rmeek,
The reason Im going this route is because things were happening and in motion with WL and MMTE way before Chile announced the change. WL trusts Caulson and i think Caulson is steering William, another words giving him advice. I would think that being what WL has, it has crossed both their minds about LiOne and MMTE, all we can do is wait it out and see. I just have a lot of faith in WL to make the right move here with Caulsons recommendations.
LiOne has the funds...LOL
I agree, I email LiOne a while back and had the CEO write me back. I just wrote again "tonight" to try to dig alittle more, the last time he stated he was open for J/V or Merger. Lets see where he goes this time, go into it a little deeper this time...LOL
As I see, everything is in line for it, plus I personally think this would be the easyest, fastest way to start production, thats IF WL wants to hold on to the MMTE proceeds. Which I think he stated he did. AIMO Caulsons there for a reason, Im sure its not to lead WL into selling MMTE, but we need to remember, everyone has their price and I think WL sees this and is smarter than to let go of something for less that what its worth in the long run.
Well lets put it this way, all good is going on in Chile right now, WLs been working, or being guided so to say by a Board member of LiOne, they work very well together from what I gather.
Hes a Board member of MMTE also, so its a very simple assumption, 1 + 1 = LiOne... Im almost sure or lets put it this way, am sure LiOne is looking to exspand, this is from the Pres. of LiOnes statement to me.
So I see the contact Caulson and William, Caulson and LiOne. It looks to me as a perfect match, IF you ask me.
Plus WL has mentioned numerous times that he is looking at Argentina. So all I can say is this is MO, and my final guess....LOL
Were still up from 3 & 4s, not complaining yet..LOL
I just hope the news hits soon, hate to see this drop anymore. But Im sure something will happen soon enought to pick us back up, too the exstent of where we should be. WLs hard at it, he will come through, IMO
Be happy...LOL
We have the potential to be, and compared to what SQM, and the other big boy??
IF we hook up with LiOne we wouldnt have to worrie about this, LiOnes already mining in Argentina, and MMTE owns the land in Chile that LiOne can build up on. IMO would benifit both. Just my prespective.
Peeps keep hitting the ask, and this puppy may move. Has anyone tried to contact the CEO and/or company?
Environmental Health Implications of Electric Vehicles in China

Universities in the United States and China have released collaborative research evaluating the effects of emissions and environmental health impacts from the use of electric vehicles and conventional vehicles across 34 major urban centers in China. The participating universities include the University of Minnesota and the University of Tennessee in the US, and Tsinghua University in China.
By including electric vehicles, electric bikes, gasoline cars, diesel cars, and diesel buses, the research takes into account the impact of the user’s exposure to emissions in order to evaluate overall environmental and health implications.
High adoption rates
Published in the ACS journal Environmental Science & Technology, the study was partially inspired by the considerable growth and demand for electric bicycles in China. The considerable adoption rate of electric bikes in China is the single largest case study of alternative fuel use for transportation in history, with more than 100 million vehicles purchased within the last ten years. The market in China for electric bikes over the past decade represents a greater demand than all other countries combined.
Results
For most of the urban areas focused on by the study, research indicates that the environmental health impacts of electric cars are greater than they are for conventional gasoline vehicles. However, electric vehicles typically scored better than diesel cars and equal to diesel buses. Electric bikes yielded lower environmental health impacts when compared to diesel cars and buses, but only slightly better than conventional gasoline cars.
Importance and relevance in guiding policy decisions
The case study of China provides a large sample size and a similar operational context to the US, because dynamic converging governmental policies aim to increase electric vehicle adoption. Unique aspects of China include its large population and coal dependent electricity system; however, the United States may consider applying aspects of this research towards its own outlook for transportation initiatives.
United States funding additional research to further lithium battery technology
The United States Department of Energy is expecting to launch an advanced research program on lithium battery technology and energy storage, with an investment of up to $120 million over five years. The Energy Innovation Hub will be funded up to $20 million this year, with an objective to develop research of electrochemical energy storage for transportation and the electric grid. The funding initiative fosters leading edge renewable and clean energy technology and storage to optimize efficiency and security of the electrical grid and transportation networks, with the goal being to reduce the nation’s dependency on foreign oil.
Ambitious aims
Department of Energy Secretary Dr. Steven Chu explained, “As part of the Obama Administration’s investments in science and innovation, this Energy Innovation Hub will bring together scientists, engineers, and industry to develop fresh concepts and new approaches that will ensure America is at the leading edge of the growing global market for battery technology. With the advances from this research and development effort, we will be able to design and produce batteries here in America that last longer, go farther, and cost less than today’s technologies.”
The objective for the Batteries and Energy Storage Hub will be to deliver advanced-level research for new lithium battery technology. While advancing the understanding and science around present energy storage, the role of the new hub will be to embrace new scientific approaches, devices, systems for transportation, and utility scale storage.
Broader impacts on lithium developers and producers
The joint research project with China and the United States Department of Energy investment initiatives serve as a strong continued commitment to the growth of the electric vehicle industry. With China expecting to make a million electric vehicles annually by 2015, lithium prices may rise in response to increased demand. The result will stimulate lithium production and create increased investment potential for projects that have not yet developed an economically scalable resource in order to be commercially viable.
Your welcome, and as far as your friend, tell him to hurry up, dont know when MMTEs gona fly. Dont miss the boat...LOL
HA HA Tax Man, no worries there, I make a very low income with five kids to support. With you having kids also, you know how I feel. I get a real nice tax break..... Yah HOOOOOOOO
I dont blame you, just leave some comfort measures in there. I will also skim off the top but also buy back in, and buy in on the way...LOL Im here to see MMTE all the way through...
GLTY, you got me beat, I have a feeling even IF you have million, you will have no worries with MMTE... My plan is to just keep adding as we go along.
Ill add every chance I get, we will have plenty of time, and its all on the up and up IMO. We cant lose IMO
Been here, and plan to be here a long time...LOL
Just pointing something out here, WL and Caulson from LiOne been working together way before any mention of Chile cutting lose with letting other companies in.
Im wondering IF there was something already set in gold with LiOne and MMTE. Or maybe they had a heads up about what was comming down the pike with Chile opening up, before we did.
I dont know, and I dont know how this will float with the rest of you, but my thinking is we are leaning to LiOne and a merge. This would put MMTE and LiOne up to bat with the big boys, and up the antie. This is all my thinking, looking at all angles, any thoughts???
Right now thats the only way to go IMO. This ensures you get your shares. Again nobody knows when the news is gona come, I would hate to be sitting on the bid when it does, I have a feeling this is gona fly when the news is release. Peeps are watching this like a hawk. ITS COMMING dont miss the wave. Were gona hang TEN IMO. LOL
Ya know LiOnes board member is MMTEs. Li3 consessions are next to ours, SQM surrounds all of us. Theres quite a few directions to go with MMTE all including JV, Merger, Uplist and we could come about doing more than just one of these.
We are set here for something massive, its all in WLs hands to do the right thing, it matters to me to get the news out, but I rather see WL do what is best for MMTE and us as shareholders. Im sure he will set us in the right direction, and he will have everything in place before he puts any PR out IMO.
ALL IMO, I think we have a lot more in store for us than we think. I dont want to start posting stuff that Im not sure of, but I think were going to be more suprised than we all think. AGAIN this is AMO.
That was mentioned, three times by WL. I think we have something there IMO but WL didnt state anything for a while so nobody knows..
0.0007 lol this is really taking off I see.. Down we go
Look again,,,0.0009 lol
SG you have your s, I have mine, we will both be in this together, so you believe what you may and Ill do the same, no hard feelings here, its only opinions here. Chile is big news, I was yahoooing when it came out. LOL... I think we will be happy with both, and when everything comes together here with MMTE.
With all due respect, things as you know, move slow in the business world, especially out of the country business.
We are waiting on things that are out of WLs hands. Im sure he has everything in-line to present when conformation is secure.
Putting out news that is already all over the place, knowingly from the past statements on this board as well as others, would be considerd a pump and dump by most here and IMO hurt the PPS more than it is already.
Im saying let WL do what he said he do, hes always done everything he stated in the past, with a lot of hurdels to jump in the process. IMO hes got it all together and he wants everything in-line before he so to say, "puts out a fluff PR". This time he puts out, is no where near going to be Fluff news, this is going to be real, and when it comes we will be very pleased IMOO. :*)
RE-THINK LOL IMOO. This PR IMO is starters and more to it than you mentioned AIMO
Drew,
The news about Chile kicking in was GREAT, dont get me wrong, but I truly believe we want the MMTE news here, what everyones been waiting for. The Chile news was posted on here, WL knows about it, hes busting his butt to get the lawyers in gear. Let him put a PR together with everything about MMTE and what were doing. This is what were all waiting for. I respect your thoughts, but I feel we need WLs big news to get MMTE in a up roar here.
I thought it was great on the last PR of consessions, but no one else did, they cryed about it. Why should this PR be any diffrent. Peeps would be saying; "OH just another wasted PR, wheres the real news" This Chile PR is all over the place for peeps to see, leave WL work on MMTE stuff not worring about a PR thats already out. He knows whats happening. Let him get MMTE going, we will be happier with a PR about what were all waitingg for here.
I agree than it would give everyone something else to gripe about.
Well didnt know it was that cheap...My Bad
IF I were WL I wouldnt spend the money to pay for a PR thats all over the place already. I think its a smart move he didnt, save the money for the BIG ONE..
