The Rumor on GX/AT&T ~~
To the best of my knowledge, it's just a "may be" thing. An article by Jeffrey Bartash from CBS.Marketwatch.com mentions GX as a potential company worth looking at. The article is poorly written, if you ask me. I can't cut and paste it from my broker (that dumb software they have prevents anyone from copying their PRs). Anyway, not sure what to make of it. No wonder it is a RUMOR! LOL! Anyway. . .360 million cold cash coming to GX. Done deal. How many of you are in?
Peace~~~~~

Ray,
Very strong trading. Notice that the price has reached the upper Bollinger Band. Nonetheless, the stock just keeps heading forward. I've seen that trend in MANY stocks, lately. Take a look at their news (and earnings) as well. They have been awarded contracts that are worth up to 6.6 million. Now, consider the stock's valuation. We have GX that has a cool 360 million coming to their pocket. And there IS a RUMOR that GX may be bought out by AT&T. I'm still trying to chase that one down, however. The rumor may have been the deal with Goldman Sachs. Will keep you all posted.
Peace. . .
Good catch, as always Ray!

Here's the dudes touting SHCC:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why SHCC?
SHCC has established business relationships with FEMA, the American Red Cross, AAA, NOAA, and more.
SHCC is currently booking revenues of $45,000 per month and projects revenues of $13 million for 2002.
Partnerships and market advantage fuel exponential growth for SHCC.
The Time is NOW at Sharecom
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the National Weather Service (NWS), the Red Cross and AAA are a but a few of the agencies and organizations with whom ShareCom Inc. has forged alliances to ensure clear competitive advantage for its product lines. The past 10 years have seen a dramatic increase in severe weather conditionsÿFFFF85and with continued global warming these patterns will exacerbate. Prompted by FEMA and NWS aggressive programs, demand for the CompanyÿFFFF92s NOAA Weather Radio will soar. Today 7% of American homes possess a NOAA radioÿFFFF85 the national goal is 100%.
ShareComÿFFFF92s www.WeatherRadios.com is the site for consumers to purchase the CompanyÿFFFF92s superior product at a significant discount. SHCC's revenue flow rate is at $45,000/month and rapidly growing. The Company will realize a profit this year and plans to triple it next.. SHCC's market dominance in this growing "bread and butter", niche business makes it an interesting acquisition candidate and a compelling investment.
This Just Out: SHCC NEWS
ShareCom, Inc. Ships the First NOAA Weather Radio Featuring Instant Localized Setup
PALATINE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 2001--ShareCom, Inc.(TM), the market leader in designing and manufacturing NOAA (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration) Weather Radio and Disaster Readiness electronics products, today announced availability of its WRP-500 Broadcaster(TM) NOAA Weather Radio, with an SRP of $149.99, available for purchase via its ecommerce web site and through select retailers around the country. Like all ShareCom products, the WRP-500 features a streamlined and fashionable design, coupled with strong price performance.
ShareCom manufactures products which are expressly designed to support the in-place NOAA Weather Network - an always on (24/7) broadcast network that covers 95% of the US. This ``early warning'' network provides general-purpose weather information and alerts for hazardous weather or disaster warnings for people throughout the US.
The Federal Government, The American Red Cross and numerous state and local government agencies are now emphasizing the need for the NOAA Weather Radio network, especially since the September 11th tragedy. A NOAA Weather Radio is now considered as important as having a smoke detector in a home, school or business.
``Our market research indicated a strong need in the marketplace for a NOAA Weather Radio that looks good in someone's home or office, but that has real ease of use built into the overall design,'' said Brad Nordling the CEO of ShareCom, Inc. ``One of the most requested feature enhancements from our consumers has been to provide functionality that enables them to setup a radio right out of the box, with no cumbersome interface to deal with. The WRP-500 Broadcaster addresses this need by incorporating our Graphical Alert Technology(TM) specialty software - our customers now have the ability to easily configure their radios in a matter of seconds using a functional scroll down menu.''
Stay tuned for more announcements to come
Mailings and web site links will offer a group discount to members and also pay a rebate to the organization for every radio sold.
7. The Owner - Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) has begun to promote the discount that is offered through the WeatherRadios.com site. Magazine articles, mailings, and web site links will offer a group discount to members and also pay a rebate to the organization for every radio sold. This agreement will run for one year.
Why Weather Radios are Poised for Growth
NOAA Weather Radios automatically alert people of impending severe weather conditions "24/7". This is especially critical for families while sleeping. These devices are fast becoming recognized as essential and potentially life saving for use in homes, businesses, and critical care facilities.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has stated that there has been an increase in severe weather in the last 10 years and this trend is expected to continue. NWS has a published goal for NOAA Weather Radios to be in every home within the next 10 years. Currently, approximately just 7% of homes have this device. This being said, we can expect a tremendous increase in the presence and sale of weather radios over the coming years. The NWS, NOAA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other government agencies have an aggressive education and funding effort to reach the 100% goal.
New technology called Specific Area Message Encoding (SAME) was introduced in the mid 90s. It allows users to set an alarm only for their specific geographic area. This feature is expected to make this tool commonplace in homes alerting families of weather conditions that pose an immediate danger.
Additionally, 2WayTalk.com will continue to focus on Internet users who are outdoor enthusiasts. The market continues to be strong and growing. FRS Family Radios are now becoming a popular family item on vacations, ski trips, camping, and biking events. They are used for a wide variety of purposes, from staying in touch with children playing in the neighborhood, to coordinating soccer tournaments and antique auctions.
A Final Word About SHCC
SHCC is currently booking $45,000/ month and is conservatively projecting earnings next year of $1.3 million on revenues of $13 million. Unlike most e-commerce ventures, ShareCom's marketing "burn rate" is very modest. The Company forecasts revenues of $32.5 million the following year, increasing profitability to earn $4.6 million. Given its impressive relationships and the rapidly growing market for its product, SHCC's share price of just 1.6 cents makes it a compelling play for the astute investor.
John, thanks! I'll check them out again. My broker isn't really worthy of some of these penny stocks (commissions are too much to make money off of them). I like LFZA because I like the machine. Also like this latest penny. . .SHCC. . .on intution. Olympics are coming! I like the emergency report thing. Anyway. . .was watching TXMC at the end of the day. Watch HRCT, as well. Take a look at the charts. Strange spike today. That usually signals a reversal in HRCT's trading pattern. I'll try to find some hot ones for the morning. Where is everyone tonight?
Peace. . .
Willy. . .remember. . .OTC BB. . .= MOMENTUM! ~~~~~~~~~~~
Archie. . .how about a highlight of the day's events? What does everyone think is going to smoke in the morning? PALM did good in the after-hours. Went up as high as 3.85. Could be a good "watch" candidate during the first 1/2 hour of trading. SHCC. . .I got in on it. Volume was VERY interesting in the last 20 minutes. Way above historical patterns. Remember. . .this. . .always, we are here to find stocks going UP! Why do we want stocks that go up? ........................ Duh!
Peace. . .and. . .
EZ. . .Had to comment. . .Take a look at how the turnout on voting is in a typical election. 57% is a pretty good outcome. Not all shareholders give a hoot! over the outcomes of an election. In fact, I didn't vote on this one. And I hold lots of GTCI (which I still believe is going to be worthwhile). 57%!!!!!!! If one has a company and 57% of employees care enough to vote on important issues. . .they have a great company!
Hey John. . .PALM is up to 3.65 in the after-hours. That Laforza is getting closer! Okay. . .back to stocks. Man, that SHCC is driving me nuts. I'll be up all night doing research on that one. Under two cents? LOL! Wow! Those dot.coms really did get nailed!
HRCT. . .I think the best we can hope for with HRCT is that they do NOT spin-off their subs. That will keep their revenues "on the rise" as well as their prospective earnings. The company needs to focus ALL efforts into getting off the OTC BB. And rumor has it. . .that possibility is being looked into . . .very closely!
Peace. . .
