Looks like the entire Solar Sector is getting killed right now. Is there something going on relative to the legislation front or something else. There have been a number of positive earnings announcements, and the price of oil is still in the low 90's.
I don't know what is behind this.
Seems like most of the Solar Stocks are getting pretty good hair cuts today; any insight into what is going on?
Looks like we have some good buys go off this morning.
cool, tnanks!!
Well, I am done with this pig. Take my 30% asswhipping loss and move on. With no upcoming news and no action from 10-Q, I see this as dead or maybe even drifting lower; especially if the toxic financing wolves decide to start eating some sheep
GLTA
Is there a Solar Stock index that is traded on either the NYSE or Nasdaq? thx
or next week for that matter.
I missed that one; what is the piggyback system?
thanks - I see your posts over at the solar stock board, and the other thing that is potentially hurting us was the news regarding the upcoming energy bill
Anyone recall whether the company has any outside financing arrangements. ie., convertable note financing??
So much excitement about the 10Q yesterday that we can't get off the ground this morning.
Celebration party for the 10Q must have left a lot of people hungover this morning....HA!!
how many companies do they have "interests" in? something like 30 or so isn't it? To me that is the purest definition of a P/R playground as I can find.
Come on, let's get this pump machine going!!!!!
now down all the way to .0001 in one day would be truly impressive. I totally agree that is where it will eventually end, and I give it 3 months.
BTW, you still in DPDW? Very good run with that one, thanks for the tip
next stop for this pig is .05
dave - in 3 months it will be .0001 not .001
During the next 3 months it will go down from where it currently is at.
Yep they do, and in about 3 month. there will be 3 zeros in front of the current price.
Watch and learn
Do you really think that this company would dilute their stock??
Well it looks like those Cinemax scumbags got the printing press turned on and a runnin'
voitsi - Good find; it lines up to the language in the 10Q. I also recall that they would be locked up for 2 years and depending upon the share price, they could convert debt to common stock with no limit based upon the share price at the time.
That lock up period is over, and it also lines up with the approval by the major shareholders (which happen to be the ones mentioned in you P.R.) to increase the A/S to 1.2BB.
I believe that there are ownership restrictions up to 4.9% of total outstanding.
2008 will be a very crucial year for common shareholders in this company.
I don't see Cornell mentioned, but 2.5mm is the loan amount and their is no limit to the amount of shares can be converted in order to satisfy the notes.
It looks like approx. 40% of this has been repaid from this paragraph.
The noteholders have agreed to restrict their ability to convert their
convertible notes or exercise their warrants and receive shares of our common
stock such that the number of shares of common stock held by them in the
aggregate and their affiliates after such conversion or exercise does not exceed
4.99% of the then issued and outstanding shares of common stock. However, the
noteholders may repeatedly sell shares of common stock in order to reduce their
ownership percentage, and subsequently convert additional callable secured
convertible notes. As of November 13, 2007, a total of $947,366 in convertible
notes issued on April 27, 2005 had been converted by the noteholders.
who is doing their financing? Cornell?
2 months ago it was suppose to be now.
If it goes up any more, I may need a cigarette
The T/A is gagged and last Friday we had 64mm shares traded without a complete capitualtion in price. IF that was retail selling, trust me, we would be well below where we are now.
Yesterday volume was fine until approx. 12mm hit in 2 big transactions. Again, it that was you or me doing it, guess what? The MM's would drive you nuts while you were trying to get out constantly lowering the bid price.
You tell me to shut up? Obviously you don't have a clue as to how some of these companies will lie to your face and then finance themselves.
I am long just like everyone else, I am just pissed and frustrated about lying management teams
Please Mr. CEO, please stop selling stock!!!!!!!!!!
come on baby, give me that bull run
come on baby, give me that bull run!!!!!!!!
all it takes is a p.r. to state they are about to start to commence to think about doing something......
OMG we are up 13%!!
I think so, but they have diluted the crap out of it in order to stay alive.
time for da pump!!
I am down 50% on this pig, so I don't care anymore. Didn't put much in to it to begin with.
Each P/R is worth about .0001 to .0002 increase in price. Company needs to put one out each day for 3 days straight. That should get us to .001 and into better waters.
They own at least 3 companies, so they have the basis with which to apply the pump.
This stock sucks; looks like a pump and dump scam by the company. Need another gather around the campfire Jimmy Carter shareholder letter.
Approx. 16+mm of the trades yesterday were dumps by the company in my opinion. The A/D line is going into the abyss.
because of the holiday, the volume will be light. Hopefully this will get posted and tracked over at OTCBB alerts
Very nice article on AKNS!!
oneman - I only say payroll to be sarcastic. The bottom line is volume speaks volumes!! In my opinion, if 35+mm of the 64mm in yesterdays volume was retail selling, the price would be much much lower.
There is only one way that the downside damage was contained yesterday. It is bad enough as it stands; each time this happens, more and more overhead resistance builds in the low 20's. Each attempt to breach it and move to new highs will get snuffed out due to this building resistance.
I happen to be one of those in the low 20's and after now having been in this for approx. 45 days, my confidence is beginning to waver, since I have been down from teh start.
Yep it has to be dumping by the company. No other way unless it was done by the company with this kind of volume.
