Or we could build one now with a bunch of 80 gram Lego like pieces. Hell we could build whatever we wanted with LiquidmetalLego! Patent pending! Lol
Sorry, you sound offended and that was not my intention. I was just glad Gamesc was back, with such an informative post I might add, only to be meet with the sarcasm.
I like your posts too!
...and a post like this is likely why Gamesc and others are not wasting their time posting on this board anymore. Many of us are very grateful for the info that Gamesc, Watts, and others post on this board.
I don't mind a sarcastic post when directed at management, I just feel that when it is directed at someone who contributes so much to the board you run the risk of running that person away therefore, making the board less than what it could be.
Thanks again to everyone that contributes so much to the board and taking the edge off holding this bag!
I like the pic of the "chess piece" lol
Thanks Watts
Never mind!
Who is this guy? Gerald E. Morrow. Says he is CFO on your link. How old is this info before I spend the time digging.
I would say "follow the money" but LQMT has made nothing to speak of at this time. "Greed is good" and those greedy SOB are setting themselves up for some easy money, or easier money depending on your view of management.
That someone needs to drop their price so I can load up! Weak hands fold. I agree that insiders would not give themselves options if things were bad. Not many in a hurry to hit the sell button either.
Weak hands fold.
Love it! Sounds like a valid argument to me. Others will argue that Apple would say they invested a lot more on research and development.
Actually, I don't think opportunity cost is measured against treasury yields. It's measured against the next best alternative that your money or time could be spent, from what I remember.
Hopefully we could do better than the treasury yields!
Difference is most have never heard of the MA knife company.
You are absolutely correct. They only rebuttal I have is that our resume is getting better and with that we should get better contracts down the road. We just can't dismiss the fact we are working with the best of breed in Apple, Swatch, and Martin. These are household names that are leaders in their industries. Others will follow.
I know a lot of people think this Martin deal isn't going to move the needle and they my be right, but it is a fact that Martin is one the best guitar makers out there. Anyone who thinks they are going to put less than the best quality stuff on their guitars is foolish. Soon potential customers are going to see a lot of quality companies using our stuff and we will get this train rolling along.
No one changes their strings every day. In fact, the worst thing to do before a gig is to change the strings. The strings will stretch and you will constantly be tuning on stage and no one wants to see that.
Man, that is so wrong! Lol
Saw that you and night201 responded to a now deleted post on Li-fi. Wish I could have read them. Should have mention that LQMT might make some widget for it so we will be rich and my post and your response would still be here. Sorry no link just a wild guess. Wink wink.
Well, now I'm curious! Respect your wishes but hope you change your mind. Have a good day!
Thanks for all of your posting. Very interesting information.
Thanks. Figured a lot of us might be speechless or stunned with the share price decline.
I think it could have at least been mentioned with this press release.
You would hope the name Liquidmetal name would become synonymous with amorphous glass. Xeroxing for copying and googling for search are a couple examples.
I admit my key has pretty dull but I was neither lying or pumping. Thanks for posting the pic.
No scratches on my 6 but it has been in a case. Try scratching my keys on it and still no scratches.
When I scrolled to the bottom and it said "add to bag" I thought about the bag we have been holding for awhile now.
Not cool kicking a man while his is down......around $945,000, at least in 2010. Hopefully not for much longer!
Hey, lets do the car panels are/are not consumer electronics debate again!
Thanks, I think I saw an article like that one a bit ago but a different source. I hope this will be true and not another "pump". Although a pump that gets us up to 8.5 cents shouldn't really be called a pump at all.
Don't forget corrosion proof. Apple Watch in the ocean would be nice selling point!
I agree. It's finding that sweet spot that seems to be the trouble. So much for "low hanging fruit".
I think Jollyman is right. For example, I had this plastic hook piece break in my microwave door. Apparently it is such a problem that people have made YouTube video on how to fix the thing by drilling a tiny hole and reattaching the spring so the stupid door will stay shut.
This part could be made from Liquidmetal and solve this known defect in this product. A reason they might do this is cost. Certainly the product will be made better but it would cost more. The cost will be passed to the consumer and then you buy the microwave next to it in Home Depot because it's cheaper. Cost does matter.
Thanks, I do remember pieces but had forgotten about the variety of colors.
The key to this is the process and not the amount of knives that they hope to sell. I thought someone on the board would recall a technique or patent that would shed some light on this new knife.
Come on Stocksgreen give it up if you know something. Will Apple be able to make car panels in more than just standard LM105 and black? Can I get MA knife in Hunter Green and Cobalt Blue?
I think it's cool too! Can anyone explain the process to me. Can't find what I want online. Are the ingots pre colored? How difficult is it to add or change a color?
Agreed, that should have stay off the website.
Now about that black knife. I'm interested in what anyone can tell me about adding color to BMG. I thought they were working on it but had no idea that they had product any parts.
I thought someone joked about waiting for the space gray or rose gold version and I got quite the chuckle out of it. The black knife does seem like they are testing color for a bigger project.
Can't believe that the chess sets still comes up in conversation. I'm I the only one who thought that this was a "project" for the intern and not a serious attempt at generating revenue.
I always pictured it like this: "We don't really have much for you to do right now but why don't you get familiar with the 3D modeling program. Make whatever you want!"
As soon as I heard the intern was working on it I thought BS project you give a intern so they are not sharpening pencils all day.
So where do you think the roughly half dozen machines are located? We have two of the I guess and Swatch might be using a couple. I hoping that four isn't considered roughly a half dozen.
Barney should have paid for some of that intelligence before jumping in on his deal with Liquidmetal if his resources are so overreaching.
Like our government! Lol
