CRDM,,,hmm you know what this fda approval means. No more cracking open your chest in many instances. The procedure is "non-invasive" No surgery
Definition: "In cardiac ablation, a form of energy renders a small section of damaged tissue inactive. This puts an end to arrhythmias that originated at the problematic site.
Normally, electricity flows throughout the heart in a regular, measured pattern. This normally operating electrical system is the basis for heart muscle contractions.
Sometimes, the electrical flow gets blocked or travels the same pathways repeatedly creating something of a “short circuit” that disturbs normal heart rhythms. Medicine often helps. In some cases, however, the most effective treatment is to destroy the tissue housing the short circuit. This procedure is called cardiac ablation.
Cardiac ablation is just one of a number of terms used to describe the non-surgical procedure. Other common terms are: cardiac catheter ablation, radiofrequency ablation, cardiac ablation, or simply ablation.
The ablation process
Like many cardiac procedures, ablation no longer requires a full frontal chest opening. Rather, ablation is a relatively non-invasive procedure that involves inserting catheters – narrow, flexible wires – into a blood vessel, often through a site in the groin or neck, and winding the wire up into the heart. The journey from entry point to heart muscle is navigated by images created by a fluoroscope, an x-ray-like machine that provides continuous, “live” images of the catheter and tissue.
Once the catheter reaches the heart, electrodes at the tip of the catheter gather data and a variety of electrical measurements are made. The data pinpoints the location of the faulty electrical site. During this “electrical mapping,” the cardiac arrhythmia specialist, an electrophysiologist, may sedate the patient and instigate some of the very arrhythmias that are the crux of the problem. The events are safe, given the range of experts and resources close at hand, and are necessary to ensure the precise location of the problematic tissue.
Once the damaged site is confirmed, energy is used to destroy a small amount of tissue, ending the disturbance of electrical flow through the heart and restoring a healthy heart rhythm. This energy may take the form of radiofrequency energy, which cauterizes the tissue, or intense cold, which freezes, or cryoablates the tissue. Other energy sources are being investigated.
Patients rarely report pain, more often describing what they feel as discomfort. Some watch much of the procedure on monitors and occasionally ask questions. After the procedure, a patient remains still for four to six hours to ensure the entry point incision begins to heal properly. Once mobile again, patients may feel stiff and achy from lying still for hours.
When is ablation appropriate
Many people have abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias) that cannot be controlled with lifestyle changes or medications. Some patients cannot or do not wish to take life-long antiarrhythmic medications and other drugs because of side effects that interfere with their quality of life.
Most often, cardiac ablation is used to treat rapid heartbeats that begin in the upper chambers, or atria, of the heart. As a group, these are know as supraventricular tachycardias, or SVTs. Types of SVTs are:
Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial Flutter
AV Nodal Reentrant Tachycardia
AV Reentrant Tachycardia
Atrial Tachycardia
Less frequently, ablation can treat heart rhythm disorders that begin in the heart’s lower chambers, known as the ventricles. The most common, ventricular tachycardia, may also be the most dangerous type of arrhythmia because it can cause sudden cardiac death.
For patients at risk for sudden cardiac death, ablation often is used along with an implantable cardioverter device (ICD). The ablation decreases the frequency of abnormal heart rhythms in the ventricles and therefore reduces the number of ICD shocks a patient may experience.
For many types of arrhythmias, catheter ablation is successful in 90-98 percent of cases – thus eliminating the need for open-heart surgeries or long-term drug therapies.

This post may become truth in a very short time...like the first week of June or before. Please do dd. I am a CMKX shareholder and hopefuly a CIM ipo shareholder.
Mano Update:
IMPORTANT NEWS FROM MANO:
We will still get our money before CIM ipo on the new Nevada exchange June 5th. It will come as two separate payments but both on the same day. That will be the one dollar from the Chinese and the 56 cents from the settlement. It will be tax free.
Regarding the Nevada Stock Exchange:
IT WILL OPEN JUNE 6TH in PILOT MODE
15 COMPANIES WILL IPO IN THIS PILOT PROGRAM AND THEY WILL ALL IPO BY JUNE 21ST
THERE WILL BE NO IPO'S FROM JUNE 21 TO SEPT 15TH. THE NEW EXCHANGE WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN IN 4TH QUARTER
CIM WILL BE THE FIRST IPO ON THAT EXCHANGE
IT IS NOT IN THE NEW BUILDING YET.
THE PLATFORM IS ALL AUTOMATIC AND READY TO ROLL, BUT NOT IN IT’S FUTURE LOCATION YET
CHINESE WILL PROVIDE MONEY FOR THE NEW EXCHANGE. THEY NEED MINERALS
THE EXCHANGE WILL BEGIN WITH MINERAL COMPANIES, THAT WILL BE THE FOCUS FOR NOW, LATER ON THEY MAY HAVE ALL OTHER KINDS OF COMPANIES
UC WILL BE THE CEO OF THE PILOT PROGRAM, LATER ON THERE WILL BE ANOTHER PERSON BECAUSE UC CANT BE A CEO OF AN EXCHANGE AND ALSO AN OWNER OF OTHER COMPANIES
ENTOURAGE, WILL BE GIVEN IN CERT FORM AND IT WILL GO TO A NEW EXCHANGE. MMS DID NOT PAY FOR DIVIES WE HAVE FROM CIM , USCA, AND GEMM, ALL THOSE COMPANIES DIVIES WILL HAVE TO BE COVERED IN NEVADA EXCHANGE AND WILL GO UP.

Cox, Spitzer review securities cases
First face-to-face meeting between top New York cop, SEC chief

Last Update: 3:09 PM ET May 16, 2006
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox met for the first time Tuesday, to review securities-enforcement cases and strengthen cooperation between their offices.
The two regulators wouldn't detail the cases they're working on but said they discussed some cases concerning mutual funds.
"We have a number of cases where we're cooperating at separate levels of government to go after some bad actors," Cox said. "When we talked about enforcement we talked about some cases involving mutual funds."
"This is an ongoing effort to ensure that we're on the same page, that we act in unison," Spitzer said.
Spitzer, who is running for New York governor, angered some at the SEC with his aggressive pursuit of investment banks and mutual funds in 2002 and 2003.
But he and Cox played up the positive relationship between the two offices on Tuesday.
"Let me say this real clearly: we have a wonderful relationship with the SEC," Spitzer told reporters in Cox's office following the meeting. "This is a relationship that has worked extraordinarily well," he said.
But he hinted at differences of opinion with one of Cox's predecessors, Harvey Pitt. "Chairman Pitt and I maybe had a slightly more dynamic relationship, shall I say, but I'm not here to revisit history."
Spitzer said he'd had a "great relationship" with Cox over the past year. Cox took office in August 2005.
Cox said he and Spitzer's office were also cooperating on protecting elderly investors from investment fraud. Cox recently announced the SEC is partnering with state regulators in a new push to uncover scams against senior citizens.
"These kinds of meetings are very, very helpful," Cox said about his time with Spitzer.
Robert Schroeder is a reporter for MarketWatch in Washington.

NanoLogix Announces the Successful Conversion of Welch's Waste Stream into Usable Hydrogen
WEDNESDAY, MAY 10, 2006 9:10 AM
- PR Newswire
NNLX

SHARON, Pa., May 10, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- NanoLogix, Inc. (Pink Sheets: NNLX) announced today that hydrogen has been generated at its first commercial scaled-up hydrogen bioreactor facility at a Welch Food's plant in North East, Pennsylvania. The company previously announced the construction of the facility and its intent to begin hydrogen generation from Welch's waste organic matter.
The dependence upon fossil fuels is drawing to a close with the achievement of alternative fuel from waste streams from manufacturing facilities worldwide.
The technology behind the hydrogen bioreactor, developed and proprietary to NanoLogix, is intended to enable manufacturing facilities to convert their waste stream into hydrogen. The alternative energy source then can be converted, on-site, to electricity, thus contributing immediately to the manufacturing facilities bottom line.
David F. Rivers, a director of NanoLogix, CEO of Patriot Lift Company (http://www.patriotlift.com) and who spent more than 30 years with Pfizer's Schick & Wilkinson Sword business unit and General Motors' Fisher Body Division in Senior Research, Development and Engineering operations, commented that, "The generation of hydrogen demonstrates NanoLogix's capability to convert its prolific intellectual property portfolio into needed technologies."
David C. McClelland, President of NanoLogix, commented, "The success NanoLogix has had in converting the waste stream at Welch's into hydrogen is indicative of the extremely exciting possibilities for continuous generation of hydrogen in the future."
Professor Rick Diz of Gannon University, the lead scientist in the project and consultant to NanoLogix stated, "I am pleased to confirm the bioreactor at Welch's is producing hydrogen. Gas chromatography confirmed hydrogen and no methane."
About NanoLogix, Inc.
NanoLogix is a nano-biotechnology company whose extensive portfolio of patents have application and marketability in the following areas: nanoscale microfluidics for the rapid identification of disease causing pathogens utilizing BioMEMS; production of high value hydrogen from agricultural feedstock, industrial waste water and municipal waste streams; nontoxic induction of apoptosis (a method for inducing a genetically based induction of "cell suicide") in cancer cells utilizing hydrophobic hydrocarbons; and the bio-remediation of air, water and soils of harmful contaminants.

elvis, I just spoke to the IR guy for PGPM myself and got the same info. Float is about 80 million and the CEO was in long beach buying some equipment from the chinese. He said the price has been droping because the company had been selling shares to raise money. He also said they have connections to major oil companies and the wells are owned by the majors but managed my Pilgram. That is why the 20% factor. In most cases the Majors leave the equipment behind and Pilgram uses it rather than have to buy new. They have technology that makes it cost effective for them to pump when a well only produces 10 to 15 barrels per day, the majors want about 100 per day to be cost effective. This is their niche.

Hackerproof Concludes Acquisition of the Alcar Group
MONTREAL, Feb 01, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Hackerproof Ltd. (OTC: HKPF) announced today it has closed the definitive acquisition agreement with the Alcar Group; a Canadian based alternative fuels and advanced materials Company.
"With the merger now completed, we can concentrate all our efforts on completing our new production plant, which will enable us to produce non-petroleum based ethanol and diesel fuels as well as various non-petroleum based plastics and coating materials. Once our production is fully operational, it will quickly generate sales of $250 million USD with corresponding gross margins of $100 million USD per annum and considering that post merger the company has a total of 95,800,000 shares outstanding, it will create substantial shareholder value," said Alexander Cavasin, President of the Alcar Group. "Our company is truly committed to developing and producing leading-edge technologies, which will contribute to reducing world pollution and especially green-house gas emissions," further added Mr. Cavasin.
