Mr. Turrini has satisfied the terms of the agreement which grants 750,000 R-144 shares and 750,000 S-8 shares upon signing a Field Trial Agreement with a large US based network company or a large US based carrier for testing the Calypso ASNAP patented technology. These shares have been accrued in the financial statements.
2Q is out just like we said it would be. What say you now LG? We are in complete compliance, fully reporting and can now move to the OTCBB.
Notice that it says Turrini has completed one piece of his performance bonus by "signing a Field Trial Agreement with a large US based network company or a large US based carrier for testing the Calypso ASNAP patented technology."
I think "large" is an understatement.
More on Nokia Siemens and FMC:
"Nokia and Siemens have agreed a joint venture operation for their communications service provider businesses. The move will create one of the largest global players in the telecoms infrastructure sphere, with a distinct expertise in FMC."
"FMC: The biggest asset of the new company is its leading position in FMC products and services. Given the pedigree of its constituent partners - Nokia's mobile know-how and Siemens fixed and mobile expertise - Nokia Siemens Networks has a distinct expertise in FMC that gives it expansive advantages for leading triple-play and quadruple-play activities globally. "The communications industry is converging, and a strong and independent Nokia Siemens Networks will be ideally positioned to help customers lower costs and grow revenue while managing the challenges of converging technology," said Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, the chief executive of Nokia and chairman of Nokia Siemens Networks."

The world’s third biggest telecom equipment manufacturer, Nokia Siemens Networks, is planning an aggressive effort to improve its position in the North American market, according to the joint venture’s Chief Executive Officer, Simon Beresford-Wylie.
“Nokia Siemens is number one or number two in all markets except North America, where we’re sixth,” the CEO commented in a recent conference in Toronto. “We are determined to have a position in North America that’s representative of our global position generally.”

Look at this Nokia-Siemens presentation on FMC. They are pushing it to their carriers. The value propositions on the final couple of pages read just like Calypso's website.

To all the REAL investors here...we have made it over the hump and are on the brink of massive ASNAP licensing deals. Nokia-Siemens has 70% of the world's carriers as customers. And that's just one field trial. FMC is getting huge traction, CLYW owns the patent and better yet has it working and installed on Nokia-Siemens networks. They have already lined up another field trial with a large carrier as per the filings. Very soon CLYW will be on everyone's radar.
I'd encourage all of you to "ignore" the noise on the board. As of now I am. Sorry LG, won't be reading your posts anymore.
Don't waste your breath Plaint. Some people are just bent a certain way and will probably be banging on the company even at $20.
Coastal Bend Capital is DE Wine brokerage in Houston 281 586-9640. They have been raising money for CLYW thru private placements and have been advising the company.
Once the 2Q is filed, DE Wine will move CLYW off the pinks and onto the OTCBB
Yes, you are right. Just talked to the Pink Sheets and they will look into the rating on CLYW now. They confirmed the 45 days but said the rating is likely to be changed upwards.
The passage Billcon posted is in every single "development stage" company filings. Pretty weak attempt.
We are now in compliance. Would expect a new rating from Pink Sheets now. You have 90 days to file your quarterly and it's only been 60 since the nd of 2Q. Having said that, I hear 2Q is done as well and will be filed soon.
1Q is out!
Calypso has been licensing ASNAP for exactly 6 months beginning when Turrini took over and changed the business model to licensing from making phones.
WRONG LG. Calypso has been licensing ASNAP for exactly 6 months beginning when Turrini took over and changed the business model to licensing from making phones. You knew that.
ASNAP - $1? Try $50. This will be a multi- billion dollar market cap company through Nokia-Siemens. Nokia-Siemens has about 75% of the world's carriers on their networks. We already know FMC will be world-wide and several carriers have stated so. So when Calypso's tech tests out, Nokia-Siemens will take ASNAP to 75% of the world's carrier networks. I don't think it's hit yet for most people how big this is going to be.
You know what LG, why don't you do some of your own DD and call the company yourself as a serious investor? 305 477-8722, ext 202 gets you to the secretary and she can connect you to Turrini.
Bill - just noticed your posts. I have you on ignore so I can only see them when I manage the board. I don't even remember the Franc Telecom deal b/c it was so long ago. You know what, there was a whole lot of BS that went on under Mendoza's watch, everybody knows that. He is gone now and so is Davila. They are off the BOD and they have no authority to do squat as evidenced by Turrini's affadavit to the court. Don't understand your motives in continuing to bring up the past BS under Mendoza et al.
In a small company and even in large companies for that matter, new leadership can change the company. Cristian Turrini is turning this company 180 degrees toward north now. He's got field trials going, he's got licensing discussions under way, he's cleaning up all the past BS, he's getting the filings done, he's kicked out the old guard.
You can choose to believe it or not, I really don't care but you would be better off dumping the past and getting on board.
Yes, Turrini said he is in fact helping finish the 1Q and 2Q filings. What are you going to complain about once those are done? I'm sure you'll come up with something!
Sando left for personal reasons. Understand he's having troubles at home and couldn't focus on the job enough. He's still helping finish the 1Q and 2Q filings though.
We now have confirmation in writing of the Nokia-Siemens field trial, that they have signed another field trial this time with a "large GSM carrier", that they have identified "several" other licensing opportunities, that they believe they will win the Bill of Review...
All the things I've been saying are now in print. We are on the verge of some massive licensing deals. Believe it. It's only a matter of time.
"Several" licensing opportunities have been identified:
The company has successfully demonstrated prototype applications of Seamless Session continuity of Voice, Video, and data. The company objectives include productization of the ASNAP technology with licensing to OEM partners. Several opportunities have been identified as possible OEM partnerships, carrier customers, as well as Enterprise customers.
Additional markets can occur with licensing of Calypso Wireless's IPR (bluetooth applications, patent-pending technologies) in the area of Satellite Communications as well as licensing the existing FMC patent for areas other than voice applications, such as video, music and data session continuity.
On the Daic case:
The Company believes that this new trial will reverse the judgment; however the outcome of this case is uncertain
You don't see that statement made in a 10k unless they are very confident of winning the case. Again, they have the goods on Daic and they know it.
Specific mention of the Nokia-Siemens field trial:
Alessandro Valenti -- Vice President of Research and Development. Mr. Valenti joined Calypso in February of 2006. He was co-founder, original architect and author of Sleipner S.A. software solutions that were developed for the European market and is incorporated in Calypso’s solutions. Mr. Valenti is working on the Nokia Siemens trial.
Potential licensors from 10k: Long list:
Chip companies (e.g. Intel, AMD, as well as specialist companies like Marvell, Agere, Mosaid, etc.)
Software OS companies (e.g. Microsoft, PalmOS, etc.)
Telecom Equipment companies (e.g. Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens, Nortel, etc.)
Cellular Handset companies (e.g. Sony Ericsson, RIM, Nokia, etc.)
Enterprise IP PBX Server companies (e.g. Avaya, Mitel, etc.)
Enterprise Applications companies (e.g. SAP, Microsoft, etc.)
Carrier Applications companies (e.g. IBM, RIM, BEA-Weblogic, etc.)
Virtual Operators (Disney Cellular, VoIP resellers, MVNOs, etc.)
Carriers (e.g. AT&T-Cingular, Verizon, Sprint-Embarq, Helio, etc.)
Specialized Vertical Applications (e.g. Satellite Media, Music, Video, etc.)
Another field trial! This time with a "large" GSM carrier. From 10k
Calypso Wireless’ has developed and patented technology that spans voice, video and data session transparency across macro-cellular networks and wireless local area networks. During 2007, Calypso began the development of a test unit with a large US based network company. in Boca Raton, Florida. Upon completion of the test unit, using the Calypso ASNAP technology, the companies expect to conduct a field trial with a large GSM wireless carrier. Further, the Company has been in discussion with companies regarding licensing. It is now shifting from pure research and development to beginning to work with companies regarding licenses. This was previously reported as the new business model for Calypso
Great news. Teleconference was held last night with Judge Baker at 4pm regarding the depositions that Daic's attorneys keep trying to avoid. Just talked to the court clerk. The judge ruled against Daic saying that the depositions will no longer be put off and they will be held on Sept 7, 8 and 10th. It's over for Daic. This was the killer blow. The deps will seal his fate. Knowing now that he's now lost the Bill of Review, he has to start worrying about Calypso filing criminal charges. Would not be surprised to see a settlement before the depositions are heard but either way, it's over.
From an email from the court clerk..."Judge Baker will make sure depositions get taken"
Turn out the lights...
Daic's attorneys are playing games trying to avoid the depositions that will sink their entire case. These were the depositions from Carlos Mendoza, David Davila and others that should have happened the first time around in 2006 except Daic threatened them and their families to force them not to show up. When the judge learned of this through Turrini after he came on, she immediately granted a Bill of Review to overturn the judgement.
Ever since the Bill of Review started, Daic's attorneys have been using stall tactics to delay the depositions. Calypso's attorneys have tried 3 times now to scedule the depositions. Each time Daic's attorneys have agreed on dates and then at the last minute they make up an excuse why they can't make it. What you've seen being filed lately are motions by Calypso to have a oral hearing now on these avoiding tactics by Daic's attorneys.
Here is an exerpt from the latest filing by Calypso's attorney from yesterday. They are scheduling a hearing with the judge to put a stop to this BS. Good bye Daic.....
CAUSE NO. 2007-22571
CALYPSO WIRELESS, INC. § IN THE JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT
§ Plaintiff §
vs. § OF HARRIS COUNTY, T E X A-S
§
DRAGO DAIC, §
§
Defendant. § 151ST JUDICIAL DISTRICT
RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO QUASH
PLAINTIFF'S THIRD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE ORAL DEPOSITIONS
Calypso Wireless and its counsel have made every attempt to accommodate Mr. Daic's counsel in scheduling depositions. It has become clear, however, that Mr. Daic's counsel are using scheduling objections as a pretext for avoiding depositions
Calypso Wireless has three times attempted to schedule the depositions of three key witnesses - Carlos Mendoza, David Davila, and Dr. Jorge Byron Alegria Castellon. These individuals do not reside in the United States and are not under the control of either party or their respective counsel. It is a difficult task to arrange for these individuals to travel to Houston to testify. Indeed, it is the failure of two of the witnesses to testify that resulted in the sanctions orders that led to the judgment in the underlying lawsuit, Case No. 2004-63048.
When the first trial date of August 28 was set, the undersigned counsel for Calypso Wireless asked one of Mr. Daic's attorneys, Ms Rusnak, as to their availability for depositions in July. It was apparent that depositions would need to be quickly scheduled in light of the fast-approaching agreed trial date. Ms Rusnak responded that depositions could be scheduled anytime in July – that if Mr. Williams could not cover them, she would. But when depositions were then scheduled for July 12 and 13, Mr. Daic's attorney immediately moved to quash them, citing Mr. Williamson's vacation letter. Depositions were rescheduled for August 8 and 9, whereupon Mr. Daic's attorneys again moved to quash, this time citing a trial setting in another case for the same week.
Calypso Wireless agreed to reschedule depositions after receiving the first two motions to quash. To avoid any misunderstanding on the third attempt, counsel was especially careful to confirm acceptable dates before noticing the depositions. After a number of conversations and emails, Ms Rusnak confirmed that she and Mr. Williamson were available for the period from September 5 to 12, and it was only then that depositions were noticed for September 5 and 7, 2007 (the 6th was avoided because counsel for both parties had a conflict on that date).' Now, in his Motion to Quash, Mr. Daic asserts that depositions should not be taken on the agreed dates because of certain alleged conflicts in his attorneys' schedules.
It is apparent that Mr. Daic or his attorneys do not want depositions to go forward. They have objected to every date noticed, even when agreed by them in advance, and they have never suggested alternate dates nor have they provided dates on which witnesses under their control can be deposed.
Billy, where do you get off saying management has no integrity or competance? You've NEVER even talked to or met any of the current management. Your only involvement with the company was a HUGE loss of $5k about 5 freaking years ago. Laughable. You didn't go to the SHM, you weren't even on the call and were asking me to fill you in. Are you kidding? Turrini is one of the most honest, up front individuals you'd ever meet and is extrememly competant as evidenced by basically taking a dead company and turning it around all by himself. They now have field trials going on and a first license being done. He volunteered to have an open SHM for all to see and ask questions. Where were you? You are obviously here only to try to dissuade investors and it shows. I canonot believe any serious investors would listen to you but I guess it takes all kinds.
Like I said, PR from Nokia will come out in due time. Won't matter anyway, it's already out and will be in the Calypso filings. When it does come out though, we'll probably see a spike in the sp.
LG had zero to do with it. Here's the story from the horses mouth. This is a material event for Calypso as defined by the SEC. The trial started a while ago and Calypso has been waiting on Nokia to get the PR out. Could not wait any longer, especially since they are close to submitting back financials which will likely mention Nokia anyway. So Calypso had to get the information out to the street. Nokia did not want a PR so Calypso put it out on their website and told Nokia they had to do so. Nokia's lawyers are sticklers and asked Calypso to at least take the word "Nokia" out of the release but they could use whatever other words they wanted to make it pretty obvious who it was. So they did. No harm no foul everybody's happy.
Eventually the PR will make it up Nokia's ladder and out the door.
This back n forth on Nokia field trial is hilarious. Yes it's real. Yes it has been going on for a while. Yes it's going well. Yes, they Nokia will eventually release a PR. Yes when it's done Nokia will take the tech to the carriers.
Call Calypso yourself and verify. I did. Not that hard to do, I guess if you really want to.
No, PRs could come out at any time. When they get the 1st license put to bed, they can announce it. If they do any other field trials or license, they can announce those too. I'd expect some big PRs this month.
Daic crapping his pants now that Judge Baker allowing video depositions & testimony. In fact, it was her idea. She said, given the history of this case she would make sure testimony was heard.
Put Billcon on ignore like I did. He's still on Mendoza time.
He is Daic's attorney. They submitted 22 pages of BS questions for Calypso to answer as another stall tactic, most all of them irrelevant to anything. Calypso has filed against it.
Daic has lost. Judge Baker is allowing video depositions from Mendoza and Davila instead of making them come to US. She knows what Daic's lawyers are up to. Daic's lawyers can no longer stall the depositions. It will never get to November court date. Depositions will be heard and Daic will beg for any settlement and for Calypso not to press criminal charges.
$100MM per year in revs = $80MM in earnings/130MM shares = 60c/sh X 20 p/e = $12 stock and that's only the ONE deal they already have in the bag. Get some while you can.
Nokia field trial & 1st license. It's going to be a hell of a ride to $10.
Meaningless Crap
Posted by some over and over
knowing their days are over
as Turrini has brought home the bacon
Calypso will be a $20 stock in no time
yes $20
You don't even know half of what they
have going on
the deals they are talking
They've already done their 1st license
that some said would never happen
it's a nine figure deal
that's a $15 stock all by itself
do the math
They have a field trial with a no-name company like Nokia
who supplies handsets to every major carrier in the world
and who says they will bring Calypso ASNAP to all their carriers
Even some longs don't yet realize how big this company will be
just sit back and enjoy the ride
They are asking for continuance so they can negotiate a settlement. Talks are under way. Daic's lawyers will never let it go to a jury b/c they have seen the written depositions through the discovery process. He will be lucky to get anything considering the criminal charges CLYW will bring after the jury throws out the previous order.
He we go. MMs buying it up. 21c now
