Who want's to be out over the weekend? Ha ha!
This spiking in low volume along with the game playing on the bid / ask can be unnerving, but also an indicator. Imo- it's only peeps positioning themselves and shaking the tree as news is breaking soon.
Glad to see some lurkers still here though!
While we are patiently waiting for news..... waiting.......
Hey! I know this is going to be a stretch but I am also invested in QTMM which is a company that is manufacturing non polluting Quantum dots. Originally I thought that the application was going to be used mainly in displays (today's news- LG G4 Smartphone to run on QDot display), but now I'm realizing they are going to be using these things for all kinds of electronic applications. Recently these dots have been incorporated into lithium batteries.
The result of adding this technology to batteries is the cycle time for charging is shortened and the battery output is increased also. I think some cellphone batteries are already utilizing this quick charging technology.
I have one link on this- (V2O5 quantum dots/graphene hybrid nanocomposite with stable cyclability for advanced lithium batteries).
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2211285513000475
Also there is work ongoing on Q Dot nanostructures for building windows and talk of solar panels that could generate up to 4X the power collected over the same area as the current silicon panels.
One interesting feature is Q Dots absorb ultraviolet and infrared so they would continue producing power even at night.
A link that explains some of this-
http://scitechdaily.com/photovoltaic-solar-panel-windows/
Link on progress with non polluting Q Dots and energy conversion-
http://phys.org/news/2013-12-nontoxic-quantum-dot-solar-cells.html
Anyways I'm thinking the lithium battery powered car and other battery applications are going to collide with new solar charging /storage devices that will compete and then eventually replace fossil fuel as our main energy source for vehicles. As solar panels become more efficient than oil become available, this will be a catalyst for electric cars, storage batteries and hopefully the Lithium miner we are invested in.

I like this review from rfwelsh also. I'm just going to be positive and say I've decided to hold thinking chances are better than 50/50. Good summary.
I have read this before or have ESP.
So u say $4.83 minimum per share within 12 months?
I guess I would have to take that.
Good maybe we can breakout of the twozies.
Yes. But what interests and bothers me is that TEVA has limited funds to do acquisitions and the mediocre MYLAN offer would take most of what they have to parlay. That's why it is moving slow, IMO. What would be left for them to offer us?
I'm not invested at an .03 basis like some here, so I need the company to get approvals, grow and get in the black. I'm now wondering if our FDA has an Israeli contingent holding up the processes. Think I would rather be partnered than take a lowball buyout anyway.
They were just talking about the TEVA / MYLAN buyout tender on CNBC. The commentator /analyst mentioned he expected TEVA to do 2,3, or 4 more acquisitions in the near future.
Definitely news of earnings, launches or FDA approvals would screw up the price manipulation which seems to be going on. It would be nice to be at least over a dollar or two PPSwise if an offer came.
Actually I think Bye Bye Bunions is great. I know you are a Dr. so you probably possess an affinity for acute thinking versus a more "dumbed down Idiocracy version" of marketing for the average Joe. I would assume that bunions affect the working class citizenry more than any other group. Therefore this is spot on.
OK thanks. I'm glad someone is seeing this market share, same ballpark figure, more or less.
Thanks for that gift report, bms65.
Wish these guys would hurry up & get back from lunch.
Well there goes some resistance levels...........
I Dunno!!! when the news is coming but someone is making buys like they in the know. And all this seems familiar, big buying while posters are whining and posting about selling their shares. Seems like very orchestrated ask slappin to me, imo.
IPCI loss $.04 cents per share is slightly positive compared to the Q1 analyst consensus of minus $.07 ? GLTA.
I like it, may be within 5 days nice charting.
I guess we are following the oil spec back up? Breaking the downtrend and some volume too!
Tony how was the game this morning?
That was a mouthful about the short position.
Does anyone see an ascending triangle forming?
Still waiting for some good traction / volume from the analyst news.
So we are moving a little higher. Is it Tesla, oil bottoming, or the Shareholder Meeting announcement?
Also news from the globe-
Floods halt Chilean lithium, potash and iodine production.

http://resourceinvestingnews.com/85210-chile-floods-heavy-rain-lithium-supply-sqm-fmc-rockwood-albemarle-orocobre.html
Great! So did Brean also raise their target from $7 to $8?
Looking forward to more coverage / more analysts.
Wonder what is in store for the PPS / volume today.......
GLTA
I don't know how much more of this irrational exuberance I can take. Whoo hoo! ETC.
All you say is very true about length of time to expect news except the phase III trial partner announcement which could be imminent. While the company waited they could have already had a partner for trials lined up IMO. So, if the next expected news the 5mg entry, 5 weeks away, I would say news of a trial partner between now and then probably would be an optimal company strategy.
DD, Now need to bounce off 2.74 to the MOON!
I just went ahead and voted yes on everything. I added at the dip. I guess I am just a sucker for punishment, Hahaha!
Approval of Unallocated Stock Options under the Option Plan
The shareholders of the Company approved the introduction of the “rolling” provisions of the Option Plan (as hereinafter
defined) in 2009, and approved the maximum number of common shares being available for issuance thereunder equal to
10% of the number of common shares outstanding on the date of grant. The TSX requires that unallocated options, rights or
other entitlements under the Option Plan be approved by the Company’s directors and shareholders every three years after
the institution of the Option Plan. As March 29, 2015 represents the third anniversary since the last of such approvals, all
unallocated options, rights or other entitlements under the Option Plan must again be approved by the Company’s
shareholders at the Meeting. For further details regarding the Option Plan, see “Executive Compensation –
1. Compensation Discussion and Analysis – Option-Based Awards”, below. As at the date of this Management Proxy
Circular, options to acquire 1,970,100 common shares, representing approximately 8.4% of the 23,541,611 currently issued
and outstanding common shares, have been granted under the Option Plan. Therefore, there are unallocated options (which
were previously approved on March 29, 2002) to acquire 384,061 common shares, representing approximately 1.6% of the
currently issued and outstanding common shares. The Board approved all unallocated options under the Option Plan as
being available for issuance under the Option Plan, subject to shareholder approval of the Stock Option Plan Resolution
(defined below) by a majority of votes cast at the Meeting in respect thereof. Shareholder approval will exclude the votes of
insiders who are entitled to receive a benefit under the Option Plan.
If approval of the Stock Option Plan Resolution is not obtained at the Meeting, options which have not been allocated as of
March 29, 2015 and options which are outstanding as of March 29, 2015 and are subsequently cancelled, terminated or
exercised will not be available for a new grant of options. Previously allocated options under the Option Plan will continue
to be unaffected by the approval or disapproval of the Stock Option Plan Resolution.
Shareholders will be asked at the Meeting, or any adjournment thereof, to consider, and if thought appropriate, to pass, with
or without variation, the following resolution (the “Stock Option Plan Resolution”):
7
“BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. all unallocated options, rights or other entitlements under the Stock Option Plan of the Company as described in
the management proxy circular dated March 9, 2015 are hereby approved and authorized until the date of the
Company’s annual shareholders’ meeting in 2018 (provided that such meeting is held on or prior to April 21,
2018), subject to the Company obtaining all required approvals from the Toronto Stock Exchange and any other
regulatory authorities; and
2. any director or officer of the Company is hereby authorized and directed to do all acts and things and to execute
and deliver all documents required, as in the opinion of such director or officer may be necessary or appropriate in
order to give effect to this resolution.”
The Board has unanimously approved the Stock Option Plan Resolution and recommends to shareholders of the Company
that they vote FOR the Stock Option Plan Resolution. Unless the shareholder has specified in the enclosed form of proxy
that the common shares represented by such proxy are to be voted against the Stock Option Plan Resolution, the persons
named in the enclosed form of proxy intend to vote FOR the Stock Option Plan Resolution.
I agree with all that except for the pump comment. There are many peeps ready to buy watching for any signs IMO, signs of news or leaking news. The stock still could be above $2.75 now except the Naz and pharma big selling. Anyways, we are still in an uptrend 20% since January. I thought we would do better today. Now I'm looking at a rally point here to buy more. GLTA HB
PPP....weeeee
Bob that comment reminded me of that proposed merger of Stop "N" Go with AM PM.
Stop "N" P!
I guess everyone is hoping for a market rebound tomorrow?
Well anyone have a comment? Chart says oversold, that's all I got.
Strange, Guru! I added some too. Then I turned off the computer. That's confidence :)
Not much there on the ask, lets go IPCI!
Good observations guru, thanks.
Yes. It would have been bad mojo if he talked about IPCI directly, I agree.
Just going to think out loud..............
Been here for awhile but do not post much so.... Hello to all.
The events that we are currently aware of are this Maxim meeting? and the upcoming annual and special meeting around March 26, 2015. There might be some new manufacturing to report on those 6 month delayed Focalin doses too.
I always think it's funny when a company calls an "Annual" meeting "Special". Still waiting for that "Special" part! Usually good news seems to catch me by surprise, it's never announced coming in advance. But here I will just be surprised that it took so long to arrive.
I'm an amateur chartist- So keeping this in mind:
This stock has a history of two hard upward spikes and retracement. I got in at the middle of 2013 and then sold all on the way above six dollars. Then started buying back in the low fours believing that some news was coming in 2014.
Many of the same peeps around here were posting good news back then, but being positive now over a year later makes even more sense. Today I am still upside down from the 2014 buys over 4 dollars. I did add some in the low 2's so my avg. is just under 3 dollars now. Should of got more, uh huh, (like usual).
First, if nothing happens by the General meeting, FARK! But at least the market action is eluding that something is happening.
I've still got big hopes for this one. I'm sure that if any FDA approval is announced or Maxim or drug news etc., there will be another hard spike up with the usual retracement, unless the company can follow up with a series of developments or more approvals.
How high will or can it really go?
That's what I want to talk about (So feel free to comment):
I looked at a ten year chart and came up with $4.08 as an average price between horizontal highs and lows. So we are a little over a buck below that average price. Since the downward trend is broken in the past few months, I think $4.08 is very doable and there seems to be slight resistance @ 3 and 3.5 on the way to 4.0
This I figure is coming eventually without real news, just continued operations and the small milestones like the earnings going greener (continued earnings to the upside of the estimated earnings) and market speculation. Hopefully the volume will increase also.
I also looked at the two pops with news and they look to be around 100%-150% pops, (I really think it depends on how good the news is):
So if good news hit Monday, a 100% to 150% top is $5.80 to $7.25 off Friday's high, or $5.40 to $6.85 if you calculate from Thursday allowing for a info leak. The two big historic pops both end up retracing all of their gains (but it took the PPS over a year to retrace in both occurrences). Therefore, I am thinking if you miss your chance at the very top to sell, then just buy more in the initial dip, and sell some at the second top. But you also could just wait for further news and that is the beauty of it, FDA news is really over due. It would be nice if the approvals came out in the timespan they were submitted- We would go climbing like we were on a ladder.
Where could this stock go? Well it could just go back down Monday and still become 20, 50, or $100 Dollar stock? Sure, I guess.
On the Side:
The Fed announcement did not change the cheap investing money availability for now, and stocks in general, should soar until this changes. And I expect good IPCI news before FED rate hike news.
(See Sidebar on Fed)
Also, Cramer pushed the Pharmaceuticals sector at the end of the week saying " I think they (the pharma stocks) still have room to go higher".
So if IPCI can make a little noise here and get on the radar screen, investors wanting to continue using the pharma sector as a profit generator might find it. Especially after so many other pharm stocks have already ran up and don't look as juicy as this one.
GLTA- Lets breakout and not look back!
Sidebar: For those of you whom think what the Fed does to interest rates is important: IMO, the general market could plummet in the first week after the Fed signals the beginning of rate hikes. IMO- Because there are many investors very comfortable now taking big stock positions using 0% loans.
JMHO- This will probably affect good stocks too and could present a small window of IPCI buying opportunity.
Tight fisted long holders! I'm not selling after waiting this long for at least one of many catalysts to materialize. Someone is trying to get in badly just now looking at the last 15 minutes of trading gamesmanship going on. JMHO GLTA HB
So what's up everyone? Are conference attendees / investors showing up now?
Thanks High T
The government just eliminated their SAWS program. This was a secret program to delay patent applications. This will indirectly help us move through the FDA quicker.
I was reading ELTP IHUB and they are talking about this over there.
