I'm thinking now would be a great time to remove the sticky with the misleading headline : )
Didn't someone speak with management and relay "NO NEWS COMING"!
Hmmm... More baseless speculation with sounds of desperation.
Contacting management isn't going to help you. Their not at liberty to divulge when or where their going to release news- it's illegal...
Just more baseless accusations with sounds of desperation.
We as investors are continuously searching for that next opportunity to capitalize on innovation.
The visionaries at Cannabix Technologies along with the world class researchers at UFL are moving ever closer to commercializing their scientific breakthrough, and we are a part of it!

Ahh yes... I completely forgot about Prof. Haick, BreathTec's newest affiliate.
Hound Labs is not detecting THC, their measuring a "Tag Molecule". I just don't see the use of this interface configuration withstanding the scrutiny in US courts. Furthermore, Cannabix is detecting THC WITHIN A TWO HOUR WINDOW, and everything else that Dr Huestis gave in her PITTCON presentation. Take Owlstone's Chip added behind the proprietary Yost 3D Electrode and split off the test for Heroin, LSD, Bath Salt's, the list goes on and on. How would you Tag that? You would need something like a soda fountain machine hooked up to do it, each would require a separate Tag Chemical. The Owlstone Chip, you just set the program of the Analytics for that Molecule (VOCs) and nothing else will come through.
The key here folks is:
- The ability to detect THC within a TWO HOUR WINDOW.
- The versatility to detect multiple controlled substances.

Beta 1.0, oops...
The "massive fridge sized", "million dollar", state of the art mass spectrometer is the gold standard benchmark the "stand alone" Beta 2.0 is being modeled after.
Test results from the "stand alone" Beta 2.0 are being compared against results from the "million dollar", "massive fridge sized" device for accuracy and calibration.
It's called "scientific research" or "efficacy".

HANDHELD trace detection instrumentation has been used by the military, ATF, DEA and security forces around the globe since the early 2000's.
These devices employ similar technologies developed by Yost Research to detect trace elements/VOC's in parts-per-trillion and research has recently pushed the detection envelope into the part-per-quadrillion range. Basically, that would be like sniffing out a single tree on earth.
Several variations of these HANDHELD devices currently exist developed by various manufacturers using FAIMS, IMS, chromatography and spectrometric techniques (just to name a few) with a detector and ionizer as you referenced in your "wake up call". (Dr. Boock our resident expert could confirm that).
So to proclaim the HANDHELD technology doesn't exist, is impossible or won't exist or that a refrigerator sized component is required is without basis.

TODAY marks the one year anniversary of the partnership between Cannabix Technologies and UFL!
Your right... FAIMS & IMS was just to name a few. I forgot to mention chromatography and spectrometric techniques which are already considered antiquated by scientists and may not apply.
Your right again... Detection of trace elements/VOC's isn't the same as the detection of THC.
The point I'm trying to express is that the handheld technology exists.
Hey, maybe we should look into a company called Cannabix Technologies (otc: BLOZF) they were able to detect THC in breath samples!
"Cannabix management and University of Florida chemists have confirmed the ability to specifically detect THC at standard temperature and pressure".

rephrasing the company press release to convey an opinion is misleading when read out of context.

The need for the device is apparent. Demand will dictate the urgency and pace of R&D.

$30-40/share would value the company at $3-4 billion with one hundred million shares outstanding. That would be GREAT however, Imo an estimate of $3-4/share is plausible.
There's still plenty of buzz that the Beta 1.0 has to be coupled to a conventional mass spectrometer to detect THC.
"The Company is pleased to report that it has developed a stand-alone desktop sized “Beta 1.0” device with a proprietary configurable high voltage power supply which operates on conventional power sources."
"Preliminary lab tests of the FAIMS device coupled with conventional quadrupole mass spectrometry have shown similar levels of detection for THC standards."
The second quote conveys that the "stand alone" FAIMS device is achieving similar results as when coupled with a conventional mass spectrometer.

FAIMS = New technology
IMS = Old technology
At ease...
Resistance at $10, after that it's blue skies!!!
Chart setting up beautifully.
I'm thinking the company will be sold right after BETA 2.0
Excellent post!!!
The fact that Dr. Yost & Huestis are associated imo lowers the risk substantially. The scientific team involved in this are world renowned, determined and have a proven track record.
Progress may be slow but it's progress nontheless. It's fine to flip and take profits, my long position remains intact.
GLTA
I have to admit. My patience has been tested numerous times over the past several months however, it has been an opportune time to accumulate!
Let me dumb this down- Dr. Yost would not affiliate himself and jeopardize his reputation if he wasn't sure this would work.
New press... read the 2nd paragraph.

LEVEL II AND TRADE DETAIL STILL ISN'T WORKING!!! SHOULD I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION???
Agree... I believe the company is well positioned for a buyout. Remember who has their foot in the door with our sibling company.
Momentum should build as the word spreads.
