Yep, the site looks really nice, just what you would expect from a real company, not like before. Not the best I've ever seen but definitely professional and more than enough for now. Only two things look kind of bad on it, one is the picture of the unit, they could have gone with a CG rendering of the final product, and the other is... the chart on the investors page. We're getting hammered.
Really wish they would tell us something, anything, about what is going on, what they are working on and what the plans are from here. Assuming there are any plans...
On 0 volume it could trade at $10, it would mean exactly nothing. Ppl who wanted out already sold, nobody has a reason to rush in for now, so we'll just stay here on no volume until they finally do something... Website, manufacturer, numbers etc.
Beer, I don't know what to say anymore... I thought they specifically said that would happen, at the meeting... Did he say what they are actually doing, or how long? Either way this isn't where I thought we'd be by now.
Yeah, true... and on top of that, once production starts sales follow pretty soon after, maybe a couple of months or less. But Robert said revenues by the end of 2012 and even that he wasn't 100% committal on. If all they have to do is replace some plastic piping and put everything together it would be done sooner than second half of 2012. Still two months left in 2011. So we're probably looking at more delays. I hope not but...
NOW THIS WAS FLUFF from WDRP.
The AMF might call the quote False and Misleading in an effort to sell shares.

WRONG. Fluff is a subjective term, only fluff in your opinion. Direct information from the company or partners does constitute proof, just like seeing the unit. All you have to do is call, ask and go to the meeting, basically actually do some DD.

All the links and proof have been provided on this board, please find them. And there is a lot of communication between the longs.

WRONG. There is no proof anything was fabricated. Dave, Gavin, Design1st and UL are all excited about the results.

Everyone at the meeting was shown charts of delta temperature, the product heating water. It is proven. And now is a great time for the company to buy back stock, very cheap and product about to be released.
I completely agree. It isn't obvious it's a scam and i'm still a believer. Still have 80% of the shares I used to. And yeah they should have waited longer and have a proper launch. Or warn investors that things will not be ready and everyone would have said ok take another 2-3 weeks and get it ready.
What I was saying in the first comment is without a proven product the AMF comments mean nothing. If they are proven true then the company was going down anyway. If they are proven false it still won't help us much, maybe a tiny spike. Conversely, with a proven product, again those allegations are of little importance, if proven false the company was going up anyway and if true just one contractor having a slightly shady past won't hold back a great product. And chances are if the product is real and revolutionary nothing major will be found on the company anyway.
Seriously guys, the whole AMF thing is so insignificant compared to the fact we still don't have a working product, at least nothing proven. The wording in that AMF document is so vague and non-committal and so little to do with the actual company that in the grand scheme of things it is a very minor setback. The fact they've promised so much and delivered so little is of far more concern. For a company where everything was perfect, yeah that accusation might be seen as something to worry about, but for us... Once we have a product, website, figures, maybe production, yeah lets worry about that but till then the company is probably right to ignore it.
Maybe fiasco is a bit of a strong word but not far off. They should have said hey, we really want to have this meeting because we promised but we either have it now and you see some half-baked product or you wait another 2 weeks or a month and see the real deal. If they could not have the real thing even in a month then some apologies are in order for having promised it and some explanations as to why they are behind. So I'd say the company and product are probably ok but the meeting was not what it should have been.
Yep, completely agree. Problem isn't with their progress, although it is very slow, problem is with the fact they won't admit this will take forever and instead keep pumping it and promising things they don't deliver. Fingers crossed that the hard parts are done and whatever touch ups are needed are fast. That's far from a sure thing right now though. And they better not even think about dilution without a properly finished product with efficiency numbers. Anything less everyone will hit the road.
I just buy high and sell low... That's my strategy. From now on I'm not selling anything under at least 10c... As soon as I do it bounces back. Just wait for it, buy anything under 2 and hope for the best. Still green overall on WDRP, not lost money so far but just barely and at some point was making tons and tons...
This unit is real, the other was a computer simulation. Easier to make things look good on a computer. The final one will look as good or better than the rendering. And if the numbers are there the look won't matter that much and it may get better looking later when they have more money.
Oh yeah I forgot the company is directly associated with every crook in Canada and some in the US. My bad, must have been the lack of any kind of evidence...
Really, if they wanted to make it look like they had something real on their hands when they didn't, we all agree they could have easily done a far far better job of it. And the theory that looking incompetent somehow helps their scam, I'm still not sure how that works. They could have easily made themselves and the product look much better and then let the whole thing fall through (after selling some of those 400 mil shares or diluting into momentum) saying they could not get it to be efficient enough, or there was no market for it or something.
I'm with u, holding too. Wish I had the guts to buy more at these prices but I already have too much. At the end of the day the only thing that will crash this is if they dilute without showing a finished fully functional unit first. If that happens watch out below. But if they have a finished, competitive product on their hands and need some money to get it into production and distribution then things may not be too bad. Even though it will be a long wait till we see meaningful profits. Up to here I am thinking small team and budget working part time, not scam. If it was a scam we would have seen much more dilution until now and he would not have pushed his restriction back to march. Plus if they were focused on something that LOOKED good they could have easily spent their time (and they had lots of it, years) putting some nice metal pipes and random electrical components in that box and come up with a website, not hard to do. The fact their pants were so far down for this meeting doesn't scream scam, just incompetence or lack of motivation...
For once you make a good point... That's what I was thinking. That one comment that he's doing this part time and refuses to give it more time... Especially considering the potential gain for him... Not good news.
There's not much to ask. Everyone can read what their PRs said over the years, all the hype, and the fact is they had a box that didn't look that great, with plastic pipes, missing components, no cord, no patents, no manufacturer, no certification, no efficiency numbers, no website, no PR etc. And by their own admission it needs more work before it can be on the home depot shelf. None of these issues will be solved if i call them. There's a very simple and very deep disconnect between what they promised and what they delivered, at least so far.
I'm a long too, I defended the company for a very long time, even got banned over it, I still don't think it's a scam but facts are facts... It is possible the patents are there, the unit only needs minor work before it is ready, all the heavy lifting is done, it is possible they have internal efficiency estimates and they look great, it is possible they are in advanced talks with manufacturers and distributors, all that is possible but none of it, none at all, is proven. Don't see how a call will fix that.
On one hand I agree with all that and it's what I've been saying for a long time, small team, small budget, part time, complex product, etc means it will take a long time and everyone should be prepared to wait. I am.
But on the other hand, they maintain that this is an almost finished product, close to being unveiled, a preproduction unit. They are building this huge hype around it always saying it's almost ready. If they instead said hey relax, we are going very slow, we'll need many more months, we're in no rush, everyone would be either happy to wait or gone. They said themselves they don't care about the pps, whenever it actually is almost finished and they need money for marketing and production, then pump it up, have an actual real unveil of a working unit and then dilute as much as you need to hit the ground running. Those who get in at that point don't have to go through all this wait, instant gratification, those who have been holding all along can get in at much better prices and on the dips, the company isn't pestered by the investors like they are now, they have a good reputation once the product is ready and they can use that to dilute and launch. Everyone is happy. Now nobody is happy, the longs are bored of waiting and tired of broken promises, the company says we are too negative and not patient, traders looking for a quick take-off never get it and so on... There is one category that is happy in all this but we'll leave them out.
And to draw a parallel to cars, even though it applies to most products, a preproduction car is almost fully functional and has 90% or more of the performance, features, looks, fit and finish etc of the final thing. There are always some rough edges here and there but for the most part you can get an excellent idea of what the finished product will be like. That's not the case here... Which is why everyone is complaining.
Yeah, I don't think it is an actual scam, at least not yet. But it is starting to LOOK a little that way. Either that or they are pretty incompetent... One way or another many of their PRs and statements could technically be called false so... Hopefully the heater gets finished soon and we have some numbers on it. Even if the rest takes longer after that whatever... It is possible the stuff that needs to be done is very easy and will be fast, some metal pipes, a casing and a cord and bam. And once the product is actually ready (not like now) we should be fine from a pps point of view.
On one hand this meeting made them look bad but on the other it seems like they really believe in the product so maybe this will be ok... Too late to sell now anyway.
I am sorry, I did not mean to offend you in any way. When I said you may have a good reason not to give details I did not mean things went bad, I just meant maybe there is some knowledge people who were there have that can help them, whether it is good, for buying, or bad, for selling. You did spend all the time and money to go so I have no problem with that, it is only fair. That is what I meant. And like I said, since we can't each individually talk to the company for 3 hours on the phone it would be helpful if those who went just gave an account of what was said, like the other posters have. nobody would take it as FACT but since other people were there too, statistically it is likely to be true and it would be helpful and appreciated by all the longs. As for the negative posters, they will be negative no matter what so why worry about that. Again, I did not in any way mean to imply anything negative, sorry.
To be honest if you want to help the company and are a long any comments and impressions from you can only help, it would be hard right now to make them look any worse than they already do and it's partly the lack of any details that hurts. And no comments on this board will ever be seen like the official position of the company, or putting words in their mouth. But I do respect your choice not to share, maybe I wouldn't have either, depending on what was said.
The problem isn't necessarily that so little has happened in all this time. They are a tiny team with a tiny budget, not a lot of experience and apparently not even working on this full time. And it's a reasonably complicated product, not just a mouse trap... So it's ok that it's taking forever. The problem is that so much was promised and so little delivered. They said the product was ready months and months, if not years ago, repeatedly. Now they are saying we were kidding, we have nothing, no product, no manufacturer and let's see how this goes.
So a PR should have the reasons for the delays and the plans for the future with time estimates, as risky as that is. Otherwise this really is starting to look like a scam, or at least like they couldn't care less about investors. If they plan to dilute they'll get nothing right now, the price will tank to 0.0001... Even if they didn't plan to issue shares they should still give us more, but since apparently they do, we deserve to be treated far far better than this... No info in months and people made to drive to a "soft unveiling" only to be shown a box with some parts in it... Nobody will buy their shares.
Yes, seriously, we need a PR. It has been many months since they gave us any info at all on progress. And especially with this weird meeting where nothing was really released, we need to know what is going on and how much longer we need to wait. Anything else would prove the negative people right.
Thank you for attending and posting. But we can't all be on the phone with the company for 3 hours straight. And we will not get to look them in the eye or see the actual product in the flesh. So a summary of what was said would be appreciated by everyone here. Good or bad, doesn't matter... Nobody will hold anyone responsible (and if they do just ignore them) and any little piece of info helps. Maybe other posters forgot some details...
Maybe they are making strides, i hope they are, but everyone agrees that it doesn't look that way. They really should come up with a PR with facts, what they still have to do, how long they expect it to take (risky one there but at this point...) what the plans are for manufacturing, what kind of voltage they'll need, maybe the price of a unit, maybe the graphs with nothing blanked out, what type and size of dilution they expect, all these things and more. They are keeping us in the dark completely. Even this meet and greet which was supposed to be great so far did not really shed much light on things. Pretty much all we know is that they are much further behind than we thought. Yes, some posters will rip into anything they say in a PR but at this point we need one, a long one with some explaining...
I guess as far as revenues go we are definitely farther along then we thought. But maybe if the product is ready (and I mean really ready, not WDRP ready) soon the pps will come back. With a manufacturer agreement it would definitely go over what it was before even if official numbers aren't out and no UL certification and no sales yet... And the product itself could theoretically be ready soon if they really do have all the parts and they really do want to get this done. BIG if there though...
The problem is a box with some pipes and electronics in it is not really proof of anything. It will not change anyone's mind in any direction at all, not to sell, not to buy. Proof is a working unit, a UL certificate, third party efficiency numbers, at least a patent, maybe a manufacturer saying they are about to start producing tons of them... something like that. Even if the unit in the presentation was not functional they could at least show the results they got with the latest prototype. At some point they had some graphs of things heating up, show that with a scale. When you call a meeting like this people expect more than we were given today, at least as far as we know, which isn't much.
It is very true that the people who attended most likely either want to sell or buy tomorrow, before they tell us what's what. on one hand not very nice but on the other it's their right, any of us could have attended, like they did.
I am a 100% long and have a ton of shares so I don't want to be negative but... I expected this to be different.
I really wish the people who attended would give us more info or the company came up with a PR. Otherwise what was the point of this thing, just to tell us it is still not ready? We don't even have a clue when it will be ready... they could have PRd that just like they did before, no need to go there.
Maybe if I would have been there or if we heard more about what was said I would be really excited, maybe they showed a lot of contracts, etc, maybe some efficiency estimates. But from the very little we already heard it doesn't sound great. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will be done at some point, and maybe it will be a great product, but if they were close to being finished they would have finished it by now. We're looking at more waiting and with WDRP that could be a long time... Too bad I bought a bunch...
Any rough time estimates? Days, weeks, months? Is there still R&D to be done and can the design change or is it just a matter of final assembly? If he had the part for a week it can't be something very basic that needs to be done or he would have done it... What else did you talk about, do they have any internal efficiency estimates? Thanks.
Has it been more than 3 hours? That is one long meeting... There has to be a reason we had no updates at all, can't be just coincidence...
Lol maybe. But if they wanted to stay on that side of the border and had nothing good why call the meeting in the first place?
Maybe they plan to release a PR after the meeting and asked everyone to not release anything before. And amazingly they all listened...
Seriously, what happened over there, did the device explode and take everyone out? No PR, no updates...
Still, it's a little weird nobody is giving us any updates...
The app is a nice extra for sure and will help the image of the product but not really enough on its own to make or break anything. And hopefully it won't bring the price up.
Still, it's weird, I don't see a clear trend to dump or buy a lot. My guess is ppl walked in, saw the unit was not hooked up to a demo stand and sold a bunch. But then the information they were given must have been good, since not that much selling after. But without a demo not much buying. Of course, just speculation.
Also, was that app post for real??
