I thought the "original" PR from "rvgd" stated 750 vehicles in 2010--easy for some to claim otherwise----but the company stated 750 by yearend 2010. it appears the verde is not even as complete as the gtm was.COMPLETE avoidance of the ONLY topic that would have set the verde apart from the rest of the fibrekits----the magic motor---complete nonsense---as Ive posted since day 1.
no open doors ? hmmmm----whatever.Im sure the 750 cars by year end is still a solid target.
there is no material reason for this to move up---all pinks do it,take advantage---will be back down to previous lows---without a doubt, just the latest in a long line of green cleaners to come and go.
which carries more weight---the fact the engine is nonsense,or the fact the nonsense is brought to light ?
as I have posted--you need to take advantage of these nominal,short-lived pops------there was no material reason for the last few days rise.
if anyone really believes there is a 100mpg ceramic magnet hybrid magic motor installed in ANYTHING ----feel free to buy all the rvgd you want.
"whats going on ?"--well,its becoming more clear that the only thing setting the verde apart from all other fibrekits--THE 100MPG MAGIC MOTOR" is not a reality.
buy-out = nonsense
however--the big picture is ---for months the hype was a ceramic magnet hybrid pushing mpg to 100---it appears now the engines appearance is questionable at best---frankly,imho,just because the technology may exist--doesnt mean it will ever be a realistic production option.and this leaves just another pretty fibrekit.
yes, repeat yes---I have seen the clips--I have seen alot on youtube---and to re-state---I think the chances of the "ceramic magnet assisted 100mpg hybrid" have zero chance of appearing in a rvgd vehicle---leaves selective ignition (been around for decades--no-one claiming 100mpg) and a tweaked standard v8-----NONE of which will sell many $180k fibrekits.
amusing that there is so much "excitement" about an gas engine that, once it hits speed, shuts off,and a battery system takes over----I hope the big guys dont find out, steal it,call it some crazy thing like a "hybrid".
I agree, but volume and pps will continue to flounder.
oh the "buy-out" is back on ?--oh--ok
I think the point is that roush will be happy to sell ANYONE engines/parts--and gladly get some free advertising.awards or not-------need to sell some cars-----last years hoopla about the gtm was MUCH bigger---and they did not sell the floor model.
At least it appears the vents are opened up-----so------I will go out on a limb and state they MAY sell the prototype (not @ $ 180k---and that will be the extent of 2010 sales).also, yes I did watch the youtube clips.
I have no idea----usually find out eventually how these partnerships are born.
the idea was to generate interest in the car---only way to claim the 100mpg was to stray oof the path--whether or not it made sense.
fwiw --I dont think the ceramic magnet technology is bogus at all,but as Ive posted, there are quite a few technologies(patented or not)that will never be production practical.I also think ANY and ALL hype was used to generate interest going into the show season.I dont think the car using selective ignition and battery hybrid and e85 fuel gets ANYWHERE NEAR 100mpg----leaves the verde as a $ 180k fibrekit.
that is how they were denoted in an earlier PR---I guess time will tell ----I dont think rvgd will ever have anything to do with any advanced technology.@ $ 180k and decades old selective ignition tech.-----gonna be a tough sell.
interesting---so you think the ceramic magnets actually will appear !!
not complaining at all--a legitimate question----is the engine selective ignition or ceramic magnet hybrid----Ive been asking because I have yet to hear ANYONE give an answer.
does your letter reference an engine with selective ignition or the ceramic magnet hybrid ?
how many times has it been hoped for----"I think xxx really is the rare ceo that CARES about his shareholders"-----everyone involved with mikp has such a stained track record,I cannot believe that is the hope here-----my guess no-one will ever see anything remotely related to credible information coming from mikp.
buyout?!?!---for what, their smarts in the selective ignition arena !!!!---been around for decades, the industry has forgotten more than rvgd puts to use.as far as the ceramic magnet hybrid----------will never be a factor for rvgd.looking more and more as if the verde follows the path of the gtm and the whooping crane.
it could be those investors from "Europe and Dubai"-----wouldnt that be something !!!
alot of giddiness for a half days trading and a few million shares.
manipulation ?!?!?!-----how about no engine ?
I dont find it that easy to sever all ties to other entities when mikp has not severed those ties.too many of the same players on too many levels.
I know Ive been here as long as any.
could be--my guess was that it got parted out.MUCH bigger pre-show hype for the gtm---then all the "huge European interest--big buyer from Dubai----huge potential" 6 months after the show----no-one could confirm the prototype was sold or not.
Maybe I just remember the accuracy of others posts better than some---I have not missed many calls.and I never change spots.
no controversy--for months the hype has been the showing of the "revolutionary CERAMIC MAGNET 100MPG HYBRID engine"-----if rvgd shows up with yet another tweaked selective ignition v8---at $ 180k no less----things will get very ugly.
you will not see shares retired, nor will you see a huge conversion, short squeeze or buy-back.These are all wishfull-thinking,long-shot dreams that help only one group--the group that has no say in the matter---the soon to be evaporated mikp common shareholder.expect the RS.
for some of those new to rvgd--get ready for "show excitement" !!!!----was HUGE for the gtm-------side note--------------------------anybody know if they sold the gtm ? tia.
--------some guy told me-----------------------------------------
it will actually be a good thing if the ceramicmagnet100mpghybrid does not show up--------------it MUST mean they are working on something EVEN BIGGER------my guess, hydrogen and nuclear are involved(but this is ONLY MY OPINION).
of course there was carnes involvement----------------------------
in a group of industries that define concealment of revenue/cash flow/material information.
yes,yes it was.the entire push was a 100mpgceramicmagnethybrid-------they will now be marketing yet another standard v8 fibrekit----@ $ 180k to boot.
my read--expect the RS fairly soon.
interesting that there is such reluctance in answering a simple enough question----is it a standard selective ignition v8 which is rumored to appear at the show ? or something more---the ceramic magnet hybrid ?
Im afraid the anger is mis-placed.While the conspiracy theories are mildly amusing, they are ill-informed.It is not the role of these firms to do a complete compliance investigation----when illegal trading is uncovered, they must act.And while everyone is a savvy trader here---they do halt trading to protect the less experienced. If you got trapped, risk of the game.BIGGER issue-----it appears there is NO engine using ceramic magnets----Im afraid another selective ignition v8 is bound to draw yawns.
