Looks like new MDCE news. This was posted on board about an hour or two ago.
"Anybody still up out there? The following Press Release was issued to the world's media at midnight tonight, eastern time.
BEIJING, CHINA – July 24, 2012 – Medical Care Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: MDCE), a growing American company providing children’s healthcare services and product distribution, has become the first Western corporation to be asked by the government of the PRC to open a private pediatric clinic in China.
“Our business model for children’s private healthcare services in China has been well received by officials and locals alike, and we were officially invited to apply for a license and to open our first health center in the city of Shenzhen,” said Ning Chung Wu, CEO of Medical Care Technologies Inc.
China’s burgeoning middle-class is estimated to be 300 million strong. With disposable incomes unheard of 25 years ago, they have been demanding comprehensive health care services for themselves and their children. Studies show that 80% of middle-class Chinese consumers are dissatisfied with the country’s public health care and are willing to spend up to 7 times more for private services. (American Business Journal, April, 2011)
The dynamic city of Shenzhen, in the southern province of Guangdong, is China’s first and most successful “Special Economic Zone”, and is regarded as one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It now encompasses an area of 790 sq. miles, larger than New York, London or Los Angeles. With a booming economy, Shenzhen has developed very rapidly into a vibrant commercial powerhouse fueled by the ambitions of its upwardly mobile, educated, entrepreneurial inhabitants. For many Chinese, Shenzhen represents China’s 21st century future (Business in Asia, March, 2012).
Shenzhen’s population of around 10 million includes over a million children. “We aim to become the leader in children’s private health and wellness centers in China by providing integrated services in a high quality, warm and caring environment”, said Medical Care Technologies Inc.’s CEO, Ning Chung Wu.
“Once license approval was granted, our consultants in Shenzhen moved to quickly select a centralized and eminent site for the clinic, close to the 2011 Universiade location, in an area of this thriving city which teems with young, urban professional families”, added Luis Kuo, the company’s Chief Operating Officer. “Zoning approvals from the city government have also been granted – another major milestone – and renovations can begin immediately.”
The company estimates that the Shenzhen clinic should be open to the public before the end of this year.
Medical Care Technologies Inc. already had a license to open a children’s clinic in the smaller Guangdong city of Dongguan.
“Dongguan was like a silver at the Olympics, but Shenzhen is the gold!” commented Peter Verner, Senior Communications Advisor for Medical Care Technologies Inc.
A clinic is still planned for opening in Dongguan in the near future and negotiations are currently underway for children’s health care centers across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tianjin."
Oh yes I'm here!
Well said!
UCHC
You got that right.
Seeings how the news is down, here's a recent one on APT paper.

Ive noticed that issue on a few other stocks I watch too here at IHUB yesturday. MDCE isnt the only one.
Same here. What might be intresting is how, why and when corn-based fertilzers are or could be used specifically in China(Mainland).
Looking into this, seems corn-based fertilizers also have the added benefit of natural weed control from web searches Ive made. Depends when applied though, can also surpress the crop your trying to grow if applied before germination so looks like application after crop germinates is kinda a rule if I read correctly.
Also looks like corn based fertilizers more of a choice for grassy types of things(wheat, rice, barley?)and pastures grasses. Again, just beginning to check this out.
I wonder if UCHC is breaking the mold over there, like "instead of poop in the paddy you can use our stuff" for want of better words.
UCHC and their products certainly deserves more research IMO.
Seems your on track bud.
Corn Crop Estimates shrinking " by the hour "
http://crooksandliars.com/susie-madrak/corn-crop-estimates-shrinking-hour
What interests me is the fact that China is a large producer of corn also yet imports much from U.S. historically. So...
Seems possible, I hear our corn crop is going to suffer.
I'm following ya but for my own reasons. Been sitting back for months and watching plus holding.
For what its worth.

Ahh, new PR out.
Have to agree with you bud. While understanding short info is extremely important it shouldn't of been stickied .
Got to thank flatfoot for the valuable info though.
I think the press release is quite telling and has value. Had no idea China was a leading producer of Corn and Wheat worldwide, assumed it was mainly Rice.

I'd have to disagree with you. We are all playing "The Great Game" IMO, like a game there's winners and loosers typically. As far as speculating, I suspect some of us are doing just that IMO.
RIGH
Think I'm still missing some data. Was there an outcome in a court that confirms this, or is this a " he said, she said" kinda thing?
Wow, thats what.. a year and some months old?
So, who's buying the sold shares?
Well, it appears someone bought them too.
It is a pain!
Yes, deader than a doorknob

Isn't that an indication of a settlement of some sort? Thought I read there was no OTC/pink trading after hours except to "settle" whatever that means.
They are here.
Right on Turbo, still hanging out watching an holding.
Right on man, been watching from sidelines too.
