Looking for a new home for my account.
Can anyone recommend a site that charges a flat fee for trading Nio instead of charges for being under 1 dollar. I have used Scottrade before and they were ok. Thanks
The best words an investor can ever read are "bidding war".
Land, I am looking for the discounted value. If Mark is serious about building a mine, maybe he pushes up the price but I am still sticking to my prediction we are not around in less than 18 months. For a spec play in a terrible marketplace, a 12.50 number would be huge to big shareholders and even medium size ones. I know what some here hold and it would be a home run.
I do agree with you though.
Figure on one more dilution in the fall and then let's see what happens. Anything north of 10 would be fantastic for me personally. I would think 12.50 would be a great price. I am not greedy.
Awesome is the right word to Pepe. Save some shares for the rest of us.
I am sure if you call the company, they will let you have the free shares for 20 cents. It happens all the time. They put up the capital and then give it back to shareholders who want them at the PP price.
Act fast though or they might be gone.
This was your gem that sealed the deal. The stock is up an amazing percentage this year and all you do is throw negative vibes. You are not looking for answers. You are just looking to stir the pot.
Why don't you sit back and watch the History Channel re-runs of when Adolph was taking names and kicking ***. Actually he would have been great for motivational speeches .
I bet you are a real hit during the Christmas Holidays.
Usually these happen when either the company is tired of complying with SEC mandates, a stock is severely undervalued, or a private equity firm makes a large premium bid for existing shareholders. You have to have a majority of 51% voting in favor of going private.
I have never been involved with one doing that but I wonder if you can own shares in the private company.
You are correct on your first and second sentence. From what I understand, the total size of the deposit and the cost to extract are the most important factors.
Appreciate the info you bring to the discussion.
I would hazard a guess that LPC has a writer on staff somewhere in the penny stock world.
Someone wants in.
Strong hands taking from weak in the last few minutes. I never blame someone for selling and I never blame one for buying(except for 90% of my own trades). It is the nature of the beast.
Your strategy should be to turn off the computer and come back in 3-4 months.
Ever heard of selling on the news. Happens all the time.
Let the dust settle. Walter is correct in that the news is excellent and as we head into the abyss, the results will get better. If I was an investor getting in, I would be buying on the dips. So far today, the selling pressure is feeble.
You are correct.
We are in a perfect storm right now. This stock might have the ability to go vertical and not look back until we get a realistic assessment of what they have and how much it will cost to extract. The keys are cost extraction and the amount of the deposit. I believe we will be acquired sooner than later if favorable results are met.
Very astute observation. I surmise it either goes up or goes down.
Quality post. Your last sentence is worth a second look. Good info.
Why don't you e-mail Tom and get back to us.
Maybe they will start passing collection baskets out for the second offering at Mass.
The host looks like a cartoon character. They should just put a pic of Kate Upton and roll with it.
One day I would like to meet this team. Hopefully take a run to Elk Creek in the fall.
If NIo goes to 10 bucks a share, you can tell her to see you in divorce court and then meet a few of us in Costa Rica. The girls are on Invesor.
The selling has been intense all week. Thank God you post rarely.
That is the PP going off. These were the numbers discussed and you see the first insider posted.
My credit cards have a hole in them. Good luck.
Went to Champs in King of Prussia for dinner. I was better off fighting Cassie for her bowl. Never again with that dump.
Cough up the dough you cheap *******.
Certain people will get it here and the common folk will not.
I have a feeling Nigeria has more going for it than Elk Creek.
I can attest to that from personal experience. My point was that the context of his e-mail implied that he seemed to be a hitter and was in the process of scooping shares quickly.
This may be a good deal or it may not. When management seeks you out for funding, it tells me they cannot raise it anywhere else. You do not want a lot of investors taking piecemeal amounts.
I was offered to be part of a rule 144 restricted deal in a biotech stock by the CEO a few years ago. Stock was trading at 77 cents-PP was going to be at 45 cents. Declined the offer because I do not like being married to a position. Needless to say the stock is now under a penny.
It is just the reality of the situation.
Good stuff Rooster. I have zero faith in this government doing the right thing but the risk/reward of owning Nio is to the upside. I also have statements bearing that 5-letter symbol. Hated the previous name of this company. Good luck in your investments.
From your only post here, I gathered you were a big time player.
Have you filed a 13d yet?
sue should be sure
I have felt like that guy many times.
X, we need some transparency on where this company is headed. You might be the only shareholder attending the ASM and I give you full credit for going. I am sue Tom will be glad to see you(lol).
Sandberg acts like a robot programmed by management to spout the party line. In Lightwave's case, we needed someone years ago from the Silicon Valley to get us moving in the right direction and have a slew of contacts and seed money.
Easy to post this drivel when you own less than a couple thousand shares.
Were you contacted by the company on participating in the PP?
The last thing you want is 35-40 parties interested. Hopefully they could raise money from 1-2 funds or wealthy individuals. This seems to be all about George coming to the rescue possibly getting a nice finders fee for his efforts.
Bottom line is minimal dilution and Tom shutting down his e-mail and phone when this pool of investors starts complaining 4 months from now. What a Cluster****.
I have the feeling there will be pressure on Z to leave if they do not have something very soon(3-4) months. We have qualified names in the science end but management has drawn a zero so far. The BOD is as much to blame as anyone. We need a spark in the business side and someone on the board who has a vested interest in Lightwave.
No wonder why none of these guys have ever bought a single share except for the guy who purchased 30k at 1.45 or 1.50.
