Ascent Solar was a great idea in 2013. It still is a great idea. They kind a got held out to dry. The idea they had in 2003 and 2008 is more relevant for today. They were just way ahead of the times. They had big steam and dropped off. lack of adaption. Takes time for people and technology to adapt. Takes time for all to come together... batteries, solar, tech. Its all in a great ball of energy that we all are in. ASTI is at the forefront of that technology. it's coming. Technology is not a one and done. Ascent Solar is a respected company in this area. This is why I am invested in ASTI.

Heck yes it was a good day - but also a great week. ASTI held strong under pressure all week. Stuck the line. ASTI has momentum.

I sold many solid stocks to move deeper into this position with ASTI. The upside far outweighs the loss I may have taken on the other stocks selling early. 30% gain in one day is ridiculous. If you feel comfortable with a risk - I would say ASTI is a great investment. It's not a sure thing - but its got incredible potential long term. For me - I would rather risk and gain reward rather than sit around and see it run and not have more skin in the game. If I lose - its ok - been there done that. Just get up and do it again. Plus - its fun as hell to see it run.

this week has been brutal. To see ASTI hold its ground through the week is reassuring. I agree with others that any positive news at all will crank this puppy up. Just a matter of time and patience. Even if we drop from here - I am still in to see that jump when the news comes in.

I do not analyze stock charts - not my thing. But I research. There are lots of loose ends on ASTI that need to get tied up. I anticipate these loose ends are being tied up. Not much info coming out. It's a restructure. And that takes many months on the fast track. I don't think this is a 3 month investment. This is a 2 year - 5 year investment. Prices on the stock can go where ever - but 2 years out ASTI will evolve. ASTI manufactures - and this takes time for production to ramp up. not 3 months. Real value comes in 2 years. That is when the big pay off comes. You can get out in 3 months - but if it all works as we all see it -- 2 years is minimum for production to ramp up to see positive earnings with big support. Thats my take. And I'll take the ramp up in stock value for 2-5 years as ASTI grows. Im in for for the long run. I go long.

This is my first post on this site. this site reminds me of the 90s. anyhow I had ASTI on my radar for a long time - year or so and got lazy then saw the tic up pop on my radar and said "whoops". then I picked up a bunch at .007 - on your comments and my own research and just love for solar and where its all going. I got to tell you - your input has been awesome. Plus all the people on this thread - I appreciate it very much from everyone. thank you. I am in long with ASTI. I have pulled in a ton since then.
