HMGP. Simply the best O&G play out there. But don't take my word for it. Check it out for your self. Time is fast running out to pick up cheap shares at under .20. Best of luck to all in what ever stocks you invest in.
I like USSE also. Those guys got a lot of good things going.
Hey Wayne R, I believe there is a company out in Idaho (IESV) that making bio-fuel out of cow manure. Only glanced at it a couple of times but it sounds like they are going to be a pretty good sized company in the future. Let me know what you or anybody else come up with. Best of luck to all.
Hey lowman, I have read the "first things first" several times, and took #5 to heart. Just going through them the first time made me break out in a cold sweat realizing how close all four of them came to happening to me. I now have sweat running down my back and am wiping off my forehead at the thought of you standing behind me with a yardstick at quiz time!!! (Perhaps a little to dramatic but what the heck.) You know where my "office" is located so it's going to take me a while to get through most of this since I'm on a time schedule whenever I'm here. But since I'm into Hemi for the long haul I'll be able to spend a lot more of my time in the "IHUB Educational Center". I appreciate all of IHUB and what it has to offer more everyday. Have a good one.
My first visit to Money 101. This is GREAT stuff for a green to the gills rookie!! I also got taken out behind the woodshed, as you mentioned chud03 and lowman, to the tune of $7,500 (started out with 12,500) before I caught the beginners luck break of a lifetime by pumping what I had left into HMGP. Two thirds of the shares purchased were on a average of .025. I feel just as big a break as that was finding IHUB and the Hemi board. Lowman, Big Mur, and an assortment of others there really opened my eyes to what kind of stock I'm holding onto. A BIG THANKS to each and everyone of you!!! So much to learn and what a place to learn it. Look forward to hanging out with you guys and learning the ins and outs of the stock world.
Some great posts today guys. Had a few people come up to me today and say they were thinking about getting out as soon as they doubled their money on Hemi. I'm can't blame anybody for taking a 100% profit .... except maybe in this case. They simply don't know what they got their hands on. I gave them my thoughts and a lot of the thoughts that are on this board and wish them well in what ever they decide. My parting bit of advice to them is if you do sell do yourself a favor and don't look at the Hemi stock price again in the future. You will probably end up being pretty sick for a long time.
Been out of town for a couple of days and just got caught up on all the posts. Leads me to the same conclusion that somebdy posted on here a few weeks back: "The only way anybody will get me to part with my Hemi shares is by prying them out of my cold dead hands." The Hemi Express rolls onward and upward!!!
Say Hey everybody, (Willie Mays fan as a kid) Just drop in to say hi quick after another week of making ice cream. Got to keep America fat and happy. Another incredible week for all Hemi shareholders!!! Heck, everyday is a good day knowing you have any amount of this stock in your back pocket. The Hemi Express rolls on!!! Great Weekend to all.
o.k. lowman, tried shooting you off another e about 10 minutes ago and my time is up here at "my office". I do believe that I"m hearing chuckling from those of you out there that know where I'm talking about. Not very niiiice!! Everybody have a great weekend and all the best. Looking forward to another awesome week with Hemi. I'll try to check on your reply later lowman. No promises though. Hard telling what the wife has planned for me so if for some reason I don't get back to a computer today I'll check tomorrow.
Thanks for the tip Pink Elephant!! I'll be looking into that.
lowman, just tried sending you an e-mail. Let me know if it got through. Did what you suggested on trying to dig up my orininal letter but since I'm using a public library computer everything gets deleted out every night when they shut down for the day. GRRRRRRRR!!!! Someday I'll have my own set up at home! Anyway, I've got an idea that will save me an hour of typing again. I'll send that thought on your personal e-mail after I know for sure we are connecting. I'm on my lunck break again so I'll check in after work. Be around 2:30 CST. Later lowman.
oh man, sure wish you would have got that e-mail lowman. Took me almost an hour to type that thing ( I'm not a very fast typer!). But I sure understand why you have to play it safe. We'll have to figure out some other way. I just noticed that I got an e-mail from Hemi yesterday. That should get these guys some extra exposure. Wish I could remember the name of the investment group that was really liking Hemi. Anybody else see that also? I got to go. Have a hour road trip to go see my grandkids. Have a great weekend everybody!!!
lowman, did you get my e-mail yesterday? I'll check back around 3:15 CST. Catch you guys later.
Hey Brikk, I looked at the back cover of the book I got that chart out of yesterday and found this information on the author. Might help you dig a little deeper and find what your looking for: Stephen Leeb edits the prestigious newsletter "The Complete Investor". Renowned for consistently finishing among the leaders in the annual stock-picking contests of the Wall Street Journal and Forbes, he is author of five previous books and holds a BA in economics, an MS in mathematics, and a PhD in psychology. There you go man. Hope it helps you out. Gotta get going for now. My lunch break is almost shot.
Hey lowman, Got your reply from yesterday and will try to get the info to you sometme today or at least by the end of this week.
Sorry Brikk, I do not. But if your ever up in LeMars, Iowa give me a shout and I'll pull the book off my shelf for you.
Morning to one and all in the Hemi Clan, Came across an interesting chart on how oil and oilstocks fared back in the 70's when crude oil prices shot up considerably. Here are the returns for 4 diffrent sectors: Crude oil 469.5%---Big oil companies 93.1%---INDEPENDENT OIL COMPANIES 205.1%---Oil service companies 732.1% (WOW!) I was just starting to consider getting into stocks last year when oil started it's price increase. The only company that I really watched everyday was a oil service company called Schlumberger. If memory serves me correctly, when I first noticed it the price was in the low $30's and then rose to somewhere around around the $120 mark where I got to witness my first stock split (told you I was a rookie!) and that I believe put back down to the low $50's. Don't remember if it got back to $70 range or not but none the less that was some ride!! Kind of gets me to thinking about the independent oil producers numbers listed above. If Hemi keeps going the way it is, and I believe most of us here certainly think it will, things could be very interesting for us long term shareholders. From what I've gathered here on opinions most feel we should hit $1 at least by the end of 2007 with a few on the high end of $2.50.(please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this). That being the case, if we get somewhere in that price range or beyond (who knows?) BEFORE the next oil run up...WOW! I don't want to get killed at the gas pump anymore than anyone else but if and when oil starts going up again we might as well be in the best possible position to make the most out of it. Even if it means we have to back to riding our bikes to hold on to our profits!!! In case anyone wondered where I seen that chart it is on page 175 in a book called "The Coming Economic Collapse" by Stephen Leeb. Nice depressing title I might add. With that, See ya all later. Great Day To All!!! Let The Hemi Express Roll On!!!
Afternoon everyone, looks like another action packed day on the Hemi Express!! This is just amazing. Almost seems like a dream that's to good to be true. Heard a interesting one at Blue Bunny today. Some of our truck drivers heard about Hemi and now have a Hemi share pool going. $500 minimum to get in. Good news travels fast!! Thanks for your reply's to my two posts yesterday lowman. By the way lowman, got something you might be interested in in the future. Does not have anything to do with Hemi so don't want to take up the space here. If you got a fax number let me know and I'll get it out to you soon. Have a good one everybody and kick back and enjoy the ride on our Hemi Express!!!
Are the dropping oil prices going to have much effect on the Hemi SP or is this still such a bargin we are going to keep moving in the right direction? Been noticing that even though the big boys have been going down we still keep moving up.
Hey lowman, Did a little surfing around before I hit the meat and potatoes (this board) and looked up HMGP on raging bull. I can't believe the last posting on that board was from you on Dec. 27 with the way this stock has been going. Unreal!!! By the way, you applied the "hammer" quite nicely on that post I might add. Still can't believe nobody has posted anything since then. What a pile!!! Makes me appreciate you and everybody else here all the more. What do you think the odds are we have new news on a Thursday again?
Afternoon Everyone, Just won the fantasy football league at work so I had to turn the winnings into 1550 more Hemi shares over my lunch break. Looks like a churning kind of day so far. Check in later on this afternoon. Have a good one.
Hi one and all, To the people who have e-mailed me sorry I don't get back to you right away. The problem with that is I'm doing all my business for right now at the public library and am thus on a time schedule. Hopefully in the near future I'll be set up at home. Had a nice half hour talk with a Schwab broker this morning and after the dust settled we have a another new Hemi shareholder. One of the guys I work with at Blue Bunny had his broker from Edward Jones try to talk him out of buying Hemi stock even though the broker knew nothing about it. My friend insisted that he do some studying on Hemi while he was sitting right there and by the time thier meeting was over he admitted that Hemi looked pretty good and the stock purchase was made. Had another friend buy 350,000 last Friday!! This has all been a pretty amazing experience this rookie thus far. Really enjoying all the posts today, as usual. For anyone interested here is a new O & G company I found by accident (perhaps a little more beginners luck??) I admit I've just started looking at this have no solid numbers to share. The name is Zion Oil & Gas (ZN). The way I found out about it was by reading a book called "Epicenter" by Joel C. Rosenberg. To save anybody interested time all you have to read is chapter 5. There is some theology involved but IF this company is right on what they believe is under the ground, and it sounds like they got a pretty good idea, on thier lease properties this could be a monster down the road. The company just hit the ASE last week. I know I'm going to be keeping my eye on it even though I'm all in with HMGP. Well, my time is up here at the library. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Best wishes as always to all. GO HEMI!!!
Hey jsc52033, In response to your first question on how I got my "handle", like I said in my first posting on this board I'm very much a raw and green rookie to the stock world and thus I kind of feel like I'm sliding around on a big old slick oil patch out of control at this stage of what I hope will be at least a reasonably successful effort at investing in stocks. I have MUCH to learn. Secondly thanks for supporting our Blue Bunny products. May I suggest my personal favorite, White Almond Fudge Divinity. Your third question on E85 and Bio- Diesel, it's off to a slow start in my opinion. Seems not to many places that sell gas want to give up a pump spot at this time for E85. Bio-Diesel is doing much better. I think in another year we will start seeing things turn the corner in a positive way for bith products.
Thanks for your reply and insight lowman. Looking forward to hanging out on this site and learning more from you guys. Best wishes to all!!! Have a great weekend.
Good morning everyone. I'm as raw and green of a rookie as you can find out here in the world of stock trading but got a feeling that I've hit a good bit of beginners luck by getting in on this in the .025 range and sitting on six figures worth of shares to boot. I'm from up in Iowa and have been singing the praises of this stock long and loud to anyone who will listen to me at work. So far employee's of Blue Bunny Ice Cream are all sitting and not selling on about a million shares.(Think I'll get a hat for that?) This has been an outstanding ride so far and I owe a tremendous amount of my early education to the stock world to everybody on this board. I just wanted to take a moment to tell all of you THANKS!!!! for making this board not just educational for me but also alot of fun (of course it's always fun when your making money!). There is one question I've got for you guys today. Do you think there will possibly be a stock split down the road? THANKS again to you all and keep this Hemi rolling one beautiful penny at a time!!
