While I'm not a Futbol fan either
several years of living in Latin America proved to me that there, and throughout much of the rest of the world, we are very much a minority.
Logo souvenirs of sporting events appear to create a disproportionate collecting frenzy among fans as seen by the huge swapfests of Olympic pins, and futbol fans are more manic than most. The watches will probably do well.
But you raise an excellent point that another question for the CC would be an update on the lighting products sales to Latin America including some dollar figures for a change.
Shhh! it’s a secret but -
There has been activity on the FIFA watch front. So if you haven’t been kept informed it’s just that, as minority shareholders, perhaps you shouldn’t expect too much! But here are some hidden gems for y’all from my stash.

Enjoy!
We need to "base" at .018 minimum
over the next few days to give us a decent starting platform for CAPC to jump to .037 to.039 within the next 60 days.
We need daily volumes of 1M or more going into the conference call, with an increase thereafter to daily volumes in the 5M+ area to create and sustain interest and the all important momentum.
We will need a professional conference call orchestrated by KEI with analysts invited to participate and gather information regarding the anticipated 2013 record results and then we need follow-up!
Today's volume and pricing (minus the game playing) was an encouraging step.
WOW, From .019 to .0135 in 30 minutes!
Welcome to the exciting, wacky world of CAPC.
RVD was not talking about major Network TV.
I believe RVD was referencing utilization of the form of advertising known as "PI deals" with which I am sure you are familiar as a media professional. Oversimplifying slightly, there is no major up-front cost to the PI client; the advertising is paid for as a cost-per-unit sold, or as a product discount to the agency handling the sale. (There are myriad ways of structuring these deals.) These are frequently the basis for the ubiquitous "As Seen On TV" miasma of miraculous gadgetry available via late-night television.
Capstone could afford this type of exposure and would be relatively at home with the technology and price structure of the other midnight merchants. (By the way, whatever happened to the "Home Shopping Network" project?)
A second relatively inexpensive method of reaching a target audience is co-op advertising. For example, Capstone might get placement as a featured product in a Costco flyer, or store "specials" handout, thus directly enhancing their point-of-sale presentation. Payment could be negotiated as a one-off discount to Costco for the duration of the promotion.
I certainly agree with you about the "1% effort" that Capstone seems to feel adequate for the promotion of our product line either through advertising or publicity.
It doesn't apply at all to stock splits
Not sure how this applies to stock splits?
Bull, You've made two good points:
Yes Bull, I hold 3.5M+
That's been the case for some time; I do not condone flipping as it hurts the share value and reputation. You might remember management condemned the practice although some on this board continue to espouse it as clever trading.
So each time CAPC stock rises or falls .001 I gain or lose (on paper) some $3500.
Do you think that anyone in their right mind could believe I want to see the price decline? I've got all the shares I presently want. When I predict share volume or price movement it is simply that; a prediction.
(And I'm damn good at it as the recordshows.)
Perhaps CAPC Stockholders are now beginning to believe
something I have maintained for years.
Trying to predict thinly traded penny stock action with "technical" graph analysis is a fool's errand. Statistical analysis, of which technical analysis is a subset, is dependent on a large historical database.
Even the nice (for CAPC) volume and price appreciation 10 days ago was not sufficient to overcome this handicap.
The stock will move up on PR's announcing a good quarter or an interesting product and the charts will faithfully trail such news. Once the excitement wanes, the price will again fall off. There is not sufficient consistency of performance to sustain what charting is useful for, that being trend analysis.
I use charting extensively with my own big-board investments. but only rarely, and that only for very long term trend analysis on CAPC.
But those charts sure are pretty and the T/A sounds so scientific I can see their appeal.
Diz, If flippers suspect I've got insider information
they're all going to want some, so let's keep it a secret.<g>
Yes, I do feel that there will be another chance to take some more nice profits off this stock as I, and others who followed my accurate prediction, did back in 2007 on my unique BUY recommendation preceding the the delightful jump to 6 cents.(OK - 5.9 cents if you want to pick nits.)
Trouble is, I believe there will be some better buy-in prices as much as 20% or more below today's close and that these will occur over the next ten weeks barring some earth shattering news from A.C. Kinetics.
Of course, those who believe in reading tea leaves, charting thinly traded penny stocks or finding significance in the L2 at these volume levels should express their contrary opinions.
It makes my successful predictions look so much better,
No trades in the past hour
Only ~$2000 traded in first three hours.
Alas poor little momentum; we hardly knew ye.
(But take cheer Capciters, better times are coming!)
Perhaps folks are mourning The Demise of Momentum?
Bull, I'm all in favor of "Rich"
And while CAPC has potential, kinetc beats potential hands down when it comes to movement (That's a physicists' pun y'all)
So I'm really interested to hear what A.C has to offer.
Nice volume surge toward the close!
New Highs next week? Not gonna happen unless
Townie's "Big News a'Commin" comes to pass in rhe meantime.
Could happen - We've certainly waited long enough for the mysterious A.C. Kinetics to speak up.
What did you find "sad" about
CAPC BID at .0156; ASK dropped to .016
Nice B/A but useless without trades
As of 2:00pm, some four and a half hours into the session, only ~$2500 of CAPC had changed hands.
That's sad, given the good product placement news posted by RVD and others.
Finally, after three hours, a trade
and that was at the bid sending the stock down over 8%
The only decent trade so far was 100k at 10:35/37 that went at .014.
Looks like a lot of flippers can't get out without taking severe losses
I'll bet they wish they had never been invited to the party.
Capstone closed down over 10% today
Despite those lovely charts.
In the last two hours of trading there was one "Hail Mary" trade of 6940 shares (almost exactly $100) to keep CAPC from closing down 18%
That pitiful little trade was the ONLY trade in the final TWO HOURS of today's session
You are correct about day-traders and the reference should have included other flippers as well, as they are the ones with their nether parts still caught in the proverbial vise.
All day-traders are flippers but not all flippers are day traders.
Thanks for your correction.
Unfortunately it won't help CAPC.
The "good" news is ->
You're going to have PLENTY of dips to take advantage of as the day-traders flip CAPC stock to avoid further short-term losses thus saving funds to "invest" in the next great Stock Du Jour to be touted on the internet by some amateur promoter(s).
This was not unexpected - several of us predicted this result quite accurately just last week!
The dangers presented by CAPC "Flippers"
Could easily be seen on the bid/ask this afternoon when the ask size was at one time thirty-five times the bid size.
A large quantity of stock was offered at .0173 but only a fraction traded at that time.
These flippers are stuck. Expecting to make a quick buck as the stock passed .02, instead they are now faced with the simple truth that momentum has died and the price is relatively stagnant in the .017 area.
So as any good flipper will do, they must now dump some of those millions of shares purchased earlier this week and move on to the next great opportunity to make a quick buck.
Never look back at the damage they caused (and this problem is most definitely one that affects CAPC stock!)
This is good advice:
Oops, Typo ~ My Bad!
In my earlier post I stated the last trade of the day was around 2:15PM.
It should have read 1:15PM which is even worse.
Sorry about that.
Today at 01:02:07 PM I stated:
I guess you didn't mean today?
you said:
While we were all encouraged
by Capstone eking out a profit for the year to date, and the strong probability of adding on a record 4th quarter, do not expect instant gratification via the stock price.
We needed strong momentum to carry the price upward.
We are not getting it.
Without it the stock will drift lower, back to recent levels of around .013- .015 until shortly before the 10-K, or until a major announcement, whichever comes first.
Yes, I do believe good times are coming ................Later.
Excellent Post RVD, Worthy of a "sticky"
Hurricaneman - a question on those salaries:
You are quite right about the boys taking salary "reductions". My question is did they really "defer" taking part of their salary thus allowing it to accrue?
Seems to me I recall this question being answered, perhaps in a 10-K but I don't recall where or when.
Anyone?
Diz, Imagine my surprise
on not receiving a solicitation (LOL)
This despite holding over3.5 millions shares which is more than I held the last time they solicited a stealth attack clandestine vote.
The joys of Penny Stocks
The last trade of today was at 2:24pm for 3951 shares at .0126, that was a total trade of $49.78
As the stock had traded throughout the day at .0146, that last little insignificant trade knocked the closing price down 22%.
Shareholder voting? It's a matter of semantics.
Yes, they had to go to the "shareholders" to reach the 50.1% majority they needed to railroad through the the vote.
The "Best Stock in the OTC"
has traded so far this week ~$3500 of stock and has a management that is apparently denying its shareholders the transparency of a conference call.
Container Store Catalog Received in mailbox today!
Titled "Stocking Stuffers" this small 47 page mailer includes, among other fascinating gadgets, on page 28 a picture and text promoting the Mini Eco-I-Lite for $12.99.
A footnote adds: "See this product inaction at"
Containerstore.com/giftvideos
Enjoy!
Being open and transparent signifies honest, effective management.
Allowing questions via a conference call, especially in this time of the questionable Wallach/Postal maneuver mandates one.
The absence of a CC for the 3rd quarter would be a slap in the face for us shareholders and another example of poor management!
I'll bet............. There will be no conference call !!!.
Bull, Isn't that EXACTLY what a CC does?
EOM
Does CAPC need a Conference Call?
The following article from Investopedia is too long to quote here but for those interested in seeing why a conference call is important to present or potential CAPC shareholders, it is an informative read.
http://www.investopedia.com/articles/02/022702.asp
Bull, Not so much a question of
Do they "have to" have a CC as it is "will they".
In my opinion it would set a very poor precedent to do away with this opportunity to make"forward looking statements"
Conference Call vs Q&A?
I believe there is some confusion on this issue.
IMO there will be a conference call as usual.
I believe the original question was whether or not CAPC would eliminate the call-in question part of the CC.
