To do what they did to them. Easy answer.
From Mide:
"why in the world would a "pristine" major stock exchange who does copious due diligence on its screening procedures of new stock entries and all management, admit GTE in the first place?"
Yep, your right Jim.
I really meant skybot and invader not Skydragon. My mistake here.
He received $100,000 through his company Delta Aero for the Skydragon. Shoud be Invader not Skydragon.
Jim Profit, I am providing many links to show that change.
Sky Dragon was assembled at the Palmdale facility and test flown multiple times prior to the event. The Sanswire team, together with Sanswire's strategic partners, Dr. Bernd Kroeplin and Tao Technologies, in cooperation with University of Stuttgart in Germany, managed and hosted the demonstration.

Rob responds to Mide on 10-3-06:
Rob has confirmed Delta Aero is gone...Extinct.

Justfrank, links- Based on the following it is my opinion because I didn't hear it firsthand.
db_ill_invest it was for larger bucks; like 100K, for the rights to skybot and invader.

olander I said nothing about Aero Delta. The money, I could be wrong on the amount, was paid to Bob Jones. It was mentioned at the shareholders meeting, by Mr. Huff, for the rights to these two designs.
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/replies.asp?msg=13759767
Frank please copy and paste the whole thing:
I could understand why Bob Jones job would be unknown to Rob.
He received $100,000 through his company Delta Aero for the Skydragon. He has until a certain date to return the money, if it is not returned he is out. So until that date arrives no one knows if he is there or not.
IMO
Note: IMO at bottom ,

Thanks Mide for the update. The only part I will find hard to believe is "The company will not be a typical pink. It will not release "fluff" press to pump the share price." I just bought back in last week and I was expecting a nice 50% pop shortly so I am hoping for a little fluff otherwise it could be a long, long winter.
Matt, I have yet to get a reply from you. I have posted about the bias on the GTEM board and I have posted a perfect example.
The first question was asked the next 2 posts directly attacked the poster and were not deleted while the rest of the thread was. In my own post I only mentioned what the poster Lowtrade mentioned. I would appreciate your comments on this matter.

Danielle writes: BTW...the SEC investigation is related specifically to the prior revaluation of the assets from purchases of Hotzone and Sanswire. This will affect Balance Sheet values but have no impact at all on current operations if there is a restatement.
What does the AMONG OTHER THINGS MEAN? I believe you may be correct, but maybe I am not reading this right.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 2006--GlobeTel Communications Corp. (AMEX:GTE) today announced that it has learned that the Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a formal order of investigation concerning, among other things, certain accounting issues, including the treatment of certain acquisitions and the valuation of certain intangible assets

Examples of bias on GTEM Board. Why does post# 53928 remain attacking a poster, post 53931 remains agreeing with the attack against the poster, and the next 4 posts get deleted. Your seeing bias at its best.

Here's a question for anyone. Can anyone provide PROOF that any blimp has ever reached a height of 65k ? Not hot air balloons or helium balloons but a standard "blimp" configuration like goodyear and sansIIA. I've yet to find anything that proves that to me.

'risk_it_us'
Here's a question for you! Why should anyone care if you feel a blimp at 65k feet is possible? or think lawyers are making mistakes.
Seems you & SAM are spending all day posting to no one! Time to move on to the next stock play! LOL Retail knows the past, and has little present to support. You guys need to take a note from Cole, & stop trying to kill a dead horse, 10 times a day!
There is no interest in GTEM !!! Let alone your negative posting. What a complete waste of time. IMO It's down to you & Sam rebutting every post on the board! And that's sad!

lowtrade...great post...yes, they are, collectively a sad bunch...even sadder, if you think he spends alot of time and effort HERE, risk it even started a site on Yahoo, to "discuss" GTEM...but all they basically do is rag on the company and the "bagholders"...saying how they can't wait for the demise of Globetel...

followingte there is no evidence this stock is alive at the moment. Now what is it about this company, Globetel, that would draw all you hyenas together to laugh at the few of us left? You persist even as the longs drop out. Is it untill all of us have dropped out at a loss that you will finally be satisfied? I think there are a few that will continue holding despite your best (worst) efforts.

Glow, Nerd, I believe I just quoted what Lowtrade said, why you knocking me? What did I say that offended you?
I just bought into this stock last week...just for sentimental reasons
This is Matt's 'The Question and Answer Board' And so far have received no answer from him. I just have a suspicion Rob Bleckman the GTEM IR person has something to do with what posts should be deleted. You know the close ties he has with some of the posters.
Until 4:00 on the GTEM board today there was only 34 posts total and most of the talk was about why the deletions.
You have to wonder why only 34 posts, usually well over 200.
You state:
Any questions or observations about deletions including and prior to that need to be addressed to Matt privately, not posted to the board.
The header on this board reads:
The focus of this board is to discuss issues related to the site, such as rules, feature requests, TOU, etc.
Please take discussions of specific deletions up with me privately. Go to my profile, click Send Private Message to send me a message. I'll be happy to discuss it there.
I am mentioning good non biased posts in large amounts that are being deleted and not a specific deletion.
grubmaster You are totally wrong the GTEM board is very biased. The stock went down from the $4.00 range to .27 cents and they only allow long time pro company shareholders to post. MY CHALLANGE TO ANYONE:
Go over there and post anything negative against the company and watch it be deleted. I do not post more then 4 posts a day and my posts are not deleted that often. I do like to hear both the good and the bad on any stock and I feel it is not right to post only the good. This board was always in the top 20 on posts, but it is really getting people discouraged to post just to see the post deleted. There is very little name calling and those posts deserve to be deleted. I suggest you go over to that board and seriously judge the posts that are being deleted.
Matt, look at the GTEM board. It is getting out of hand. "This page starts of at #53721.
Last post was #53870 which means there were 169 posts made and only 50 show.
Something is wrong here.
The bad thing about that is it only fluctuated 5 cents in 32 days on the pink sheets. Longs, shorts, daytraders and flippers can't make any money at this pace... not good.
Deadwood!
Pit, I've done the same a while ago, but this is still my favorite stock I have ever had. I just hate to see all the fluff gone, true or not.
Miguellara, Being consistently right is an embarrassment, I would think the other way around. There is about 400 million lost in market cap since Globetel reached it's highs. Somone made some money, most likely hedge funds. What do you have against the small guy making money? You should be happy at least it is someone you post to. Try posting to a hedge fund, send a message to HBK (Dr Kissinger) and tell him you don't like what he is doing. Personally I would like to see the small investor make money even if thier opinion differs from mine.
Class action lawsuit no big deal. Win, lose or settle out of court, Globetel should have insurance to cover it. SEC is the biggie.
Game7 Ask him why he dosn't publicly address the company so everyone can get first hand update.
Kostro stated "We'd like our shareholders to know,
however, that we continue to cooperate fully with the SEC"
And that was before the appointments of Joe and Tim.
IMO The SEC and Federal Law Inforcement asked that Globetel keep Joe and Tim in this country until after the investagation thus they were promoted to COO and CTO.
Pit, who is going to bother going to the website other then present shareholders.....no interest.
Penny, I have been following along and with great accuracy as you can see in my past posts. I wish you good luck as you used the words, IMO and I respect your opinion.

"What's our technology worth to those that do have money?"
What actual proven technology do they have in use and publicly working? So far it has all been vision (you know, like the drug companies have a vision for the cure of cancer). If you are talking about Centerline how much technology does it take to wholesale pre paid phone cards?
What does that have to do with Globetel, did the Amex prevent them from running a sucessful company?
Nerd, really maybe you should get your facts straight.
The second project is being sponsored by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and is called the high-altitude airship (HAA). In 2005, DARPA awarded a contract for nearly $150 million to Lockheed-Martin for prototype development. First flight of the HAA is planned for 2008.
Nerd, that is the writers opinion.
Skunks Works ship indicates it is the former--a hybrid heavy-load carrier.
However, the same article does make ref to ANOTHER LM product (currently in construction w/ gov funds) and that is not the canceled Walrus program.
You see a demo of a non tethered airship. Can you please post a picture of The non tethered actual Strat. So how can anyone honestly say GTEM is ahead of the field.
Skyvision,You provided the best, most knowledgeable, non biased reply this board has shown in a long time. You have a true grasp of this company. While I don't think this company is dead, the signs of life are ticking away and they cannot prolong any developments much longer. It is time to show what they got and soon. And like you say:
Bottom line -- $$ will flow to the first company to station-keep and commlink with a vehicle @ 65kft for a week or more.
Crash. You only pick out what you want to hear.
Read the bold with the link provided. the company claimed that the P-791 is unrelated to WALRUS.
DUH
Soma Look at the 2 links I provided at the bottom of my last message.
There are so many patents made on airships Globetel better have a full time patent attorney to make sure they are not infringing on someone else's patents. Never mind what is pending by other companies.
Here is 159000 links.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=recent+airship+patents&btnG=Google+Se....
Skyvision "Globetel is building a clock - not merely telling time."
The hands on the clock have been going backwards.
Many patents have already been made on airships and does Globetel have the money to fight off any patent infringements, the ones they may be violating. Right now they don't have any patents, and may be too late for them to receive approvel on anything of any value. Lockheed is way ahead of them on HAA airship and it is semi ridged although most of it is being kept secret and not overly promoted.
On January 31, 2006 Lockheed-Martin made the first flight of their secretly built hybrid-airship designated the P-791 at the company's flight test facility on the Palmdale Air Force Plant 42. The P-791 aircraft is very similar in design to the SkyCat design unsuccessfully promoted for many years by the now financially troubled British company Advanced Technology Group. Although Lockheed-Martin is developing a design for the DARPA WALRUS project (see below), the company claimed that the P-791 is unrelated to WALRUS. Nonetheless, the design represents an approach that may well be applicable to WALRUS. Some believe that Lockheed-Martin had used the secret P-791 program as a way to get a "head-start" on the other WALRUS competitor, Aeros.

Widd Is GTEM legitimate and has the SEC said anything yet?
I think it would be best to have that answer before you invest in this company. I would also wait for earnings, reorganization updates and status of the Strat and Germany BK answer. My entry will be .15 or .40, I would rather pay more for a better outlook. One good thing for you is you got your tax writeoff and the stock hasn't moved since then, which is a real positive for you.
Rocket man, good post.
"Wow oh wow oh wow wow wow bow wow. cockroaches, disease-spreaders, doubt vaccine, lies and half-truths, crackheads, power of prayer."
When you use words like that
I take it you own GTEM.
Nerd86, Changes are happening so quick it is getting hard to keep up. Forget about the past, thats history. Starting new as a penny stock and worse is that no one will believe anything they say.
For a CEO to come out with a statement like that can mean only that things are much worse then could have been imagined. Most CEO would only mention things like: Lynch is leaving, as a result of the increased demands on his time from his family. khoury just gave him a kick in the teeth. LOL
"Peter Khoury, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Implementing positive change within our Company necessitates a new breed of Chief Financial Officer for GlobeTel. I expect Michael DeCarlo's proven track record of accurate financial reporting, acumen in financial and operational analysis and impressive skill will enable us to follow through on our mission to restore credibility and build shareholder value."
Nerd86, your right and the shareholder gets hurt by having non trading assets.
Miguellara, My sincere good luck to you!
Prosper! Do you realize if this company went up 1000% they would still be under $3.00.
Miguellara, what would happen if GTEM dosn't file a quarterly report or for that matter a yearly report? Do they get delisted, if so where do they trade? The shareholder gets hurt either way. I gave a link to a company who hasn't filed for over a year but it was deleated. I don't know why as it could relate to GTEM.
More BS from Rob on PR:
Did they already file 12B-25 form:
"GlobeTel Communications Corp. Files 12B-25 for Extension to File Third Quarter 10-Q"
or are they going to file one:
"The Company will file a Form 12b-25 for an extension in connection with the delayed filing."
Which is it?
