Money, gross. I can't stand the stuff!
Iiiiiiiish, get it away!
Ick! Ick! I hate money.
I hate money. You hate money. Let's just rid ourselves of some more money!
I just kinda think it's it's that simple right?
Which one guys? I'm stumped on this one.
Or???????
INVESTOR: "HELL YA!!!!!! Let's do this."
https://money.cnn.com/2018/07/24/media/moviepass-reverse-stock-split/index.html
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeweel! Crash!
HMNY: "Hey dude, that was fun!!!!! Let's do it again."
INVESTORS: "Um, I would rather not."
With the vote to be counted after the meeting. Are votes disclosed to the company in the run up to the meeting and the official count? If the current information is known to HMNY why shouldnt it be made available to the investors? There has to be further understanding of plans of future desicions before any confidence can be put into the hands of this company.
Went from .018 to .02 in the last 15 mins of normal day then immediatly balanced back to .018 at the start of AH. Then same thing at very end of AH. I wouldn't get hopes up of news. HMNY if smart is conserving any bullets for end of next week and for the week after. Relatively low volume today respectively. I wouldnt count the tail wags to be anything more than a dog looking for attention. The 6% gain of today was all end of day. Just a pickup to help negate tomorrow's equal loss. Can't go into next week below .015 Despite AH & PM price it tends to open where it left off from the day before so to close at .02 gives it enough range to play down 10% and still maintain it current average into next week. But I guess this is the last weekend before the meeting/vote so it would be the time to pull a trick so the retail public would have something to talk about all weekend.
I have researched this. It's all about the wording. It doesn't mean that if you don't submit a vote it automaticly counts as a "no" vote. It means no vote is cast for your shares. It means not a "yes" not a "no". Also to submit nothing also means that you don't count toward the quorum count. I think this is there angle for success. If insufficient votes are made sure won't achieve majority (o/s) votes to pass the R/S. But where everyone thinks their won't be enough "yes" votes for the adjournment if a quorum is not met then the adjournment will by default be the result. I have been thinking this for a while. But your reference to the quote from the def14a confirms my theory. Thanks, this is important for everyone to understand.
I really like BobVisse coverage blogs of MP and HMNY. But he kind of makes me wonder about his motivation and actions. At one point he swears against shorting but in an article I read the author states that he knows Bob lends his HMNY shares to shorters for a percentage cut. Also the last article on his website "HMNY bull is dead" he swears off anymore blogs, but he did post one more article "why has MP gone dark" where he points out information about certain MP advertising that was seen during football advertising. But then he took the article down. Does anyone keep up with his Twitter or have the link? I just wonder if he doesn't know more but has chosen to stay silent due to HMNY influence.
I know the point has been made that Ted is all about $ for himself. And I can relate to that because frankly I like money. But doesn't he have any dignity regarding his public image? I have said it before he is literally the Dr. Kavorkian of businesses. But wouldn't he want to achieve something substantial and meanful with his life if given the chance. I would much rather be rich and appreciated than be rich and afraid to get spit on whenever I went out in public.
Good point. Set the shareholder div date for R/S date to get people to either buy in or hold. Then equate their dividend shares to after R/S ratio thus giving out less shares. I wonder if they announce div date before or after it occurs.
I would have to say that the amount of MP shares would have to be equal to the amount of equity shares released on to the market above the previous HMNY share count. Any and all aquisitions were bought with money from the sale of those shares. I suppose a share value count could be calculated for the cost of moviefone but the 91.1% of MP should have a simple recorded value as well. HMNY on it's own is boring. They really don't do anything nor have done anything tangable. Their filings report little to no activity or profit, $100,000 or so if I remember correctly. But their shares hovered around $30 before the MP involvment if I'm not mistaken.
Doesn't a spin off just give the opportunity to double dilute (DeuceDil)
There will be a ruling and a agreement between MP & Sinemia which has been stayed multiple times. I'm not against the idea that would be a win for MP. I'm not against the idea of it being somekind of partnership between the two. I just doubt we hear about it on the 29th.

This is real simpl to understand. A 1/2 R/S renders a pps of $0.036 Does that satisfy the NASDAQ minimum pps? No, no it does not. Let's stay with a conservative R/S ratio, let's just say 1/100. That gets pps to $1.80 but it's only going to hold for 10 minutes, not 10 days. Even a 1/500 is only going to get pps to $9.00 And even that is going to be very unstable unless it has some solid accompanying supportive PR. HMNY better start rationing it's "good news" releases. I think they are jumping the gun with this weeks news and should have held their draw. The only option they have is to utilize 1/500.
I am curious about if the patent will stay with MP or if it will be assumed by HMNY.
I have mentioned this already, multiple times. I am doing my best to be a contributor and help out this group. The ruling has been rescheduled untill Nov 29th. More than a month away.
Last R/S it could have been 1/2-1/250. But it was 1/250. So with the R/S option being increased up to 1/500, it's a pretty good chance it will be on the higher end of the spectrum.
Court ruling rescheduled till end of Nov.
Nobody!
I'm a dreamer to. But hey, I just couldn't resist.
Yeah, its been updated yet again as well. Link @ #34606
Hello-o-o-o. Is there anyone out there-re-re-re. Did this board change over to business hours? Sheesh. Wish I was as good at investing as you guys. I have to go to work during the day.
In reading the Reddit post about the loss of e-ticketing partner chains someone mentions MP issuing new cards from Chase anyone have more info on anything like this?
Ted is like Dr. Kavorkian, he doesn't leave untill the patient flatlines.
Has anyone found anymore information regarding the loss of the 3 cinema chains from e ticketing over the weekend?
Another question I have is in regards to buyout marketability of MP with the current legal situations. Anyone who would potentially buy them would have to be reasposible for subsiquent legal liabilities. Could HMNY be seeking R/S as a method the aquire the funds to settle any settlement costs prior to the potential of a buyout opportunity?
Taken from the Spain article Mitch references Canada and Mexico are not targets for MP due to the cinema chain dominance in those markets. I was gathering that perhaps Sinemia jumped into Canadian market in hopes of Sinemia Enterprise integration.
One thing I have only seen in the LiveWire buyout spoof is that the EU is the next target for MP after Spain.
Sorry, I should have included it. I thought everyone had it saved as a favorite and checked it daily, like me. I should
have said something sooner. Forgive me. Anyone have an account, want to log in and fill us in on any details?

Pacer shows case rescheduled again for 11/26.
Wonder how Verizon feels about that partnership.
I'm not against the consensus here on the MB. I'm in support of a "no/no" vote. But I just wanted to ask about history of previous companies looking to R/S that were denied and proformance results that followed. The CEO and the board and the proxy solicitors all make the claim that no R/S will lead to certain delist or worse. Does history at all support their claims? R/S carries seemingly absolute historical negatives, so what ground do they have to insinuate that an R/S is their only option. Also the way the company is being operated are the investors screwed either way no matter what the result. And today we were issued a list of institutional investors, what is our assumption of where their votes will land?
... 2.1million per the recent Mitch Spain article.
So back when MP fell behind with it's transaction processors only e-ticketing was available. Why would your assumed reason these theater chains are no longer e-ticketing locations be that MP was low on cash?I'm not so much arguing as I am curious to how the e-ticketing system functions on the business agreement side. Is e-ticketing the preferred method for MP over the debit card? I have read that e-ticketing locations give a discount to MP is this true? Is there one universal e-ticketing processor or is it chain specific? Could the three chains that are no longer e-ticketing with MP all be using the same handling company?
That is HMNY's exact public response to the AG verbatum. There is an action of influence through out the day that is not simply from short trades. The chart does not behave natural and does not flow organically. I have thoughts to reasons as of why but frankly I am reluctant to express them because I think I will be called crazy and I myself think they are crazy. So I simply make statements drawing attention to the chopped peaks and the propped floor.
I tend to reply as I catch up through the day. Had not gotten that far yet. GW
I'm with you. Obviously something sneaky going on, that's an understatement. That's why I wish instead of rivaling against each other we could find a way to put this board to use and collaborate. Lots of intelligence within the group but it does not get focused and if we could aligns ourselves I feel we could figure this beast out.
Not untill Nov
At this point the HMNY security is majority played at a greed level. The percentage of those that invest with a concept of appreciation have already bailed. HMNY is a volotilty play and it has grown from a sea of tides to an ocean of waves. It's holders gamble on an illusion of assumed predictability. It takes on mass influx of investors and loses droves of investors on a daily basis. This stock is an amazing apparition of sentiment. It's a phantom. Even if it could reach a level of $1 it would be based upon speculation alone and would vanish as quickly as is was achieved (as shown in it's previous examples of pps increase and fall). HMNY has no real anything, no debt, no property. It would be difficult to hold any value because it is nothing. Purely mental energy projected into the market from the thoughts of hypnotized investors. All $ input into it is funneled out by HMNY and channeled out into nothingness aquisitions "intellectual vapor". It's not the "scared" investor tanking the price. It is HMNY whom is chopping the tops and leveling the peaks.
It will never see $1, not with 1.5billion shares.
DrkP, I'm trying to figure out your position. Most of your posts are obnoxious claims of outrageous profits, pompous statements of aquiring agredious volumes of shares and bold claims of position control. If you have achieved any of these things they all were due to the earlier R/S. Wouldn't you be wishing for a repeat of your successes and hoping for another R/S instead of influenceing others against such a result?
