That caught my eye as well. Combat Surgical Hospitals (CSHs) would benefit tremendously! A nice military contract perhaps???
Chuckles it is then... dude!
Excellent post! Let's just get the damn thing to market! FDA is the hurdle. Once the FDA gives Titan the nod, buckle up!
I'm gonna start call'n you Chuckles!
Yup, I have researched the team. Though I don't know any of them personally, from what I've read I am confident in what they bring to the table! Most CEOs in the device / drug industry have impressive backgrounds. Titan Mgt seems to have a good mix of expertise and skill.
yup! I really wish I would've taken my own advice and unplugged my computer until May 22nd!
Sometimes I just sit and LMAO at this message board. Like right now!! lol
EXACTLY! I keep saying it is all psychology. If you hope your 50k shares will be $100 ps some day (with 100 mil OS) then a 1:2 RS just means you now hope your 25k shares will be worth $200 ps (at 50 mil OS).
If they decide to do it because they couldnt get pps up organically, then it looks like they are doing it out of desperation (which is what someone recently said is the reason a RS is done). Strategically it is best to do it at a time when news is solid and consistent. It all comes down to whether or not you think the company's stock price can fare well with so much dilution. For those that want to see this thing go well into to triple digit pps, and/or a buyout at a respectable pps, the OSs will need to be reduced at some point. IMO
Agree the number of OSs is just too high!
I agree with your statement about the FDA. I am a clinical research monitor and I contract with sponsor companies in drug and device development (primarily investigational drug) to audit data before they submit for approval. There are ALWAYS delays with the approval process. Ximedica may help to streamline the process but keep in mind the FDA is a powerful government regulatory agency. It is their job to make it difficult. On the plus side, Titan is a new company so they havent had an opportunity to get the FDA agitated. I recently posted a 483 (Warning Letter) from the FDA to ISRG... trust me, life in the regulatory department at Intuitive is no picnic now that the FDA has reason to continually audit them. The takeaway from this post? Don't be alarmed if the FDA holds up approval. It is all too common!
Good post!!
Yep, Im all for that. I hope he has his Titan team run'n 40's and hit'n the sled before work!
I hope u are right about 5/21!
Right on! That is exactly how I see it!
Keep in mind, John Hargrove's career has been in sales and marketing. We are in the R & D phase here. His day to shine will come but he's not much more than a figure-head at this point in time.
I did say in a previous post I'd like it done now... I meant I'd prefer it be done sooner rather than later and for a good reason, like to get us to a position to uplist and/or to lower the outstanding shares. We will not get a desired buyout price with diluted stock. I would like to have a decent holding after a M/A occurs (if/when that happens and if it's a stock purchase). Im long on Titan AND long after Titan! The real ROI comes about five years or so after product launch.
I agree. I am just pointing out that an R/S is not a deatg knell like a couple people seem to think. It all depends how and why it is utilized.
Right! It wasnt the R/S that did them in... it was the position they put the company in leading up to the R/S. It was horrible timing!
Exactly!
That's just one example Cuin... Titan's pps hasn't done much during the same amount of time! The notion that a R/S is a negative move is silly. It all depends when and why it is done. I'd rather have it done now to get us to the 50 mil outstanding range (and in position to uplist) so that if/when an acquisition happens we are more likely to have a stock exchange ratio at or close to 1:1 (depending on the acquirer). That will not happen if we have significantly more shares outstanding. I was an emplyee of Schering-Plough when Merck and SP merged. I took a hit on the new pps on my stock options. In reality I didnt lose value on my SP options, but the new pps did not transfer to Merck's pps (each SP share was worth about 70% of Merck's). Dilution does hurt us when it comes to potential pps.
But is it the R/S of the "other company" to blame? Or just the fact that they did to affect psychology instead of strategically? It may have been bad timing.
If Titan is gonna do it, I prefer they do it soon... when they are confident that they can maintain a high enough pps to uplist. Otherwise they shouldnt do it at all!
I don't disagree.
But I do have to say Im not as fearful of an R/S as you. I've owned a stock that did well soon after a R/S. I also have owned stocks that have done forward splits and tanked. It just depends when and why the splits are done. They are often done to affect psychology of investors. I think it might of been you that said it is done to "steal shares." That is just not true. If you cut the number of shares outstanding in half, your shares will just be worth twice as much. I'd prefer we get uplisted sooner and be in the same ballpark with shares outstanding as ISRG.
Honeycomb is right about the lack of info. If they have made some advances, they ought to tell us about them! But on the other side of the coin, I want real news that affects the stock price one way or the other... I dont need to keep hearing the same stuff repeated. They'll give us info when it's time. I'm not about to buckle under because of "conspiracy theories!". The company is legit. Let's hope their ideas and design are legit as well.
I wouldn't read too much into John Hargrove answering his own phone and Beverly having other clients. Folks, right now this company is in development stage only. They are not pumping out product. I'd be more worried if Hargrove was nowhere to be found! Trust me, when this thing is launched, you will not get a chance to talk to him directly.
Why all the panic all of a sudden?
Message board meltdown today, eh?
Lol... this board gets more entertaining day-by-day!
lol, cheers brutha!
Come on people... I bought 15k shares at 2.26! It's a bargan right now! When it gets into 3 dollar territory in June y'all will be kick'n yourselves!
Make it 1.88, that's my baseline (dollar-cost average).
I concur!
Yep, replaced by ebonics, spanglish and a whole lotta rubbish, gibberish and drivel! Sad!
Queen's English? You should school us then. Take this board up a notch or two!
I just did some... Did you hear Dr Bruce Wolff from Mayo was appointed to the Board of Directors (rolls eyes)?
Lighten up Francis! Until there is some news and/or a spike in pps, not much else to do to keep a pulse go'n on this board.
He ought to think about investing in a remedial English course! Just say'n!
I think he rates manhood by the number of shares one has!
lol, I'm looking forward to it. His nonsensical rants are hilarious.
Step away from the bottle!
