paulmk, doesn't seem like SEC violation to give that info here.
I could be way off base here, but to somebody that doesn't know the SEC rules (ME), seems he disclosed himself and capacity in company.
Law enforcement may not like it, but shouldn't be an SEC violation.
Maybe somebody that is more familar with the regs will comment.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
paulmk, an investigation must happen first.
Don't think nothing is happening, IMO the legal system is slow at times, procedures must be followed. It is possible to have a security tape faked, so they must be sure. I am in NO WAY suggesting that the SEVU tape is faked, just that the LAW always moves slow and cautious, which is good for the innocent.
I too want this crazy person stopped, how could any person in today's high-tech society be that careless.
This is WAY beyond heavy stuff. I am mad and concerned, about the last incident and now this, for Rich and the company's safety.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Still nice to hear from dk76.
Thanks again, I definitely appreciate your "level headed" posts and assesment of the situation.
I did not mean to pick on anybody or degrade this forum by complaining in my earlier post. This is a wonderful place to get good information and opinions, unlike RB.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
dk76, your back?!?!
Nice to see some reality on the board. Great post.
It is a shame to see "normal" posters start to look like shorts as they pick apart information, it sure looks like RB at times!! But thankfully those threads do not degrade to the level of RB.
There are still questions to be answered, but dates have been made to hopefully answer some of them. We all need to chill just a little and let the Open House answer some of these questions.
IMO the info on the multi-system was great. The wording is fine, it is great they want to keep us informed on their future PLANS (not commitments). They are PLANS not wrote in stone, easy enough to get from the post.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
The color is separate from the IR part.
I think that is correct, it has been six months since Rich talked about that. I agree the IR part can not see color, but I am pretty sure they are going to use the marine color camera.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Thanks FG, last I remembered there were about 12.5 million shares out. I knew you weren't making it up, just wanted to know what the total was now.
You da'man!!!
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Francois+Goelo...Where did you find out that Rich doesn't control more than 50% of SEVU?
I was under the impression from Rich that he controlled more than 50%, so what changed that I missed.
I also agree with others here that there would not be enough votes to remove him from CEO.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I thought only federal crimes needed to be disclosed.
Not sure how the legal system works anyway, just curious. I don't mean to ask stupid questions, but I thought Rich said he had cleared this through is lawyer already.
I definetely don't know the rules about this!!!
I think SHAMUS hits a home run with that post.
I too stated on RB that I am riding the fence until one side or the other comes up with some concrete evidence.
The PR's are an obvious problem, but a crime?!?! IMO and as Rich has stated, SEVU was giving more information than necessary to keep people informed. Most people here would not believe how much SEVU gets hounded for information. In the process of trying to let people know where the company was headed, people took the PREDICTIONS as gospel instead of forecasts. This is a shame and Rich will not let it happen again.
I am not in agreement with the felony issue. I have looked at the documents and everybody's hype, but I don't see a felony that he would have had to disclose. Even if that was the case, SEVU is still for real (I have seen with my own eyes and touched with my own hands).
dk76, sorry to see you go...
but you are right. i visited raging bull for awhile, wow, what a waste of time. now this is doing the same thing, kinda sad.
here is an email i just got, maybe we can use this to find out our own "truth":

I also got the email.
It had everybody listed, but I don't see what that says in the whole scheme of things. This is not making me sell my shares, oh well I don't understand half of the comments on here anyway.
But LaShark is correct in alot of names were in that email.
Searobin...great post, I agree, everyone please read.
From previous post:
Great!
If Rich McBride had the education of an M.D., then he would most likely BE an M.D. This really is a non-issue of his education, except for the fact that some posters here, including our beloved chairman, have attested to this allegation.
All this does if feed the flames. I feel that is important to keep the facts straight, and to deny any bashers with more ammo.
Obviously, Mr. McBride is a smart fellow, with an inventive mind, and plenty of enthusiasm. Perhaps too many comments without disclaimers as to the forward-looking statements that have come out in the press releases have hurt us here. I hope that we can stick to the FACTS, and let this company get their products to the marketplace. Share price will follow. For the curious, I am LONG here, and have been an investor for over a year. I hold restricted shares from debentures, as well as stock bought on the open market. I had hoped to see this company in a better position at this point, but will bide my time.
Yes, I will attend the open house, and yes, I will join a lawsuit to punish illegal trading activities.
I read this board, and see mostly bickering and hype. If we let the company mature without interference, we will all be better off.
Searobin
Yes, Rich has the education of a Medical Doctor.
He personally told me this the last time I was in Terre Verde.
FanClubBoy...have to respond to A@P Rules sometimes
I just can't help myself, it is so easy to point out the obvious. Sorry for the personal attack, it was more in jest because A@P Rules was posting fowl language on the board while FG wasn't looking. I had to comment because those awful posts calling FG a little **** were too much.
Sorry again, I shouldn't go down to that level.
BTW...SEVU looked strong today, but with reduced PR's, we may not see $10 for awhile, oh well, waiting for $100 anyway!!!
I won't request special information because we all have to wait until a PR is out or info comes up on the website. Because of the chance of "inside" information coming out, I think it is everybody's best interests to be patient, Rich probably won't respond with delicate company info anyway!
20 MHz Oscillator....Found ONE!! I think
Not sure how old this is, but I found an alternative to the Motorola MC12148...here is a copy of the page I found, I haven't called the company.
SaRonix Introduces Miniature
Surface Mount Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator
Menlo Park, California -- SaRonix, a worldwide manufacturer of electronic components, is releasing its latest ST1307/1507 and ST1317 /1517 series Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXOs). Measuring in at just 5 x 7 x 1.8mm these ceramic packaged surface mount oscillators are available over a wide range of frequencies and specifications.
Their low profile and small footprint makes these new oscillators ideal for use in the high-density circuit designs dictated by the ongoing miniaturization of portable electronic equipment used in PCMIA cards, palmtop computers, cell phones and LAN/WAN data communication adapters, etc.
“The biggest challenge in designing the Series was to maintain the same functionality and performance, but in a package with a much smaller volume.” explains SaRonix’s Beat Kocher. “These oscillators are perfect for use in telecom, wireless, and phase-locked loop applications where space conservation, low power consumption, and high-performance are a priority.”
The two series provide a rugged, stable reference source for frequencies ranging from 1 to 31.999 MHz for the S1307/1507 and 32 to 125 MHz for the ST1317/1517 Series. Rated stability is ±50 ppm over all conditions including shock, vibration, and changes in supply voltage, load, and operating temperatures.
SaRonix designed the ST1307/1507 Series with an eye toward keeping noise as low as possible. Phase noise readings of -95dBc/Hz at 100 Hz; -110dBc/Hz at 1 kHz; and -100dBc/Hz at 10 kHz are exceptional for oscillators of this small size and low cost.
The output is compatible with current HCMOS and TTL logic families, and comes equipped with an industry standard Tri-State output feature.
The recommended supply voltages are 3.3V ±10% and 5V ±5% with supply currents ranging from 15 to 65mA max, depending on frequency range.
Designed to conform to most automated assembly environments, these leadless, ceramic, surface mount oscillators are equipped with six gold plated contact pads and shipped in 16mm tape with 500 pieces per reel.
SaRonix is an ISO9001/ISO9002 certified manufacturer that supports its worldwide customer base with engineering, sales and manufacturing facilities in the US, Europe and Asia. For more information please call SaRonix at phone 650-470-7700 or fax 650-462-9894.
MC12148 Motorola chip...
I have found it to be IN STOCK from TWO different websites that I was able to find in under 15 minutes.
I am afraid your information is looking to be less and less reliable, I would suggest that you give this up before we buy 10,000 of these and have them delivered up your ***.

cabos_tacos, i am worried and upset just like the rest of the people here.
Don't take that one post too far out of context, most of my other posts are optimistic about the company, but are still a little unhappy about recent events.
I want a public statement out of SEVU as much as the rest of us and I am very worried that if it doesn't happen real soon, the stock will be down for a long time.
I guess just reading that one post of the many I have written does sound a little crazy, but I believe it to be true. Rich is not the sole 100% cash supply for this company, it must survive to some extent on its own, but also be sure he will keep it going if needed.
We can't say info from K-byte is wrong, but certainly not reliable.
Since the info is not public, we can't say it is right or wrong.
But as I said earlier, THERE IS NO WAY MONEY IS AN ISSUE FROM RICH
First run of 10,000 units...$800,000, that is chump change.
Rich has 10 times that in toys around the island, everybody should stop worrying about the money issue, if the company needs more, it has it.
Absolutely, Seahag...money is not the problem.
Be sure of one thing...Rich has the money to cover getting this off the ground, but this is not just his personal playground to spend his personal money.
I agree also, CamFan.
I am one of those 'posters' that have seen the headquarters, seen the products in action and talked with people at the company.
Some people just have an optimistic outlook and others pessimistic view.
Your idea that SEVU is manned by the atypical professional really hits the nail on the head, this is not a coat and tie company, YET!!!
bulldop01Toror, I hear yah...
Absolutely and AMEN!!!
A&P should be in court answering questions and backing up their report with facts.
Merry Christmas, things will get better for SEVU.
Don't let the recent turn of events let us forget what the Christmas season is all about...CHRIST
cabos_tacos, pretty strong words, hope they don't turn and bite you someday. be careful on putting threats and bold statements of unlawful activities in writing for all to see.
we all don't like the current state of SEVU, but don't make statements where you don't know the facts, just a word of caution. and by the way, I am mad about the way 2000 turned out also, but I also don't jump to conclusions.
Report at www.insidetruth.com
Very interesting RB post that I missed. Thanks for the info. Here it is again:
Interesting RB post in case anyone missed it.

The simple truth is that shorts always attack when the momentum has played out of small cap's price spike. Two recent examples in my portfolio are XYBR & CHCS. XYBR gets hammered by Bloombergs *every* time positive news comes out. XYBR *got* its Naz listing, yet Bloombergs hammered them and they didn't enjoy any appreciation. (Hope that makes SEVU owners feel better about the listing). This has happened the last three times XYBR has good news, Bloombergs trots out some blather.
Another is CHCS. They had shot from $8 to $40, a poster came on Yahoo to question accounting practices for the first time & not long after that The Street ran an article questioning the companies Same Store Sales calculations on the basis of statements made by the authors short friends (yes, he actually admitted that his source was friends of his who were short). That company dived into the $20s and hasn't completely recovered.
Point being, these guys, scum they may be, are just part of the landscape. They aren't looking for companies which are dishonest or attempting to provide a service. They target a company which has some momentum but the sales are still a year or two away. I suspect they also look for companies with a large retail investor base which they can stampede.
They wait until a run up's momentum plays out and then get some scum, sometimes even with credible organizations, to float deceptive rumors and half truths. The three times I've seen it in my portfolio, it always works.
Be grateful that Sevu's antagonist is so obviously not credible compared to the two sources who attacked XYBR & CHCS.
Easy acquisition target? Did I just hear a hammer hitting the nail on the head? Maybe, maybe not...not loud enough yet!!!
OK, one example. Direct Media TV Productions, Inc.
This is the previous business Rich was involved in before SEVU.
He has been involved with media all the way back to owning part of a newspaper when he got out of high school.
Not sure this helps much, but this is all you get tonight...I am getting sleepy!!!
I don't want to argue, but guarantee that we won't see any major manufacturing or major contracts is way out of line. I am not sure where YOU get YOUR information, but I am sure you are wrong.
I bet you are trying to play the game of helping drive the stock price down so you can buy low and sell high next year!!!!
Saying the company lied is a bit much. The PR's were trying to help us by giving as much information as possible. Now that some difficulties(which happen to every company) have come up, everybody becomes a back stabber.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I am not happy with the recent turn of events either. But to say the company lied is a whole different story. I know Rich and I am sure that was never his intention. He has learned his lesson about dealing with the investment public.
OK, the next time I see Rich(hopefully in a few weeks), I will pass this along. Although I won't poke him in the chest!!! I am sure he is already aware of this, since this is his first publically traded company, there have been some growing pains. Some leasons are learned the hard way, but the company is the better for it.
Most of the problem as I see it comes from production delays. It is a shame that earlier this year announcements came out with aggresive schedules, which weren't met. With the new COO, Rich will have one of the missing links shored up in the management structure.
The company grew slow this year because management grew slowly, or at least slower than anticipated. The company is fine, too many people are not being patient.
Amen, dk76. Perfectly stated. This deserves repeating.
All good questions Bagus.
I haven't taken the time to research the history of the new COO, but the PR introduction said he had something like 25 years operational experience with JCP. If that's the case, I'm assuming he has considerable experience with execution, vendor management, etc., and done so with a publicly traded (aka scrutinized) company. From my experience, that is exactly what SEVU has been lacking. I have an Ops background, with much less than 25 years. I'm not going to claim that execution is "easy", but considering the number of products and quantity of component parts (regardless of how many/if any may be proprietary), production shouldn't be a problem. Procurement and production don't appear to be McBride's area of expertise. That's not a criticism; just an observation. Even if he does possess the skills to produce en masse, doing so may take him away from future product development, which isn't in our best interest. IMO, creating a product is MUCH more difficult than producing and shipping it. I'm hoping the COO will relieve Rich of those responsibilities, and bring a degree of expertise to the table.
The red flag I see with the most recent numbers reflects product demand, and an inability to deliver. Again, the COO should be the answer.
As for whether the new COO has an operations background, again, I don't recall the PR or his other qualifications, but I'm assuming that a COO would have operational experience. I sure hope so anyway.
Does the company have the resources to finance production? McBride claims they do. I watch his public communications pretty closely. He can be vague, but I really don't think he's deceitful. He has said that all production, etc. is adequately internally funded, and not dependent upon stock values or otherwise. Unless someone can prove otherwise, I believe him.
I am sure the company has the resources to produce in quantity. This delay is not ineptitude(sp?), but prudence. All the PR's don't tell the story, Rich has a proven track record of success which will continue in 2001.
I don't hold my breath that the new COO will help delivery, nothing moves in this company without the CEO being closely involved.
Well I was not happy about the announcement either and I agree with their being difficulties in maintaining the AMEX requirements.
On the other hand, the future is the same for this company. A lot of things forecasted for 2000 will hit in 2001, at least I am banking on that!!
I am not sure what fundamentals you are looking at, but nothing but slight corrections are being made to make this a success. Everybody has an opinion and only time will tell.
I promise you that Rich is a sharp cookie. This is nowhere near his first business venture. Even though the time-table has been delayed, he will make it happen.
srsnetworker, you hit the nail on the head. Things may not be working out this year, but that just means the time-table has shifted to next year. I wish all of you could spend some time down at Seaview and with Rich, because then you would understand that this company will succeed in the long term.
I am new to this board and don't know any more information than anybody else, but those people giving up on SEVU will have to watch as the rest of us laugh our ways to the bank.
I am sure Rich is/will always do what is in the best interests of the company, in the long term. We are all disappointed with some of the recent news, but the long term still looks great.
