Excellent post . However directing it to that poster is a waste of time. He has no interest in anything positive coming from Nio and never heard of Molycorp during it's meteoric rise.
I wonder how Moly feels about losing their talent to Nio.
Mark is poaching more people than the rhino hunters in the bushlands of Africa.
I have no reason why it dropped. Stocks tend to have quick movements some time and MM's want to get a weak hand to unload. News coming out has all been good so far so I stay the course.
The Canadian took a nosedive and that triggered the offer going lower here.
I will be thrilled when we are traded in the states full time.
that should be mind instead of ind. I was kicked by a giraffe.
He is from another message board and is very jealous of the success of this company. He is a stooge for another poster there and has no ind of his own. I believe he was kicked in the head by a mule when he was a boy so I do feel some sympathy for the mule.
This poster is here to stir up trouble and nothing more. He should be banned ASAP.
BOOYAH
Barring massive dilution, I do not see much in the way resistance wise in the near future. Looks like multiple firms have accumulated positions for customers and will buy on dips. Imagine when we start getting real coverage from top US firms. Not sure how you price the upside of what the stock should be trading at 3-6 months out but a double seems a good probability and possibly a triple.
Can you eliminate the second video please. I thought it was a cartoon.
Walter, I am humble and have been in many situations where things have not been good. There are no guarantees that my current positions will pan out as well.
My issue with LWLG is that they are not consistent and you are always left guessing as to what their objective goal is . The list is a mile long of things that were implemented and then scaled back or eliminated altogether. It does not take a genius to make statements to shareholders and get them excited only to rinse and repeat the following year.We have no idea if Tom is the right man for the job as it seems Smith and Marcelli were not.
Two years ago, some of us spoke to Tom and he assured us he would not be here in 2014. I guess we figured the company would be bought out. Seems like he meant they were moving to Colorado(lol).
The list seems endless with missed opportunities and timelines. We seem to revel in every new hire as the final piece of the puzzle and yet dismiss the departed as collateral damage. Babu and Greenlee were highlighted as the new kids that were going to bring Lightwave into the future and they were gone within 24 months. Now it is students pulling at Colorado who are the new Bill Gates and Steve Jobs that will get LWLG shareholders to the promised land. Maybe they will get lucky but no one really knows what is going to happen although some here seem to have all the answers.
People should go back and read their predictions from the past 3-4 years. No one has been right and no one knows what the future holds. I am a realist Walter and when I talked to one BOD member who assured me the deal with EM Photonics was still on and the next day a PR came out and said they had terminated their dealings, I knew that there some some holes in this ship.
What the **** happened to the previous materials the company had boasted would lead to profitability and revenue. No one has the answer. Now they are into something new and who knows if that will last as well.
You do your DD and place your bets. No one knows if the bet will pay off. Hopefully you one for two and you net out ahead.
As soon as I sold the last of my LWLG a few months ago, my portfolio started climbing higher and today it stands at an all time high. Sometimes a stock will have bad karma and spoil everything else in the pot. I hope LWLG does go up for the investors I told to start buying years ago but it is always buy at your own risk. The stock is not really a loser, it just does not move at all.
NIOBF,TKMR,BCRX,FOLD have helped me get off the ground . You have do a lot of DD and not have others do the dirty work for you.
Buz, how you you put out news the day of the ASM and tell the crowd a bunch of college kids pulled a sleepover to scramble to get it done. That had to be a joke.
Let up hope it does not turn out like that turd(lol).
Only poster who has an answer for everything but cannot make a dime in this stock. That one yard line has turned into Back to Bataan.
Where is Sarge? His post came and went and the stock ran into a buzzsaw. Coincidence, I think not(lol). Hopefully he is right but it seems strange that we started drifting lower after that. He might have millions of reasons to be positive.
Never toot your horn until you make a sale and then it becomes more than a paper profit.
I think I was supposed to call you at one time.
Just curious how this poster berates others and does not receive some sort of reprimand.
Did anyone ask TZ if the lab in Delaware is still functional?
booyah
are you still wondering?
As usual you are correct. The best thing I see from that trade is someone with intelligence is paying a MM to grab stock but not forcing the issue. Good sign.
So either you sit and wait for results or take a flyer and buy ahead of the PR. No advice to give you but good luck no matter what your choice is.
I am having a hard time with your posts. Who exactly are you talking to here. You already have capital invested and will wait for further results before increasing your position. Sounds fair and well thought out. Pay a higher price but know that your fears were allayed.
Why waste your time here when you can directly call the company as a large shareholder and get the answers to your questions. Maybe as a nice guy you can relay some of the answers. I will be waiting patiently for a response.
Why don't you call Mark and Peter to voice your concerns. Better yet, just wait for all the numbers to come out and then make your decision. Seems fairly simple to me.
How many ASM meetings have you attended or how many calls have you made to management. Please feel free to share your answers with us. Thanks
no follow thru after the opening. I was expecting more but that will come when this becomes more visible. Just a retail play at the moment.
I saw only 65k when I posted. I added another 10k today.
Good call as a reasonable bid has shown up on the TSX.
As always a class answer. Appreciate the input. I just added another 5k.
Did you get a chance to watch the segment with Mark?
I will be glad when the company can start getting exposure to the US media. Mark can start blitzing the CNBC,FOX,Bloomberg connections and get the word out.
Someone just threw more logs onto the fire. I am thinking the burst of buying on the TSX is related to this segment on tv.
I would estimate that between three of us that post regularly here, we own and know others that would represent ownership close to 5% of the outstanding shares and maybe more.
I was a seven figure holder for a 2 week stretch but have scaled back considerably. If I did not have to, I would hold over seven figures.
I was not even including our LWLG crew but you are welcome(lol). These are friends and people from my neighborhood, sports club and doctors.
We know the risk and accept the outcome. I am going to catch hell if this does not hit(lol).
I put at least 20 alone into this stock thru endless sales pitches. Wonder if I will ever get a thank you back(lol). I pitched over 250 people thru the past few years. Most would not touch this with a ten foot pole.
After this stocks hits, you and me are going to own a WWE wrestling team called the Mexican Cartel with Senor Mucho and Senor Gusto as our representatives.
Go to Ferguson Missouri and you can buy them dirt cheap.
I am amazed on how the 3-d printing is taking the world by storm.
There was a stretch of time where I thought what the heck I was doing wasting my money on this company. I sold almost all the position and then reloaded a few weeks later when I decided this is what I believe in(natural resources). Took me awhile to get it back but I did without having to pay up.
If NIO for some reason does not hit, we cannot say we did not have a chance to sell. Mark Smith has brought a big name with a past track record and more importantly investors who have provided liquidity.
No a Mercedes
Landmark, the 99.99% refers to the prob. that the company will succeed. The PPS is a whole different animal. I hope I am dead wrong at a 4.50 buyout. I know what Mark did in his previous venture and what he thinks of Nio. Hell, he told me so.
I do not know how people live in NYC. After our great dinner that night, I could not wait to get home and my driver Jimmy Johnson cooperated.
I might have to lose over six figures soon and am not happy about it but it is what it is.
Lcp, I think anything over 4 would be a great score for some here. I took your number of 22x the price and took a 55% haircut off of it.
I am sure you know management on a personal level and I had the good fortune with a fellow poster to meet with them in NYC recently. Could not ask for two more genuine people than Mark and Peter. Answered every question we threw at them but I also got to see the personal side and that was what I was looking for the most. No heirs about them, just good guys who really enjoy what they do.
The success rate of this project is 99.99%. There is a tidbit for you.
