https://www.nutraingredients-usa.com/Article/2019/01/03/What-s-in-store-for-CBD-One-attorney-predicts-it-won-t-be-the-hot-ingredient-in-5-years#
Here's another thing from the recent PR that excites me that I believe didn't get the appropriate market response: "Once the app is completed, consumers will be able to search for deals and businesses, order their favorite products for in-store pickup, get items delivered, and track all loyalty points and transactions within one application."
Based on my understanding of the S-1 form, LBUY's:
O/S = about 55,000,000
Float = about 30,000,000
This should be up to date unless further share/warrant purchases were made since then --based on the offering. About 7,200,000 common shares were sold in the S-1 offering thus far.
LBUY just recently stated in a PR that demand has increased for their site by over 330%. They just acquired two institutional investors. Every state that legalizes marijuana (or CBD products according to recent PR) will be added to the site. That means that Leafbuyer will grow exponentially as more states legalize and as the cannabis and hemp industries grow in size. Leafbuyer will soon be in all 50 states for CBD dietary supplements as a "Priceline of CBD" after the FDA puts out CBD regulations that allow for low-dose CBD supplements. State by state, this firm will only multiply in size in a relatively short time. All I can tell you is that it is too early to judge what TheStreet has labeled "The Priceline of Pot." Expansion is underway. We're sitting on 4 million dollars. Revenues CONTINUE to increase QoQ. We can raise even more with the offering over time for expansion, which is necessary to grow at such an early stage in the company's growth. Amazon suffered for 5 years before gaining traction. As the stigma of cannabis continues to wear off, Leafbuyer will only get bigger quickly, and we have a small float.
Did you know that hemp's biowaste can also be used to produce ethanol that can be used in cars? It's a very inexpensive few-step process, and the ethanol volume produced exceeds corn's on a per acre basis by 8 fold.
How long will CWBHF's online sales advantage actually matter? Once our products start getting sold on places like Amazon, no one is going to care about the individual company websites. Once on Amazon, all of our products will have equal exposure, and products will be distinguished by quality (star rating). So, I'm thinking that CW's online sales may be an advantage right now, but it will only be a short-lived advantage.
I’m thinking that he didn’t answer since the form S-1 contains those answers. I will ask again though.
The warrants will provide money to the company when exercised, because the company is offering shares. 30 million common shares are being offered, but only 7,211,538 were actually sold, so the dilution is 7,211,538 shares, but since it was an offering, the company receives cash for the shares which is necessary for the company to expand and grow. The dilution over time consists of the common shares and the warrants being offered, which is:
"Up to 29,999,998 Common Shares and 37,499,996 Warrant Shares in aggregate, assuming a reset price of the Common Shares and a reset exercise price of the Warrants of $0.15, held by the Selling Stockholders."
"Applicable percentage ownership is based on 55,038,137 shares of common stock outstanding as of July 15, 2019."
Warren Buffett once said that as an investor, it is wise to be “Fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.”
That's mega.
CBD Industry Growth: The Bubble Will Always Burst
//Great article, and I completely agree! The snake oil salesman will be shaken out, and the respectable companies will survive.

All in all, people are learning more about the advantageous properties belonging to the CBD compound each day. Some could say that the CBD Industry has caused somewhat of an economic paradigm shift in the industrial make-up of markets.
While CBD has remained and simultaneously grown in one industry, it has also expanded into a few others. Infiltrating any consumer product industrial sector of the marketplace with ease, due to it’s undeniable benefits for therapeutic relief.
Joining the Health & Wellness Family
With so many becoming aware of the healing properties associated with the CBD cannabinoid and the federal legislative decision to allow Industrial Hemp to once-again, be grown on U.S. soil, we have seen a massive expansion of CBD products in all 50 states.
Therefore, it is important to remember that CBD has been given the ability to become independent from the Cannabis Industry. Cannabidiol is most definitely now it’s own industry with a wide array of products.
CBD has not necessarily broken all ties with the Cannabis Industry, however, it is being celebrated as a separate Industry in a global marketplace. CBD extracted from the Hemp plant is being largely accepted as a part of the Wellness Industry.
This is a very crucial feature for CBD to become synonymous with health and wellness products and it certainly becomes a protective layer for the CBD industry to shield itself with, that is, if the time comes when a government agency like the FDA comes knocking with updated regulatory guidelines.
Legitimately Established Among Giants
All things considered, why would being a part of the Wellness Industry help protect the CBD Industry from arbitrary regulations? Well, the primary factor that could possibly influence why the CBD industry may, in fact, remain untouchable is due to the size and profitability of the Wellness Industry as a whole.
The Global Wellness Institute Study found that the 3.4 Trillion Dollar Industry of Wellness has grown 3 times larger than Big Pharma. This seems impossible, but it’s true and since it is true, it is safe to say CBD is on a path to become very profitable.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to look at how CBD has economically established itself among corporate giants — and it is only getting bigger and better.
The claims and testimonials from the consumers of CBD products seem to be very heartfelt and and consistent, indicated that the benefits are indeed effective for various forms of therapeutic relief. There have also been multiple studies over the years backing their exact sentiments.
Since this cannabinoid has been proven to be highly effective for a number of physical ailments, the CBD compound has become a modern emerging industrial power with multiple revenue streams — serving as an extension of the Cannabis Industry, the Industrial Hemp Industry, the Vape Industry and the enormous Wellness Industry.
The Reality Bubble
On the other hand, the CBD market is growing to be oversaturated with so many different brands, it is becoming difficult for consumers to determine which products might work best for them.
Therefore, the industry has grown into an unproportional bubble. The thing is, at some point that bubble will eventually burst. The bubble bursting is basic economics from a capitalist perspective, and all you have to do is a little research on the history of these very same situations.
When that bubble finally does burst, people might assume that this could be a horrible scenario — when in reality, the bursting of the bubble will likely be a blessing in disguise. This is mainly because it will mean the snake oil salesman will get shaken out of the colander and those who remain, will be the brands you know you can trust.
Eventually, any industry that grows this quickly and gets to this size, their bubble is going to burst.
Oh Gawd. 12% of the population lives in California. That could be massive.
When CVSI submitted their paperwork to the docket, did that include their GRAS paperwork?
The fact that Gottlieb said that he does see opportunity regarding investing in CBD companies on the Squawkbox yesterday gave me the confidence I needed to dump it all into CBD at these amazingly low prices. He said that we first need regulations separating low-dose from high-dose CBD, and we need to ensure that companies are complying with GMP standards. Didn't CVSI just say that they are complying with GMP standards? --Isn't that what the US Hemp Authority Seal is all about? Also, when the FDA allowed hemp seed, they noted the GRAS status of the seed companies. It seems to me that CVSI had this all planned out. Big shout out to Dr. Duffy McKay for helping to prepare CVSI for this moment. --The critical moment before one of the biggest explosions that has ever occurred occurs with this stock on the OTC after the FDA or Congress clarify regulations for the CBD industry. Remember, CBD is going to outsell marijuana, and CVSI has 11% Market Share. Uhhhh, yeah...
That’s probably assuming that the FDA doesn’t change their stance.
Very true. The old ways are phasing out. They fooled my parents, but they seem to be having an extremely difficult time fooling me.
Do not be fooled. CVSI’s CBD is part of a refined hemp extract that also includes terpenes. Fear-mongers will have you believe that too much CBD is dangerous to the liver. —Maybe it is in isolation at ASTRONOMICAL doses (GW’s liver study used as much as 180,000 mg of CBD relative to a 75 kg individual, and Plus CBD has doses of around 15 mg per day—drinking too much water kills people too), but as part of a hemp extract, I doubt it. You see, the world has done a lot of studying of the cannabis plant and its extracts —especially Israel, and they aren’t parroting the same negative effects to the liver. We know that cannabis and its extracts are safe; to date, there have been 0 deaths from cannabis extract. Plus CBD is cannabis extract folks that comes from strains and growth methods that produce low THC; it’s incredibly safe, and CVSI continues to demonstrate this safety.
You must consider that big pharma is incredibly paranoid about cannabis replacing many of their chemical medicines. Naturally, when pharma executives are so desperate to protect their profits, they will lie. They’ll create junk science to get their way (fluoride, tobacco, DDT, and marijuana sciences to name a few of many); welcome to the age of Reefer Madness 2.0. Do not let them confuse you; stick to these facts for your debates.
Did you guys hear this from 2:40-4:07?
CBD will be a business opportunity but needs regulation first, Gottlieb says
Great firm. Great founders with amazing past accomplishments. Useful website and even more useful when Congress eventually deschedules cannabis, which will quickly expand Leafbuyer's footprint. When I traveled to Colorado, Leafbuyer was the site recommended by locals in Denver to find the best deals in the area. Revenues are continuously increasing. --So is debt, but that's expected by a start-up that's expanding quickly while trying to beat off competition. As long as revenues continue to increase, I'm happy as an investor. The website and app generate millions of views per month, and I expect the new developments to be seriously value-adding. Based on the company's PR regarding the promotional activity and considering the good reputation of the founders, I think this issue will eventually blow over. Keep up the good work LBUY! You still have believers! The regulatory framework of this nation regarding cannabis will improve, and LBUY's footprint will only MULTIPLY as a result. Now, who doesn't want to know the best prices in their area?? --preventing unnecessary trips to multiple dispensaries, thanks to Leafbuyer. You can thank Leafbuyer for saving time, money, and gas. I'm in deep, and I'm holding strong! I'm with you LBUY, and it's probably worth your while to be with LBUY too if you care about saving money when going to a dispensary! https://www.leafbuyer.com/corporate-bios
Oh wait, you're talking about 120 mil fully diluted O/S vs 98 mil basic O/S. You know, there is a difference between fully diluted and basic O/S. As far as the share price is concerned, you use the basic O/S.
It's deceptive to have a stock-trading Twitter feed with 77.2K followers while acting like you don't know the difference between basic and fully diluted shares..
https://twitter.com/super_trades?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor
O/S only increased by 76,000 since last quarter. What's this about dilution?
I bite back by purchasing more shares in this company that I believe in. My conviction and long-term loyalty here are unphased by unscrupulous short sellers.
If you bought shares under .25 cents US, consider it a blessing. Leafbuyer is not going bankrupt. They secured new financing last month and have plans to ramp up expansion in the fall. They are doing it BECAUSE of demand they can't keep up with.
“We plan to double our sales and support teams by Fall 2019 to manage the increased demand for our products and services,” said Rossner. https://seekingalpha.com/pr/17514882-leafbuyer-technologies-inc-announces-record-revenue-growth
It's like clockwork that this stock dips after earnings and then flies off the handle shortly after to at least the 6's.
Wow, great DD. I want to get bit but survive so I can turn into a wolf-man like you.
Exactly. And if the FDA tries to hand it to big pharma, then they can expect to face several lawsuits in the process.
Investors shouldn’t weigh the new stores as heavily as the old ones carrying supplements. The new ones only have topicals, and those are not a part of CVSI’s core revenue. Most revenue comes from supplements, and regulatory advances by the FDA will reduce bad actors while leaving the players that have demonstrated safety with their products. These regulations will put our supplements in Kroger and CVS.
The FDA is to blame. —Not CVSI management. What hole did you crawl out of? This is common knowledge.
ALL news sources are putting out bogus information about CVSI not meeting expectations. How can expectations properly be measured when CVSI’s core product is not yet being sold at CVS or Kroger. I think we need to wait until FDA regulations are established before pulling out the measuring tape —to be fair. Management has done everything right, and now, it’s just a waiting game. Congratulations to CVSI for a phenomenal quarter despite regulatory hardship and a tough legal landscape. CVSI has led the industry not only through demonstrating safety but with pushing the industry forward. Everyone including CWEB should be hoping to see CVSI succeed. I bought more shares today for the second chance in a year at prices this low.
I believe that the share price will return to normal as the low price attracts investor attention. I wouldn't even worry about it; let the shorts have their fun, and just ride the wave by buying up shares at a discount. We all know this firm is destined for the stars above. PlusCBD's a top-seller. Q2 2019 was our highest revenue quarter ever despite FDA fear and the inability to put our dietary supplements on the shelves of major retailers due to this FDA fear.
Don't worry, she'll come around. Just wait and see. It may not be today, but we all saw two days ago how quickly this can move when it wants to. The annual 10K comes out at the end of September, and I am plenty patient enough to wait until then or even longer if necessary. Great future with this one. Keep in mind that the founders have not sold a SINGLE share.
Also, keep in mind:
The Company estimates that the net proceeds from this offering, after deducting fees and legal expenses, will be approximately $4,040,000. The offering is expected to close July 8, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions. The Company intends to use the proceeds from this offering for acquisitions, working capital and general corporate purposes.
Kurt Rossner, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented, “We are very pleased with the results of this private placement. We believe that this financing will enable the Company to accomplish its multi-faceted growth strategy and sets the stage for the first phase of reaching its strategic initiatives. Additionally, we expect the completion of this placement to strengthen our balance sheet. In addition, the warrants will give the Company additional funds when exercised.”
No problem.
I’ve heard that it helps with blood sugar levels. See this, my friend:
Have you tried adding vanadium and chromium supplements to your diet to help with diabetes?
Just a little profit taking. Should keep going up to its MA50 over time, at least. If their next quarterly is good, it could do even better. This stock has been known to randomly spike in value.. I sold last time when it went over $2.00. The potential of this firm has not changed, and they get millions of views a month.
We'll worry about it when that day comes. Growth is currently outpacing dilution significantly despite FDA madness.
