Morning Gottalotta,
Sounds fair for now. but tomorrow could be .015 another record low, :(-
The pump was last summer and this Spring so far. October sounds like a fair deadline to me, I will hang on for a while. I just wont be looking at the gainskeeper, ouchhhhy. Down 53.86%
What if.
What if Wilf is a pump and dumper, but loves treasure hunting and diving and is honestly trying to make this work the best of his ability. Maybe in the start it was or (still is) a pump and dump that happened to stumble onto some good situations and maybe it will work out.
If Wilf manages the company into the ground, what will happen to the permitted areas? Sounds like a few folks here might be able to jointly manage a company that will rescue the stuff on the bottom of her Majesty the Sea. There might be a shell company to purchase and have Deep Black Marine Rescuers or some such.
This is not mutiny on Wilf, just a thought for what if and a chance to continue the dream. I am not talking of a take over but to pick up if it fails, might be something to ponder.
yeah I noticed that.
This is interesting.
OMR is now ODYSSEY MARINE EXPL (NasdaqCM)
From my understanding DPBM cannot release anything on the Ledge with out the written consent of the FKNMS. I would suppose that the archeologist is making darn sure of what the artifacts are, and from what time period.
I will have to try again tomorrow for the .017, my order did not get picked up today.
Hold on Thar.
I do not want the stock PPS to be low, but if it is I am going to try to average down as much as I can.
One view is, that the PPS might take more then one find to reach the high numbers we all want. So instead of one 2000% increase maybe we will have 4 500% finds, to me that is plausible.
Dang blast it, it missed my order by a smidge, will I chase it up? No way, done that before.
Sure is quiet in here today, where did everybody go? Yardboy you usually have 3-4 posts by now. I must have missed the invite to the picnic.
Easy does it Gotta.
Gottalotta, you aint gonna like this. I have an order in for .017, let's see how the day starts out. Could be a PR and at .34 before I can re-load my order, now that would be sweeeeeeeeeet.
Ed, we will.
Capted how about a go for me.
I would like to bet you as well and ride the coat tails of Yardboy’s bet. I do NOT want emeralds or sapphires or rubies or anything like that. Here is my bet, the looser has to take the winner fishing. If you win, I will take you fishing out here my way, if I win you take me fishing over there your way. Deal
I placed a small order this morn for .017, lets see what happens.
Thank you Mr Gotta latta $$$$$$. I am so broke that I cannot afford the steam off of a free lunch, he he, that is why I had to lean to fish so efficiently, or go hungry.
So we have a cancerous stock huh, what do you think it will take to fix it? I guess besides the simple part of STOP the selling, diluting.
Capted you are a smart man to go fishing, don’t make me come all the way over there to get you out on the water. I will get you the pics, they should be ready in about, well who knows.
104 here today, ouch way to hot to be out installing a septic system, I polished off 1 plus gallons of water and good ol Florida Gator Aide. Anybody want to be a ditch monkey, the pay is better then divers pay. 100.00 a day, no experience needed, stop in over at the hen house and sign up, must know how to fish as well.
How bad is it?
I have not been in this trading situation before, with all the selling, to me it seems that the PPS is holding it’s own pretty good considering the volume. With as much dilution I would have thought that we would have been way sub penny, but like I said this particular situation is new to me. It seems the general consensus is that the PPS should be higher, is that because we want it higher or because with this type of dilution the PPS should still climb? Again, to me it will all matter when the goods hit the deck, then it is no longer speculation.
Hey gotta, who would have that information on the MM?
Gottalottamoney, you had some thoughts on naked shorting, do you still think along those lines?
Could be sugar that is for sure.
Happy 4th of July to all.
Yardboy I somewhat feel the same about the broken promises but the DR deal did come through, and from what I understand it should be a good deal. I think we need to look at the “pros” as well as the “cons” and there are some “pros”, maybe not the ones that we all want so badly, and that is Gold to hit the decks and the PPS to take off and never look back. I HATE to lose money that is why when we travel and maybe venture into a casino I count the funds as “entertainment” not an investment, sure we all gamble to win, I LOVE to win as well as the next guy, in my eyes Pinks are the same as pulling that progressive handle, worst odds in the house, but when the shinny stuff hits the bottom of the metal tray and keeps on pouring out, there is no feeling like it. I think that we are sitting at a machine that is located in a high traffic area on the end of a row and our casino manager has this machine set for jackpot.
Good idea about the questions that way we will not have mass people calling to all ask the same question. “when will the selling stop?” and should free up some phone space for a possible different line of thoughts and questions.
Some of my thoughts.
When would you (Wilf) expect to see revenue from DR?
The same for Florida and NC. (ledge, Kirby, woman key)
How will artifacts be stored and marketed, or will they be marketed?
Is DPBM going to set up some type of stock buyback?
When will there be a shareholders meeting? And where?
I would guess that the dilution will stop when they reach the $1,000,000.00 they are allowed. They can't publicly announce the % of DR, not sure why just what Wilf said. The dilution might stop if they get some revenue coming in, otherwise no way in heck.
Dont forget the Market closes early today.
Gulfbreeze, this is all I have copied for the DR regarding a %
As far as the question about Tracy Bowden not bringing this wreck up himself if it was any good. Mr. Bowden is 69 years old and ready to retire in a few years. He is committed to 3 other wrecks right now, and as he says, there isn’t enough time left for him to get to everything he has found. He has worked these waters since 1975, and has discovered more wrecks than any other man alive. He has had the exclusive contract for his area since 1975. He cannot possibly do it all in the rest of his life, and I know I won’t do it all in the rest of mine, but no one else can recover a wreck in his areas. They are protected by the Navy and if you pick up one thing from the ocean floor in his area you go to jail. There are a lot of wrecks in the waters in his area. We have the equivalent of a level 7 permit there: we dive it, film it, map it and bring it up. It then is logged as our discovery by the Navy officer on board our boat, goes to the government head reclamation and restoration facility where they restore it, and we pick up our share (and it is significant but not to be released to the public) every 30 days, or every 60 days or every 90 days whichever we decide. The government gives us an export certificate and a certificate of authenticity and ownership, and we bring it home.
Brezzlin, the numbers you posted sound good. I cannot agree or disagre, but it is something that I would like to see, or more, yeah the delution is there, but don't count out the frenzy, that is what I am counting on, not just the workable nubers but the unseen and unknown, the Market.
Anybbody using Scottrade for Pinks? I have a question.
I believe that Wilf said this is something that we "wanted" to do, but was in the future quite a bit. I see it as a year or so down the road, and by then our stock will be worth a fourtne, well if you think that .04 is a fortune, he he , just kidding.
Deep Blue might hit .000000001, to me, I do not care at all right now how low it go's. It wont really matter until something hits the deck, is the question will something hit the deck or when. I belive it is when, and I belive that to be soon. The Ledge in my book is a long way off, they can only dive an hour or two a day, and then every other day, I would think to map and log, it would take a month or longer, one would guess deppending on how detailed of a job that they do, I am hoping that they take their time and do it right. If the scatter trail is of more then one ship and you choose the wrong ship to salvage then we are really screwed. I hope they really take their time a get it right, that does not mean take a cig break every 10 minutes, to me that means cross the "t's" and dot them "I's".
Now if they bring up the goods and the stock stays in around .02 - .03 then I will be pissed and wonder why. If this is a BS story and a scam, they should get prize, because I do not see how anybody could orcastraight (sp) such a setup, though I do know very little for fact.
Max, I do belive it is legal. I did read that somewhere, I think on the DPBM blog, and then did a little research on it. He has to hold them for 6 mons if I remember correctly, or did I miss understand your statement?
With a week packed with interesting economic ingredients, Deep Blue Marine Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DPBM) closed at $0.025 with a trading volume of 1,442,570 this Monday.
Time is an element that investors lack when undergoing due-diligence on promising companies. Our equity investigation squad has been on a time crusade dissecting, probing and studying the Pinksheets, so that we could churn the most appealing prospects from the numerous companies listed therein. With our eyes wide open for the various potential candidates and our brain power processing news from the market and its governing bodies, we look into Deep Blue Marine Inc. for you as more economic data is expected to pour in at the beginning of July.
Amongst the press releases made on Monday 25th June 2007, the one for Deep Blue Marine Inc. caught attention. Deep Blue Marine Inc. announced that the company is preparing to begin photographing, mapping and recovering significant artifacts from the Le Scipion, a French 74 gun ship of the line, that ran aground October 18th, 1782 in Saman Bay, Dominican Republic, after a full scale running gun battle with the English war ships London and Torbay.
Deep Blue Marine Inc. is engaged in deep water exploration and recovery of important treasures and artifacts worldwide. In the coming season the company will dive on known and permitted wrecks as well as establish exact locations of other known wrecks. All work will be video recorded

Sounds like the DR is income until the ledge gets the next level permit. If they can work all 3 sites effectively, I say go for it. Sometimes it is hard to pick the best fishing hole for the day, I try to gather all the data and choose from there, sometimes I am right and the fishing is GREAT and other times I am incorrect and the fishing kind of sucks. Hind sight makes the choice seem easy. I say go for where the revenue will come in the easiest and fastest, lets get into the BLACK, Deep in the BLACK.
Capted, on other posts you have mentioned your disapproval of Deep Blue having non experienced divers, that the diving should be for the professionals, now you are saying to cut cost to hire young inexperienced help? I am not totally sure I agree with that. To me that sounds like a recipe for trouble.
Mike, my point as well. 350.00 a week is 8.75 an hour, no way in hell anybody would work for that, no diver that is worth anything would work so cheap, anywhere. No way, not unless they were getting a %, a large %. Capted, no disrespect to you at all, but your figures seem very very low, maybe that was 1,350.00.
CAPT, this will probably sound bad, but it is not meant that way at all, just my thoughts. 4,300.00 a month is not very much money really. Take home will be an average of 22% lower than the gross. that is approx 25.00 an hour. My opinion is that is pretty tough work for 25.00 an hour. I would also assume (ass-u-me) that the upper brass would make a little bit more, but no real big deal. Each individual is hired based upon their skills. Again I do not know much of the diving industry in the Keys, but would think that working for 25.00 an hour would be the bottom of the pay scale. That is not for a dock hand or boat washer type kind of fella if ya know what I mean.
This is the day
It has to be, it is a perfect day.
Miss Mate you are welcome too, I dont mind showing more then one how to fish at a time. he hehe heheh hehe. Then we can really battle the Deep Blue situation. A half hours drive in most any direction and there are 40 plus lakes to hit, and in the winter, ice fishing.
Any new bets you wanta make, the betting counter is open. are you sticking to a buck by the end of June, tick tock, tick tock. hehe hehhe ehehe. Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurse, I need a Nurse, my PPS is way to high.
Roo
Gulfbreeze, yeppers again.
I agree.
Gulfbreeze, yeppers.
I would not take those guys off until they urinated Hydrogen. Well ok that is a little bit far. Safety first but those two guys are glued to that site, and I would be working on some alternitaves, either more divers or a sub type of thingy, oooh love the high teck talk.
Roo
Smart man Capted.
If you are ever interested in catching some trout 5lb to 30lb just let me know, and we will HOOK you up. Just a 1.25 hour drive from the ol mountain top we call home. Hope you get some relaxation time in, don't sweat the small stuff in life it has a way of working itself out just the way it is suppose to be. Sounds like any day could really be The Day. What it would be worth to be a fly on that boat on that day. Look out PPS.
Roo
My most honorable appology for my comment.
MAXJDA, good point
