I wish I did but I have only a few shares. I think that NIO is going to be a big winner come 2014. Better than paying some sum bank to hold your hard earned money.
Who is Shawn?
Right now it is at 86 cents.
The word should be own. I won a position years ago and I should have turned it back in for a lesser prize.
Just curious Mr. Smith if you won a position in LWLG.
Thanks for the feedback though as most here(I am at the top of the list) do not have a clue on what we should be looking for. Hopefully Proto will have this material at hand when he grills Tom on the CC.
I was hoping that Fred would be the speaker for the road show presentations. Having him and Tom together would be exciting. If it is Tom and Jim, forget it.
I agree that things are always changing especially with the material we are trying to perfect. Just not sure that management is up to the task of running a developmental company. It takes a certain type of individual who can attract the right employees and be accessible to Wall Street when capital is required. Also establishing partnerships that benefit both parties. EM Photonics and the universities were a classic case of miscalculation that cost the company credibility and wasted time and money.
Most companies do not make it. I believe we have the product that will be a game changer but we need the right captain at the helm. I hope Tom is the man because he is a very nice guy. However business is business.
Long and resigned.
Wise,
It might be wise to take this post down. I would eliminate everything but number 2. Piss poor performance by the company but long term shareholders are used to this . Tom is 20 months into his tenure roughly as CEO and the PPS is markedly lower than when he started. Not sure how long the BOD should give him if things do not change. Cannot imagine what he will have to say at the ASM this year because everything has been laid out. Hope the upcoming CC will provide some information but not counting on it.
If a company is public, management has to be held accountable.
quit whining.
If LWLG is the Holy Grail, then the PPS would reflect accordingly. Too many times before we have seen moves higher followed by a PR. Greed is good and money will find a home quickly if there is a destination for it's services.
If Bintz or Fred split, you will know it is curtains. Leonberger is the reason that most of us hold out some hope.
I recall Tom telling fellow investors 2 years ago that he did not be expect to be around come 8/14. Something tells me most of us will not be here either come the New Year.
Six, I am stunned to see how many partners they have walked away from or just lost in the shuffle. The university moves were actually good because we were too cheap to have our own lab. However the other companies that have drifted away seems perplexing to say the least.
We will not get it out of the ground. I expect we will be bought out sometime next year if all goes well.
Didn't you at one time on Yahoo tell everyone to sell 5% of their investment to make a point that you were fed up with management. Advocating that Marcelli abandon ship . Also going down to the lab and poking your way in which endeared management further to shareholders.
Your ego will never keep you away from this board. For a guy who wrecked the Yahoo board by bringing on the GIG guys, you do not have much room to speak. If you love the stock, just keep buying and do not worry about the hit you are taking right now.
Where is BSmith with some realistic assessments of where we stand.
Remember this post Wise. That was 6 months ago. Amazing how time flies.
I remember Marcelli in 2011 telling shareholders at the ASM that the stock was extremely undervalued. It was trading at 93 cents that day. How many shares has he or anyone else with the company bought since then. Quiet periods do not last for 24 months.
No matter what happens, shareholders have come and gone and lost money while these guys get paid and keep things hush. It sucks.
Did he win it in a crap game?
I asked questions at 2 of the last 3 ASM meetings. I believe you were present for both.
Delaware is a dump and I can see why Jim and Tom are based out west.
As far as Yahoo, I actually defend LWLG from the rodents there for the most part. It is getting harder and harder as this PPS shrivels. We have no clue where they stand now and have to take the shards of info they give out to connect the dots.If shareholders are happy with a stock that has been stagnant for as long as I have been an investor(5 years) then so be it. This is a free board and right now the mood is pessimistic. It is the nature of the beast.
I just wish I could get a look at LPC's trading records and when LWLG tapped them for funding.
I own two stocks and both CEO's live thousands of miles from company headquarters. And they both live in the same state. Did we ever have a CEO from Lightwave that lived in Delaware? I know it is considered the armpit of the nation but Delaware is loaded with strip malls for good eats and fine lodging.
If you like Mickey D's and Motel 6, Delaware is calling your name.
You could have bought close to 150000 at 1.03 the past few days. This turd has more bargains than K-Mart in March.
Who the **** is running the OTC markets. Something is rotten in Jersey City.
imagine when we crash and the systems go haywire. they got rid of the human element and good luck now with the ever powerful computer generated Oz.
At least LWLG is holding tall at a buck.
Buz,
just got that look from a sibling who is a trader. Twitter looking 44-45. Amazing.
LWLG could not open for a month and no one would care. We are a money market fund at present.
US trading.
It appears that almost all the trades posted in the US are arbitrage related to NB.V. I only keep track of the Canadian market and advise you to do the same.
You lasted a week before resuming posts. I am impressed.
Looks like NIO made Dickie whole on his loan. That is a very good sign. Must mean they have the next round of financing lined up. Funny how Dickie just paid himself back with his own money.
Nice find Stark. I am hoping Iamgold or CBMM comes in to take us out once they get the full extent of the potential resource in the ground.
I did not see that until this morning. The breakout will come when the company receives enough funding to be solvent. I am hoping for 4-5 million dollars with a higher PP. Most funds want a sure thing before they pony up cash. Also the restricted rule comes into play.
Id the results are fantastic, up the ante on the price for the funding.
If I had APPL in the beginning Walter, do you think I would ever be posting on this board. All you need is one donkey to hit. Right now I have two.
Your ego will not let you stay away and weren't you the one saying for at least 2 years that we were on the one yard line. If you think they have it, why even post at al. Just keep buying shares at these low levels with your endless stream of cash(lol).
The stock was trading over 2 in 2009 when I first bought into LWLG. It closed on a mark yesterday at 1.05. You measure management performance in the PPS. They are posting a failing grade. Yet they increase their salaries every year.
I welcome BSmith's response as he adds a valued opinion to this board.
3 months ago. I would have hit that bid. Love the large bids but I wish they would be aggressive buyers. The trading stinks right now. Hopefully we will see some movement in the next few months.
I have done enough research on Nio and Lightwave to last a lifetime. So far I am down in LWLG and up small in Nio. I did 20 minutes research on BCRX and made 80 grand in two weeks. Much rather be a trader than an investor.
I hope our patience here is rewarded.
GIG I do look at from time to time but have never held a position. I see their track record and the longs there will have a hard time ever breaking even after the reverse splits. Their posters only contribution along with X was destroying the Yahoo board. IH is better anyway.
I do not think management is in a hurry to get things done. Tom and Jim are well compensated and live far away from headquarters. They are in a win-win. Keep collecting and then if this hits, good for everyone. If it does not, drag it out for as long as you can. Most of the BOD does not need the money and there is zero chance of having new changes to management.
You either be patient or cut bait. Or else, post sporadically and complain about the wait as most do here. I am glad I am not in that camp.
That seems about right. Thirty posters here and 64 of X's grandchildren.
You have taken the reins of the NIO board. Long live the King.
People , Invesor is a great guy and has your interests at heart. He is one of the Triad who deserves to cash in here for his efforts to inform us.
That was the LPC express. Management and LPC were the winners and the retail investors got suckered. The worst CC in history was our reward.
No one wants to pull the trigger first. Most of the funds out there want guaranteed results and then they decide to invest. I say **** them and move on.
Nothing surprises me with LWLG Six. It sure is acting like the LPC sucker trade but who knows. We should get an update before the year is over. According to Tom, he expected to be gone from LWLG within 2 years. That statement was made August 2012.
There is no question that LPC uses the services of penny stock sites to push the stock higher not only of Lightwave but other companies. They would have to in order to offload their position. It is the smart move as Michael Corleone would say.
I bought back 1600 at 98 cents from a sale at 1.24. I wonder is my man Six is gone now.
Proto, I saw your post on the GIG board and that was the best contra move I have ever seen. You have the uncanny ability to stop a stock dead in it's tracks and plus you gave GIG a nice push up. Never seen anyone with your skills.
