FlyBaltia747, in response to your post, Why would Baltia's management spend $12,000 on audited financial statements unless they know they successfully completed the mini. Another mini could use that $12,000 towards it; because time wouldn't be of the essence if they didn't successfully complete the mini; but time is of the essence because Baltia spent 12 grand on audited financial statements that is 12K that could be used for another mini.
If I was in charge and thought the FAA was going to request a mini #8; I'd save my $12,000 until after I got the funds together for the next mini; so, I think they actually did successfully complete the mini because of deductive reasoning.
Maybe my hypothesis is correct and UAL is going to use that 3 billion to acquire Baltia as a subsidiary Air Lines corporation and they're buying back shares everyday to make the price reasonable compared to what we think the share structure looks like at first glance.
Recall that United got 3 billion to add to their already existing share buyback program. Initially we think United is going to buy back UAL shares; but when we think about it, they already trade around $60 per share and further, it states clearly in their financial statements that the 3 billion dollars doesn't have to be used for the buyback program which is interesting in and of itself because it is 3 billion dollars!
If Baltia is going to be acquired, they would need those audited financial statements for the buyer and the transaction and time is of the essence.
Additionally, UAL was on that list of bidders for the exclusive rights to the routes that Baltia got. (Information from that IPO post.)
And, UAL already has half a billion in their share buyback program and they do not have toxic debt. Their outstanding shares are in line with the other air lines; so why do they need 3 BILLION DOLLARS for a share buyback program. 3 BILLION DOLLARS that is authorized to be used for something other than the share buyback program.
Think about UAL's shareholders. The educated investors would wonder about the 3 Billion dollars if it is not used for the buyback program and in fact they would insist on a cash dividend. That could be another use for the 3 BILLION. If they were to purchase another air line company to be a subsidiary, Baltia, for example would retain their current management and would be managing a new american airlines with a different corporate organization.
Carsmax177, we're lucky to have you and your intelligence here also. You just explained an accounting thing better than any of my professors. So in a way, we are paid in capital because I researched the division of corporations in New York's Dept. of State and saw the established par values on Baltia's authorized shares.
I sent you a more detailed pm.. but wanted you to know that I appreciate your answering my question. In a way we are also paid-in-capital because we're purchasing above par value (the premium you explained). Thank you:)
YAY BALTIA!!
position: long and strong purchase
Robodog about those slides and the vendor and maybe FAA studies. The post says maybe FAA is testing vendor slides and it could take up to 2 to 3 months to complete such studies.
Baltia doesn't have to wait for the FAA to study BF Goodrich, a vendor... Remember, it is out of Baltia's control about the slides and the vendor packing them.
The FAA can study the slides all day long for the air line industry; but Baltia doesn't have to be held up because of something that the vendor is responsible to handle.
Like emit said; the FAA should allow our Baltia to release some PRs to its stockholders, their paid-in-capital.
Carsmax, isn't it called paid-in-capital on the statement of financial condition (balance sheet)? Shareholders financing the company and giving them capital via selling us future very valuable shares.
YAY Baltia!!
position: long and strong buy
We are so fortunate to have the knowledgeable posters on this Baltia Air Line investment. I am very grateful for the opportunity to invest in our international Baltia Air Lines; and, I am planning on holding on to my shares because I like owning part of an airline company, it's totally cool.
Seriously, I want the pps to provide an ROI on Baltia and at the same time I am not selling my position when it runs (just enough to go shopping after thanksgiving and tuition), because I do see a bright future and exponential growth potential for the new American Air Lines, Baltia.
I daytraded a lot and no stock has ever compelled me to go to the pawn shop until now. That is how strong I believe.
Good luck to us longs especially the longs who've been with this for years and the company of course.
YAY BALTIA!!
position: long and strong buy.
I want to shop on Black Friday sooooooooo much that I just hope something happens prior to Thanksgiving!!
YAY Baltia
position: long and strong buy
Tomorrow is Wednesday, we all know it and it is when the PR, if any, is going to be released this week. "Hump" day. Usually if a PR isn't out on Wednesday, it's waiting for next week. USUALLY This is the rule of thumb when waiting on a PR.
position: long and strong buy
Investors say we heard every other time they did a mini except this time so the answer is probably a big 'ol YES we passed the mini. We would know and this stock pps is not factoring in a fail on this mini number seven.
The pps seems to be factoring in a "maybe". IMO
position long and strong buy
that sounds really good. Baltia's design would be more than amazing, it would set industry standards, or set the bar for other air craft and they're an international air line. This really could see the dollars if Baltia has patents.
emit, so we're like pioneers of sorts. eom
LOL emit. Sloooowwww. eom
Thanks Robodog, well, then other planes are flying around with faulty slides. Maybe Baltia should blackmail the FAA (just kidding)... seriously, the FAA can't let other planes just fly around with faulty slides.
If I were the FAA and doing a study as you suggest might be happening, I would randomly call the other Airlines and test their slide deployment. Very quietly and very discreetly as to not upset the entire air line industry.
If you are correct with the other aviation posters about this vendor slide packing thing, then that would make sense. But wouldn't insiders know and wouldn't it be reflected in the stock prices of BF Goodrich or other air lines... I need to go look at them again and see what is going on... an industry wide panic about slides and aircraft safety would be a market nightmare and those who fly nightmare and it would do well to be avoided.
It would just scare everybody if it got in the news and then BF Goodrich's stock would nose dive (pun intended). It would be like battle of Lexington in 1775.
I feel much anger at BF Goodrich and I think they deserve it for not making or packing the slide properly. It's just not fair to Baltia and they've been through soooooo much trying!! FAA is going to have to pass this mini and put the onus on BF Goodrich. They passed the mini, imo...we would have heard if they didn't.
position: long and strong buy
Certainly the slide works now right? Why wouldn't they put a good slide in R-1 (or whatever door) after the incident. They would have repaired that in a week or two right? I don't know the mechanics of the aviation industry hardware, like planes. It's a good question.
This is for real, nobody lies about starting an airlines for G_d's sake. You can lie about lots of other OTC stuff and stocks under $5.00 but not an Air Line....too obvious. Duh.
YAY BALTIA!!!
position: long (strong buy)
Thanks for that uplifting update Firestream, I had a rough day today and I appreciate your posting something verifiable. Thanks again.
Inorout, Henry didn't have experience running a car business with the model T; so, BLTA will be fine with its Model T - 747 ancient jumbo that flies perfectly, she is airworthy and we're going to get the word as soon as Baltia releases some serious credible update.
speckulater, "early revenues" sounds better yes?
Yes but revenue will start early with proving flights because those who understand the process say the jumbo jet can carry cargo on proving flights generating EARLIER than anticipated revenue.
Robodog, nice post and accurate. I came back to the market because I needed to make fast ROI and found that the stock I chose is an investment and not for daytrading... well maybe some people daytrade it; but yes, the DD the good posters, this is an investment. Thank you.
sure chief very nice. Now we just need it to reflect in our stock price. Somebody needs to remove the cone of silence from Baltia.
AKthisistheone, this will see .0001 if that happens, the research can only sustain this pps for a certain amount of time. I think the research is solid but then if it does get to that price I could really get some more shares.
Carsmax177 don't you think it's better than "nice". If it's the Big Plane. I think they have a cessna (sp?) too.
Huge find speckulater, Thankyou eom.
That is awesome Carsmax177 eom
I understand tiffanyholmes, it's easy to think that with one excuse after another about this stupid mini with one slide in question. Something doesn't add up; but that something is good, imo. The company is legit.
speckulater, it makes an investor think that time is of the essence to purchase shares at this price. Something big is happening. Thank you for your post.
AKthisistheone, what are we interior designers? I just think people should at least look at Virgin Americas seats they're totally awesome and look futuristic.
Interiors are important if you fly a lot...especially if company is paying the employee. I know, I traveled to so many places every week. I lived in Marriotts and got platinum level. Mostly flied Delta with my 1st class upgrades won with frequent flyer points.
Red Carpet Club with United and Medallion with Delta... but the interior does matter....
And that was some time ago...but if I knew I could fly Virgin America, the interior of the plane would be why.
Baltia chose great colors for its interior. But if you want to see some seriously haute couture air line seats; you should check Virgin America..their colors are red and white and they have wifi and their seats are or look like leather....friggin awesome. The backs of seats looks like computers.
Baltia's been working on this since 1989. Quite certainly it is not a scam.
okay Youlie, I'll focus on mini and proving flights, I just don't see why they aren't a potential target; and further more it would be based on future eps not current. It's their intangibles that make them worth a look.
And yes, for the love of G_d; let them pass that friggin annoying mini. They should have been issued a successful completion anyways, imo.
If any plane gets to the point where they need to use the slides, they're darn lucky the plane even landed. I'm sure the crew could re-direct cause there is more than one slide.
FAA in DC is being nitpicky...maybe somebody is paying them to try and fail Balta, like the competition.
It isn't a scam. They file regular financials pretty timely and they took the expense of filing an audited 10K on September 10, 2015. Further, I looked Baltia up in the New York Dept. of State Division of corporation and they are "active". The information actually matches a date on speckulater's DD. The authorized share count is a match and that means they filed that increase with the DOS recently. The
NY DOS division of corporations has the information current as of 9.28.15
Usually PRs are released on Wednesdays, as a general rule, hump day.
If not on Wednesday then it's customary to look to the next week. That said Friday is a good day too...but so is Sunday evening for an M&A.
I've been talking some kind of merger for weeks and nobody really pays attention to it. But why shouldn't another company team up with Baltia.
Delta sold it's long Russian routes, took an investment in Eastern China Airlines and Brazil's Gol Air Lines in Sao Paulo...maybe they could be an investor or partner.
Maybe a meteorite will land in my yard tonight.
Red Herring, somebody buying time. There is more to this that that. They could have been preparing for another mini "mini" for a month now.
nice post Roag Trader, I don't think it takes two weeks to do a mini "mini"
for one slide. Couple of days and they could have been preparing for it for quite some time now.
Are you talking about BLTA or the US Monetary system!

most states have a limit to how many shares of stock can be "authorized".
From New York corporate law for authorized shares (but I am looking for the number allowed)
"How to increase the authorized shares of stock?
An increase on the authorized shares of stock has to be formally requested to the state by filing “articles of amendment“. A shareholders’ meeting is ussually required to authorize an increase of the shares since their ownership of the company will be affected due to this change."
speckulater, you've gone above and beyond to educate Baltia investors with FACTS. Thank you.
Monroe1, thought it was a gold rooster.eom
Sounds positive testing2. Maybe it will get PR's as soon as Baltia knows the answer and that is why he said what he said about us knowing before he knows.
Thanks for calling Mr. Mazor
