Obviously they don't have that much cash it they violate the agreement with warrant holders. R/S can still be avoided, it all depends on results coming next month.
Simple answer: It is illegal when warrant conversion is on going...same applies to selling the company
I hope so.
Yes trigger fingers have turned towards AEZS...
I hope we see 0.05 next so that I could load big times, I just don't really believe it is going to happen. This was the bottom on last FRI. Yes shorties and crooks try hard, but at the moment AEZS is one of the most undervalued biotech stock on the market.. This price is already so hilarious.
I never thought we would drop below $0.20
That's life bro
No I am just telling this is a biotech company...
It is called tax selling... People try to sell and buy back before news come out early next month...but may come earlier too...
If results are good we ain't gonna need any R/S.
I don't quite understand, please explain how is R/S same as dilluting existing shareholders? Yes you have less shares after that, but on the other hand your relative portion of the company remains the same (means there is no decrease in value, except perhaps those who sell their shares without even caring to chack what R/S means, may have short effect on price).
I see dillution phenomenon where my relative ownership of the company changes. Yes I agree many companies first issue many shares and when the daily volume or O/S becomes unsustainable they will do R/S in order to ride it down again and do it all over again. In biotech case this is a little bit different however as these companies tend to be dead fishes anyway before real news. This company has enough cas to continue approximately 2 years and when taking into consideration that e.g. Estrogel sales may significantly reduce cashburn I would not be that worried. OTC or Nasdaq I don't care. I will look further when we get FDA approval it really does not matter if we have 237M O/S, 330M or even 500M. Also we are talking about possibility to get instant FDA approval and accelerated path to those people in need.
I believe in this company.
All companies do more or less... If you are tiny Pharma seeking for funding it is not easy to get...I know this industry pretty well... Every single financing except perhaps cash-flow financing is bad for investors no matter how you look at it, but the problem is you cannot (in most cases) grow without doing some dillution or taking huge loans...
Tell me what type of financing is less toxic (*= and be realistic not you are the CEO and your company needs money, what you do?)?
Well if you look at any stock in general you shall see that stocks go up and down up and down...some stocks go more down than others, but on the other hand they may give much better profits than many other stocks on the market which are more stable...
You are here probably for the same reason than I, you want to put your money into shares that have serious upside potential... You are not satisfied getting 5% or even 15% return on investment, but you want to get 1000% or even 10 000% profit if your investment horizon is long enough. You know that without risks you will not make any money in life without breaking the law and just like I, you want to stay on the right side of the law.
Tell me again why is this management so bad, if you are able to buy huge potential for moderate risk* (*=just my opinion as an individual investor)?
Okay, I only evaluate management based on how successfully they can make the turnaround and I guess you cannot say that yet... The current management has connections to big Pharmas and those connections may come handy. It is not easy to get development partners nowadays without connections. Yes that cashless warrant deal was bad for longs in the short-term, but then again it is not easy to get funding is you are tiny Pharma without any FDA approved products on the market. Also if you are thinking short-term movements, you are not real long...you mighs as well be short..
AEZS is bankruptcy priced at the moment. Actually if AEZS would go bankrupt it would probably trade higher than now solely based on CPS and patents/Pipe. Probably between 0.15-0.35 cetns.
I have heard that before and made truckload of cash..
I am not here to prove the state of my health, you can come by and we can look what I can buy with my AEZS shares (which I have quite many) lets say 1-2 years from now. I did not buy these shares in order to sell anytime soon.
All I can say to you is do not quit your dayjob just yet if you think AEZS is fairly valued at the moment;O)
No sales figures yet by end of Q4 we know how sales has started.
Most likely more than hundrets of millions each, because we are talking about ww need here...
Once/if FDA approved both Zoptarelin Doxorubicin
(Endometrial cancer) and Macrilen (endocrinology) will be huge enough to bounce AEZS from 0.077 level to 20 or even 50 in months. Also note that the estimations are only regarding US markets, but there is ww need for both.
Not sure how much you have studied endometrial cancer, but currently surgery is the only cure and it is highly risky procedure and without it patient will most likely die..
This is probably new JAZZ if both or just one of those late phase drugs is approved.
What it comes to market potential of. e.g. Estrogel it is worldwide recognized product and AEZS made a pretty good deal in US.
Well...
# The number of O/S (how many warrants will be exercised all in all) # Phase 3 trial in endometrial cancer: second interim analysis expected in October --> if good news will be huge thing
# Phase 3 trial for the evaluation of AGHD: first patient recruited expected in September (completed)
# New partnerships and any sudden up front payments
# Commercial activities for the remainder of 2015: increase market share for EstroGel and Saizen / in-license or acquire already marketed product may generate significant revenue
#Buyout
#Stock market start to recover --> situation in China will be stabilized
#New patents and sudden new discovery
And so on...
Indeed, should be a nice hop on Tue... If not I am a buyer again.
I strongly believe we will see a day when all of us regret we did not sell everything we have and buy AEZS...we shall see...
Management is working which is good...earning their salary. Next step would be to take half of their salary in AEZS shares.
Forget your lotto you never win anyway...AEZS might give you nice profit if you are patient.
Strong Pipe + Strong Balance + Strong Management
Still significantly undervalued...look at e.g. VICL, AMDA, LPTN...etc. all have faced difficulties, but did not go sub penny...
This is still unbeleivable opportunity to buy AEZS under 0.10 I think.
Well I could give you many reasons why one might think of selling the company now..
But yes I too hope they will not sell AEZS now when good news are just around the corner + big pharma to open us ww markets would also be great.
Thnx for the link!
You are right AEZS needs big Pharma which is exactly why I think this buyout nonsense... Once they have FDA approved product they need big Pharma to make it available everywhere..
Exactly what you said...now valuation is low + not enough evidence and so are up front payments..
Good question, I guess it is zero before sales figures as markets seem to value AEZS..;)
Cashless warrants don't provide an explanation to drop from 0.29 to 0.077. There must be something else too..
A NOVEL ABOUT TINY BIOTECH CALLED AEZS
'THE BURNING PLATFORM'
I believe they may be trying to sell this company and that will be announced shortly. I have my own reasons to believe so but e.g. Mr. Dodd made same 'misstake' as e.g. Mr. Elop did at Nokia when saying the burning platform thing...
TIMING: 'CHEAPEST NOW BEFORE FDA APPROVAL AND WHEN TAX SELLING IS ON GOING'
If I would be the CEO and I would aim to sell the company this is exactly what I would do too...knowing that when year end is closing people normally start their tax planning...then they get rid of their shares and try to buy them back...
ONLY LOSER IS THE ONE WHO LOSES HIS/HER SHARES: 'IF YOU SELL YOU MAY REGRET FOREVER'
Only problem here what it comes to tax-selling attempts is that someone is buying those shares in order to ensure they get favourable voting result, if there is even ever going to be any vote, some big pharma or fund may be buying AEZS little by little. Just look at daily volume and chart carefully you see anything weird...?? Just look at the volume after hours, pre market...someone tries to get this share price down... This is not just normal shorties doing their tricks. There is something very big happening in the shadow...
'YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE ABSOLUTE BOTTOM, BUT MISS THE REAL AIRPLANE'
Buying back millions of shares, even 500k is hard, try to buy back 2M, 5M or 10M. When the poor investor finally realizes what this manipulation is all about the share price is over $1.50 and never going back down again. Just like some biotechs do every now and then...
'VALUATION IS LOW NOW, PERFECT TIMING FOR BUYOUT'
If AEZS would be sold what you think the per share value would be? I strongly believe between 0.50-0.70 is we are lucky...without FDA approval someone gets us cheap. CPS is around 0.20c. I personally think they should not sell AEZS...better go off the main list than than...better go off than do R/S too.. If you would be a big pharma with all that cash...and I know Biotech companies pretty well...well there you are as a CEO sitting on plenty of cash they just donät know hot to spend it...then one day this CEO sees tiny biotech with plenty of cash and with nice little extras (Strong Pipe). After doing some calculations he sees that well buying that tiny little company is actually cheaper than starting new drug development program from scratch. Any guess what would he do?
And so they lived happily ever after. At least those who did not sell their shares I guess, but that is another story.
Indeed!
Exactly!
You are currently looking at stock that has loaded with zero positivity, you get one of million good news and stock will fly..
Exactly!
There are plenty of examples of biotech companies that have gone down to almost sub pennies and then successfully made the turnaround e.g. TH:TO, CRME, JAZZ...etc.
Dropping price means nothing welcome to biotech world. What I am saying is when this opens many times higher one morning it just feels so good.
Just some funny question for everyone
Would you brother longs buy $100 for $42 if you would get nice little extras on top of that deal?
I would too.
***Strong Buy***
True! AEZS @.08 is huge bargain...upside potential is more than huge!
True (may be just the usual year standing there to be seen) but nontheless I believe nice Short squeeze is coming next week.
How nice that market is close and those who gambled today cannot buy until conference;O)..
Isn't this like the perfect time to make the last dump...watch aftermarket may turn green;)
Yes and they made a very good deal was it 60% of profits of well known product..
I have been buying since 0.29 because just like you I believe this is a bargain. This should never have dropped below 0.20, but when it did investors lost their sense and started to follow momentum.
Market psychology...fear for stock price going down not thinking about what that might reflect...and in the middle of chaos choosing wrong indicators like imaginary 400M-500M O/S. This is game and that day will come when AEZS will open above $1.50.
Gonna pop nicely next week when investors realize they are waiting that 0.05 for nothing. Trigger fingers start to be nervous;O)
Yes most likely.. Those cashless warrants are useless...not even important here...just a decoy.. Every AEZS under 0.20 is very good long-term hold.
Exactly...looks like those warrant holders have started calculating 1 +1!
I mean if they paid 0.50-0.70 on average and now their average is at best around 0.22 ...but without any warrants we might still be at 0.20 level down 50+% either way bro.
On page 2:
"Closing price per share/$0.09
Total common
shares outstanding/237.7 million -- "
I don't still quite understand how are they gonna benefit from excercising those warrants...
I believe that all warrants will not be exercised...if so all lose...and situation remains the same or worse.
