Fellow shareholders, lets not overlook the fact that we are presented with another great buying opportunity!!! Let's all stock up while we can afford shares in this soon to be , mega-giant company. Just wait 'til this PR team gets moving. This sure is a fun stock to own.

I like the slow boat as long as it stays green...a nice easy ride...maybe catch a fish along the way..maybe even cancel a merger or two and become a profitable and noticeable company that will attract the big American business machine that we want/need. I'm hoping not to hear any spinoff news for a while...but I would like to hear something.
EZ, do we still have anything to do with Koffman Securities or whatever their name was? I know at one time they were asking shareholders to set up trading accounts with them because it would be easier to trade Chinese stocks with them. Thanks
bedford/Doubting Thomas
Yes Spooky, today is the big day. We have had no pr's telling us of any delays so today is the big day and tomorrow we will have another otc company. Can it get any better than this??? This sure is a fun stock to own LOL. Hey it's only money LOL. I'd say in two more weeks we should see many pr's about our financials and how we are going to do much better in the near future. We must give Dr. Ching time to do what he does best. Don't we?? I'm sure glad March 6th is here at last, here at last. God Bless Hartcourt and all its subsidiaries and all its shareholders too.

Finally, a definition of Marketing that makes sense....
You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say, "I'm fantastic in bed." That's Direct Marketing.
You're at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says, "He's fantastic in bed." That's Advertising.
You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day you call and say, "Hi, I'm fantastic in bed." That's Telemarketing.
You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. You get up and straighten your tie, you walk up to her and pour her a drink. You open the door for her, pick up her bag after she drops it, offer her a ride, and then say, "By the way, I'm fantastic in bed." That's Public Relations.
You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. She walks up to you and says, I hear you're fantastic in bed." That's Brand Recognition. Hartcourt needs brand recognition. ;~)
Good Luck to us next week,

OK, so know one cares to venture a guess as to if we do or don't receive dividend shares when SINO/GTCI merge. Well then I shall start...
I think we will because I am hoping they will attempt to reinstall shareholder confidence and fulfill a promise made.
Of course if this subject is to touchy then we could instead take a poll to see if Deb could or couldn't make the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Squad. Again I vote yes in an attempt to stay optimistic. LOL.This sure is a fun stock to own!!YEEHAAAA
Bedford/Doubting Thomas
While we wait for the SINO/GTCI merger does anyone care to speculate on if we do or don't receive the dividend shares promised us.
bedford/Doubting Thomas
For my otc stocks I use Ameritrade. Never had a problem with them. Unlimited shares, same price, $13 limit $8 market, but I've never used a market order.
Still don't understand why you would put an order in for .18 when you could have them for .17. Heck, I got some at .16 last Thursday.
Doubting Thomas
because mrhrct said he put in a market order in @ $0.18.
my ? is why wouldnt one of the MM's fill it?????
That is what you posted.
You can't put a price on a market order. If it was a Buy order and it was a market order you can be sure it would have been filled. But at what price, maybe .20?
So, I'm the only one who thinks he is selling and that is why it's not getting filled. Why would anybody try to buy at a higher than ask price? And why won't any mm fill it??
On more than one occasion I have put limit orders in to BUY and had them filled at below the limit price. That is your broker doing his/her job. Not waiting for the ask to reach your limit price and then execute. So Willy what is it?? Will you tell us?
bedford
Mr.H, are you selling or buying?
bedford
Hey, at least the volume has dried up a little. I wonder who let up, the buyers or the sellers. Whoever sold shares today at .16, I thank you and I hope I am rewarded for my intrepidness.
bedfordboy
Looks like it was plenty hot enough for some today! 1/2 million shares bought and sold today between .20 and .22. Why do they sell at those prices. Hmmmmmmmm.
bedford
Yes they are beefing up the staff. Doesn't that also mean they are increasing their payroll? I hope the 10K will be good.
bedfordboy
OK, maybe I'm wrong here, but didn't Hrct's shares increase as they merged with/acquired companies, and didn't they say they were trying to reduce the amount,to stimulate HRCT's share price, by bringing companies public.
I'm not bashing just trying to get caught up on my investment. I can understand why there are no free shares, I just wish that HRCT knew this and never said their would be any. Anyway, if there is not going to be a reduction in the share base then it will be a very, very long road to Utopia. At $10 a share we would have a market cap of $753,180,000. Yes I was here when HRCT went from .67 to $20 but that was a different market. I don't think anyone expects that to happen again.
So tell me how will Hrct reduce its amount of shares? Or do you think that they won't?
Thanks
bedfordboy
Except when the tunnel dead- ends. I hope we don't have one here.
Anyone here think that the Hartcourt's
# of shares would be less after the spinoff of ETLK? Do you think there will be less shares after Sinobull goes public?
Bedfordboy
Are they your shares for sale at .75??? (LOL) ;~) !_!
Hey Moody, What is the price and size of your purchase order today? When trying to buy stocks like this one I find I do better by leaving off the all or none choice. That way I at least get some at my price by the end of the day. TIA
Hey Fun...Thanks for setting me straight about what percent of ETLK Hartcourt actually owns. I just read my response to you and saw the thanks wasn't there. So thanks.
Hi Fun... You still got your Harley? Good move there. Actually I agree with you but I would still like them to honor their word or offer an explanation why they won't. There has been a lot of wind blown in our sails but our ship hasn't left the port since it last docked.
cjp, this is part of the 09/21/'01 press release...
Dr. Alan Phan, Chairman of Hartcourt, said, ``Today Hartcourt has achieved the first step in fulfilling its promise to maximize the value of its assets for investors. The spin off of ElephantTalk is the first in the process of monetizing Hartcourt's assets through public divestitures. We expect the capitalization of ElephantTalk to validate our investment in ET and set the stage for the public listings of SinoBull and AI-Asia. Further details of the merger, including equity distributions via dividend shares, will be forthcoming.''
THAT'S DIVIDEND SHARES that I'm reading here. Where does it say there will be none??
I too am interested in the ETLK dividend shares promised HRCT shareholders. If we don't get them, then in order to possess them we must purchase them - that's right buy something back that we now own as holders of HRCT shares - not a fair deal In my opinion. If we don't buy them then all that has happened is that we lose 48.2% of ETLK, still not a fair deal, so I vote for the dividend shares and I'm thinking a .12 share of ETLK for every share of HRCT heldor 12 shares for nevery 100 held if my math is correct.
Well I think owners of Hartcourt shares deserve the distribution of free Elephanttalk shares that were promised. If we don't get them then our reward is losing 48.2% of Elephanttalk. Not much of a reward for supporting Hartcourt and no incentive for new buyers of Hartcourt until Hartcourt drops in share price to reflect the loss of 48.2% of ET. What's next we lose half of Sinobull also?
Bedfordboy
Exactly the way I see it also Free. I much prefer all the companies to stay with Hartcourt for years to come. With the spinoffs, (if and when they happen) I fear management will merge or buyout other companies until we have an inflated outstanding share base and a deflated share price, much like Hartcourt is now.
Anyway Hartcourt still has to show that it can make it as it is before dividing itself up. JMO
Bedford Boy
OK who did it?
Who bought and who sold the 100 shares of Staruni?? C'mon 'fess up, who did it?
rumors on raging bull...
In a statement from Miami, Florida, company chairman Michael Zwebner said, "In the past week, there has been a flurry of comments and rumors published mainly on the Raging Bull chat line for WLGS. I wish to make emphatically clear that only statements emanating from the company through official channels, and issued and published by duly authorized officers and or directors of the company are to be considered real, correct and official. All comments and rumors published by any persons, shareholders, investors or just Internet posters, should not be believed without an official corporate statement."
good luck to all,
dj
I don't get it...why would a few more companies on the OTC break any sort of a stranglehold the MM's, shorters, and bashers have on HRCT. Wouldn't it just provide them with more work to do - more work = more money -, and why are we happy to have another stock listed on the OTC, haven't we been trying for a year to get off the OTC with HRCT and go NASDAQ, GEM or HK exchange unsuccessfully.
I'm here and I've been here for over 2 years and i'm still a buyer at these prices but I've got to agree with Mark it is getting old. I like the chances with HRCT but I'd rather have no p.r. than one like the last one that was incomplete as far as details of the spinoff goes -when is it going to happen, how many shares of HRCT is needed for each share of ET i.e. 10/1, 20/1 etc.
And I know times are tough economically and politically.

APEC tech fair opens in scenic city
(SONG WENWEI)
09/22/2001
SUZHOU: Technology and economic co-operation are the focal points of APEC's Technomart IV exposition, which opened here yesterday and runs through Tuesday.
All 21 APEC member economies sent officials, as did 1,000 domestic and overseas companies, universities and research institutions.
"This is an occasion for China to demonstrate its scientific and technological achievements and to help other APEC members to learn about China's current economic situation," Minister of Science and Technology Xu Guanhua said at the opening ceremony.
He noted that APEC has played an important role in forging technological co-operation among members, speeding up trade liberalization and promoting the economic and social progress in the Asia-Pacific region.
Technological innovation is a key component of China's efforts to compete globally as its markets continue to open up, he said.
Suzhou, an ancient and scenic city in East China's Jiangsu Province, has enjoyed rapid economic and social development in the decade.
"The convening of APEC Technomart IV in Suzhou will produce a far-reaching impact on the province's scientific progress and innovation," said Jiangsu Governor Ji Yunshi.
Jiangsu is positioned well to develop science and technology. The province boasts the largest number of universities and students in China as well as about 100 State- and provincial-level development zones and high-tech industrial parks. As a result, the province enjoys one of the nation's fastest growing economies.
"The province has witnessed increasingly close co-operation with other APEC member economies, which has a great significance to ours," Ji said.
Most APEC members have investments in Jiangsu, comprising a large proportion of Jiangsu cities' gross domestic product and tax revenues.
The five-day fair features forums on financial innovation and economic development in the Asia-Pacific region, industrial park co-operation and new technologies. There will also be exhibitions of high-tech products as well as business transactions and agreement signing.
The fair is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation and Jiangsu's provincial government. It was organized by the China Technology Market Management and Promotion Centre, the Jiangsu Science and Technology Department and the Suzhou municipal government.

I'm thinking that with our fingers in as many pies as we have, there should be some news. Speaking of news I'm glad China is taking this position on the terrorism...

Jiang holds telephone talks with Blair, Chirac and Putin
(09/19/2001) (China Daily)
President Jiang Zemin held separate telephone conversations with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and French President Jacques Chirac, exchanging views on the international situation after the terrorist attacks on the US.
Jiang told both leaders that the eradication of terrorism as a major menace to the international community can only be achieved with global co-operation, making such an effort both pressing and necessary.
But in talks with Blair, he cautioned that any military action to counter terrorism must be based on concrete evidence with a definite target and should not hurt innocent people in line with the objectives and principles of the UN Charter as well as widely-recognized norms in international laws.
Jiang's telephone conversation with Blair was conducted at the request of his British counterpart.
It is necessary for the UN Security Council to play its due role, Jiang said, adding all actions should help maintain the long-term interests of world peace and development.
Jiang described terrorism as "becoming a prominent threat to world peace and stability and a grave common scourge of the international community," and said the Chinese Government is firmly opposed to any kind of international terrorism.
The terror attacks in New York and Washington last Tuesday have resulted in the deaths of thousands of civilians from the US and another 26 countries and regions.
The United Kingdom has reported more than 100 casualties while China has confirmed two civilians died and a score of overseas Chinese are still unaccounted for, according to official data.
Blair told Jiang that it was necessary to trade views between the two nations under such a circumstance. He briefed Jiang on the views of the British side on the issue in the talks.
Jiang said China strongly condemns this horrible act of terrorism, adding that the Chinese people stand side by side with the American and British people as well as the international community on the issue of anti-terrorism.
When talking with Chirac, Jiang said under the current circumstances, relevant sides should "keep calm and deal with relevant issues cautiously." All actions should be conducive to the long-term interests of world peace and development.
Chirac said European countries voiced their support to US following the terrorist attacks. He said all efforts should be made to fight terrorism.
Jiang and Chirac agreed in their talks that China and France will continue to keep close consultation and co-operation on important issues involving global peace and stability.
In his talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin last night, Jiang said the United Nations Security Council should play a full role in the co-operation to fight against terrorism. The five permanent members of the Security Council should enhance dialogue to further efforts in anti-terrorism.
He added that China and Russia hold the same stance and interests when tackling terrorism.
Putin agreed with Jiang, saying the international co-operation mechanism against terrorism should be improved as soon as possible.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao also said yesterday that China is ready to engage in dialogue and consultation with the international community and Washington in the fight against global terrorism.
Zhu confirmed yesterday that Chinese Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan was on his way to the United States in a return visit to Powell's trip to China this July.
