded a little ambiguously. I was interested in seeing what my portfolio would look like if Supreme were to be acquired by a larger company, but I agree with you that they've got fantastic potential here....Tweed needed to find that efficient greenhouse production for themselves. I think we're in a great spot!
I hope Tweed also ends up being successful over the next couple of years....
Nice post! I like the sounds of that.
Welcome aboard! I'd say that's a nice price you've got there. I'm a bit too high since I got in on all the hype at the beginning... My average is like 3.40...
Won't matter much once we break into the double-digit-dollars!......
And I'm in Canadian dollars...should've factored that in ;)
Hey guys! Just a quick question and somewhat of a digression...
I'm bringing up Tweed (TWD) again since I'm a shareholder and I follow them as well.... But they've recently made an acquisition:
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-investor/news-sources/?mid=cnw.20140619.C7935
...and I was wondering what would happen IF Supreme was the acquired company? If they weren't acquired by TWD and perhaps somebody else even? (Though I think TWD is the only company in that sort of position?) What would be the effect of that sort of an acquisition? Would our Supreme shares fold into TWD shares at something like a 10:1 or whatever the ratio would work out to be based on their respective positions?
Thanks for the info! News on Tweed's movement got me sort of curious!
Happy capitalism!
EDIT : Also just to add :: Looks VERY good on Supreme's end to have bought a greenhouse!!!! Tweed wants in on Mr. Sun as well.
Agreed!
Can't top the pre-approval... Now the market can be nice and narrow -- if they want only 50 more in the next decade and we have a piece of that.... that's a huge business.... And these 50 producers will be the largest recreational suppliers in the country when it kicks off....
I guess this one says it all:
http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/54633/massive-license-puts-supreme-pharmaceuticals-in-medical-marijuana-drivers-seat-54633.html
A repost, definitely, but worthy of reposting!
As long as we are one of the producers!....
This had me a bit worried: "There are more than 600 applicants waiting in the wings to become licensed producers, but the government recently released an analysis of the industry using an estimate of 50 companies over the next decade, which could be an indication that it plans to cap the number of licences it plans to hand out."
But the legwork seems to be done already -- if we've got pre-approval then we should be one of the next incoming, correct?
Then this article is irrelevant to us?:
http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/06/16/medical-marijuana-investor-warning_n_5500383.html
Sell ME some .03's please ;)... Also, nice new display picture.
June 26th, and it'll be for those who would like to make the SERIOUS bucks...
I think Supreme is nicely positioned in this sense...and Mr. Stadnyk is a good talker -- voted top 100 most influential people a while back -- and so I think we'll be seeing some serious interest after the aforementioned date.
We just need more publicity, I think, which should follow after Toronto's GreenRush conference.
"the weather in Canada..."
You're making a HUGE generalization here, and suggesting we don't have varying weather conditions across Canada...
"...not meant for growing weed"
We're known for weed up here pal... The "Beasters" or BC Bud has an almost mythical allure to those who can seldom get a hold of good bud...We grow mad pot up here...
And you've already been corrected on the greenhouse bit...so I'll leave it at that...But that was quite a nonsensical post you have there.
That's an incredulous idea. If our 342,000 sq ft. greenhouse with MMPR pre-approval and recently begun security improvements is not grounds for legitimacy, then I don't know what is.
Your post is misleading and speculative.
