I've always heard that but am kinda used to not being acknowledged ...at times. LOL
One plus for having a cat though... if one wants to travel they are self-sufficient and dogs are not.
Gulfbreeze...Mine used to be but she's getting a little old now.
Also, when we go out of town I refuse to put her in a kennel (I have somebody come in) and I thought a cat would be a good companion for her.
What kind of dogs do you have?
Oops, I meant...I ain't no redneck!
You know how I knew mmmary is a redneck? I hear tell she stares at a can of orange juice because it says CONCENTRATE
But I don't think I can compete with mmmary, unfortunately. (I ain't a redhead.)
Cute! I gotta get a cat. I love my dog but I need something more playful.
Great post. ROFL!
Matt.. "I have mine set to 10mb. History file at 1 day."
Interesting. I have mine set to 5mb. History file at last 200 places visited. You have yours set at 1 day????
Another Good One, AK. LOL...But it still doesn't top the shaved pussy. That's a classic.
Ak...I don't know where you find this stuff! LOL I wonder what my DBL would think or say if I either drew that or got a tatoo (ouch)...in that particular area. Hmmmm...don't think I wanna find out!
I still like the other pic better....already printed it. Came out great. LOL
OMG!!!! That's the funniest thing I've ever seen in all the years I've been on the internet! LOLOLOLOL I'm going to print and save it.
Thanks, AK ....and thanks for telling me what to do to get the visual. How come I never knew that before? Don't answer that!
Tech Stoopid
Hi AK... hey, I just see a box with an x in it????
I know it's something I'll enjoy...can you try again?
What a purdy kitty!
Phil...How could I have forgotten the name of that Island. Such a simple name, after all! (I hope all the horses survived.)
We had a horrible flood in this area a few years ago and one of the most memorable photos I saw was of a cow going down the river standing on the roof of a house. They say the media was inundated with calls from the public wanting to know if the cow survived (it did).
It's funny how something like that captures the attention of so many. LOL
R. Rock...if you were a gal and married to MDB...you would!
Just kidding...
Maybe...
ROFL
Gee, Phil... I read about the damage but also knew there was assistance coming from a five-state area. How much longer do you think it will be before everything is back to normal?
I also read about the island (can't remember the name) where a herd of wild horses live. Do you know if they survived?
I kinda figured you had me living elsewhere.
BTW, we've had our share of tornados, storms and floods here too but I don't think there was as much wide-spread destruction and loss of life as there was with Isabel. Not in recent years, that is.
R.Rock...it does sound like it. I love the convenience of OnStar plus I think they're going to offer long distance with it next. I can also have them unlock my car if someone (not me!) locks the keys in ...and if it's stolen, they can shut down the whole system so the car can't be driven.
Can GPS do that?
Imagine a car thief merrily driving down the road and all of a sudden the car stops...doncha love it! OOPS, unless he then vandalizes the car out of sheer pique.
We didn't have much of a storm here...heavy rainfall all the way to Houston is all...then clear skies.
Hey eamonnshute...I almost said HongKong as I've been there.. but was never in Singapore.
If I ever get there, I promise I'll look you up. ;)
R. Rock....kinda sounds like the On-Star System in my car. Those people recognize my voice already, I've called on them so often!
Sheesh... with MDB's track record ...if we had a boat we'd prolly end up in Singapore when headed for Galveston even with a GPS!
Larry.....Been listening to "Misty." That Johnny Mathis is one sexy-sounding dude. ....sigh
You ain't heard nuttin yet...wait til you hear how the last speeding ticket he got was ALL MY FAULT! lol
Larry....thanks for a fun afternoon!
R. Rock... I gotta tell you when I did start laughing, I literally had tears rolling down my cheeks. Then he started laughing too...a few minutes before he'd been so mad one could almost see smoke coming out of his nostrils.
Usually he tries to find a way to blame me for his mishaps but in this instance there was no way! LOL
Um....what's a GPS?? If it will help, I'll darn sure get it.
The Great One!
Thanks...;)
Arrooooooooo!
I've come alive now...what a great song for a rainy day!
Thanks, Larry. LOL
RR...I wasn't really ranting about him getting lost...it was that he wouldn't stop and ask for directions!
BTW, we went on 350-mile trip a few days ago...drove on an Interstate all the way. We've made the same trip at least 10 times before, if not more. There are only three possible exits in all that way that if we took would lead us quite a distance out of our way. MDB has at one time or another taken all three!
Well, the inevitable happened this time... he found a fourth exit (a turn-around thingy) but it only took us five miles or so out of the way.
Did I laugh at him? Nope...not even a snicker!
Not at first anyway. LOL
Reading the story gave me goose bumps. I don't know all that much about sexual deviants...what motivates them and why so many prey on children.
I can recall only one incident of that kind of sick behaviour in the town I live in which reasulted in the death of a six-year-old girl many years ago... but I'll never forget the sense of horror we all experienced.
Is it noon yet? No?
I'll be ready soon then. LOL
G'morning, AK....Good grief...he looks like a choir boy! I'm surprised he only spent 4 years on Death Row.
There had to be something terribly wrong with this boy for him to have committed such terrible acts.
I feel sorry for the parents of the victims....and Joubert's parents, as well.
Horrible story! I can't help but wonder, given the length of time criminals spend on Death Row ....if Joubert was ever executed.
Good morning, Phil. Use of logic when it pertains to me is really illogical.
I hate to admit this publicly but what the heck! Honey, if I have that feature (fax directly from my 'puter)... being the utter tech dummy that I am, I don't know about it.
And don't want no instructions neither. ;) I am blissfully happy in my ignorance.
Ain't that pitiful? LOL
DPB5....that's a Geo-Cities site. For whatever reason I can't open it.
This was discussed before on Wanttobe's Music site. I don't know why but I know there are others who can't open it either.
Thanks for responding though. ;)
Mine is 4 years old. Truthfully, I really haven't had any problems with it so I shouldn't complain...I just don't like ANY kind of machine or gadget.
Oh, I have to remember that! I like it.
I'd use it when I get mad at him but I have a few choice words that are much more colorful...and descriptive. LOL
Followed instructions! LOL
With a brand new $28.00 cartridge.
Hey Phil...you finally showed up. ;)
We have had a failure in communication over this ink cartridge thingy. It wasn't the fax that needed the cartridge it was my Epson printer.
Anyway, everything worked out and my work is done for the week so going off to play and do a little gambling in the morning. I deserve it for the hassle I went through this morning, no?
"Old hag," eh? You'd better hope she never discovers this site! Same goes for MDB too. LOL
ONLY $36.00! So the cartridges are more expensive for the Lexmark!
I think I'll stick to my Epson a while longer. It's the only one I've ever had in 4 years so I guess that's not so bad.
And I've only had this computer...with no problems except in the very beginning. How about you? How many have you had?
Am going out of town for a few days...will look for your answer when I get back.
Take care...
Novo
You sound as if you have a lot of patience...something I dearly lack. I also am quick-tempered...I lose it fast but thankfully I'm over whatever enraged me just as quickly.
MDB is completely different so I guess it's true...opposites do attract. But you're right about the laughter...we've always had that.
BTW, my domain is a small home office ... it is mine and mine alone...nobody dares enter. NOBODY...grrrrrrrr
Yikes! What do the color cartridges cost? I usually buy mine at Walmart for about $32. I don't remember what they charge for the black. Bought the one this morning at Kinko's because it was more convenient.
I think I printed more early on ...when I got my computer, but the novelty has worn off and I don't print that much anymore either.
It may behoove me to drag out the old typewriter and carbon paper, eh?
Gee...MDB dragged himself away from the golf course...now he's NAGGING me to get dressed because him's hungry. ROFL!!!!!!
See you later, Gary ;)
