There is no news on the stock but there is speculation from the penny stock investor underground that news is pending.
MOPN is holding its own. Stay long. Some shorts have moved in, but termites have to be expected. Next PR will cause the shorts to cover, and provide another explosive lift. Take a look at BUGS today too....WOW !
I added 2 mil. shares yesterday. I smelled something coming with the hurricane season upon us, and the possibility of BUGS involvement in the gulf disaster. WOW! GLTA LONGS!!!!!!!
Beautiful vol. ! There is either news coming, or people are starting to see the possibilities with this company. Could pop to .01 easily.
Yeah, I tried the same thing at the YMCA yesterday. I got bailed out of jail this morning just in time for the market open. Oh well. lol
Have a great day everyone.
For Scottrade's Elite trading platform, they do want a 25k balance. What is your company?
Darby, I love pennants!!!
You are right on target IamtheWalrus.
There is something brewing at many companies to try to clean this mess up in the gulf. With the history that BUGS has for being a "green" company, and the proven patents, and technology that they own, I can see a surprise PR coming out about their involvement with is oil spill. I am positioned for this. Don't get caught without a position like many people did in MOPN, and whatever you do, don't get caught short in ANY of these oil remediation plays as that has the potential to wipe you out. Buy a couple of these oil remidiation plays, and when your share price doubles, sell half, and carry your "free" shares for long-term gains.
GLTA. Narnia
In sympathy with MOPN, and the ever-present possibility that they will come out with a PR of their own regarding oil remediation/gulf clean-up
Nice closing action on BUGS
Many will see the percentage gainers for the day, after they get home from work today. There is more to come tomorrow, this week, and into the future. If you are nervous, then wait until your share price doubles, then sell half, and hold onto your "free" shares.
Nice base forming.
If it goes strong into the close, don't flip as it should gap up in the a.m.
Chart looks very good. I added 2mil today. GLTA
Scottrade will give that to you after you have 25k in your account.
All my quotes have been screwd up today too. Good old Scottrade.
Yep, got filled at .22 At least I'm in now.
Anyone notice that there were over 300,000 shares purchased in the last two minutes before the close on Friday? Always interesting how there is "leakage" of information in this business.
Het TRADER, just wait, and buy the dip when it happens. You can still get in. I feel the same way about PSC.
I have called.....AND emailed.....no responses. You would think that a publicly traded company would have a little respect for the investors, and respond.
The second week of hurricane season has historically been the start of real activity in the gulf region. Looks like many storms are starting to stack up out there. I do think microbes will play a partial role in this massive clean-up, however I do not know if BUGS will directly get involved, or will allow licensing of its patented processes for microbes to be used by other companied that may be ready, willing, and able to take this mess on.
Hey "jire", THEY (ACLH) caused this. Stop looking to blame others for the actions (and inactions) of this company.
This company has gone nowhere for the past five years so why is it now getting so interesting? Plus. 1.4 billions shares.....cmon! You can't lift an elephant with a feather.
How many outstanding shares?
I am interested in this co., but I can't find any good info. at various investment websites regarding what they do. Can anyone here suggest something. I listened to the CC, but it was like watching the last minute of a movie....no idea what is going on.
Thanks for your help.
No, I have not received a single one back.......oh yeah, we must be in the "quiet period" right now. lol
This looks like a long-term hold for us, huh?
It is strange. The company seems like they are really trying, and making great progress. Something will light this up eventually. Hang tough.
Where the heck is Bob from BUGS?????
Federal officials set out 13 options for long-term cleanup
By Dan Vergano, USA TODAY
With oil reaching Louisiana's marshes, the next stage in the spill response may come from microbes.
"Bioremediation," fertilizing contaminated areas to spur oil-eating bacteria into action, is one of 13 options federal officials cited Wednesday in a three-stage plan for the last, longest part of the Gulf oil disaster, the coming cleanup of fouled shores.
2010 Atlantic hurricane season predicted to be a whopper
June 1, 2010
By Phaedra Friend Troy
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has predicted that the 2010 Atlantic hurricane season, which started June 1, could be “extremely active.”
Look to PennEnergy and its daily Global Offshore Weather Report for up-to-date video coverage of offshore wind, waves and weather for the nine busiest offshore regions worldwide, including the Gulf of Mexico.
According to the NOAA, the six-month hurricane season could serve up to 23 named storms, of which 14 could become hurricanes. The agency has also predicted that the 2010 hurricane season could have up to seven major hurricanes -- Category 3,4 or 5 storms with winds reaching 111 miles per hour.
The season’s first named storm, Tropical Storm Agatha, has already formed and disbanded, causing 180 deaths in Central America, reports AP. Although this storm did not enter the Gulf of Mexico, experts forecast that the region will see its fair share.
“We typically see a small burst of activity around the second week of June across the Gulf of Mexico and the western Caribbean Sea,” said Chris Herbert, lead hurricane meteorologist with ImpactWeather.
Watch ImpactWeather's 2010 Hurricane Report, featuring major seasonal preditors, historical trends and forecasted risk areas along the Gulf Coast.
“I think that there is a fair chance that we could see something develop in that region in another week or two. However, it’s more likely that the expected flurry of named storms will hold off until the third or fourth week of July and continue well into October," he continued.
Oil and Gas Industry Ready for Storms
The 2009 hurricane season did not threaten offshore installations or coastal facilities, but major hurricanes in 2005, 2007 and 2008 have wreaked havoc on the petroleum industry.
Not only are offshore rigs and production facilities in the path of the storm, subsea pipelines can be damaged from major hurricanes, as well as onshore refineries and processing plants.
Learning from past experiences, the oil and gas industry has enacted myriad safety measures to ensure both the safety of its personnel, as well as the safety of its facilities and equipment in the face of hurricanes.
Many times, personnel are evacuated days before the hurricane approaches, shutting in production and readying equipment should the storm arrive. Additionally, design changes have been enacted to ensure facilities can withstand the winds and waves associated with hurricanes.
Furthermore, Petrobras is developing the Gulf of Mexico’s first FPSO for the Cascade and Chinook fields. FPSOs have been extremely effective in Asia Pacific waters because when a typhoon threatens, the production vessel can unhook and move out of the path of the storm.
Great insight, and great post dementedhumor.
"Ares confirmed that he will verify this information in order to ensure that we will open on the pink sheets come this June 09."
Wishful thinking has no place in trading, or investing. Ares has no, repeat NO power to ensure that we will open on the pinks.
It is going on the greys.....better start accepting it soon.
This company deserves to be shut down permanently. They hyped everything while ACTing like something that they were not, and to the detriment of many hard-working people.
A poster of an old gray haired, bearded guy, with a finger pointed at YOU. Basic-- " I
want you" !!!
That is UNCLE SAM you IDIOT !!!!!!
Don't let ACLH scare you. BUGS is not a scam company, and they do not make fluff PR's full of lies. This is a good time to be in this stock with hurricane season upon us, and the possibility of an oil remediation play in the gulf region. GLTA.
Read post 16047. Too much kool-aid will get you thinking like this.
Sounds like you drank two cups of the kool-aid instead of one.
ACT put themselves in a bad light, not the SEC. If they would have just answered the phone when the SEC called, or returned their call(s), then maybe this could have all been avoided, UNLESS they were a scam all along (AND YES, I KNOW THEY HAVE A PATENT.....big deal) They were ACTing like they were more than they were.
There are no test result because there was no test. We were scammed. It is NOT the fault of the SEC. We will open trading on the "greys", and suffer the consequences of the risky pink sheets market.
