and if the storm takes out your structure along with his lambo, does he sue you? you know what they say about no good deed goes unpunished.
agree. although the big boys got caught, in spite of all that legal overhead, and had to share. that's karma(or my version of it)
I agree. we were left with those markers for a purpose.
there has to be some guidance from somewhere. who's gonna buy into a company with no plan going forward. from the looks of things here, shaking loose shares from this group is going to prove futile...for the most part. I think anyone who has waited this long and develops weak hands, for whatever reason, will end up regretting doing so in the long run. 206 million shares is a manageable count with no business. I think before any kind of r/s, they'd have to release some of the billions of shares they have in their treasury.jmo
bobviously
if memory serves me that's about 8cents less than MW paid per share to guarantee standing for himself and us...after the bk filing...$200,000.00 at the time
I think it's 75/25
would we be the piper(s)?
yup...what's a little more time, with leverage.
that's funny, cause in the end it won't matter
here is a little inside info on Willingham from the Pilgrims Pride legal filings.
15. Also on December 15, 2009, Willingham, using “hammr6” -- the same user name that he
employed in Mirant -- added the following posting to the PPC Yahoo chatroom:
I have never posted on this board before. I resolved to give up message boards after the
last bankruptcy situation I was involved in. However, since I know so many people
affected by Pilgrim’s bankruptcy, I thought I would provide you with some simple
advice that will serve you well in the coming months. I recommend you diligently
attempt to pursue the formation of a shareholder’s committee that can represent your
interests in the bankruptcy proceedings. . . [Y]ou will not receive any value generated
absent excellent representation in the bankruptcy . . . .
I know you don’t know me from Adam, but I am willing to assist anyone in understanding what is about to transpire, as well as hel p you understand who I am and
what kind of situation you are facing.
this guy plopped down 200 grand post bk to be actively involved here, to our benefit...we are still here. irrefutable.
thank you Mike Willingham.
have you offered to contractually sell your escrow markers to anyone? since you don't expect any return of value to those markers, wouldn't it be rewarding to be able to garner some return for them?...better than just watching them disappear someday with no value.
except on the Nasdaq a company with no business and 206 million shares o/s, while not necessarily attractive, is certainly more attractive than one with over 3.5 billion. how would you stay listed?...still no m/a and no business.
ain't no changin' it now. guess we'll just have to wait and see, and i'm absolutely good with that. oh, and nice emojis..cute.
I hope so...we DO have the markers and we(wmih) have those apparently useless, and surely worthless shares.
I think it was pilgrims pride...not sure.
really, where are they going. if you know for sure and you act like you do, where they are not going, you should then know where they are going. they are there for a reason. here in the real world I call that common sense.
as I've suggested before, a company with no stated business plan, and 206 million shares already in play, has to have some plan for those extra 3.5 billion shares not yet in play. don't they need to be released to be in play? when we get those shares for our markers, then maybe a r/s, but not before. just because they said reverse split as an option did not make it imminent. we're the dilution.jmo
i agree
not that i know of
every day longer is one day closer
the one that was scheduled for 2:00 today that has been cancelled
oh, okay thanks.
Is anyone going to the hearing today?
yeah, the reason we are all here is the rule of law. what he/she is saying is speculative opinion...like everyone elses. so no, nobody got their money's worth, free or not.
so I can expect more than the 3x roi I've already received for my H's going forward? cool...and they made a deal to include us OR defend their actions in court.
don't know if it means anything or not, but my KKR position is 8% in profit...highest since I bought in to them(kkr) after they bought in to us(wmih). i'm thinkin' it does(mean something). no idea what, but it's good.imo
dung...don't sound so good
I don't think the court hearing for wmi (estate) will say anything about wmih (newco). jmo
Happy New Year people, one and all.
that's actually pretty funny rockie...and at midnight all our trading accounts' escrow markers are gonna turn green...like three triple bars on a slot machine.
wow, 100 shares. I thought the spread at close was tighter.
what's a PUBIC victory?...sounds kind of personal...lol
strange how TDA shows wmih as closing Friday at .80 instead of over .84. usually ah trades aren't reflected on the summary page the next day (business day or not, I've watched). probably nothing.
bobviously
right, and the judge evidently saw some of that as well and took his direction...further she allowed testimony from Nate Thoma and others that resulted in finding by her of colorable claims that forced the settlement, yet to be colored.
I actually suggested at he 2016 shareholder meeting that wmih should be the first canna bank, because when that industry can finally safely, and legally bank their financial gains it will be huge.jmo
nope, don't really care. i'm only buying.
still, no equity committee...no us, here. also, she fully recognized just how public this particular bk became. and don't forget(although I have) the guy from the ots? that recommended the ec. now, if she had've said no, no equity committee, i'd agree with you. but then we would not be here. she's not on our team, she's not supposed to be, but she's absolutely the reason we're still here.
yup, no doubt. and the H's still more than tripled their ROI, in spite of being forced to make a deal that included US.
