We need a PR.
Calling is what he wants us to do. He said, that going around and being a salesman is not nessasary. He does appreciate the offer anyway.
Pete
Nick just emailed me about the web site, here is his response:
Web site is awaiting approval from licensors now. I like the idea of a down loadable brochure. We are working on a CD with info for distributors to use. I'll keep you posted. Thanx!

What is so Fake about this? This is what marketing is all about. Word of month is the best.
Do you have a better adea? Or do want to set back and do nothing.
Pete
That is what I'm hopeing he'll do.
I'll email Nick and tell him about the web site and also the PDF brochure.
I'll do what ever it takes.
Here is the email I sent Nick:
Hi Nick,
I just posted the message on IHUB about calling funeral homes and etc. They have a few concerns. There main concern is the web site. Can you work on this for us. I believe every one is willing to help, but they want to make sure new customers have a place to go for additional information. First appearances mean a lot.
1 idea that an investor had, was to make that Brochure downloadable in PDF format. This would allow people interested in the product to download it.
Thanks,
Pete
I'll email Nick and tell him about the web site and also the PDF brochure.
I'll do what ever it takes.
Pete
Don't do it. Email nick and ask for some brochures.
Pete
I wish. Should I pass that on?
Pete
EMAIL FROM NICK
I emailed Nick yesterday about some brochures. He sending some out in the morning. I know I was slammed for saying that every one should call funeral homes and get the word out about Enternal Images, well this is Nicks email to me this morning.
Hi Pete --
I'll try to get something out to you tomorrow. Thanks for being an investor. I did see a wonderful idea on iHub the other day....
Would the iHub gang consider calling funeral homes and asking for our product? That would help speed up the process and go a long way towards helping us get the word out. Our advertising is good but word of mouth is better!
Thanks, again.
Regards,
Nick
I told him I'd pass this on.
I did ask Nick to send me several brochures, and I would go to every funeral home, pet stores and vet. offices.
Remember this is our company.
Pete
I'm sure it does. That's a lot of money for 1 item.
It takes money to make money.
I just to let people know, that it's expensive for the whole process.
Pete
it sure does.
I was just think about ETIM taking pre-orders. If they are getting these things made in China, there is a least a few things they have to consider.
#1) What company can make them at the best price.
#2) They quality of the product.
#3) What is the min. they have to order.
#4) 20' Container or 40' container
#5) Cost to ship to the US.
#6) Customs
$6) Cost of getting them from the port to there warehouse.
#7) Cost of shipping from warehouse to customer.
All of these things added up are expensive.
This is why they a letting people pre-order. They need money to buy these things. You just can't buy one or two economically.
I have one product that is made out of plastic, and the size is 8 x 10 x 16 inches. The tooling charge for this is $1,000.00. That is just the tooling charge, then making the things is another expense. Of couse the more you order the cheaper the price is. I have to buy at least 1,000 of these items just to be able to place an order. (MIN)
I wish I was able to let people pre-order.
This is just to let people know what it takes to have something made and shipped from China.
Pete
How do you get a brochure?
Pete
Good Afternoon, fourwinns
I believe that post from Uptick had substance that was verified. That was just some good DD.
Pete
Thanks,
It is a good feeling.
Pete
When I decided to get this product it took 4 to 5 months to get it. While waiting, I made out a list of companies I thought would be interested. My girlfriend made us a web site. I had them send me a sample so I could start marketing them. This is about what EI is doing. Marketing never stops. You have to find that nich in the market and market, market, market it. This what impresses me about ETIM. They have that nich and he is marketing the product.
You also have to make it the best you can. Even though I found that nich, I will always be making my product better and be looking to increase my customer base at all times. ETIM could just wait until all the orders from MLB, AKC, the Vatican Library come in, but I think he's loking at the bigger picture. Always look at the total market.
Pete
Good post Flipper.
Pete
Thanks for agreeing with me. I'm presently have things made in China also, and it is expensive to start up a new product. There is a tooling charge, cost of manufacturing, shipping etc. 2 years ago I had an idea of something that would sell, I research the net and didn't find anyone else selling it. I took the plunge and order over 500 of these things. It was tough, I emailed every customer I thought might be interested and sent samples out. Today I'm having to re-order. Presently I have 8 companies in the country selling these things for me. It has cost a lot of my own money, but I would do it again. Dreams and hard work do pay off. I have people calling, wondering when I'm going to get more. This next order is going to be bigger and better. I found a company in China that will make them better. I have even Trade Mark the name, "SwampEyes" (TM).
Enough about myself. Guys and girls we need to help ETIM as much as possible. Has anyone thought of contacting funeral homes in your town and ask them if they are carrying EI products? If they're not, tell them about the products and how they can get them.
Lets start working on this in the next few weeks.
Lets all think about Positive things we can do to help maangement.
Remember, we all own part of the company. If it makes money we make money.
THE POINT I AM TRY TO MAKE IS THAT IT TAKES TIME, MONEY AND PATIENTS.
Have a great weekend.
Pete
Good Morning.
I've been reading a lot of these post for the last few days and personally I'm very disappointed in all the negative posting concerning our company.
This company is new and needs money for various start-up costs and if any one of you started up a company you would know this. I know it hurts us with the 504 but, its got to come from some where.
We need to have faith in them.
I think if MLB, The Vatican Library, Precious Moments, and the AKC has faith in this company so should we. The have been in business a lot longer then us.
They will not allow a company to use there name if they didn't think and know they would succeed in providing what they promised.
If we continue to bash it and say bad things about management then the price will continue to go down.
We need to learn how to have patients.
Just my thoughts.
I do understand people get frustrated and thats human nature. But we need to look at the BIG picture.
Pete
