I have had it on my watch list for a year now...I thought it would go back under $2-2.50. It hasn't, I'm in, now!!!
I agree with you. Very realistic data given. I still think the profit per doll is light, if selling the doll by its own company. What is the profit margin going to be on their super sale? If retailing for $16-$18, and only making $6 per doll without the sale, the margin is really going to diminish then. There needs to be some sort of high margin accessory, I believe, to help offset the lost profit during the sale, or offer some sort of "two for" deal, to generate more turns on units. For example, buy 1 get 1 half off. Or buy 1 and get a high margin accessory for 20% (or whatever %) off...just throwing it out there. They all have years of experience. I really like the concept of their target markets. Maybe come out with "Mini Me" series dolls, for stocking stuffers.
IMO
Same boat. Wanted to add more at this level, but health reasons. Very optimistic, though. Blessings!
I'm holding steady. Sampa had that great article. Mkt Cap sitting at 633k. Good forward looking info. Once sales start hitting Op Statement and EBIT is solid, very well could get interesting. We shall see after the quarter ending after Christmas and next year sales.
I would expect margins to be higher if selling outright, if retailer is making $6 profits per doll, I get it...selling outright making $6, that is a little light to me...thoughts?
IMO
Longtime:
What is your thought on Llewelyn Watkins takeover? I know you have been in this for years. I have only been in since 2011. I always enjoyed reading your posts.
Yahoo Finance was showing financials as of 9/20/13 for previous quarter for OWOO.
Thanks Sampa! Several of the questions I had on Q&A were answered in terms of cost, retail, profit, qty of dolls ordered...good info!
Do you still have that message?
Has anyone else called the company number or emailed them? If so, any word on the Q&A from the CC. Just curious to see what was asked.
Lets bust through .003s & .004s!!! Should have a PR, regarding Q & A on the CC... I agree on a potential Christmas stock.
IMHO
Niiiice!!!!! LOL
Thank you...10Q???
Still on the fence...
Thanks Sampa...you are right!
Sounds good to me...
...and I received a return email from Ms Sarah. She is a true inspiration.
It was a pleasure speaking to him. When I called, it was an automated answer, and the message said to hit "0" for the Operator. I've invested only a couple times in penny land and when I would call those companies, it was just a recording and I was asked to leave a message. To me, that was a good indicator the company wasn't as projected. But today, when I hit "0", Mr Daniel picked up. Very impressive!!!
I bought, and I'll buy more!!!
I called One World just a few moments ago and spoke to the Founder, Mr Daniel. What an amazing guy! I asked about questions/FAQs, and he said they are still sifting through them and making sure they don't overstep any boundaries, so to speak. He is excited, and I am too, after just speaking to the Founder of One World!
I would like to see what questions were submitted for management to answer about the company.
I think this company has a lot of experience within their management team. It could take 6 months, 12 months, or more, before a profit could be recognized. I am ok with that. The time it takes to make a sample, then make changes to the sample, then send back with modifications, then send back for approval, etc then to have funds to mass produce the sample, takes a lot of time and money. I was glad to hear on the conference call, that product was already being produced. I hope they have, or will eventually obtain vendor numbers and/or vendor licensing to distribute product to major retailers. I am anxious to hear how well the dolls will sell on Black Friday in a few months.
Go OWOO!!!
IMHO
The team is outstanding. Mr. Daniel sounded so passionate about these dolls and gave each speaker the necessary time to tell their own background and story. I can relate to Ms. Sarah, in regards to health. But in her life, she has stayed positive, and pushed forward for the last 18 years (although not easy, I'm sure), really struck a cord with me. I'm in!!!
Thank you One World. It's what we need.
IMHO (In My Humble Opinion)

Have a wonderful weekend!!!
It seems like more and more posters are on this board every day. I am hoping there is accumulation going on.
I love that this company has management experience from other large companies.
Please, if you have questions for management, go to their website and submit them before the conference call...
I know they probably won't be able to address all of them, but hopefully, a good portion.
I am a "Buy" on this company.
This is my first post on ihub ever, and I have been on for almost 2 years.
This is my opinion only. (IMO)
