Banker must have got his powder - just saw 2 1mil buys go through at the ask...

There certainly is a lot more to closing an acquisition than funding...and yes he did say the "funding" was in the bank to close whatever acquisition he may of had in mind. Like I said, no need to hide the name if CAR was the intended one all along since it was already announced.
Makamai
The only thing that makes sense to me, is that Dean had another acquisition in mind to close today, and had C.A.R. as a backup plan. If CAR was his original choice, there would have been no reason not to announce the name initially since it was a known entity. At least we have 1 acquisition totally closed and under the QASP conglomerate. There are many more to follow - with Mineseeker close at hand. Just very frustrating for all do to the amount of time all this has taken and where the present SP is.
Makamai
He didn't say it would be released during market hours, he said afternoon after the conference.
Makamai
Closed at a penny so ready for lift off tomorrow.
The DJI is forming one heck of a hammer candle at this point, down now only about 325 points.
Makamia
It would be best IMO if Dean is unable to issue the NR prior to market close, that he waits till pre market tomorrow. Otherwise the news won't show up on investor's trading platforms tomorrow since it will be "old news" and we've already experienced problems with Marketwire news releases not getting properly distributed. That would just compound the lack of dissemination. Just my thoughts
Makamai
Day traders are either making a killing or loosing their okole's. Guess word is out that Dean is about to release a for real NR and they are pulling out some cash to jump on the band wagon (lol)
Makamai
Dooley - "adding comments has been disabled for this video" I guess they must have had an NDA on what launch it was - sounds kind of familiar
Makamai
Banker - since Dean has a service background, spare parts as used in military jargon means new. You would never stock used parts when maintaining military readiness and keeping the fleet fit to fight.
Makamai
The company has been involved in proof of performance tests with its compounds, specifically tire manufacture. Those tests have resulted in better than expected results, however the company hasn't finished installing equipment at their two NA plants to manufacture powders and compounds necessary to provide these products in bulk. My DD indicates that they have contracts pending completion of these efforts based primarily on previous news releases, and will enter this new phase of manufacturing capability in the relative near future. There are always many roadblocks when attempting to build a company, especially when new patented processes are involved, not to mention the hurdles it takes to bring new processes to market in this financially unfriendly environment of today. It is my belief that the company is continuing to move forward, albiet slower than they or the investment community would like, thus the present share price.

Well Banker, maybe we can take the MMs for a ride next week. As I see it, having completed both the Demining conference and a Tigerfish conference along with an announced closing of acquisition #3 on Thursday - next week could be rich with NRs of the more meaty variety (not taking anything away from today's NR). Although it has certainly taken awhile to come to fruition, the wait will be more than worth it. I love it when a good plan comes together, and I feel Dean has laid out a GREAT plan for Quasar and all its investors...and our time is at hand
Makamai
Total manipulation by the MMs today - got caught with their pants down and drove it back down to cover. Hopefully next week will tell a different tale...
Makamai
Looks like the MMs are trying to bring it back down - I'd like to be a fly on the wall of the trading room right now
Makamai
A big AMEN to that - watch the basher bears run for cover...
Makamai
Jr - looks like the MMs got caught short and are trying to hold it down but without much success....I smell short covering!! CONGRATS to all faithful longs, this is just the start of what we've all believed in and have been waiting for IMHO.
Makamai
You got that right Expert - the bears definitely don't follow their own ramblings because even they know their ramblings are totally illogical. In reality, they are hoarding as many shares as the bulls...
Makamai
Cat - looks like the calm before the storm - power hour is at hand and only 8M so far..maybe news isn't that far off and no one wants to be caught short...
Makamai
Hey Richie - that would be a trip alright - but not totally that far out IMHO. Those supporting the Mineseeker Foundation, might also be compelled to support the Mineseeker Overseas Operation, Ltd., which is incorporated in BVI where Branson has interests. And keep in mind that Branson is no stranger to the Aerospace arena, having founded Virgin Atlantic Airways. Gives you a lot to ponder...
Makamai
Bang on the money Banker - what folks need to get a grasp on is that Dean is not forming a "company" in the normal sense of the word, Dean is forming a "Conglomerate". A conglomerate is a large company that consists of diverse divisions. In a conglomerate, one company owns a controlling stake in a number of smaller companies, which conduct business separately. Each of a conglomerate's subsidiary businesses runs independently of the other business divisions, but the subsidiaries' management reports to senior management at the parent company.
The largest conglomerates diversify business risk by participating in a number of different markets, although some conglomerates elect to participate in a single industry - for example, aerospace. So when we are talking about revenues, they will grow as additional companies come into the fold as well as existing companies continue to grow. Dean has stated "The first group of acquisitions are only the beginnings of the Quasar Aerospace conglomerate as we are actively pursuing other ventures within the aerospace industry." IMO, Quasar Aerospace will easily be a Fortune 500 company in the near future and quite possibly a Fortune 100 company in a few years. Revenue potential here is basically unlimited as at this point, rumor has it that there could easily be 17 acquisitions in the pipeline at present.
We should be giving birth to our baby next week, however the growth rate in the future as more companies are acquired will be far more interesting and add millions more in revenue long term.
Makamai
Based on the volume, this is nothing more than a technical bounce off the lows following Friday's hammer and confirmed by yesterday's doji candle. If rumor of pending news were on the street, the volume would be much heavier with basically all buys occuring on the ask. The MMs are easing off the breaks at this point but still maintaining control....for the moment anyhow.
Makamai
Clay did say it should bounce up from here after the Doji that formed today and that should be one heck of a bounce
Makamai
Thanks Buddy - I'm looking forward to it
Makamai
You raise a good point. It would appear from what we know about the technology, that Mineseeker technology will definitely map and locate. However that doesn't remove the problem, as the mine is still there. In order to reclaim land for future use, these land mines must be removed and/or destroyed so the question is, will Mineseeker also employ the technology to get that job done as well or will that require someone else.
Makamai
If history repeats itself, I suspect the market will smell the money this week and we should see some green days leading into the announcement by Dean. IMHO, Friday's hammer is telling us something big is about to happen...looking for confirmation on Monday...
Makamai
I agree with you in part Geo - the game has yet to play out. However if you think that $350M buys $350M worth of acquisitions, I take serious exception to that. In this present economy, someone who is in an acquiring mode can certainly deal for a deep discount to actual net worth. In addition to that, it only stands to reason that the companies to be acquired are in somewhat of a financial bind, most likely in default on some form of prior financing. It's only logical that after escrow has been completed, that any toxic financing has been removed as a condition of sale. Dean has already stated these are companies with positive cash flow, so in summary $350M is buying much more than $350M worth of companies.
Back to the game has yet to play out, we have heard various estimates from 6 to 17 companies in the acquisition pipeline. Then add Mineseeker and Tigerfish and its not hard to come up with an estimate of 100M EBITDA. I am as frustrated as you and most others with the fact that the financing has been drawn out this long, however Dean hasn't been sitting on his hands all this time, he's been taking care of business and keeping up on the acquisition hunt. Just the fact that he has been able to get some concessions from the lender in the way of fewer shares as collateral is an indication of his negotiating prowess.
IMHO, we are about to all be totally surprised by what's about to transpire vice disappointed in any way shape or form.
Makamai
Geo - you are basing your opinion regarding the SP on, sure guess work or what? There have been many stocks mentioned here by other posters that have made huge gains with a similar number of O/S, and far less potential and none with the likes of a loan with the terms that Quasar will be receiving.
If a NR comes out during trading hours, announcing a huge material event, normally the stock would be haulted, and resume trading after gaping up. If the NR comes out after hours, the gap would occur on the open. With the number of NRs that Dean should be releasing announcing completed acquisitions, additional info regarding Mineseeker contracts and other announcements within a short time period following the funding NR, that will continue to feed the market with positive impact on the SP. Of course, there will be some selling, but with the number of folks on the sidelines waiting to jump in once funding is annouonced, and the shrinking float that will occur, that will neutralize the early sellers. There will be dips and peaks as always, but on a ramp up scale like few have witnessed. Mark this post!
Makamai
Brikk - despite the fact that there are those who don't believe that pinky charts are worth anything, I beg to differ. Technical analysis can be applied to any stock as long as there is sufficient volume on a daily basis. Not even the bears can deny that QASP certainly doesn't lack for volume.
If you study the chart below, every time we have formed a hammer candle or close to a hammer candle in a downtrend (a washout occuring during the session with recovery or partial recovery towards the end of the session), the stock has rebounded in the following session(s). Look back at Aug - 2 examples, late Sept, early and late Dec, mid March and even earlier this month there are clear examples. Clearly Friday's hammer is most pronounced and approaches capitulation in the stock, having made the lowest low for over the last 6 months.
Regarding a "hammer candle", like any other chart signal, it requires confirmation. A Hammer can be confirmed by a bullish gap between the Real Body of the Hammer and the open on the next session. In other words, look for the next session opening higher than the Real Body of the Hammer. The greater the gap, the stronger the signal. Patterns with longer Lower Shadows have greater significance.
Monday should confirm the pattern.
Makamai
And that huge hammer that formed today will start it off...
Makamai
I'm with you on that one - $$$$$$ a share it is...
Makamai
And those couple of days all depends on how you compute the 10 days to start with...anywhere from the 19th to the 26th...
Makamai
Mahalo Future - and I think next week, the Deanmiester will make it one to remember....
Makamai
Speaking to principles at a company on a regular basis is DD101, something you are obviously not familiar with. Also, that line about forwarding stuff to the SEC - straight out of the bashers handbook - come on, you can be more original than that.
Makamai
ps - I'm not wasting anymore time responding to you so don't bother to reply...
The only truthful thing you said in that post is "Don't believe everything you read"..Beyond that, there is nothing in that post that even closely resembles the truth. Anyone reading it that believes anything you said deserves the fallout.
Makamai
I understand where you are coming from - however if you have a grasp at all of the enorimity of what's going on here, you can cut Dean some slack and realize that good things take time, GREAT things simply take a little longer. That's why you always need to keep your DD on the front burner and not let it cool off...
Makamai
Sorry - wrong conclusion but then I think you know that.
About this time next week I suspect you'll regret that move...
Makamai
You can believe what you want - I happen to believe the NRs and my DD tells me that MDOR's powders and compounds are the real deal and it won't be long before contracts are announced and the market responds accordingly.
Makamai
Soon Dean will be printing money for the shareholders, vice shares as some claim for the bears. I also wouldn't put it past Dean to come up with a few more surprises for the faithful longs just to spite the bears and flippers as well....
Makamai
